It was a warm Saturday afternoon, ahh, summer! Bakugo’s favorite season; not because of the weather, but because he gets to see you in short shorts. “Izuku, wh-“ you questioned, interrupted by Midoriya’s strong hands pulling you towards him, kissing you feverishly. You feel him grab and caress you, hands stopping at his favorite part of your body. He gave it a hard slap, leaving a pleasurable sting as he pulled away from the kiss.

“Y/N, you have no idea how badly I want you right now. You don’t know what you do to me.” He said, lifting you up using the strength of One for All. He rushes to your shared bedroom, telling you how he’s gonna fuck you all night, and went on and on about how sexy you are.

“I love you so much Y/N, you’re so perfect.” He said gently laying you on the bed, the last gentle thing he did for you that night.

He didn’t mean to stare at your body as you were talking to him about your night but he simply couldn’t help himself. Your hero costume fit your body so snug he couldn’t help but to imagine what’s underneath (even tho he already knows). You nodded weakly, head buried into the throw pillows on the couch as you asked about his day. He ignored your questions, standing up from his seat to walk towards you. He was very eager to feel up on you (especially on dat ass). Todo crouched over your body, sternly massaging your tight back. He was weirdly good at massages. You moan as you feel your body relax, the sound turning Shoto on immensely. His hands start to travel down your back, gripping your ass with both hands as he bounced and jiggled the cheeks around. You feel yourself get a little wet when you feel him unzip the back of your hero costume to reveal your bare back.

Gender Headcanon: Genderfluid! also aoyama is extremely femme and you cannot tell me otherwise. my aoyama (by "my" i mean the aoyama that i rp as) uses any pronouns, including it/its. being referred to in any way is amazing, and "it" is what you call things like diamonds, so why WOULDN'T they like being called that???

aoyama hoards gender labels!!! they find one they like and say "oooo this is mine now". some of the ones i have so far are genderfluid (like i said already lol), pangender, Omnique/Omnigay or Amor-/Amaregender, a few genders from the Galactian Alignment System, Nebulagender, Astergender, and Elegender.

basically i think aoyama knows how fun gender is and runs with it. and also they know its a game and they know theyre winning

Sexuality Headcanon: HMMMMM this one i kinda go back and forth on. i think they mostly like guys, but MAYBE they could like a girl every once in a while? but i think if they were to like a girl, their gender would get even weirder.

OH ALSO demisexual/-romantic. i think aoyama WANTS to believe in love at first sight, but i think they just dont actually FEEL it

A ship I have with said character: otp is aoyama and monoma!!!! i could into why i love them together but like. oh man theyre so sweet. (also, blond prep solodarity /hj) aoyama daydreams far too much, and i think monoma helps bring them back down to earth to actually appreciate life in the moment. theyre both self-conscious about their quirks and they can help each other with that. OH and monoma feels bad about always having to rely on other people but he helps aoyama as much as they help him and AUGH like. its one of those ships that i think is actually viable ant that could actually last

second favorite aoyama ship is with midoriya. theyre just so sweet. aoyama loves checking in on people and making sure theyre taking care of themselves, and midoriya loves hyping people up and helping them see their own potential, which is something aoyama needs help with, lmao. OH ALSO midoriya talks endlessly, and aoyama doesnt really like talking very much, and would absolutely love listening to mido infodump about heroes. aoyama loves listening to people talk about things they care about, esp people he loves <3 theyre both just so soft and i love it. this is another ship that i think would have long-term potential

THIRD aoyama ship is with tokoyami. theyre both dramatic bitches, but its also gothxprep and i love it. also the poetic-ness of aoyamas light and tokoyamis darkness??? immaculate. ALSO ALSO theres this trope in tokoyama fanfics where dark shadow acts as the catalyst because he likes shiny things and aoyama is a shiny thing, which is pretty much always adorable. once again theyre very sweet together, its great. this one doesnt feel AS long-term to me, but i love it anyway

honorable mention to iidayama, because i can recognize that its objectively cute, but i just cannot get into it. maybe its because i wouldnt be able to stand iida irl, or maybe its just cus i cant picture it in the long run? i guess i can see aoyama getting a crush on iida, but i dont rlly see it going anywhere tbh. like i said tho, its cute, i just can't get invested in it

A BROTP I have with said character: oh, hm... kaminari maybe? theyre both pretty heavily effected by the drawbacks of their quirks. i also like jirou/aoyama friendship, cus like. theater kid + stage crew kid... makes sense to me ig

A NOTP I have with said character: ahaaaa bakugou and aoyama is a big one!!!! no thank you!!!! aoyama KINDA has a thick skin, but like. i just???? dont get it, its weird. its one of those ships where im not gonna like... REALLY judge you for it, but i Am Squinting. i will question your taste, i guess. i think to ship those two, you need to have a fundamental misunderstanding of one or both of those characters.

A random headcanon: i think this one is pretty well-known and widely-adopted among aoyama-likers, but aoyama spent much of their childhood in the hospital. one of the reasons they have so much trouble in social situations is because they spent so much time alone and missed so much school. the most social interaction they got was when actively trying to gain affection and approval from their nurses in the hospital. another result of all that loneliness was that they started daydreaming a lot, since they were too young to be able to fully deal with all the traumatic and isolating stuff happening around them. even in their teen years they havent been able to fully shake their habit of maladaptive daydreaming, even though at this point it does more harm than good.

heres a fun one: aoyama writes poetry thats a frankensteinian combination of french and japanese. you know how shakespeare is supposed to rhyme, but the pronunciation of words has changed so much that you have to read it in a particular way for it to work? thats what aoyamas poetry is like. if its in japanese, you have to read it in a french accent, and vice versa.

the line is from what we deserve!! it's a soulmate au where your timer counts down to the moment that you meet your soulmate!! bakugou's timer ends at USJ when he and kirishima attack kurogiri at the same time (impulsive kings <33) but kirishima's timer doesn't end until kamino because that's when he accepts himself as bakugous soulmate!! unfortunately, when bakugous timer has reached 0, he turned to see that kirishima's was still ticking and therefore believes that kirishima isn't his soulmate.

this line just,, idk. it's really sad. bakugou is such an action-driven character? if something doesn't go his way he Makes it go his way. he's got this insanely volatile quirk and he's got impeccable control of it!! but his love for kirishima isn't something that he can change and he's not going to ruin kirishima's chance of finding his own soulmate because he loves him and wants him to be happy. i really wanted to focus on how resigned he is? and how unusual that is for a character like him.

How do you conceptualize your ideas? (See specific moments like they're a movie, writing specific lines in your head, don't know until you put the words on paper, etc.) i tend to get inspiration from movies, books, poems, or other fics!!! sometimes one line just makes me go oh,, i want to write something like that,,, and then it helps me create an idea that makes me feel the same way?? i did this with control fraek!!!! i wanted a scenario where bakugou was cold and calculating and i was like hm. to do that he’d have to be focusing on something important. and from there i was able to flesh out the rest of the idea.

Which comes first: the pairing or the plot? with krbk its always always the pairing,, i'll be sitting there like wow <33 i love them <33 what if one of them had amnesia <33 (which, yes, wip!!) otherwise it's usually the plot!! and i slot in characters that i feel make sense

Have you ever used a prompt? yeah!! used a prompt for wlw week 2020 and it was fun as hell

Do you write around the story around a specific scene you want to get to or do you start from a plot idea definitely the first!!!! i almost always write like,,, a super messy scene thats 90% dialogue, keep it in my head, and then write the entire fic around that one moment

Do you find that you include a projection of some part of yourself in the way you write a character? a lot of the time when i write love confessions or love in general i'll have one of the characters think or say that the other person makes their head quiet? and it's because that's what i feel whenever i'm in love?? a quiet mind. i project on characters yeah but i think most of the projection actually goes to the way that i write love

Are there concepts you've tried that turned out better than expected? yeah!! i fully thought the action in control fraek would be awful but it turned out not bad??? which im happy with

Are there concepts you've tried that turned out worse than you expected? again, what we deserve, i personally think it would have worked out better if i'd paced it slower and drawn out the pining but i. do not feel like going back to fix it so its staying the way that it is. pining is so fucking hard to do AHHHH i get so tired with it!!! im like just date already!!!!

How do you come up with titles? in rare occasions (literally. all my multichaps for some reason) the title comes after writing like .5 words of the first chapter im like YES this is it!!!!! sometimes i write the whole thing and pick out one line that fits (what i did with come home to me) a lot of the time i just. steal from songs or poems that i like

What's your favorite emotion to cause on your readers? i like making people happy!!!! love when people comment saying they're cheered up

Have you ever cried or felt any emotion while reading something you've written? never cried?? but sometimes i'll rereading my hurt/comfort fics 4. yk. comfort

Usual way you procrastinate while writing? ...doing asks like this, making playlists, discord, watching netflix. what don't i do smh

Do you outline or free write? i am. so shit at outlines. i mostly free write and write lil notes for stuff that i wanna add later

Do you set word goals or scene goals (scenes you want to include)? yes!! like i said i'll write loose notes for scenes that i want to add later!! it gives me something to write towards :D

What do you consider when writing your scenes? what goes into making the atmosphere and mood you want? to set a scene i do two things? the first is like,, the five senses bc that always sets the scene really well and makes it feel Real. i'll visualize stuff in my head like its a movie and write out what i would want to tell the set designer?? if the lights are low, if the space is busy, if it's supposed to exude comfort or not.

for putting forward the character's mood one thing i've found that makes a difference is sentence length!! long sentences are good for making a character seem flustered and nervous or not really in control of their emotions? good for love confessions. short sentences are good for when the character is focused on something or short on time. good for fights!!

What's something you never considered to include in your writing that you can't leave out now? def buff hagakure,,,, once i thought of it i was like. if i don't include this at least once in every single fic how could i look at myself in the mirror!!!!!! how could i face anyone!!!!

How do you start a story? establishing a fact about the character or describing the setting! option a is one single thread of gold, option b is between lion and men

How do you end a story? either by tying it back to the beginning or doing like a funny kind of closing??? option a is sugar cookies, option b is a godless society

How do you get out of writer's block? change something!! move something!! i go from typing to handwriting, moving from my bedroom to my living room, switching wips to work on something else!! i do sprints as well?? give myself like fifteen minutes to write something and sometimes 200 words opens up the way for another 2k. sometimes i'll just delete like 500 words and start fresh

Do you edit? or do you toss your writing out there? i edit!!! i'll go over it myself then send it to one or two betas (bee my beloved <33)

How do you edit? do you use spellcheck, grammar checkers, etc? bee is my grammar checker bc he is So Good with grammar. i use grammarly as well for spellcheck stuff mostly?? sometimes my edit process is just like "am i tired of looking at this!! yes <3" and then i post it

Do you usually like what you write? yeah!!! i post stuff that makes me happy and that i'm fine with rereading!!! i write stuff for self-indulgence reasons first and foremost and i think my writing reflects that sjhnksj

Do you find yourself rereading your writing often? yeah!! the reason i wrote so much krbk secret relationship is because i loved it but i'd read all that there was so i just,, wrote more,, ngl its kinda nice being in a place where i actually like my writing bc i can write stuff that i want to see and really enjoy it!!

Can you tell us anything about your current WIP? sure!! i'm currently working on when it rains which is a fic where bakugou gets hit by a crying quirk!! i'm gonna be using it to explore So Much of all might's character and his relationships with bakugou and aizawa (and i think some people from his past!!)

Can you give us a sneak peek on your current WIP? “You did something. What the hell did you do?” Kirishima sounds pissed off. It would amuse Katsuki if he wasn’t fighting just to stay standing.

“Nothing he didn’t ask for,” Shinsou replies.

“K’ri… shima,” Katsuki croaks out. “‘S fine. Not him.”

His chest collapses back into the familiar dry heaving after that but Kirishima shuts up. He doesn’t apologize to Shinsou.

Kirishima’s a good friend, stubborn and loyal. He stands by Katsuki’s side like an attack dog, blocking him from the view of anyone ogling at his tears.

The last line you've written Ochako knows more than she'd realized. She knows enough to keep her guard up.

What's your favorite thing about writing? touched on this before but it's mainly just being able to write the things that i want to see and actually enjoy them!!! actually reread them!!!! i thought "wouldn't it be cool if bkg and kirishima owned a restaurant together" and then i wrote it and i like it enough to reread it!!!! being able to create content for myself makes me. so happy

How do you keep yourself inspired? this is gonna sound narcissistic maybe but honestly i'm just really excited about my ideas and where i'm gonna take them and the idea of "i'm gonna get to That scene" keeps me going through the entire thing. also my friends!!!! i'll talk to them about fics and their reactions keep me hyped up enough to finish!!!!

What is your favorite thing to write? just,, slice of life romance,,, stuff thats silly and makes people laugh!!

What do you think your strengths are in writing? i'm good with dialogue!! i do lil voice acting sessions with myself to make sure everything sounds natural and like it's coming from that character skhjnskj

i'm comfortable with my portrayal of love as well??? i spend a lot of time thinking about what it is exactly that i'm trying to get across and i think it turns out well!!

What are things you wish you could practice more? on one hand i wanna get better at writing angst on the other hand i dislike writing angst. do you see my issue

One way you've improved your writing since you began? characterization!! i think i've gotten better at writing characters that are all Different and bring different things to the table!!! i used to project a lot more and it would compromise the characterization because the character was like 70% me and 30% them? not to say that projection is bad but if you do it too much it just,, doesn't read like the character and from a reader's standpoint the narrative can become less compelling

One aspect of writing you're still working on? writing action!!! i. literally hate writing it but i write for a fandom about superheroes so. Unfortunately i gotta learn.

A piece of writing advice you've learned while writing saw this on another tumblr post but they said sometimes if you're struggling with a scene, the problem is five lines back. i've found that to be true!!!! sometimes u gotta delete a chunk and start a little ways back!! i did this with too busy being yours because i was stuck for Weeks and i deleted like 25% of what i had but it helped me actually finish it :D

A bit of writing advice you can't stand when people shit on show don't tell for being overrated lmao bc when u read their writing you can Tell

Something you wish you knew when you first started writing? ,,,,honestly i kind of wish i could know some of the stuff that i used to when i first started writing?? technically i'm better now but creatively i was must better when i wasn't stressing about whether anyone would like what i was writing. so i guess i wish i knew that i should keep that confidence? i kinda wish that i wasn't as insecure about other people's writing styles because i never used to be!!

Something you've learned in life that you apply in writing there's no point in feeling inferior?? writing one genre isn't better than the other. being in one fandom isn't better than being in another. the kind of language you use or the length of your paragraphs- none of that stuff like. matters. what matters is that you're having fun and happy with what you're creating!!!! enjoy other peoples writing but don't let it make you feel worse about yours :D

Encounter

Monster/Yokai au.

All characters 18+

Characters: Todoroki, Bakugou and, Midoriya. +You

Warnings: Cursing, slight nudity, Kinda long post.

Encountering the supernatural. (Aka Meeting s/o.)

I wanted to do a monster au but I was tired of the cliché vampire, werewolf and ghost for these three. So, I thought why not make them Yokai. The pictures used were drawn by yours truly and yes there not great I did them all in one day so there kinda sloppy (I’m looking forward to re-drawing them tho.). For now, it’ll just be these three.

Todoroki Shoto- Kami of a shrine son of a Yuki-onna and an Akurojin-no-hi.

“Those fuckers.” You grumbled to yourself as you almost slipped on another frozen puddle. Said ‘fuckers’ were your friends. Why were you cursing them? Well you knew you wouldn’t have been freezing your ass off if they weren’t so superstitious. The lot of them had told you that there was a shrine at the edge of town that was haunted. Ridiculous right?

             They didn’t let up each telling a tale of their encounters. After listening to the so-called ghost stories, you called bull and told them that if you got proof that the place wasn’t haunted then they’d each owe you a meal at any place no matter the cost. “I’ll go right after class.” You had declared.

             So, there you were pushing through snow up to your hip to make it to the shrine. ‘If there is a shrine.’ You frowned at the thought. Your fingers were going numb over the camera you bought with you and your teeth were chattering. You thought of turning around and going home, but your pride would not allow you too. You opened your mouth and, you were going to see it through. A strong gust of wind broke through the barrier of your thick coat and, you looked up with a shiver.

“What the hell!?” Your blood boiled cold forgotten. What had you so worked up was the sight in front of you. Up until that point you had been pushing through hip deep snow but, literally half a mile around the Torii gate was dry ground. As in there was no snow. Meaning.

“Abandoned my left nut. If I had a left nut…… And, even if I did it would have fallen off by now.” You ranted to yourself while stepping on the snow free ground. You brushed yourself off and looked at the stairs behind the gate. “Well I’m already here.” You grumbled.

“Maybe I can get an early new year wish and ask the gods to put toads in my shitty friends’ soup.” You said a smile coming onto your lips. Only for it to drop. Your body felt warm. Not just your body the air as soon as you stepped into the clearing had changed. The word haunted flashed in your mind, but your eyes were captured by something else.

             The soft clacking of geta took your attention but the sight took your breath. The man that walked down the steps was gorgeous. He wore a dark traditional outfit with a white haori jacket decorated with black so flakes. His hair was dual toned half a brilliant red, and the other half a powder white which bounced lightly with every step. Although he had a scar over one of his eyes, it didn’t take anything away from his attractive features. Your favorite being his irises blue and grey. They were turned to a stone in his hand.

             You stood there awkwardly just eyeballing the guy as he made it down the stairs and to the right side of the Torii gate. You really did think he was attractive and, you shamelessly lifted the camera. “Well he’s good enough proof” You smiled snapping a shot of the man. When you went to see the picture, you froze he had noticed.

             You looked up sheepishly and gave the stranger a smile. He was not amused.

“What are you doing here.” He demanded.

“Uh Nature pictures…………………?” You tried.

“Please go away.” He said politely.

             You frowned. “I just got here. And, besides I need pictures to prove that this place isn’t haunted. So, no I will not be going away.” You sassed. His eyes narrowed at you and you could have sworn the temperature dropped. He turned to you and, made to walk in your direction making.

“Very well.”

Bakugou Katsuki- Kitsune self-proclaimed owner of your grandparent’s backyard…….

             “I’m done!” You yelled in vexation. You had been ecstatic when you were told that you could vacation at your grandparents’ home. They lived out in the country near the mountains with acres of land to their names.  And, you were excited to get out of the city for a couple months to enjoy all that fresh air. But, as luck would have it, you had already done everything under the sun in the first week. Your grandparents though they loved you dearly were already annoyed at your huffing and sent you out on an ‘adventure.’

             “Just go down the trail marked up and, you’ll find the sacred fruit tree.” They told you. At first you figured that they were talking about some hidden apple tree and, you decided that it would be fine to pick some apples. But that was three hours ago and, you’ve past that thorn bush well over fifty times by now.

             Tears pricked at the corner of your eyes as you noticed the sun was soon to set. You were hungry and, agitated. Your legs and arms were covered in dirt, bug bites and scratches. All you wanted was to go home and take a bath and have your grandmother make you your favorite food while you played your grandfather at some random game.

“Oi.” Your head jerked up quickly at the sound and, you looked around and spotted nothing. Great. You slid down your back against a tree as you wallow in pity. Before a single tear could run down your face you felt something thunk against your head.

“Ouch.” You muttered picking up the acorn that had been chucked at you.

“Hey, you. shitty brat I’m talking to you.” You looked in front of you and jumped back into the tree. The sat a man that wasn’t there before. The ‘man’ had what looked like ears atop his head and, five blond tails.

“W-what are you?” You said in shock.

             His red eyes narrowed at your cowering form. A sneer painted his face as he regarded you with contempt. “Who am I? How the fuck do you not know who I am? I fucking own this land. Everyone knows that!” He barked his ruby eyes a burning inferno.

“W-what do you mean? Th-this is still part of my grandparents land, right?” You asked timidly.

“Those shitty prunes don’t own shit! This land has been mine for almost five hundred fucking years.” He seethed. “Now be a good mortal and, tell me why the hell were you walking on this path.”

“My granny said that there’s apples down- “

“You’re a shit liar. Why do you think I had you going in circles?! You know this Is the route for the sacred tree you just wanted to steal it’s fruit. Fucking thief.” He accused.

“That’s not what I was doing! I swear I don’t even know what the tree looks like!” You cried defending yourself.

“This is a sacred fruit.” He said holding up a strange round object to the sun. “Now mortal since you tried to steal this shit, I should rip you in two.” He threatened.

“But since this is your first fucking offense, I’ll be lenient.” He said getting up and, stalking towards your quivering form. He bent down so that his face was close to yours allowing you to see the red marking on his face clearer. “Next time I see your ugly mug I’ll make sure to devour your fucking soul human.”

             He pulled back with the same sneer on his face and turned around. “Go before I change my mind and eat you, you dirty ass thief.”

             With his illusion magic gone you could see that you were close to your ‘vacation’ home and, you quickly stood to book it when something smacked into your face. You closed your hand around the bumpy green fruit and ran like hell.

“Stupid ass human.”

Midoriya Izuku- Baku who’s still trying to get used to his job.

             You sighed and looked down at the talisman. In all honesty the thing kinda creeped you out but you were willing to try anything to get some decent sleep. As of late you’ve been plagued by terrible night terrors. You’d find yourself screaming awake or not going to sleep in order to avoid dreaming. You were also given the talisman by some woman your mother knew. She said to trust the Baku to do its job. Whatever that was.

             You rolled your eyes at what you were about to do but, at this point you just wanted some sleep maybe you were getting senile? You snorted and, parted your lips. “Baku-san please come to me at night and feast upon my nightmares. I give you permission to clean my dreams of all despair…” With that you slipped the bugger under your pillow. “Well I hope it works…. Maybe it’s a placebo?”

             Your hands removed your pajama top and shorts. With a sigh you unclipped your bra letting your breast hand free. You stepped out of your panties and pulled on a button up sleep shirt. You had found sleeping slightly nude to be more comfortable due to how many times your clothing would end up soaked in sweat when you had nightmares.

             Placing your phone down you turned off the lights and got under your covers. You laid there waiting for sleep. You laid there for almost an hour until you felt your eyes grow heavy. Just as your top lid kissed your bottom lid you heard a sound.

“Ow *hiss* ow ow ow that hurt.” Your jumped up out of your bed and grabbed at whatever you could find. Which just so happened to be a spoon from when you ate your cereal that morning. “Oh shoot.” You heard the intruder say. You quickly flicked on the light.

             Once the room was bathed in light your eyes narrowed at the man in your bedroom. The creep had horn headband and, a cheap tail. You glared at the freak. “What the hell are you doing in my room!? How’d you get in!?” You interrogated.

“A-ah t-th-that’s umm I’m y-your Baku?” He said awkwardly his eyes on his shoes.

“Baku? What the hell are you talking about?! I’m calling the police!” You yelled more than likely awakening your parents and, sibling.

“Ah P-please don’t I would hate for you to get in trouble for me doing a bad job.” He said looking at you only to flush red to the tips of his ears and, look down. “Y-your shirt.” He mumbled.

             Lo and, behold the top buttons on your shirt had come undone and, you had just flashed the strange green haired man. “You nasty pervert!” You screeched covering your breasts.

“Sweetie are you okay!?” Your father asked quickly unlocking the door with a spare key. You glared at the green-eyed freckled guy as your father and, mother walked in.

“We heard you screaming again are you okay?” Your mother asked.

“Another nightmare Pumpkin.” Your father questioned.

             Your mouth was agape were they just ignoring the guy, or could he really be…. You were shook to say the least and, as soon as your parents realized there was no threat, they sauntered off telling you to keep the door unlocked. After doing the opposite and, locking your door you looked to the horned guy standing in the middle of your room.

“So… Your real.” You asked tentatively. “Oh, shit I’m going insane.”

“N-no I’m real.” He said a blush still on his cheeks.

“But, how? Why?” You said.

“That’s a bit rude. I exist just like you exist.” He said and started to mutter about how humans think that there the only ones who matter in this plane.

“Uh not to be rude Mr. Baku but why are you here?” You asked.

             He gave you a bright blinding smile and, you almost shrieked ‘the light it burns’. “I’m here because you summoned me. It’s kinda my job. People use the talisman and, a Baku is deployed to that person.” He informed. “I’ve never eaten the nightmares of someone your age before… Usually kids call on us. Not that it’s a bad thing! Or something to be ashamed of!” He said.

“How does it work?” You asked. He blushed.

“You need to be sleeping!” He said hiding his face behind a drawing. “It’s easier with younger kids just a tap to the head but- “He cut himself off to and looked off to the side.

             You found this ‘Baku’ very unthreatening the more you spoke to him therefore you decided to ask. “What’s in your hand?”

“Ah th-this is for you it’s my personal Talisman. It means that only I can eat your nightmares. A lot of Baku’s won’t tell you this, but eating dreams is really tempting and dangerous.”

“Right, either I’m so fucked up I’m hallucinating... Or this is real... then let me hit the sack so you can do your ‘job’.” You said crawling back into bed. The Baku stood over you his green eyes glowing. You felt your eyes droop at his stare and, your blood ran cold at what he said next but, you were already drifting.

“I’m very sorry.”

both of these idiots, at one point or another, think that the other one is out of their league. what is this an early 20s comedy show that has its surprisingly deep/romantic subplot moments? absolutely and there’s noting you can do about it. its about Midoriya punching Todoroki with friendship and then showing him via the dekusquad how to be a person and that friendship slowly evolving into love. its about Midoriya being fumbling and awkward sometimes bc this is the first time hes ever had friends or a crush that he actually talks to?? on a regular basis?? and even though getting together is a clumsy mess they still come together

Theyre gay and trying to repress their feelings and thankfully its not really working out for them. its about the boys trying so so hard to not be in love with the other for whatever reasons the fic has (he’s my best friend and i dont wanna ruin it, obviously he doesnt like me like that, my father would kill him, etc etc) and failing miserably.

Gay repression and mutual pining take 2 ! but also including That Moment when oh everything comes together and oh my goodness im in love ?? and Midoriya cant believe the world is crashing down around him and Todoroki has set himself on fire and theyre both so dense and suffering from so much emotional trauma but here they are, in love.

doesnt matter when the fic is set, if theyre teenagers or adults, these boys are the epitome of puppy love crushes and blushes and fumbled awkward words and gestures and not quite knowing what to do with their feelings and theyre both so anxious about and its always such a relief to find out that its all mutual but still, having that crush is always like being hit over the head with affection

oooo its about that sweet sweet mutual pining that they both thing will forever remain unrequited and that yearning for the other to love just as much as them. its about the boys falling into daydreams about what it would be like if their feelings were mutual. its about that first fumbling confession maybe where its either todoroki being blunt or midoriya finally scraping together his courage and always always saying “its okay if you dont feel the same, we can forget this and still be friends, but i need you to know...” and its about hoping, hoping so much, that they wont stay friends and that maybe, if the other takes the chance, he’ll fall in love too (even tho he’s already there) its about skirting the edge of friendship and pushing boundaries into the romantic hoping that it sparks something (even tho it already has) its about fake dating with a crush and never demanding that the other not fall in love (bc maybe theres hope)

its about that hope again. its about midoriya staying up so late at night overthinking everything hes ever done and wondering if todoroki is just humoring him bc his crush on the other is just so so obvious and it feels so awful to know that hes so obvious and todoroki is just playing along and he wonders if todoroki really knows how much he loves him. its about todoroki in his own room, worrying about the same thing. its about noticing the little things about each other. its about already knowing a whole host of secrets and knowing its okay to trust themselves to the other. its about midoriya noticing everything about todoroki and detailing all his little ticks and favorite things in his notebooks and hoping that todoroki notices just as many things about him, wanting the other to feel the same depth of feelings. its about todoroki becoming more and more emotionally aware (heroes can cry too) and noticing everything about midoriya and thinking hes just cataloging everything he’d need to take down a rival but do you really need to know all of someones different smiles in order to fight them?

its about mutually loving each other even in the hard times, even in the sad times. its about that sweet sweet hurt/comfort that the both of them inevitably have to have bc of the trauma each of them have faced either in their childhood or together as heroes. its about being able to see through the masks that they both have whether it be a stoic one or a smile. its about hoping that the other will see their own inherent worth past their hurting and understand why they love them. its about hoping the other will see how much they love them

a cute and silly song about midoriya being overly talkative bc hes a little chatterbox and we all know that todoroki loves it but sometimes it get a little frustrating when he wants kisses instead of the fifty-third rant about all mights golden age costume design (really todo it was a brilliantly done color scheme and- and the symbolism!) and maybe sometimes even midoriya would rather be kissing than talking too

kinda debated about whether or not this one fit enough to keep but its a bop so it stays. its mostly the tongue tied part of the lyrics that apply bc both the boys get a little mixed up and tongue tied when it comes to talking to each other when theyre in love and crushing hard ( mostly midoriya but todoroki too)

do i really need to day more than sun and moon motif tododeku? its about izuku bringing warmth back to shoutos life and shouto being a steady gentle presence for izuku. its about izuku being able to light up a room and shouto being full of radiant grace and the two coming together as opposites in harmony

we’re getting into the really mushy gushy songs that make me sigh like a lovelorn maiden or something. i love this one for tododeku especially with the sports festival in mind as a sort of awakening. like shouto had only just realized what it was like to fully live for himself bc of izuku. izuku really opened up a path for him and guided him out of his misery into a brand new life full of acceptance and love. and shouto was there to return that love tenfold to izuku who hadnt really ever felt such devotion before. its about finally realizing that they can be so good together. its about wanting to come home to each other 

Home to You - “  But I see the world so different now / But there's a place by the sea and that's my town / When I don't know what to say / When I don't know what to do / There's a room I need to sit in / Surrounded by my favorite view / When I need a hand to hold / Someone to tell the truth / Would it be okay if I came home to you? “

One of my favorite ooey gooey songs about coming home and finding solace in another, which is just so perfect for tododeku. i love it when shouto feels like izuku is his home. that hes never felt like he truly belonged anywhere before he started belonging in izukus arms, holding his hand, and loving him. i feel like they would be good for settling each others doubts and fears. izuku worries that hes not good enough, that he needs to do more in whatever hes doing, that he will once again be found useless. but shouto is no nonsense enough to tell him straight that hes enough, hes wonderful, and already does so so much that its astounding and izuku cant help but to believe him. and when shouto starts to think hes like his father too much in the wrong way, starting to doubt is path in life, or thinks that his trauma makes him too difficult to deal with. but izuku is far too open and loving and shouto knows hes far too good to ever let shouto be what he fears most and izuku is there to remind him of all the good things hes done to earn that love. its about both of them being emotionally repressed in different ways and not knowing what to do or what to say but finding a way to communicate with each other anyway.

there can be a lot of challenges for the boys depending on the setting their relationship takes place in; shouto’s father always plays a role, kacchans attitude whether a constant interference or a ghost of izuku’s past, acceptance from the outside world, acceptance from friends and family, power imbalance (shoutos a prince and izukus a servant/knight/random adventurer) and a whole host of fic specific issues. this is about falling in love with each other despite them all, this is about begging each other to fall despite the dangers, this is about fighting to be together anyway. this is about finding an impossible love that shocks your soul and embracing it with all your heart.

you know some of those fics that hurt good bc mostly izuku but sometimes also shouto decide that their hero careers need to come first and that having a relationship would only interfere with that despite the fact that they love each other a lot? this is the song that plays when they realize that’s not true and come together and decide to be together anyway and that theyll be stronger for it. its about growing together as a couple as well as separately and still loving each other even through the changes. its about rising through the ranks together. learning about the world, together. and its about taking on any challenge thrown at them. together. growing, changing, loving.

(and shoutos sibs) love without strings attached (doesnt matter if you were quirkless, doesnt matter if youre not the number one hero, doesnt matter that youve been through so much trauma ill help you and love you anyway) both of them striving to be the best fit for the other either a tidal wave or calm waters, eaither righteous fury or gentle love and its about just being so so thankful that they love each other even through the hard times

this about past trauma and shared trauma and healing both on their own and together and knowing their relationship can weather through it all. this is about izuku comforting shouto through everything about his father and his family and the feelings that dredge up when someone asks about endeavor and its about shouto helping izuku through his complicated relationship with katsuki and how he flinches when a villain says his hero name in just the wrong tone. its about izuku covering shoutos scar with kisses and its about shouto tracing his fingers along the scar tissue on izukus hands. its about being patient and waiting and helping each other through times that feel like just too much to handle.

its about both of them living up to the high expectations placed on their shoulders and telling each other that theyre enough. that izuku doesnt have to be the next symbol of peace exactly like all might. that shouto doesnt have to be the number one hero exactly like his father. its about encouraging each other to talk even though their both bad at it; izuku mumbles and stutters and takes forever to get to the point and shouto takes a long time to say what hes thinking and form it all into words and sometimes he still cant find the right ones. but shouto is patient and so is izuku.

izukus got a nice strong back and so does shouto (theyre heroes of course they cut a nice figure) and sometimes shouto gets lost in daydreams and sometimes izuku does too and its about the soft soft kisses that neither can get enough of. its about the yearning despite finding each other bc sometimes it doesnt feel real and ya gotta kiss again and again just to make sure and honestly its a mitski song what more to you want from me

theres just so many fics about laundry? what makes doing laundry together so intimate? sharing detergent and smelling like each others clothes? showing a part of yourself to someone else? anyway, its about love and being home with each other and wishing the love will last. its about sometimes things dont end so well and you want to turn back time and sometimes izuku leaves and sometimes shouto runs but most times one or the other comes back and it all hurts but the love again is worth it

- Midoriya : His Quick wit and Adaptable Analysis Skills could come in Handy in Making On the spot Strategies since he always seems to look at things in a logical and rationally beneficial way.

- Bakugou : The Kid is a menace and he is made to be an aggressor so when it comes to face to face combat Having a spontaneous yet calculative Bakugou to sweep the floor clean and be the Main front liner wouldn't be a Bad Idea. He knows how a fight works and he is very resourceful with his moved and paired with his sharp mind he'd definitely be a force to be reckoned with.

- Todoroki - He is excellent at being an object of distraction and destruction. Having the enemies frozen in place is helpful in most situations and by using his fire quirk he could easily wipe out and distance the villains or enemies that's surrounding the area.

- Tamaki Amajiki : The perfect 2 in 1 combo. With his quirk he could serve as an attacker and a defender. Though picking the right food he consumes would be the key to success and his entire performance on the field will mostly reflect to the food he eats so it's wise to prepare a handful of food at a time .

- Hawks : He was built for this, Though he may not be the strongest it terms of strength but he makes up a lot when it comes to speed and agility; his fighting abilities is beyond average and it wouldn't take a genius to know that he has gained mastery over his quirk. Plus his feathers can serve as sensors to know more about the surroundings including the enemies that are present and probably their location. And he'd definitely be my main man during a chase or escape type of scenario.

- Aizawa : With Aizawa's erasure quirk and keen eyes it would be a powerful addition for the team. Plus he possesses incredible combat prowess and ingenuity with or without the use of his canceling quirk and his ability to restrain his opponents is another advantage.

- Taishiro Toyomitsu - My ultimate Defense Character. I don't think I have to explain any further with how his quirk works and the advantages of him being in the team.

Hmmm Compress is definitely unique imo, as in idt I’ve seen a superpower like it in other media. It’s an extremely useful quirk, but reasonably limited in a way that keeps it from being OP, and it really exemplifies how good control and use of a quirk > sheer power. Uuhhh there probably were a few unique ones in 1B but I don’t remember because the recent chapters were an info dump lol.

I feel like... if you’re going to Cop Academy you’re probably fairly. hm. set in your thinking lel and idt anyone has given indications of sympathizing with the other cause. Traitor!Shinsou is just a pet theory of mine that ties together the LOV’s propensity for targeting misfits, and the usefulness of his quirk, tho tbf I do think he is as dedicated as the other students. So. yeah. Idk Ochako read Marx already!

Ok I tried to come up with a fair evaluation and I just can’t because the heroes’ side just really doesn’t interest me at all so the main conflict about AFO vs OFA and their successors vs one another. is just. boring. LIKE. THERE’S A PLOT. IT’S CERTAINLY THERE!!!! I just don’t care enough about the plot or the characters driving it to give it much thought!!

That’s a sort-of lie, I have one thought. It’s that I wish Stain’s critique of the hero system were more consistently threaded through the series and that Hori didn’t interrupt it by getting rid of one of his narrative devices via “““redemption arc.”””” It was one of the most important examples we as readers had of Stain’s critique actually being valid, and it gave us a stake in the villains’ motivations (which are still not fleshed out very well, esp given the removal of the narrative device).

Other than that, I don’t care!! We’re going back to commie-posting on side tyvm

Oh wow! Thanks for the ask!! And yes, sort of? Todoroki has a LOT in common with Zuko. Abusive, trash can of a father. Mother is away because of said father. He has a sister, but she's super nice tho! He has a parallel with Zuko's 'honor', where instead of seeking that, he wants to be NOTHING like his father. At all costs. Even if it means using half his power instead of full. (And of course, another similarity is that his power ia fire, but he also has ice so yeah.)As for my favorite character.... That's honestly a though one. I'd guess I'd have to go with Midoriya Izuku (Deku) the main character. The main reason being that we are both anxious messes that want to help people even though it's out of our reaches (for now).Also, he's ridiculously self-less, kind, determined, and forgiving (kinda to a fault, really).
