Why I like them: My love!! I went into FDTD already a fan of Madie’s but Kate quickly became one my fave characters!! I love that she’s so small and cute but will absolute wreck you if you mess with her or someone she cares about!! lmfao She’s so fierce when she needs to be and doesn’t take shit from anyone, but she’s also so nurturing and forgiving and I think we all need a little of that in our lives. Absolute sunshine, not to be taken for granted.

Why I don’t: Sometimes she goes a little too far tbh. She doesn’t know when or how to say no. It’s not that I don’t like that about her, but it absolutely gets her into situations that could otherwise be avoided.

Favorite episode (scene if movie): Again season 2 episode 1!! I love how she sasses Seth in that episode. lol

Favorite season/movie: Hmm... maybe season 1.

Favorite line: “...So you’re gonna put this car into drive, and you’re gonna step on that pedal, or I’m gonna Bible-thump your ass all the way back to Kansas! NOW!” LMFAOOO

Favorite outfit: I think her black American Eagle jacket and jeans with the black boots outfit has become so attributable to her character in my mind. When I think of Kate she’s wearing either that outfit or the one she wears at the end of s1. I think those are my faves. Also Amaru’s outfit looked totally amazing on Madie!!

OTP: Sethkate obvs

Brotp: I’m gonna go with Kate and Rafa. He was too good!! I totally would ship them romantically too ngl. They were precious together!!

Head Canon: Ugh again with the head canons... lmao I kinda always believed she’d wanna study engineering of some kind if given the chance to go to back and finish school. Everyone always wants to make her a nurse or a teacher or something, and I can totally see that. But I like the idea that she’s interested in how things work. I totally wanna write a mechanic Kate au one of these days.

Unpopular opinion: idk that I have any unpopular opinions about her... She made some questionable decisions in season2, but I forgive her for making me suffer.

A wish: That she hadn’t mf DIED!! BECAUSE I SUFFERED OKAY. WORRYING FOR MONTHS THAT IT HAPPENED TO ME YET AGAIN AND THAT MY FAVE WAS DEAD. Also that she had gotten more screentime in season 3. She barely had a few minutes. It wasn’t fair. And I wish that Richie had owned up to his part in her death.

Why I like them: OMFG I LOVE HIM SO MUCH!! lmao I love that he’s so dedicated to his family. And he LOVES Sheila more than anything, even though she’s become a zombie and her entire personality changes on him and eats people now, but he stays with her and never gives up on her. Even though he’s highkey stressed 100% of the time. :P

Why I don’t: I don’t think there’s anything I don’t like about him tbh??

Favorite episode (scene if movie): Ughhh idk I loved all the episodes tbh. But one of my favorite scenes was in season 3 after he and Eric do the zombie killing training and Eric says “Joel touched me” XD

Favorite season/movie: IDK. Maybe a tie between s1 and s3.

Unpopular opinion: NGL I loved the 2003 anime soooo much more than Brotherhood because they didn’t cut every potentially emotional scene off at the knees with some comedic BS to lighten the mood. The 2003 series really gave the story and characters time it needed, and it really allowed us to get to know the brothers and grow an attachment to those characters. That series just had wayyyy better character development imo and I really grew to love Ed and Al so much because of it!! I haven’t actually read the manga still after all this time. lol I’ve been meaning to.

CMBYN - A look at Armie Hammer’s Oliver

Underneath his pretty exterior, Oliver is actually a man filled with self-doubt, fear, shame and pain. As a viewer, we fall for his looks first, just like Elio does, until he realizes that Oliver is a much more complex character who should not be dismissed over his looks. As this movie unravels, so does Armie’s stoic facade.

After listening to the DVD commentary I love what Timmy said about Armie’s acting at various points during this film. Bottom line: He bares his soul to us.

Not just Oliver’s, but Armie’s soul, too. He exposes every trace of Oliver’s feelings to us. May it be the inner turmoil over their first kiss, the sheer panic after Elio goes cold the morning after the midnight scene or the way he sits at the breakfast table, absentmindedly fiddling with a book in one hand and brushing his fingers over his lips (which had just been on Elio’s cock a couple of hours ago). 

I also love how, at the beginning, we (as viewers) actually fall for Oliver just like Elio does. He is infatuated by Oliver’s cockiness, his arrogance. Elio admires him. That’s why I fucking LOVE the dancing scene. Again, I could write about Timmy’s acting for HOURS - in that scene particularly OMG - but I’ll leave this for another time.

What I love about that scene is how Oliver (Armie) completely loses himself on the dance floor. Absolutely brimming with confidence, this carefree - IDGAF - probably drunk - dancing. I know Armie hated shooting this scene but I fucking LOVED it! 

We often look at Oliver through Elio’s eyes. He is fascinated by this man who drinks apricot juice like it’s the most exquisite thing he has ever tasted or eats an egg like he���s never had one before. 

Every now and then we witness how Oliver’s well-guarded facade crumbles; mostly around Elio. Once he confesses his feelings towards Oliver, Armie’s voice starts changing. At the beginning he uses his “normal”, deep and gruff tone but as the movie continues and the characters grow closer and more intimate, it gets softer, calmer. The scene at the pool comes to mind (the conversation about the knight “...so does he speak?” ) or the way he comforts Elio after the peach fiasco. Or the “...do you know how happy I am that we slept together...?” Soft, soft Oliver (Armie)!

I love Timmy as much as everyone else on here (believe me, the obsession I have developed with this man is UNREAL) but Armie deserves so much more praise than he’s getting. I fucking love this man.

I can’t imagine another actor as Oliver. 

Prior to him jumping out of that taxi we know nothing about Oliver. There’s no backstory we can relate to or draw from. Yet, Armie manages to completely lose himself in Oliver and I’m sure he has an extensive backstory for this character, maybe (and this is purely speculative) even drawing from his personal life and complicated relationship with his parents (his mother in particular).

Or that tiny glimpse of experience he shows after they have sex for the first time - cleaning himself up, reassuring Elio that Mafalda won’t find any signs of what’s been going on in that bed. We can only imagine what he got up to in America, hiding relationships with other men from family and friends.

I have maybe watched a handfull of Armie’s movies but I can sure say that this movie seems to have changed him. And I love hearing about this as a fan as much as a cinephile in general because yeah, I love watching movies, but knowing the actor actually took something away from this experience (something potentially life changing) makes it so much better.

And it shows in the movie as well. Armie and Timmy became Oliver and Elio. For six weeks they (mostly) stopped living their “ordinary” lifes and lived as these two characters. Living in Italy, falling in love, experiencing heartbreak. 

One can only wonder what went on in their brains once production was finished and the finally “CUT” had been called.

But I’m almost convinced that a part of their characters will forever stick to Armie and Timmy. And that’s what catapulted this movie right to the top of my favourite movie list. The realness, almost like you’re watching a documentary of two people falling for another, how they deal with their feelings, how they express their love and how they handle their goodbyes.

So I applaud Armie for letting his guard down completely for this role and showing us what it means to lose yourself in someone else to a point where the lines between reality and fiction surely start to blur and the viewer can no longer tell actor from character.

‘The Bachelor’ Recap: Pilot Pete already in the danger zone after one week

In a frenzy of sequins, sex jokes, and make-outs, The Bachelor returned to our screens with [extremely Chris Harrison voice] the most dramatic season premiere in history. Peter Weber aka Pete the Pilot aka Pete the Make Out Bandit not only met the 30 women that would be vying for his heart, but also went on his first group date, first one-on-one date, and extended an invitation to his ex, Hannah.

Hannah, who unceremoniously dumped Peter after their windmill-fueled fantasy suite date, showed up to wish our dapper pilot good luck and return the set of wings he gave her when they first met. She later returns to host the world’s most awkward group date (they’re going to tell sex stories to a room of hostages live audience), and there are a lot of tears and running mascara.

But before all of the dates and the crying, there was the Parade of Ladies and, of course, some crying.

I’d make fun of the women getting out of a limo and saying “oh, he’s perfect” after watching him on TV and talking to him briefly, but I’m pretty sure I’ve said the same after watching Tom Holland on the press junket for Avengers: Endgame.

As expected, there were a LOT of terribly uncomfortable sex jokes — mostly revolving around Peter and Hannah’s windmill experience last season — and a handful of flying puns. One of the suitors, Alayah, presented Pete with a note from her grandmother, Rose, which was by far the cutest gimmick of the night.

A lot of wine was consumed, a lot of women were kissed, and a lot of people said “can I steal you for a second” before Pete eventually sent home eight women.

First Group Date

Marine Corps pilot Katie Cook (the first female pilot with the Blue Angels) and Marine Corps C-130 pilot Alisa Johnson oversaw a date that was offensive to aviation. Both pilots are now reservists and came out to run the women through some sort of diet flight school where they were asked a series of basic math questions. That...didn’t go well for some of them.

The women next went for a ride on a gyroscope, which allowed for a hyper dramatic and fantastically edited flashback after Victoria P. said she had a bad experience in a spinning tea cup ride. She would later throw up (in the bathroom off camera, thankfully), but it was worth it for the entertainment value.

They finished with an obstacle course of sorts with Kelley (who had a mysterious happenstance meeting with Pete in a Westlake, CA hotel before filming started) blatantly cheating to win some one-on-one time with our pilot.

Kelley, an attorney, later defends herself at the evening portion of the date by saying, “I didn’t know the rules were going to be that strict.” A LAYWER. THIS WOMAN IS A LAWYER. She would go on to also take the group date rose, ensuring we get another week of Kelley- and-Peter make-outs.

One-On-One Date

Madison got the one-on-one date, and Pete took her to his parents’ vow renewal. Look. The date was super cute, they clearly have chemistry, and Pete’s family is frickin’ adorable. This date was also horribly boring and they finished with one of the patented Bachelor awkward solo concerts.

Moving on.

Second Group Date

This is where things get good. IS THAT HANNAH B’S MUSIC AGAIN?

Pete takes a group of ladies to a theater where Hannah B. meets them and regales them with the windmill story before telling them about the aforementioned requirement to share embarrassing sex stories with strangers. As the ladies scatter to come up with the content that will likely make their next face-to-face with their families super awful, Hannah B. and Pete get to talking backstage.

She expressed regret for the way things ended (reminder: she chose Jed over Pete, and turned out Jed had a girlfriend), and Pete asked Hannah B. if she wanted to join the party and compete for his heart. There was a LOT of crying and no waterproof mascara in sight.

I don’t think Hannah will end up coming back to the Bachelor Mansion as she was mid-Dancing With the Stars at this point — a show she would go on to win — but this drama will carry over to next week.

And here you go, talking with random people about things that does not even matter to you. He left the boys to approach you, mildly intrigued by you. As he started by a simple "Hi." you turned and left. You thought he was a flirty guy like one of those that search for a hook up at parties. Actually, you weren't a bad person but you just had had enough and left, you sent a text to your friend saying that you went back home. 
He was a bit taken aback when you rejected him, he doesn't experience that kind of rejection as he is usually the one who rejects people.  He hadn't seen you since then. Until that one day, at school. The second semester just started and you happened to be in the same class as him, Poetry. The moment he saw you, sitting near the window, he struggled between following the only class he liked and excels in and studying your features. Today's course was the infamous "Glorification of common things", as in the fact that romantic poets use images and patterns to express their powerful emotions, imagination, and identity. You were so interested by all the content that you didn't even see the hour passing by. Packing your things up, you headed to your locker surprisingly fiding him waiting you there, just looking at you. You honestly wondered who that was, not even remembering his face from yesterday due to the darkness of the room at the party. Slowly and silently watching him while walking to your locker, saying nothing. Who was that boy? why didn't i even saw him before? what does he want? 

You just searched for your books and he took a chance to peek at the cover of the one atop, wanting to start a conversation about it. You didn't look up at him, still minding your own business. And it started like that. He started to talk to you everyday, at least once a day, at this point it was pure curiosity. But you just wanted to know why he was sticking up with you. He was mid sentence saying how he liked the fact that poets can't find any other ways to express their feelings than poems that have true meanings and depths when you interrupted him. "Listen, i don't really know who you are and what you want but i'd like you to respect my life and stop following me around please." "Finally you're talking!" "Leave me alone i swear." You started to walk away, "Go out with me." Slightly stunned, you turned around. "You didn't hear right or maybe you're doing it on purpose but i don't really… » "Go on a date with me, and if i still bother you i promise i won't ever talk to you again." he said with a smirk. You started to like how confident he was, and in an attempt to suppress the idea that he's good looking from your mind you said yes. Lying to yourself saying it was mostly because you wanted him to leave you alone. You both agreed on a date on Friday. He turned around and leave. You stood there, watching him leaving and it was the last time you saw him this week. Friday arrived and you hadn't seen him all day. You started to wonder if he stood you up. You were a bit affected, but quickly, you regained your thoughts wondering what was happening to you and why this boy's actions were affecting you that much. 

Your last class just finished and you headed back home, still hoping him to show up somehow. You waited. At 10:30pm, you went to take a shower and change for you pyjamas because fuck him it was late and you won't go out now. He definitely stood you up. You started to get ready for bed and check a last glimpse at your notes for tomorrow. At midnight, you heard small noises knocking at your window. You saw him down, whispering you to come out. You were jaded honestly. You just took a jumper out of your closet, put your sneakers on and headed down as quietly as possible. Since when were you ditching hours of sleep to sneak out of the house and go on a date with a junky? Actually, you couldn't help but feel excited at the new feeling. You saw him waiting for you outside, still with his leather jacket against his motorbike, flashing you a bright smile. "You're pretty late" you stated as a matter of fact, crossing your arms over your chest. "No princess, just on time" he said back. He gave you his helmet and you sit on the motorbike. He took the time to ask if you were alright before starting the engine. He then drove off to somewhere. During the trip, you couldn't help but to lay your head on his back. Having a small wind filled with his scent caressing your face. It was a calm and sweet midsummer night, the sky was filled with stars and you weren't scared. You were at peace. Stopping by a gas station, he took your helmet off and asked  if you wanted something. You answered back with a simple "I'm good thanks". He then went to the bathroom and you waited for him outside. Enjoying the calm of the night, you let out a sigh. You wondered what you were doing in the middle of nowhere, in the middle of the night with him seriously. He came after a while with a black plastic bag, but you didn't ask what was inside. He then took your hands. "Are you afraid?" "No." "Do you trust me?" "No." "Then why are you here with me?" he said with a small smirk "I don't even know." He chuckles and rolled up a scarf around your eyes. He put back the helmet and placed you back on the motorbike. You heard the engine start again and he started to drive again. A few minutes later he finally stopped. You heard the sound of waves and suddenly a loud bang, you quickly took the helmet off asking for him. He took your hand. "Don't take the scarf off. Don't be scared, follow me." You did what his gentle voice asked you to do and you followed him. He guided you by placing his hands on your hips and you put your hands on his because you were a bit scared to put your hands around as you didn't know where you were. You entered a cold room and then the sounds were a bit louder. He took the scarf off and you were amazed by the sight in front of you. 

The sea wide in front of you, as if you were on a boat. You realized you were on the small castle he talked to you about when you still didn't cared about his words. The full moon was big and bright above the sea. A cool wind caressing your face and you started to shiver. He noticed that and took you in his arms. His warmth and his cologne filling you up, you were feeling appeased. After a few minutes like that, you headed back inside. Again, quite surprised by the sight in front of you. You saw he took the time to set up some candles and covers on the floor, and the black plastic bag from earlier that happened to be full of snacks. You two spend the night talking, chilling, laughing and enjoying the presence of each other. "So, did i change your mind?" You couldn't help but say right. He did change your mind. Right now, you wouldn't be anywhere else and you didn't regret going out of your house. Thank God you didn't have class the next morning. It was nearly 4 in the morning, and you had to head back home before your dad wakes up to go to work and notices your absence. So he quickly rolled up the covers and tossed it to the side while you blew up the candles. On the ride back home, you slept on his back. How come things ended up that way so quickly? Arrived home, he stopped the engine and smiled at you. You slowly came down and took the helmet off before handing it back to him with a smile. "Thank you, I had a good time really." You didn't want to go and he didn't want to let you go either. Both of your smiles faded and you looked up in his eyes, he looked at you in a way you couldn't describe. And now you were wondering how a supposedly 'cold' man could be so gentle. And, as you started to head back home, he slowly reached for your hand and kissed you. You gave in so naturally, breaking any form of awkwardness between you two. It all started like that.

People do fall in love. People do belong to each other, because that's the only chance anybody's got for real happiness. Everyone at school wondered how you two put up together. The unbelievable couple. But at the same time, they could only picture you two with each other. He helps you bring out your adventurous side and on the other hand, you help him cool down a bit and be more open. And it already have been one year like that, living a adventure everyday with him. The love story of a 365-pages book. You two have often those midnight dates when he shows up, takes you on a ride and you both drive out to nowhere. You feel safe and at ease. When you wake up in the morning, you often find him asleep besides you and you wonder how he ended up here. He isn't afraid to show his real personality to you. He isn't afraid to sleep or to say what he wants to say. Even if it's the first time he is really in love, he isn't afraid to fall for you deeply. He isn't afraid to give in his feelings because he knows that you belong to each other. He knows that even though you two have small fights you will still end up together. He knows that even if one of you two go away on a trip or anything the other will join naturally because you can't be separated. You both need and want each other always as close as possible. Not always cuddling, nor kissing but just knowing that you are not really far from him is enough. He probably know more about you than you do.

One day, you asked him about his tattoos. You were laying on your back on your bed, and he was on top of you, his head on your chest. You just subtly played with his hair while your other hand was tracing  the tattoos on his arms. He wasn't sleeping, but resting. Eyes closed, enjoying the silence of the room. "What does it mean?" "What?" "Your tattoo." And he explained it all to you. Every details of his history. Even the boys don't know everything about that. You learn everyday about him. But sometimes he just doesn't tell you. So you just find out by his actions. And you love how you can be the only person he can trust, allowing you to read in him so easily. You made the promise, the only one of your life actually because you're not really good at it, to never hurt him or leave him. He needs you as much as you need him.

You hadn't seen him today at school, you wondered where he was. You texted him but nothing. Maybe his phone died. The night, at about 8pm or something, he showed up in your room with the right arcade and the bottom lip both open. You saw him and immediately seated him on the bed. "Hey." You didn't respond. You just treated his wounds, frowning because you weren't really happy about him fighting. "Baby i-" "Don't talk." He did as he was told and just looked at you. Once you finished, you pulled him to the bed and crouched down beside him. "I won't fight again if that's what you want." "What if one day someone show up with a gun or something? What will you do?" He then realized how scared you were, how scared you were to lose him. So he took you in his arms and cuddled with you. He whispered how he will always be with you, how he will never let you down. Kissing and cuddling the hell out of you. On the other hand, you wondered why he has to fight. Mostly why do you have to be affected as if you were the one fighting. How you didn't care at all before and now you were suffering as much as him. Because, even though he won't admit the fact that he is in pain ,because he's a bad boy, you know he is. You live through him. Your souls are like twins. 

The next morning you woke up to him still sleeping. You searched for his shirt and giving him a kiss on the forehead before heading back down. Luckily, you parents decided to go on a trip so for once there was no point hiding him. You started to prepare breakfast and once everything was done you just decided to wait for him. You didn't want to wake him up because he was exhausted. But as you couldn't wait any longer, you decided to go back to bed. Retrieving his warmth, you then closed your eyes and appreciated the moment. Playing with his hands and eventually kissing it. He finally opened his eyes. He turned to you, eyes still half closed. "Good morning" with a deep morning voice "Good morning" you answered back with a smile, "I prepared you a breakfast, come on." You watched him rise up, stretching. You watch as his muscular body, sculpted by the gods of fitness, stretched from side to side. And you wondered how people like that could exist. You both headed downstairs and as he sat at the kitchen counter, you served him his plate. A simple plate with a handmade crêpe with maple syrup. He ate as if he hasn’t eaten anything for 3 years. You watched him ate as you ate an apple, seated on the counter. He suddenly paused, "What if...." "Yeah" "What if we go on a trip? Right now." "I think it reached your brain this time, you fight too often bab-" "No but seriously, let's leave!" he said excitedly "And what will i say to my parents?" "That you went on a trip, duh" You smiled and thought about it for one second. You had nothing left to do here. You barely see your parents due to school, work, business trips or whatever it was. He has no parents, no strings attached here. Except for the boys but you don't really worry about it. They're like birds, moving away, migrating but always coming back. You agreed. You were bored of this place anyways. You went up to your room and found your backpack, putting inside a pair of jeans, a few tops, and a hoodie. "I'll wait for you outside" he said, once he finished putting up his jacket. You took a last glance around you, saying goodbye to your old life, excited by your new one that was about to come. You didn't regret anything. In fact, you were quite minimalist and didn't like the routine, so leaving all this behind didn't affect you that much. You went downstairs and leave a note on the coffee table to your parents. You locked the door and hid the key under a small garden figurine. Jumping on the bike, "Where are we going?" "Nowhere. As always." he said, placing a kiss on your forehead.

You both started to ride. You were really happy and in fact, not scared at all. Before taking the road he stopped at a small mart, to buy you a helmet. He took your hand, interlacing your fingers together and you followed him inside. You both came out after a while with a pastel pink one which he choose for you. You kissed him and then, both of you started to ride again.

Travelling with your partner is a true test of love. Sometimes people don't make it. But your love was beyond that.
Of course, there were times when you both couldn't decide on something but never the idea of ending what you both have came to you. You travelled to many places around the country, always leaving traces of your step to a certain extent. It could be a word graved on a trunk or a quote from your favorite poems written on the bed of the motel. "Bite marks are love notes written in flesh."

Autumn came, and today was your fifth month travelling together but also your second year together. You wanted to have a matching tattoo for the special occasion and he agreed to that. You first searched for a small dinner or something because you were craving for a handmade lemon pie and he needed a real big fat burger, so you stopped at Danny's All-American Diner and Dairy Bar. You sat and as the waitress took the order and served you both a coffee, you talked about your tattoos. 
He explained to you that tattoos have lost much of their stigma and many people consider them as a form of art. He told you to really think about it, but you were sure somehow. You wanted to keep forever a memory of this time of your life. 
You decided to get a simple minimalist tattoo on you forearm, '18:33'. The meaning behind these two numbers was simply an excerpt. A quote from the Holy Book, Psalm 18:33 "He makes my feet like the feet of a deer; he causes me to stand on the heights".

The next morning you woke up in the Blue Swallow Inn. A small motel by the road. The morning light woke you up. You stretched in you bed and reached out for him but the other side was empty. You then opened your eyes and found him gone. You looked over at your new tattoo, around in the small room, let out a sigh and rose up to take a shower. Today seems to be a bright day, so you decided to wear jeans and a simple t-shirt. As you came out of the bathroom you saw him entering the small pink room. "Oh, i hoped i would be back before you wake up" "And i hoped i could kiss you to start the day" you answered back, faking being angry. He gave you a small smile and closed the door. He walked over to you and wrapped you in his arms, kissing you so gently.

You spent the morning making love and the rest of the day you went sightseeing. That day he took you to Banff. The area is renowned for its many hiking trails and wonderful landscapes. You two came up with the idea to stay here for the night. After all, camping was a part of the deal you made with him as you said yes when he asked you to travel with him. So, you set your tent in a nice spot and decided to take a walk along the Lake. The sky was bringing a rosé light, the wind started to slowly blow through your hair. A fresh and vivifying wind. He took you in his arms and you both watched the natural process. The calm lake and the moon and the stars rising slowly.
You were happy at the moment, and you couldn't better enjoy your relationship. 
He then look you deep in the eyes, and you knew he has something in mind as soon as you meet those deep loving eyes. He took you hand and kissed your wrist, 'What' 'Nothing babe' with a smile as he turned back his head to the stars 'I swear..' He then look back at you with the same smile. 'Let's marry.' You didn't know if it was a joke or if he was serious. 'I'm not really fan of cheesy things but i need you to be the one. Will you marry me?' Of course you said yes, as always and forever. He took from the ground a daisy and rolled it up around your ring finger. You both laughed at this silly action but you found it so cute. 
This night you both made the decision to plainly live your lives from now on and to always do more than exist.

E: hey guys it's Emery and welcome back to another video. So yall know I'm not in actual school, I just have a course to help me get my degree in business studies. But can y'all believe it's been a year...ahhhhhh!!! So right now I'm really tired but yall know I have a baby. It's not biological, she is rented. But I have specific times I have the baby. It's a paid package. So right now I'm about to go to the kitchen to make her a bottle and blended eggo pancakes. I haven't had coffee so I'll probably make that as well. Guys welcome to my kitchen, again😳. So I made her bottle and I'm about to show yall how to make blended pancakes. So first you add the eggo pancakes into the blender, then you add peak formula, a little bit of pure honey and vitamin C. Which is optional but I like my baby to get all her vitamins. For my coffee I just have some leftover dunkin coffee from last night. It still tasted good y'all. So yall Its 6:50 and Amelia woke up a bit ago. But she already had breakfast so I'm about to change her. So follow me to my closet. 📷Yall this is just one of my closets. But I use this closet for Amelia because it's a lot more empty. If you can't tell, I already have some of her clothes hung up. So a lot of my fellow teen moms, I feel So happy to say that. But I didn't realise how many of yall were but asked me where I get my baby clothes from. I actually get them from a trendy store called honest. They have stylish clothes for babies and you can even match with your babies. But today I'm just wearing her this pastel yellow matching Nike crew neck and shorts. I actually have this exact one. So that's pretty cool. AMELIA:

So if you don't get straight A's, then it means you repeat the year till you pass. But it was pretty cool overall to have the experience. E: yeah, but like you said you have to get straight A's to move on to the next year. Which means we go it. It is a lot of pressure but trust me it runs faster than you think. M: was it hard buying a house in Maimi? E: I bought a really huge mansion in Miami, it was expensive but it's really worth it. There's spot of fun people in Miami. And houses are a lot more expensive but they are prettier. M: I recently just bought a house in Miami and it was a lot of work. It took a lot of savings cu aim not gonna come on here and pretend to yall that it wasn't expensive. Cuz houses ain't cheap. But it's worth it cuz you can always go have a road trip to Atlanta. E: does Magic have a boyfriend? M: I don't know E: yall she's lying, she does. His name is Bam and he is part of her entertainment squad. This year has been a true test to the human psychique with the mess that is our current Presidential reality – but, luckily, in the midst of life’s many expected ups and downs this year, there was (thankfully) a ton of music to help distract, heal and lift us up.

First up, I’m counting down my Top 50 Albums of the Year! As per usual, this list is usually my favorite because its much easier to rank my love for an album based on if I can get through the whole thing from start to finish without banging my head against a wall (repeatedly). Kehlani – SweetSexySavage: After years years of dropping mixtapes and collaborations, Kehlani finally properly broke out in 2017 with her full-length major label debut LP, SweetSexySavage – an appropriately direct nod to TLC‘s CrazySexyCool. It’s a sleek, self-assured, and polished body of work from an artist that took her time to perfect her sound and get it just right. Though she proudly wears her influences — Aaliyah, Brandy, and any number of Y2K era of R&B belters — on her sleeve she never once sounds like an imitator or cliché. Kehlani‘s many strengths as a songwriter and singer outweigh any possible charges of imitation, and her willingness to apply subtlety, make unapologetic choices, and simply have fun is what makes her a true star. For an album released at the very top of the year, it’s had undeniable longevity, both in the R&B and Pop world. The crossover queen we deserve in 2017. Highlights: “Keep On,” “Distraction,” “CRZY,” “Advice,” “Get Like,” “In My Feelings,” and “I Wanna Be.”

9. Lana Del Rey – Lust for Life: Five albums deep, Lana Del Rey is very aware of the fact that her signature sleepy sound isn’t necessarily everyone’s cup of tea, but that doesn’t mean she’s going to stop making the music her loyal fanbase has grown to love. Compared to her other albums, especially its drowsy 2015 predecessor Honeymoon, Lust for Life is positively sunny in tone, and certainly more upbeat in tempo. Lana may sing about a “Summer Bummer” and being “In My Feelings” but the songs aren’t inline with hazy unforgotten daydreams; they shimmer, offering a confident bit of seduction for chill nights in with your bae. Lana keeps this delicate balance throughout the lengthy Lust for Life (at 71 minutes, this is an album as much as it’s a playlist, designed to be played on loop as “vibe” music), never quite committing to either distress or euphoria but rather finding an effortless place somewhere in-between the two. That said, Lana does lean slightly more towards ecstasy on Lust for Life, bathing comfortably in her slow rhythms and luxurious surfaces. She manages to sustain this mood over the course of Lust for Life‘s 16 songs, every one of which is a genuine variation of her adored signature sound. Highlights: “Love,” “Lust for Life” (feat. The Weeknd), “Cherry,” “Groupie Love” (feat. A$AP Rocky), and “Get Free.”

8. Kendirck Lamar – DAMN.: On DAMN. Kendrick Lamar proved you can actually take a more “mainstream” approach while maintaining your musical excellence. Although its definitely sonically less cohesive than to his predecessors (To Pimp a Butterfly and good kid, m.A.A.d city); the lyrics are just as strong and impactful and the music is just as vibrant and exciting. In fact, Kendrick‘s reached a whole new level of self-awareness on DAMN., he’s better than ever. In my honest opinion, Kendrick‘s been on a non-stop winning streak, and his closest competitors are still miles away and this album it’s just another proof of his genius. Highlights: “HUMBLE.,” “DNA.,” “LOYALTY.” (feat. Rihanna) and “LOVE.” (feat. Zacari).

7. Miguel – War & Leisure: Every year, thre’s one artist drops an absolutely incredible album at the tail end of the year that makes music writers everywhere wish they would’ve waited on publishing their year-end lists. This year, that artist is Miguel. 2012’s Kaleidoscope Dream and 2015’s Wildheart, saw this R&B crooner master the early versatility he displayed on his debut All I Want Is You, showcasing a playful-yet-wise mix of pop, funk and soul that certified him a true star. War & Leisure is a more ambitious, bold and confident move: a non-stop joy ride that doubles as a master class in futurist hypersexual R&B. He never fails to impress and expand within himself. Highlights: “Sky Walker” (feat. Travis Scott), “Banana Clip,” “Told You So,” “Caramelo Duro” (feat. Kali Uchis), “Come Through and Chill” and “Now.”

6. Jessie Ware – Glasshouse: Like most of Jessie‘s stellar back catalog, her third studio LP Glasshouse revolves around her signature lyrical themes: Sadness, isolation, lust and most importantly, love. But Glasshouse strives as a much bigger and mature deal than anything she’s done before, catering mostly to her husband, Sam Burrows, and the arrival of their first child. Jessie‘s has always had the effortless ability to wrap powerful emotions in irresistible melodies but here she channels that skill into soaring new heights. And with additional production credits from the likes of Kid Harpoon, Starsmith, Happy Perez, Benny Blanco, Cashmere Cat, Julia Michaels and Ed Sheeran, there was already little doubt that Jessie would come through strong. But, make no mistake: It was Jessie‘s very own signature sensual stylings that made this record a win from start to finish. Forever my queen. Highlights: “Midnight,” “Stay Awake, Wait For Me,” “Alone,” “Selfish Love,” “Hearts” and “Sam.”

5. Mura Masa – Mura Masa: In a year when mainstream radio became increasingly defined by island-like musical trends, the first full-length by Guernsey-born DJ-producer Mura Masa (aka Alex Crossan) was refreshing for the way it leaned proudly outward, bringing slinky disco, shimmering electro-pop, garage house, Hip-hop and throwback R&B together in the name of finding musical transcendence. Mura Masa‘s unlimited playfulness and genre-bending production skills — not to mention the help from Bonzai, A$AP Rocky, Charli XCX, Desiigner, Nao, Tom Tripp and Christine and the Queens — show that there’s still uncharted territory left in the land of UK dance-pop, and that thankfully someone like the young and talented Mura Masa is more than willing to put in all his time in order to find it. Highlights: “Love$ick” (feat. A$AP Rocky), “1 Night” (feat. Charli XCX), “What If I Go?,” “Firefly” (feat. Nao) and “Second 2 None” (feat. Christine and the Queens).

4. Dua Lipa – Dua Lipa: Pop music needed some serious saving in 2017. Weighted down by tired-less, island-lite radio trends, EDM beat drops (thanks a lot, The Chainsmokers) and One Direction members going solo, the pop music landscape was missing a dose of originality. Enter Dua Lipa, aka Jesus Christ. Kicking off her rise with a slew of anthem-ready singles “Be The One,” “Hotter Than Hell” and “Blow Your Mind (Mwah),” the young and versatile beauty reminded us all that, pop at its finest, all comes down to melody. While it took a lot more time than it should’ve, Dua finally blessed us with her highly anticipated self-titled debut in 2017. And the record was worth the wait: Each song bursts with huge choruses, from the truly stunning opener “Genesis” to the unstoppable force that is “New Rules,” which is finally giving her the visibility she deserves. As with Adele, Ellie Goulding, Charli XCX, Marina And The Diamonds, and so many English queens before her, Dua‘s got the undeniable gift. Dua for President! Highlights: “Genesis,” “Lost In Your Light” (feat. Miguel), “Hotter Than Hell,” “Be The One,” “IDGAF,” “Blow Your Mind (Mwah),” “New Rules” and “Homesick.”

3. Kelela – Take Me Apart: Where 2017 mostly failed in delivering huge pop records, it made up in supplying us with stellar R&B. When Kelela arrived on the scene in 2015 with her unique brand of futuristic-yet-nostoglic-R&B-electronica, we already knew her debut record would be something special. And that it most certainly is: Take Me Apart‘s title track is R&B at its most cosmic and forward-thinking, “Better” is post-breakup relatable gold, and the nostalgic Aaliyah-sounding greatness that is “LMK” is the stuff of legend status. While she might not have made the biggest noise this year, she did deliver artistry at its finest. Kelela‘s got plenty of talent up her slick sleeve and this here is just the beginning of a long career. Take notice! Highlights: “Frontline,” “Take Me Apart,” “Better,” “LMK,” “Blue Light” and “Turn To Dust.”

2. Lorde – Melodrama: Lorde delivered one the best records of the year in 2013 with her debut Pure Heroine. In the time since, she’s become a true superstar all while going through her very first real breakup. Her long-awaited sophomore album Melodrama documents the time spent between her stardom and breakup: It is a honest, sometimes dark and extremely liberating body of work, in which Lorde delivers some of her strongest, tightest and certainly most teary-eyed music to date. In the few years since her debut, Lorde‘s improved substantially upon her melody-making, resulting in massive heartbreak and youth anthems like “Sober,” “Homemade Dynamite” “Perfect Places” and “Green Light,” which is absolutely the year’s most overlooked single. Haunting, lonely and utterly empowering the whole way through. Highlights: “Green Light,” “Sober,” “Homemade Dynamite,” “Liability,” “Supercut” and “Perfect Places.”

1. SZA – CTRL: No other album quite did it for me other than the long-delayed debut from Solána Imani Rowe. SZA‘s CTRL is a straight-up, cohesive masterpiece from beginning to end about a girl navigating life in her “20 Something”‘s (see what I did there?) — dating, falling in love, dealing with fuck boys, self-doubt, anxiety, self-acceptance, growing up and much more. Her full-bodied voice floats over each intricate production effortlessly as she spits her unapologetically honest and relatable lyrics. “The Weekend” is pure genius; “Love Galore” is just as addictive; and “Drew Barrymore,” “Prom” and “20 Something” prove that SZA is not one of those alternative R&B artists with just one or two tricks up her sleeve. To put it simply, SZA is the voice of a generation. GIVE HER ALL THE AWARDS! Highlights: ALL OF IT.
