This past Thursday we had our 1st #student led #parentteacher conference. 👪 We are so proud of the improvements that Kaeden has shown the past couple of months. His teacher is actually surprised that he knows a lot even if he seems to be distracted all the time. 😄 . . As a bonus he got to pick the restaurant where we had dinner. It was our first time eating at Mangan Grill last week. We had the Set C that includes bbq ribs, bbq chicken, crispy chicken, calamari, spring rolls, grilled veggies, crispy pata, lechon kawali, & unlimited java or plain rice. Man was it ever so tasty! The meats are grilled just right. The flavours you can taste all throughout the meat. We also had pancit (Filipino Noodle dish), & I loved it. That's the highest praise I can give any pancit because I usually only love my Mom's. Ive never been one to follow the crowd or even blend in, id rather blaze my own path in life because nothing is ever promised and tomorrow you may not walk,tomorrow you may not love, tomorrow may not come, so live for today and dont worry what others will think, they aren't the ones walking in our shoes nor do they know what has lead us to where we are and who we've become id rather have a backpack full of necessities, and a smile on my face going down the road than to live in a house working a 9 to 5 going through the motions regardless of the monetary value and societies opinion on what is "right"
