thinking about ed and stede waving goodbye to a ship as it sails away and choosing again to change, to try for a life of their own making but this time together as one, starting from the bottom, unsure where to begin, but smiling anyway; "it's got good bones"

thinking about that constant cycle (death and rebirth, death and rebirth), about how it's never too late to become who you are, about how change can seem scary, near impossible at times, but knowing on the other side there is the potential for freedom, for happiness, for love

" Mmm...what rhymes with Love? Ugh, how does Aphelios do this!"

You couldn't help but laugh at your lover. He sits by his computer, face scrunched up in frustration. His hands tapping a steady rhythm on the desk, a tune playing in his head but no words to go with it. He spends a good few minutes whining and groaning as he types, deletes, pauses and does it all over again. Suddenly, he stops, turning to look at you.

" Babe come here I need you."

He turns to the you sitting on his bed. An arm out, inviting you close. As you walk over, he quickly pulls you in, dragging you onto his lap. His head leaning on your shoulder. Affectionately nuzzling his face into your neck, seemingly trying to shake away his writer's block. His hands leaving the keyboard to wrap around your waist. Slowly he relaxes. A soft tune? He's humming a song against your skin as his fingers play an imaginary instrument on your waist. As his feet tap out a beat he finally lets go of you. Words now coming to him in a perfect rhyme as he whispers his new song. A smile now on his face.

" Mmm~ I love you my muse, you're just so good for me you know that? The way holding you clears my head."

He laughs loudly, giving you a charming smile as he starts furiously typing on the computer. You giggle at his cute outburst, turning to look at the screen, slowly reading and digesting the words he typed. The scenario suspiciously reminiscent of your conversation with him when he first confessed to you. Wait, was this a love song about you? The feelings and emotions captured almost perfectly. Is that him writing about not being able to sleep the night before because he was so excited just to be in love with you? It almost feels like a sin reading the things he typed. It felt so deeply personal to him.

" Kayn? Is this about us?"

As you tease him, his face confirms it. His shit eating grin of pride from writing a good verse now turning into an awkward shocked look as a blush rises up his face. He has been caught in the act it seems. Forgetting that by having you on his lap means you have a very clear view of his screen.

" Ah! Get off me this is why I work alone!"

He tries to shake you off his legs, arms wrapping around you as he tries to lift you up. You let out a chuckle as you hold him tightly, refusing to let go. Reassuring him that you love it. He grumbles, your reassurance turning his embarrassment into a cheeky smile. Laughing, he effortlessly picks you up in a princess carry. Dropping you on the bed a few steps behind him. He climbs on top of you, leaning down to give you a quick kiss before lightly caressing your cheek and getting off.

" Now give me some space, a musical rockstar genius is at work! I'll show it to you when I think its good enough. Go go!"

He shoos you away, asking for privacy as he laughs and continues typing away. You can't help but smile as you see how happy he is now compared to his frustration from earlier. How lucky you were to have him.

okay this is such a weird question but like what is a dangerous scent? Because when i’m in heat i feel like a black widow omega hybrid thing that makes nests and lies there in waiting for an alpha to be lured in where i can keep them trapped and well yk it’s a heat for a reason. But it’s not like normal nesting for me it’s “i’m a dangerous creature that waits for my prey to come and find me through my pretty scent and deceptively comfortable nest”. Idk if this is normal behaviour for an omega at all but recently i just feel so feral like i’m about to kidnap some poor alpha and keep them in my nest forever 😭😭 ANYWAY back on to the question, i need a scent that rings danger. Right now my scent if fairly sweet and it works for everyday but when im in heat and in these moods i want another scent that like indicates other omegas to back tf off and i want to feel dangerous yk? sorry this is probs such a strange question hahaha

OK FIRST OFF!!!!! THAT IS A CONCEPT THAT GOES SO HARD AND I AM IN LOVE WITH IT!!!!!!!! I have never understood an assignment more clearly in my LIFE; I am FERAL about this concept.

Ok!!!! That being said, we have a lot of options to play with.

The first thing I thought of was keeping your original scent but adding something like capsaicin or menthol to your scent AKA things that don't necessarily have a smell, but will certainly affect people's senses.

I also did an rudimentary Google to get a vibe of what spiders smell like. A couple different sites mentioned acetic acid, which breaks down insect bodies. Acetic acid is basically vinegar. So, it's not so much of a luring thing, but it definitely would be indicative of danger.

That being said, capsaicin, menthol, or vinegar aren't the most appealing scents, and actually trying to make/find those scents as a wearable perfume might prove difficult. So! May I also suggest pushing the sweet elements of your existing scent to the extreme? Your everyday scent can be used as the dangerous lure and no one would ever suspect it!!!! You catch more flies with honey than vinegar (albeit figuratively) after all! Does this idea underplay the danger element in practice? Yeah..... but, it'd also probably be the kindest one to implement in real life, haha.

If all of those options sounded really unappealing, you can also try a dusty/musky scent? I've seen some people go with that for a hunter vibe.
