Season 1 trailer analysis,Along side Doll,Uzi,Nori,N and Mystery WD speculations:

Part 2

Note: parts of this were written before and after EP3! So some of my speculation changed! I’ll leave a tiny edit when my thoughts have changed! I’ll post soon my breakdown on EP3,which is highly connected to this post

Ok so something that I want to brought your attention to is Uzi’s string theory showed at the end of EP2.

Entire board

First thing we notice is the insane amount of AS symbols,this clearly shows Uzi developing an obsession with the AS. We can also see drawings,notes written by Uzi and newspapers.

Speaking of newspaper,they offer a lot.

The first one unfortunately no one was able to figure out what is saying but the next ones some were able to figure out.

This one contains the headline:

“STRANGE DRONES FOUND”

Now a lot of people think this has to do with the AS,which could be true but am leaning more of the discovery of the DDs that arrived at copper 9, AKA when J,V,N first landed on the exoplanet.

The reason why I think this is the case because it uses “DRONES” not “DRONE”.

It’s plural.

Now yes this could mean the AS manifested in multiple WDs but I personally think it leans more at the arrival of the DDs.

The second one is blurry as fuck but thankfully other people could figure it out, the headline say:

“GRAVITATIONAL FORCES DETECTED- SITE 48”

Gravitational forces you say,huh? Now this could perfectly be another way of saying telekinesis

And since we saw Doll,a WD with the AS who has telekinetic abilities. Could she had been the one behind the forces detected at site 48? We can’t discard anything.

Or could it be a random WD with the AS? Maybe one from a different colony?

Or what of there was a third option?

Ladies and Gentlemen and Non-Binary hoes:

Nori Doorman!

The is no doubt Nori is related to the SA and the DDs,Nori could have gotten infected,but since we don’t know a lot about her,or the details or her death or the timeline of events between;

Uzis creation,Noris death,the AS and the DDs.

Its a bit confusing to make a clear picture of what’s going on.

Regardless her scene in EP2 makes me think it’s implied she has the AS and perhaps even passed it down to her daughter.

As you can see one of her eyes glitches to the AS symbol but also does the visor screen of baby Uzi

[Edit after EP3: I now think Yeva was the one behind the G. Forces at site 48,since her ID card had the number “048” and am convinced that Nori passed the AS to Uzi. Same could be said about the idea of Yeva also passing it down to Doll. EP3 also answered my question on how Nori got infected,she was probably researching the AS or they experimented the AS on her or maybe a bit of both]

Another thing to mention is Nori’s scar? This was pointed out by @enigmaticmoonshine

Also another thing to mention,Nori was carrying baby Uzi,right? Well a detail I noticed is that baby uzi had the “UNTRAINED NEUTRAL NETWORK” sign on it,I think baby drones carry this when they are recently created,we also saw this sign in the pilot on another baby drone.

Despite this in Uzi’s family pic,found in Khan’s office,we can see baby Uzi,tho it’s unclear if she still had the sign ,as this can indicate if Nori was alive some time after Uzi was recently created (that can give us more or less a point in the timeline) but I can’t make it out since Khan is covering baby Uzi with his hand. Also Khan looks slightly younger as you can see less wrinkles.

Edit: After looking closely,yeah in the pick baby Uzi still has the sign,so unfortunately this doesn’t help a lot with the timeline. Also I might be wrong about the sign. Baby drone could carry it for the rest of their lives until they reach a certain age to pass their AI to a WDs body.

Edit: hey so there is this theory I found that says that Khan may be hiding a scar or wound under his sweater,as he is the only WD wearing one,and since Nori has a crack on her body,could this be connected? Could it be a scar Khan gained from a struggle between Nori? Or the DD that killed Nori? I didn’t know if to include this since unfortunately I cannot find the creator of this theory,and I wanna bring this theory up again in my future analyses. So if anyone knows the creator,let me know pls

Some people have mentioned that Nori could be this lil fella; The Mystery WD (but for now I’ll nickname her “R”,based on a theory made by @echologname )

I personally don’t think she is Nori or Doll,as they don’t seem to resemble her in my opinion

Also Doll is a highschooler (I speculate she and the other students are around 16-18 Y.O.) But nothing is confirmed) and the DD’s trio is heavily implied to be adults or straight up confirmed in Ns case (gonna talk about that in another post) after they arrived at Copper-9

And plus R doesn’t resemble a lot to Doll,as for Nori?Yeah the age can match up but not so much by physical appearance in my opinion

I actually did some drawings based on how she possibly looks! All of this is based off that one scene of her lol

What I could gather for her posible character desing is that:

1: She has silver hair like J,N and V

2: she has pastel yellow P. Color

3: Her hair is parted to the right

4: she has 2 bangs ending with ties (tho in my drawing instead of ties they are bows)

5: she has a tight low ponytail

6: She has a big bow on her left side,resembling that to Tessa’s (James’s Daughter) look,since Tessa also wore a big bow on her left side.

So remember how I mentioned her P. Color is pastel yellow? The same as the DDs P. Color?

And did you notice how in J’s,V’s and N’s past as WDs had a white P. Color???

I personally think R could be the AS origin,since it’s implied that Tessa saved her from a dump and brought her to the mansion,and there is theory going around; that James could be the head of the company (bc James starts with “J” and you know,the company is called JCJenson) tho despite I think this is plausible,I feel like he could simply be an important unit to the company,not necessarily being the head of it. Or he became the head of the company way later.

I feel like after R was brought,something horrible definitely happened,because of R,the AS was discovered and thats how the DDs came to be.

[Edit after EP3: its practically impossible for Doll to be R,and also the episodes just makes my idea of R being some sort of “patient 0”. Or the idea I had of the people experimenting on WDs and the AS makes me go brrr]

Also am I the only one who got sus vibes from N in EP2? The guy acted if he knew more than he lets on,like when Uzi asked him how he regrew his head back in the pilot,but he simply brushed it off. How he just vanished in the middle of the fight against Eldritch J

And going back to Nori for a lil bit,do you guys remember what the AS said using Nori’s hologram?

“It hurts our feelings you don’t remember us”

Of course this line could be directed to Uzi to toy with her feelings,kinda saying like “Its hurts me that you don’t remember me,your own mother” Or the AS could be saying it as in “It hurts that you didn’t realize we are a part of you now” (or perhaps the AS was in Uzi since she was an infant)

[Edit after EP3: again am 99.9% sure Uzi’s AS had it since she was created,since Nori passed it down to her]

But of courses my stupid brain also realized this could be directed to N, you know going like “like we are literally inside of you dumbass” or like “Don’t you remember our existence? Your past?”

A lil funny idea I had what if R is the AS??? Like the program talking and controlling Eldritch J? But thats just a crack idea

I also have more ideas going on about N,J,Eldritch J and Nori but that will be for my EP3 post! (Tho its about the whole possibility of N being the one killed Nori,but honestly even am not the biggest fan of that theory)

I- I see this happening. Etho when he shows up in caffe for the first time he just finds the most quiet and hidden corner and sits there. As much as he loves black coffee it’s actually not the first one he orders! He asks Bdubs for a recommendation, he mentions he likes black coffee but is like. y'know i haven't been here before i might as well try something you have to offer… Bdubs gayass brain is already turned on because. HAVE YOU SEEN THIS GUY! THE GUY IN FRONT OF HIM! HOLY SHIT HE'S SO PRETTY WHAT!!!!!!!!!!! Bdubs is glad Etho didn’t give him exact order because he would fuck it up v badly. 

So he goes to prepare the coffee, but first; he almost starts screaming. He's flushed. His face is literally a tomato.  Ren looks at him and acts surprised like it has never happened before…….. But then Bdubs realizes he forgot to ask him for a name to put on his cup. Well fuck- (BONUS POINTS IF HE WROTE “emo boy :)” THERE..... IT’D BE SO FUCKING FUNNY..............) He draws a little butterfly :) He likes butterflies :) Etho doesn’t have to know it yet :)

But hey after all Etho did enjoy his coffee! And he even showed up another day again! Win for Bdubs’ gay ass !!!1 And that time he actually asked for the name just to misspell it immediately  yes he wrote “eefo” .. 

So yeah Etho was showing up like every two days or so- Bdubs kept misspelling his name but Etho figured that after a while he was doing it just to annoy him.

Etho’s revenge for misspelling his name was to order the most insane coffee in the world. Bdubs had to write it down because he knew there was no way for him to remember this shit. And afterwards he wrote Epoo on the cup:)

You didn’t think you could ever even think about changing jobs. At least, that’s what was running through your head as you scratched under the chin of a rather cheerful mutt. His owner was looking relieved in the corner of the room, a tough, hard-ass biker man who had literally driven his good boy here in the sidecar of his motorcycle. He had been twiddling his fingers and playing with the rings looped around said fingers the entire appointment.

His mutt had been struggling through some kind of allergic reaction, something that was often a problem around this time of the year. Luckily, the dog had perked right up after a steroid shot. Currently, his little tail was wagging so hard that his entire body was wiggling in barely contained glee and affection.

“His eyes and nose should clear up in about two hours. Call us back if it doesn’t or if he seems like he did before and we can give him something a bit stronger.” You said, finally snapping off the nitrile gloves and disposing of them in a nearby bin.

“Thank you. Is there anything else I should be looking out for?” The man, Beckket, you remembered, asked worriedly. The sight made your heart melt. The love and care that pet owners had for their companions never failed to make you unreasonably elated.

“I don’t believe so. Most allergies in mutts show in their eyes and noses, along with their dispositions. I would suggest to just keep an eye out for swelling or itchiness and don’t hesitate to call us if you need. If you’re all ready to go, Jenny can check you out at the front desk.” You said. Giving the mutt one last good pat on his hindquarters, you helped him off the examination table and handed off the leash to Beckket.

“Thanks Doc, you’re a lifesaver.” Beckket breathed out a small sigh of relief as his happy pooch sidled up against him, begging for a few more good pats.

“Have a good rest of your day.” You answered cheerfully and followed them out of the room. The day was just about finished up and you wanted to double check with sweet Jenny about your appointments tomorrow.

To your utter surprise, the wait room was not empty when you returned. There, in the corner, was a surly looking man. Lean muscles corded through his arms, showcased by the black tank top tucked into a baggy pair of cargo pants. A heated glare had settled over his features, a few little scars peppering his open skin, visible from across the room. His hair was shockingly silver for a man who seemed so young.

Honestly, he would have terrified you, had his entire appearance not been offset by a very content white kitten, curled happily on one of his shoulders. The cute little thing looked perfectly content with their owner and you were sure that if you were closer to the shady corner, little purrs would have been audible.

“Hey, doc. Um, I know that you’re only here for like, another half hour, but would you mind one more quick appointment? Crosshair over there in the corner was wondering.” Jenny asked. She was still somewhat new to the job, but she had an innate love for animals that you could have spotted from a mile away and was as smart as a whip. You had no doubt that she would be employed as an actual vet here, if not somewhere else, eventually.

“Crosshair?” You glanced back over to the corner and noticed the telltale tattoo over the man’s eye. At your attention, the man gave a slow nod.

“Uh, yeah. That’s all he introduced himself by.” Jenny answered. She turned back to Beckket to continue checking him out. Beckket must have gotten the same shady vibes from the man because he was giving you the “do you want me to stay” look. You gave him a small smile and a little shake of the head.

You operated out of a sketchy corner on a low income street. But your clientele was loyal. Scary, yes, but loyal. Like a bartender who served their drinks, you took care of their babies and for that, they acted very protectively.

“I can always take one more. What are you making the appointment for, Mr. Crosshair?” You called out across the room. The man perked up at his name slightly, nearly mimicking the kitten on his shoulder that suddenly stood up.

“Got a new cat.” Was all he offered. His voice was smooth, confident. Like he belonged in a shadowy corner of a bar, lounging about with a glass of whiskey while he watched everything move around him.

“And you want to get them checked out? Vaccines? Tags?” You asked. His explanation wasn’t very forthcoming.

“I don’t know. What do most people do when they get a cat?” He said. The words themselves might have sounded harsh or sarcastic, but the way he said them made it sound genuinely curious.

“If you’ll follow me back to the room, I can explain and give them a check up.” You offered. Beckket softly interrupted to say a “goodbye, take care, Doc.” Before he shouldered out the door and the door’s golden bell jingled merrily to announce his departure.

“Thank you, doctor…” he trailed off expectantly.

“Name’s on the door, or you can just call me Doc like every other person who walks through that door. Is Crosshair an actual name or some kind of street thing you’re trying to make happen?” You asked. Gently, you held out your hands to take the sweet kitten from him.

Crosshair was silent for a couple of pregnant seconds, his eyes slowly surveying you. Measuring you up or trying to read your mind, you couldn’t really tell.

“I served. I was a damn good sniper and my brothers convinced me to get this tattoo when I got piss drunk one night. The name stuck.” He finally said. It honestly made sense. A lot of people in the area had served or were currently getting recruited. It was a rough spot and a lot of them thought that the military was the only way out. You couldn’t really agree, but you also couldn’t exactly argue. A lot of people were already fighting their own battles and the thought that the bad guys out there would be painted a certain color must be a nice thought.

You just offered a tight nod and smile. There wasn’t really something you could offer in response. “I’m sorry” or “how nice” weren’t really applicable responses.

The fluffy kitten was slowly offered. You took that as a little olive branch and you tenderly accepted them. Calloused fingers brushed against yours before sliding away, leaving a furry bundle of joy behind.

You sat down in your office chair and tenderly brought the kitten down into your lap. With practiced ease, you turned them over to check for a gender and tickled her belly. Soft paws batted at your fingers with inexperienced claws. Luckily, you were ready and flipped her back over.

“Does she have a name yet?” You asked, feeling up the scruff of her neck for any potential chips. After feeling nothing, you smoothed her pelt back down and clicked on an empty document on your computer to begin a profile.

“Kat.” Crosshair mumbled. His eyes watched your every move harshly. Fortunately, you were well practiced by now with scary people watching you and continued on without flinching.

“Cat?” You asked to double check before going to type it in.

“Kat. With a K.” Crosshair said. You quickly filled it in, along with her gender and a couple of other tick marks.

“She doesn’t have a chip. Did you get her from a breeder or did you pick her up as a stray?” You said. He shrugged his shoulders jerkily.

“I was just walking one day and then she… she was just there. Couldn’t get rid of her, so I eventually let her in.” He responded. Something had tended up about his posture the moment you had taken Kat from him. Recognizing this quickly, you rolled your chair forward towards the one that he had plopped down into and offered her back.

The reverence that he brought the fluffy silver kitten back to his chest nearly melted your heart. Kat gave a happy little “brrrmrow” as he tucked back in against his tank top.

“Most of this checkout will be a debriefing then. If you want to, we can get all the necessary vaccinations and stuff covered today, or you can come back later in the week at no extra charge. I can just see it as part of this one. Sounds good?” You asked, gleefully pushing off the ground so you could roll backwards towards your little desk. The small swoosh of your lab coat made your heart dance. Fuck, you loved your job.

At Crosshair’s nod, you continued.

“Alright, so I’m going to print off a list of these vaccines that I would recommend that she get along with an explanation of what they protect against. Feel free to research them all you want if it makes you feel better. Along with that, I’m assuming that you’re a first time owner?” You asked. Crosshair nodded again. His lithe fingers smoothed through Kat’s pelt, stopping every once in a while to knead at her ears and shoulders.

“We’re probably going to have to chip her too so she can be identified. If you want, I can send you home with some information and tips that I would recommend you know?” You figured he would need it. It was a long time ago, but you remembered the first time you had gotten a pet. You didn’t know how to care for it or where to start looking and so many sources conflicted with each other. Not knowing what was best for your pet was distressing at best and it was nice to have a trusted source tell you face to face what would work.

“That would be great, Doc.” Crosshair nodded. His eyes held something akin to relief the more you spoke. You turned back to your computer to bring up the necessary files and send them to the printer that resided next to Jenny’s desk.

“Do you want me to knock out some of the stuff today or do you want to go home and figure out a game plan for what you want with Kat?” You asked. Really, you could only recommend things, you would never demand. As much as it hurt sometimes, you couldn’t order your patient’s owners to do something.

Crosshair thought for a moment. He glanced between Kat and yourself for a few seconds before briefly peeking at the analogue clock. A little smirk crooked the corner of his mouth and it ashamed you to admit that look made something in your stomach stir.

“I won’t keep you any longer today, Doc. I appreciate all the reading material you’re sending me home with tonight.” He said. You stole a glance and realized that he must have been listening in on your conversation with Jenny. Your shift was up in approximately two minutes.

Crosshair stood up with a slight groan that made that little feeling return before he stuck out his hand expectantly. It took a slow second, but you realized what he wanted and rose to meet him. His grip was firm as he shook your hand.

“Thanks again, Doc.” He said before turning to the door. You realized with a little pang of affection that Kat had crawled her way back up to his shoulder and was balancing pretty well curled around the back of his neck and shoulder as he walked.

“It’s not problem. Jenny will be at the front to schedule another appointment and will cover all charges. All the information is free. Don’t hesitate to call in if something’s confusing or if you have any questions.” You told him as you ushered him out of the door.

As soon as he left, you turned back around to your computer and primly unclipped a pen from your lab coat pocket to bring to your patient journal. It was locked inside your private desk and only Jenny really knew about it.

You didn’t know how unorthodox it was to keep a journal of your patients, but you prided yourself off keeping your personal relationships with your patients and their owners amiable. Since you weren’t always the best with people and remembering details about them, the journal really came in handy.

At the top of a brand new set of pages you scrawled out “Crosshair and Kat” before filling in what you could tell from your first meeting.

"Nah, not everybody." She shrugs.

This is pre-The Heist, Jackie is alive and well and laughs all the time. Val is canon V, she’ll make the heist, she’ll get a certain brain parasite. And Vince is a nomad as in prologue, will become a merc. I needed this! Not just to indroduce Val and Vince - but it was wholesome af writing with Jackie’s alive and without thinking about Johnny in Val’s head.

It's been over a week now, since Vince and Jackie crossed the border of Night City. Jackie has showed him around Heywood a little, introduced him to a few people and told him about the different gangs, districts and legends of Night City. Told him way to much stuff, Vince isn't able to remember everything. But Jackie seems pretty euphoric so he certainly wouldn't mind retelling something, if Vince asks about it.

It's early evening and they are at the Coyote Cojo, the bar owned by Jackie's mother, not the first time this week. Jackie wants to introduce him to some more people, but they still have time. So they're sitting at one end of the counter, drinking beer. Pepe, the bartender joins their conversation between serving other costumers. Vince doesn't pay to much attention and he looks around the bar. Mixed crowed, some workmen in overalls drinking beer, a man in a fancy suit makes a phone call, some punks around the pool table and a few Valentinos. The local gang, Vince could remember that much.

Then the door opens and a woman enters the Coyote Cojo. Vince eyes her. He would guess she's in his age, but that's hard to tell. Especially here in Night City, since people using way more chrome and cosmetic surgery than out in the Badlands. Her pink-purple hair is in thick cornrows and while walking she pulls of her aviators and puts them in front of the top she's wearing under her open jacket. The neckline's pulled down a little and Vince can see a tattoo at he chest.

Vince can't hear them over the loud music, but two Valentinos at a table near the door are calling out while waving her over. She walks over to them, swaying her hips, a wide smile on her face. She greats the first with a kiss on both cheeks and a little hug. He pulls her closer with on hand on her lower back and leans down to whisper something in her ear. She pulls back with a cheeky grin and winks at the man before turning around to great the other. They kiss on both cheeks as well and during the following hug one of his hands moves down to her butt, clad in very short hot pants.

As Vince looks around a little, he can see other people watching the woman. One of the punks at the pool table nudges his choom with an elbow, points at her for a moment and tells him something, a naughty grin on his face. Jackie, sitting with his back to the door, hasn't noticed her yet and is still talking to Pepe, not realizing Vince's not listening anymore. Then the woman walks over to the counter and Pepe's attention is drawn to her. "Hermana!" Pepe greets her cheerfully and Jackie turns around. "Look who's that. Hey chica!"

Val laughs. "Always feels like coming home!" She looks from Pepe to Jackie with a wide smile. Then her eyes are on the man with dark short hair and tanned skin sitting on a stool next to Jackie. Jackie stands up and she looks at him again. "Well, it is kinda home, isn't it?" Pepe smiles at her from behind the counter. Jackie hugs her enthusiastically, lifting her up as he does so. She giggles and pats him on the back with a hand with long purple fingernails. "It's okay Jack. I love you, too." She kisses him on the cheek and Jackie puts her down with a chuckle. "Oh, that evil word, startin' with 'l'." Val boxes him playfully against the arm. "Shut up!" But she's still laughing.

Then she looks past Jackie at Vince. "So, that's your nomad?" She eyes him for a moment, gaze drawn to his deep blue eyes. He has a few piercings and a scar on his left cheek, partly covered by his full beard. Her gaze trails down his neck, following the ink down to his chest. Oh, he's handsome. Jackie chuckles, steps next to Vince and pats him on the shoulder. "Yeah, V this's Vince. Vince tha..." "Oh, just stop the formalities!" Val interrupts him, again giggling and moves closer to pull Vince, who still sits on a stool, down in a soft hug.

Vince stills a moment, opens his mouth, closes it again and returns the embrace with one arm. Jackie chuckles and sits down again. "Nice to meet ya." Val says still hugging Vince and he can feel her breath against his neck. "Eh, same." He answers hesitant and pats her back a little. He can smell her, no idea what she smells like, but damn, she smells good. Val releases Vince after what feels like ages to him and leans her back against the counter between the two men.

She glances at Vince for another moment. "So that's the guy you haven't even planned to pay..." She looks up to Jackie. "...and now he's your roomie?" She raises her eyebrows in amusement. Jackie chuckles and runs his hand through the back of his neck. "Well, when we first met my gun was on your head." And he puts a finger gun against Val's temple. She shakes her head giggling. "Yeah and then you took me home. Be careful that this doesn't become a habit." She looks at Vince for a second before she says to Jackie: "Ya didn't told me he's cute."

Jackie laughs out loud and Vince looks back and forth between him and Val confused, slightly blushing. "Chica, you think everybody's cute... or handsome or hot." Jackie looks down at Val smirking. "Nah, not everybody." She shrugs and looks at Vince who just blushed a little but is kinda stunned, holds his beer bottle, avoiding her gaze. "Oh, you're blushing!" Val looks at him with beaming eyes. "That's adorable." She smirks. Jackie boxes her playfully against the shoulder. "Chica, stop teasing him."

Pepe puts a bottle of beer on the counter behind Val. "For you, hermana." Val turns around, cocking an eyebrow. "From you?" She grins at Pepe. He laughs and shakes his head. "From your 'Tino friends." He nods towards the two Valentinos Val's greeted after entering the Coyote Cojo. She take the bottle, turns around again to lean at the counter. With a cheeky grin she raises the bottle a little and blows a kiss before taking a sip.

Jackie sighs and shakes his head in amusement. "Ya ever have to pay for your drinks, chica?" Val answers without looking at him, still smirking at the Valentinos who're looking at her. "Here? Never." She takes another sip, obviously pleased with herself. "In other bars... rarely." She shrugs. Jackie chuckles and she looks up at him with a cheeky grin. "You're just jealous Jack." "Can't deny that." Jackie takes a sip of his own beer.

Vince has used the conversation between Jackie and Val to take a closer look at her. Her eyes are bright green, she has a lot piercings, even more than he has. And freckles at nose and cheeks. But no cyberware in her face, just at her neck. And she has a smile, no a smirk on her lips and a spark in her eyes all the time.

"Anyway." She steps away from the counter. "I've biz." "Yeah, we're meetin' some people, too." Jackie looks at her. "What are ya up to?" Val shrugs. "Kirk wants to talk 'bout somethin'." "Kirk?" Jackie raises his eyebrows. "You do biz with 'im?" He sounds a bit worried. Val smirks. "Last time I met you. Not a bad outcome." But Jackie shakes his head. "I'll just go and talk to him, let's see what he wants. Can still decide about it then." She shrugs.

"Be careful, chica." Jackie sounds sincere. "You, too." Val puts an hand on one of Jackie's shoulders and kisses him on his cheek. Vince eyes are on her dark purple lips and his stomach clenches... "Take care of your nomad." Val winks at Vince before turning around. "See ya!" She waves to the men and heads for the stairs.

Vince takes a deep breath. Jackie looks at him with a giggle. "I know, V is a lot. But she's the best!" He pats him on the shoulder. "She eyed me like she wants to eat me up." Vince takes a sip to avoid Jackies eyes. Jackie chuckles again. "Well, she probably wants to." Vince turns his head to look at Jackie in disbelief, who just laughs again. "Just relax, mano. V likes to flirt and enjoys herself. But she's a great friend - and a good merc." Jackie takes a sip. "You'll like her." "Yeah..." Vince answers with low voice, avoiding Jackie gaze. But Jackie still notices that Vince is blushing slightly. "Oh, you DO like her!" He sounds excited.

So, I worked on Valentin's backstory and wrote it down. Also added some facts/ideas about his personality and what he likes and dislikes.

This is just a concept, so it's not really good or anything and I'm also pretty insecure about it, so please don't reblog this.

But if anyone wants to read about my boy, here you go.

Backstory:

• He was born into a relatively wealthy family and lived with his parents in South California until he was 18

• He was lucky enough to be able to go to school

• He has always been a smart boy. Always getting good grades. His parents and teachers constantly told him he had a bright future ahead of him.

• But he never quite fit in. Never found many friends, and when he finally did for once, they either ended up leaving him, lying to him, manipulating him or betraying him in the worst ways possible.

• He was bullied in his teen years... never undestood why, but he just figured he was the problem. They just attacked him for anything he was doing. Even if he was just sitting there, they'd spit on him, punch him or laugh at him. And whenever he tried to do something about it, things just got worse. So he just stopped trying and let them do whatever they want to him.

• All this lead to a lot of supressed anger. He was so angry at them. At the world, for doing him so dirty. At himself for all the things they made him believe he did wrong.

• People hating him for who he was, for existing, completely broke him. Their words made him believe he was a bad person. And then he kinda started acting like it. Like a bad person, so people hating on him would be justified. After all they had taught him how to betray and manipulate.

• In a fucked up way it gave him comfort back then. A sense of identity and control. But in reality he just fucked up every relationship he had left and felt even more miserable in the end. Ended up all alone.

• All this was too much for him. He started cutting and had suicidal thoughts (He was able to leave the self harming behind eventually, but every now and then when something goes wrong in his life, the thought of doing it again pops up in his head. Nowadays he just tries to drown the thoughts in alcohol when the thoughts get too loud).

• He also searched comfort in meaningless sex and drugs/alcohol. Just wanted to forget and numb himself. This pain and deep feeling of loneliness and emptiness inside him were too much to take and well, he tried to fill that void somehow.

• Besides all this, he still somehow managed to graduate.

• He wanted a new start and wanted to leave everything else behind, so he moved to Night City to study shortly after he turned 18.

• He changed his name to V cause Valentin reminded him too much of his past and of what he so desperately wanted to leave beind (he allows close friends to call him that tho)

• He then focused on his career, studied, got a job at Arasaka and even managed to work his way up by manipulating and betraying, and some other bad shit...

• He actually managed to build up a new life there in Night City. Got to start all over again, try all the things the corpo life had to offer. And with working for Arasaka he had many possibilities. Everything went finally somehow good for him. Or at least he thought so at first. He had money, got a bit of respect and whatever else. But soon he realized working for Arasaka was a fucking lonely life. By far not as bright as he had imagined. And it was fucked up too. Kinda had to sacrifice his soul to survive in that world.

• He saw and knew about all the bad shit going on behind closed doors. How people were lying to each other, backstabbing each other, just to make more money or get promoted. Or how people were exploited... or even just used as the others pleased. And the worst thing: as much as all this disgusted him and as much as it went against what was left of his morals, he either just looked away or even took part in all this treachery and their sickening behaviour. It was fucked up, but well, he did what he had to do. He hated himself so much for it, but he had no choice if he wanted to keep what was left of his life. Probably couldn't do much about it anyways.

• And of course his past was still haunting him. As much as he tried to forget, the things that had happened, the things he did to become so successful... they left deep scars on his soul.

• And well... then everything went to shit

• He blamed Arasaka for it. He got so fucking angry, cause they took away what he had worked so hard for. The only thing that gave him some sense of purpose in life. Smashed his life and future to pieces and there was nothing he could do about it. He wanted to see them suffer and burn for what they did to him.

• And now he hated himself even more for what has happened, cause it was all for nothing. He finally realized how fucked up he actually was. The guilt was suffocating him.

• He knew it was time for a change. And this time he'd do the right thing. Make the right choices. Try to be a better person. Kinda try to right his wrongs.

Personality:

• He hates being alone, but also has a hard time trusting people due to what he experienced in the past... this guy definitely has abandonment issues and trust issues. That makes any kind of relationship very difficult for him. He still tries very hard tho.

• He kinda has 3 sides:

1) Feral ferret: funny, horny, seemingly happy, joking, full of life and love. That's the side he shows most of the time. This side of him is him finally becoming himself again after completely losing himself trying to reach something that he could never reach. He's slowly finding his new identity, is trying out new things, doing chaotic shit he never got to try out in his fucked up past. And most of all he tries to be a better person.

2) Killing mode: His serious, professional, badass side. When he enters killing mode, he blocks out everything irrelevant and only focuses on his mission. Makes sure he makes no mistakes (all remains from working for Arasaka). And even if he'd never ever admit it... he likes the violence and the thrill he gets from it...

3) His sad/depressed/broken/traumatized side: He rarely ever shows this side of him (at least not to most people). His past haunts him. He hates himself for the things he did, hates himself for disappointing friends or even himself in the past. The memories of being treated like shit and getting hurt over and over again also sometimes come flashing back into his mind and he wishes this would just stop and he could forget.

• He can go from quirky and joking to killing mode or sad mode in less than a second -> PARCOUR 😎🤦🏻‍♀️

What he likes:

• Junkfood. Lots and lots of junkfood. Especially cheeseburgers or pizza or anything with cheese in general

• He loves fucking. This man is like constantly horny and he will do it anywhere anytime he gets the chance to.

• He loves taking funny, cute and pretty pics and is actually quite proud of the photos he takes

• He loves to just do chaotic, fun or dumb shit. It's kinda like a coping mechanism for him

• He likes just stopping for a while and watching the sunrise/sunset or admire the landscape. Especially at the beach or somewhere out of the rush and mess that the city is. Back when he still worked for Arasaka he didn't have time for things like this. It was all just work, work, work.

What he doesn't like:

• being alone

• things getting out of control

• the song "pon pon shit". He hates it with a burning passion and honestly, when it comes on on the radio he just wants to yeet his car off the road...

Other stuff:

• Chaos boi

• His spirit animal is a feral ferret

• Bisexual

• He can cloverleaf his tongue and wiggle it all weirdly. Good for either impressing people or creeping them out.

• That being said, he knows exactly how to use his tongue to make his partner feel real good and cry out his name 😏

• This man got a huge suit kink. If he sees a hot man or a sexy lady in a suit, he loses all ability to think clearly

• He loves wearing suits, and dress shirts.

Patch is covering a shift so he is NOT off as originally expected

She goes to take the high heels off and drops the list of interrogation questions and patch picks it up and I am nervous

Unfortunately I think this book would be so much more interesting if I didn’t already know that patch was a fallen angel and I don’t know if that’s my bad for trying to fine just like a quick summary of what the book was about on the Internet, or if like the back of the book let you know that this is about an angel… I mean the cover let you know it’s about an angel but I would’ve thought these dudes are like…serial killers or something and that Nora had some kind of mental issue or they had messed with her iron supplements to make her go nuts…Which might’ve been more interesting than whatever is going on here

Chapter 15

Nora finally tells V about the article and v doesn’t believe her

Nora thinks that she has a great point because Elliot transferred schools after he was questioned… I’m sure it was really hard to keep going to school with people who knew you were a murder suspect...so…

Nora wants to go to kinghorn and question the students about elliott

The fact that this all somehow ties back to fallen angels is really pissing me off because we are halfway through it, and we have not even really from Nora’s point of you introduced the idea of Angels

Nora is suddenly like why the fuck is Jules always sick

Also how is he always around if kinghorn is such a difficult school

Nora realizes the article that she printed about Elliot was missing from her room after the ski mask guy broke in so now she is convinced Skimask guy is Elliot

I will say that I have absolutely no idea where this is going so it is keeping my attention because again I don’t understand how this is going to tie back to angels and why the girl died and etc.

Coach makes V and Patch switch places

She goes to her appointment with Miss Green and somehow Miss Green knows that patch took her home from the pier and that patch went into her house what the fuck is going on

I really really really hope that all of this weird shit comes together in the last like five chapters and I end up like screaming OH DUH putting all this together… But because this was recommended as part of my cringe series, I have a very strong feeling that is not going to happen and all of this means nothing

Chapter 16

Nora runs into Marcy at the library and basically Marcy says V got attacked because someone mistake her for a bear or a moose because she’s fat, and then they have a name calling back-and-forth of skank, slut, anorexic pig like real vile shit

Nora goes to the underground tunnel to get to the parking lot even though...she didn’t drive…

Patch is in the tunnel

She is so infuriating, she’s getting ready for this date but thinking about kissing him rather than thinking about getting answers on if this dude is stalking her / reading her mind...it’s so frustrating

So in chapter 18 she is saying she would settle for finding his cell phone number but...she called him at Boze arcade in like the third chapter so what number was that, did you not write it down once you washed it off your hand, or was that the arcades phone... why do you not have his phone number anymore

During her childhood, Karina was a very lonely and kind of aggresive kid. She lived in a little village a little far away from school, so she didn’t have friends there. Also kids usually teased her about her birthmarks, so that didn’t help neither.

After her grandmother passing away, she tried to do everything she could to make her proud. She went to a University cos it was what her grandmother always wanted. Also, as soon as she started using make-up, the first thing she did was hiding her birthmarks with it. She continued doing that until she met the crusaders in Singapore.

In SO, she’s a very minor chara. She just appeared at the SPW foundation when she found out that Rosa was trying to help Jolyne. She’s worried, and doesn’t want to lose her daughter as she lost a lot of dear people.

★ Karina’s family

Rafaella met Caesar in the spring before the events of BT.

Messina found her and little baby Mina in March 1939 and decided to take care of them. 

At first, he tried to teach Mina Hamon, but she wasn’t very good at it.

When Mina was 17, she and her mother, traveled to Spain, since Mina wanted to study there.

In Madrid, she met Juan, and even if at first they didn’t get along that well cos he looked so intimidating even if he’s a cinnamon roll lol, they end up falling in love.

When Mina finished her degree, she and Rafaella moved to Asturias, where Juan lived. In 1962, Juan and Mina got married, and in 1964 her little bby Karina was born.

In 1981, when Karina is 17, Rafaella died because of an illness.

After BT: Not so much changes. He stop using headbands, although Joseph gave him a new one for the one he burned lol. Also, no more crop tops for him, because he doesn’t want to show the many scars he has on his torso and back due to his fight against Wamuu. Not cos he’s ashamed of them, at the contrary, he thinks about them as a reminder of what happens when you’re too full of yourself, but cos he knows that they aren’t very pleasing to the eye. At 25 he starts using glasses for reading.

SDC: Unlike Joseph, he continues his Hamon training. He looks way younger than he really is. Some people even thought that he was Billie’s brother instead of her dad lol.

DiU: After meeting his granddaughter and especially his great grandchildren, he decided to stop his Hamon training, so he started to age more normally even if still he looks  a bit younger.

SO: He died in between the events of VA and SO. He’s not inmortal like Joseph.

★ Billie Joestar

Billie was a 5 y-o  orphan girl who just escaped from the orphanage and found Joseph and Caesar in the street. At first they started to try to look for her parents, but after spending all the day in that, she told them the truth. Caesar wanted to notify the police, but Joseph refused, and could persuade him, saying that at that late hour probs they would make her stay the night in the police station, so she stayed with them this night, with the promise that next morning they would notify the police and return her to the orphanage. At the end, they both became too fond of her, also, both know perfectly how is being alone at  early age, so they decided that maybe they could adopt her. And they did, under Joseph’s name cos it would be easy and better for her cos his heritage and renown after all. So, Billie gained two loving dorks fathers and soon she will gain a sweet mom and a little sister.

★ AvKari kids

The oldest child and the responsible one.

She tries to be the voice of reason of her brothers, and sometimes can be a bit bossy.

She’s very independent since early age and is happy that her parents are proud of it.

-Nassif

A ball full of energy.

He is very active and Joseph is a bad influece, a very bad influence...

As soon as he starts knowing how to control his stand, he would use it for playing, and even pranking. Rosa would try to stop him tho.

He was a bit jealous of his little brother cos he thought that his mom loved him more.

Avdol and Karina thought that since the first children have a spanish and an arabic name, he should have another one, something neutral.

No, he is not named after anyone in particular, b-baka.

Also, no, that anyone didn’t tear up a little when knowing it, nor Joseph would make fun of him forever for that.

The only one with greenish-brown eyes. People usually call him cat-eyes.

★ AvKari kids’ stands

Rosa’s stand: Karma Chameleon Powers: She can control and change the density of things, except of living beings. For that, she can either change the mass making it heavier or lighter, or either change the volume compressing or expanding the object, but she can’t change both properties at once.

Nassif’s stand: Word Up! Powers: He can manipulate strong magnetic energies, being his hands like an actual magnet, that can attract every kind of metalic material.

Anthonio’s stand: Black Hole Sun Powers: He can control and shape shadows, and even creating living beings from them. This creatures are very sensitve to sun light, a prolongues exposition to it can destroy them. Also, their individual strenght depends on how many of them are created, since the total power of the stand is divided equally between them.

ok, my tips are!!:

draw as much as possible! even if it’s just lines and shapes with no meaning, you’re still developing your hand/eye skills

BUT: dont draw if you’re not feeling it! if you’re feeling fried, it’s better to take a break. go on a walk to somewhere scenic, read your favorite book, listen to some new music, hang out with friends, or just take a nap! rest up and find some inspiration! you can come back to your sketchbook when you feel energized again

draw stuff that you like! you’ll improve way faster if you’re passionate about what you’re doing

look at art you like with a critical eye. try to examine the different components and figure out what you think works or doesn’t work. try incorporation those components into your own work

read a lot of tutorials and other resources, but take what they say with a grain of salt

ultimately, remember that the only real rule to drawing is that doing it should make you happy

that sure sounds like insomnia! its almost hard for me to say tbh, bc ive had trouble sleeping for as long as i can remember, so NOT having trouble sleeping is bizarre and unrealistic to me haha... but i think the bottom line is, if its interrupting your daily routine and making it hard for you to have enough energy, then its something you should look into remedies for!

my biggest tip honestly?? have someone who can be by your side to help you with... basically everything... during your recovery. bc trust me, i was n o t  a v a i l a b l e. i spent a lot of my recovery playing 2048 at the same time as watching tv, bc doing both at once distracted me from how much the bandages itched.
