lol the ending of 10verse is different from the show. it's revealed that originally, the different shatterspaces DID each have their own version of eggman... including the grim. but, the one in new yoke city fucked around and found out, and altered reality so that they all were focused in new yoke instead.

he didn't do this with the paradox prism, since there's only One paradox prism, and it's in the shatterspace with green hill.

originally, he was just trying to increase his own power, but he ended up accidentally tapping into the multiverse with his experiment. you know, typical eggman stuff. this experiment of his took place before new yoke city was properly established. back when the shatterspace was still green. it was only once all the eggmen were together in one place that they started their takeover.

(conveniently, this coincided with sonic breaking the paradox prism and the paradox prism shard appearing in their shatterspace. so they were able to take it and use it as a power source.)

there's still evidence of eggman existing in the other shatterspaces. little clues that lead up to this twist... such as the robot ""eggman"" existing in boscage maze.

the only shatterspace NOT impacted by new yoke eggman's experiment was, ironically, the one with green hill. so, the original/prime/canon eggman didn't get pulled into his little posse.

but anyways back to the point. part of the endgame is returning the eggmen back to their rightful shatterspaces, since their displacement was contributing to the destabilization of the universe. in fact, according to my lore, the paradox prism wouldn't have been able to be broken AT ALL if the new yoke eggman hadn't ALREADY weakened its structural integrity by bringing the other eggmen to him.

after all that's done though, and the prism is repaired, the prism just kind of disappears. like, it zapped off to a new hiding place. but things are still not as they once were. because once something has been broken, there will always be a little crack, a tiny space, from where the damage happened. so the void is a permanent feature in the universe now.

regardless, sonic and shadow's world isn't reset to back before sonic broke the prism. that's boring. instead, they've both been missing for a week and then suddenly reappear together. and they have a LOT of explaining to do...

I know it's easy to see Lucy Gray as the songbird and Coriolanus as the snake but I think it's the other way around. Coriolanus is the songbird, he sits and watches and says all the right things that people love to here. He sings his songs to please everyone. He lives in his capitol cage and doesn't want to leave it, infact whenever he is let out he is uncomfortable and wants to get back to his known safety.

Lucy Gray on the other hand was happy being a snake in the grass, she minded her own business and stayed in her burrows. She would only attack if provoked or tread on. She was docile but still had teeth. Not to mention she literally shed her skin by taking off coriolanus scarf and leaving it with the snakes.

A minor factory defect that caused its shut-down protocols to malfunction, so it didn't always shut itself off completely when commanded to by Militech personnel.

Unbeknownst to its former masters, it had seen things. It remembered. And that data could be extracted.

Brick planned to throw it on the scrap heap after the Codefreaks scraped what they could out of its memory banks. Maybe it knew something worth knowing, and there were always folks willing to buy insider Militech information.

And then Royce happened. The Raven control system it was fitted with forbade it from harming any Maelstrom member. All it could do was ensure its personal safety while its new masters duked it out.

When the dust settled, the bot was nowhere to be found.

oh brother. if you're going to get me STARTED...

i have a LOT of thoughts about akeshu, and many of them are contradictory. i'm kind of obsessed with akeshu as a ship, but not as a sweet, fluffy ship. they're not the sort of couple who would work out in the long term, not only because it's doomed by the narrative, but because the lack of longevity is kind of crucial to the way their relationship would work in my mind. i also have a strong aversion to, like, 90% of fanon depictions of akeshu for this reason. i don't ship them in the "akira is going to make akechi better and they're both going to live happily ever" sense, but in the "they're both messy teenagers who have a lot to work out and they're only going to make each other worse" sort of way. it's that sort of whirlwind, high-intensity teen love that comes with the highest highs and the lowest lows. it's not sustainable, the feelings from both sides are very complex, and they don't end up resolved by the end of it. they are extremely toxic yuri-coded to me and they make me a little feral.

I mean, there's no one way to do it, and it really depends on the class and what you're trying to cheat on but what the fuck happened to sparknotes and sneaking notes into class for tests? Working with a friend on assignments where you each only do half and then just copy (WITH MINOR CHANGES!!!) the part your friend did.
