#those demon vibes are getting a bit intense though

So my friend made me watch Jennifer’s Body on Friday. I immediately went looking for a particular type of fic I wanted to see; post-canon Needy seen from the outside by someone not in the know (because I am a slut for external PoVs). I failed to find any such fics on AO3.
It is now Sunday afternoon. This happened somewhere in the intervening time in two or three mad bursts of inspiration.
Enjoy, y’all.
If you meet the devil on the road (beware she doesn’t kill you)
(A truck driver on a Nebraskan highway meets a hitchhiker going his way.)
Joey had picked her up from the side of the I-80 at ten to seven; a lone girl walking alongside the double-barrelled stretch of asphalt and concrete as it cut through featureless fields and curved around low hills crowned with trees. It was almost eight now, and he was regretting his decision to pull over. He’d stopped because she’d looked hot - yeah, fine, he admitted it; he’d been thinking with his dick. But any thought of scoring had been left behind forty miles ago. Something about her made his skin crawl.
It wasn’t anything concrete. Nothing he could point to. Outwardly, she was just a girl; pretty and alone and probably barely legal. Blonde hair hung loose around her shoulders, a hairclip held her bangs back from one side of her face. The other half - the half on his side - fell down past her eye, hiding her expression from him when he glanced over. Her clothes were creased and worn; grubby jeans and a tank top that didn’t quite cover her belly, a dirty grey hoodie tied around her waist and battered sneakers spotted with mud and stains put up on the dash. A pendant hid in her cleavage, the chain tarnished, the pendant on the end impossible to see without craning his neck to look down her shirt in a way she couldn’t miss.
Joey might have let his eyes wander anyway, when he’d let her into the cab. Now, the back of his neck prickled at the thought of trying.
“So, uh, where you headed?” he asked. “West, you said?”
“Mmm.” Not a talkative one, this chick. He’d gone through half a dozen pick-up lines before the creep factor had started to settle in, and twice as many icebreakers since. None of them had managed to get her to glance away from the window, where trees whipped past under the last anaemic rays of twilight. His headlights lit the road in front of them in stark white, but shadows shifted in the gathering dark beyond their reach. Joey kept his attention on the road. He’d had more than one deer jump out and get splattered across the highway by his truck on this route, and roadkill always made his stomach turn.
“You, uh, you lose your last ride or somethin’?” he tried. She’d been forty miles out of Omaha City when he’d seen her, just walking along the side of the drainage ditch beside the freeway with her hands in her pockets as night started to fall. Fucking creepy, looking back. In hindsight, that should have been a warning sign. “You were pretty far outta town when I picked you up.”
Hazel eyes flicked over to him behind lank blonde hair. Her mouth twitched in what was either a smile or a sneer.
“Last guy got gropey,” she said shortly. “I ditched him.”
The suffocating silence descended again, and Joey fumbled with the radio to get away from it. It crackled to life, and the dying chords of some unrecognisable generic pop song faded away to an announcer.
“And now we’ve got a tribute to a band of legends taken from us before their time,” the guy said, his voice crackling with static. “A group of young heroes whose gruesome murder is still unsolved one month on, with the suspect still at large. Low Shoulder, this one’s for you; god rest your souls. Here’s Through The Trees.”
Before it even finished the opening bar, the girl snarled and smashed a fist into the radio, killing the music and leaving a jagged crack through the plastic display. A drop of blood swelled on her knuckle, and she sucked it off absently, tongue flicking out.
“Hey!” Joey barked, forgetting his discomfort in the heat of the damage to his truck. “What the fuck, bitch?”
She turned to glare at him, and her eyes caught the headlights of an approaching car coming the other way. For a second, they looked yellow of all the fuckin’ things, and the shadows stretched over her cheeks to paint a yawning maw. He swore and jerked away from her, yanking on the steering wheel as he flinched. The truck swerved, for a moment scraping along the guardrail with an ear-splitting shriek-
He yanked the wheel back the other way, terror screaming at him, and braked down to twenty. Heart hammering in his ears, he gripped the wheel with white knuckles and waited for his breathing to settle, throwing wary glances at the passenger sitting placidly beside him.
She hadn’t even raised an eyebrow at the near-crash. Just settled back down into a slouch with her feet up on the dash and her attention turned outward to the woods beyond the window.
“I fucking hate that song,” she said, her tone level and venomous. “And they were creeps. Good riddance.”
“Whoa, hey, they got murdered, y’know! What’ve you got against Low Shoulder, anyway?” The words came out before he could catch himself and earned him a contemptuous sneer. Then her eyes went distant. The corner of her mouth twitched upward. A smile like a lizard’s. Or a rattlesnake’s.
“Let’s just say I’ve got a chip on my shoulder when it comes to those assholes,” she said. Her lopsided smirk was twisted and stretched a little too far for comfort, a clingfilm wrap of humour over something dark and fucked-up and ugly that echoed in her tone.
Joey swallowed, at a loss for what to do. He’d been seeing things; had to have been. Just headlights and shadows. It hadn’t been real. But still, all the anger was gone, and any desire to get in her face had gone with it. He just wanted her out of his cab now. He wanted her gone - hell, he wanted to be gone himself, because he could already tell she was going to linger here like a bad smell. It felt like there was a stench to her that would cling.
It hadn’t been there when he’d stopped to pick her up. He’d been tired and missing his girlfriend and she’d looked hot and smelled like perfume and sex when she swung herself into the passenger seat beside him. But at some point she’d stopped paying attention to him and the glamour had worn off. The unease had started building. And with it had come the stench, wafting into his hindbrain without bothering to go through his nostrils on the way.
It took him back in time to when he was fourteen years old, tagging along on a hunting trip with his dad and uncle. To when they’d found a deer carcass that some wild boar or cougar had killed, half eaten by predators and scavengers and even other deer, its ribs standing out from the gory viscera inside it. It’d been the first time he’d seen death like that, and he’d thrown up at the smell.
This girl made him think of that deer. His nose couldn’t smell it, but his brain could. The reek of blood and rotting flesh.
“Where you gettin’ off, anyway?” he ventured, taking one shaky hand off the wheel to fumble around in the door pocket for the ginger sweets. Maybe they’d help with the rising anxious nausea. He wasn’t motion sick, but wanting to hurl was wanting to hurl, right?
The girl didn’t look away from the dark window and the trees flashing past. “You can drop me off at Paxton,” she said, level and bored. As if she hadn’t smashed up his radio in a fit of rage ten seconds ago.
“Paxton?” Joey’s brow wrinkled, incredulous. “Paxton’s a fuckin’ nowhere-town! It’s barely on the map!” Hell, he only knew it because he stopped there for coffee sometimes on his route up and down the I-80. Then again, did he care, if it meant she was getting off?
For some reason, his outburst seemed to amuse the girl. She snorted, rolling her head to look at him through her lashes.
“Yeah,” she drawled. “Not the first shitty little town in the middle of nowhere I’ve been to. Won’t be the last, either. I’ve got... friends there.”
“Friends, huh?” Joey didn’t buy it, but like hell he was gonna call her on it. “Cool, cool.”
Her grin was a bone-white flash in the evening gloom. “From online. They’re into some niche stuff you can only find in a few places. I like to meet people in the community and chat.”
Some ancient, primal instinct, long-buried at the back of Joey’s mind since he’d grown out of childhood nightmares, curled up in his hindbrain and screamed at the way she said that last word.
“Yeah. Yeah, cool. Good to know.” He did the math in his head. Fuck. Another two or three hours in the cab with her. His foot pressed down further on the gas. It was worth the risk of a ticket if it’d get him to Paxton sooner. “Hey, uh, you choose the music then, how ‘bout that?”
“Don’t feel like it,” she drawled, flexing her hand. He couldn’t see any more blood from where she’d punched the radio. Must’ve been a shallow cut. “I prefer the silence.”
“I, uh. I’d prefer to have something on,” he tried desperately.
“Ain’t that a kicker.” No sympathy whatsoever. He might as well have been a drowning rat for all she cared.
The miles rolled past. The hours wore on. She didn’t speak, and Joey kept his mouth shut. The stench of dead things thickened, and her breathing rasped in his ears, but he didn’t take his eyes off the road. Two more hours, he told himself. Ninety minutes. Another sixty miles. Half an hour to go. The time felt like it dragged past and flew at once. Things swam in the corners of his vision, out beyond the light of his headlamps. A long-haired guy with star necklace and a guitar neck embedded in his throat, staring blankly from beside a roadsign, gone when he double-took. A manscaped asshole with a bowie knife hilt-deep in his chest, glimpsed for a second in the wing mirror before the shadows swallowed him. A pale boy in a waterlogged tux, his neck a ruined mess, seen through the trees staring earnestly at Miss Creep.
And a girl. She showed up more than once, the girl. Blazing hot. Black hair, gorgeous face, fantastic body. And blood. So much blood. She was drenched in it; her hair, her shirt, her shorts. And most of all, in the middle of her chest, a great sodden stain so dark it was black under the streetlights. She was sitting on top of a truck that passed him going the other way, she was flagging down a hitchhiker on the other side of the road, she was lying posed on the guardrail like a camgirl, playing with her lip. Never in the light. Never where he could see her. Always just a quick flash in the corner of his eye, appearing as the line between his high beams and the shadows off to his side swept by.
By the time the sign for Paxton glared bright white light back at him from the high-vis paint, Joey was a quivering mass of nerves and his teeth ached from how he’d been grinding them. He wanted nothing more than to get out of the stinking cab, find someplace brightly-lit and loud and preferably full of booze and park himself there until sunrise. Except that would involve staying in the same town as Spooky, and no fucking way was he doing that. No, on second thought he’d put as many miles as he could between them and maybe stop in at a church to pray to Jesus or something. But right after that, first big city he went through, the brightly-lit bar was happening.
“H-here’s your stop,” he forced out through a jaw that had almost locked up stiff from how hard he’d been clenching it. “Good, uh. Good luck with your friends.”
She looked at him with that same lizard-like, stretched-out smile.
“I’m looking forward to seeing them, yeah.” Again, that trick of the light that made hazel eyes look yellow. “Who knows?” she added playfully. “They might get lucky too.”
He watched her walk off with a sigh of relief and felt like a pussy for it as he drove away. By the time he changed onto the I-76, he was second-guessing himself. What had she really done, anyway? Been quiet, not as talkative as he’d been expecting? Glared at him a couple times? Shown a flash of temper and split her knuckle on the radio at a song she didn’t like? He’d psyched himself out, that was all. The hallucinations and shit, just a result of a bad kebab, not enough sleep and some jumping at shadows. She’d just been a girl. Just an ordinary girl.
A week later, he heard the news out of Paxton. Six dead. Members of an occult club at the local high school. Brutalised and torn apart, their remains left strewn all over a riverbank in the woods. Last seen on footage from a camera trap, hustling a teenage girl through the trees down near the South Platte river where they’d been found.
Joey looked at the girl in the photo and recognised her face.
Just an ordinary girl.
He wondered how many dead would be following her next time someone stopped to give her a ride.

Ehheheheh
I really love your drabbles and stories and series and like- I'm begging do you have recs for fics and blogs who you like? Dunno if you've already done this or not, I'm super sorry if I've wasted your time, but like I really like your work and those audios you based the charmed serial killer Simon series off of are exactly my type so the thought process behind my ask was basically-
Okay, they've got WOHDJWHF (positive) taste in audios, their series and writing is just to die for, I'm pretty sure if I wanted to ask someone for fic recs you'd be the perfect choice so like
I beg
Ehehhehe…ᘛ⁐̤ᕐᐷ
Hi!!!! Ohhh do I have recs. Sooooo many recs.
This is not an exhaustive list obvs. If you want something specific - like a vibe or a tag, I can absolutely add some more. Same for specific audios, music, tv….
For blogs, obvs the loves of my life @ceilidho, @ohbo-ohno, @eilidh-eternal, @luminousbeings-crudematter. I know I’m forgetting some. It’s not because I don’t love anyone or their work, my brain is just a disorganized filing cabinet.
I think all or most of those blogs have AO3 accounts so PLEASE go to their blogs, find their stuff, and check out their ao3s because OOF
Also on AO3, I really like anything MildLimerance writes.
“Surviving You” by WhisperedWords12
BennyHatter’s “COD Shifter au” is one I’ve read REPEATEDLY. Really good world building and character studies
“I’ll give you anything everything if you want things” by imneednap (HOLY HELL THIS ONE. I read it twice in a row. It… it sent me on the obsessive Johnny path)
“Learning Experience” series by AvaLoren
“Mine & Yours” series by Artemis_Neardos (so intense I always get a headrush)
Now for audios….
Badjhur has sort of become synonymous with COD audios, or a lot of smut audios in general I think?
Run_N-Coke has a great portfolio. (His was the first smut audio I EVER listened to. I had the volume up to high, got spooked, and dropped my phone on my face. Forgave him though)
AmbroseKincaidVA
ScotsLibrarian (he has dom Soap audios to DIE for)
Akuma_asmr
AntiqueVA
BloomingVA
RaidynReborn
Okay and this one is a bit more obscure I think (?) and also please be mindful of his tags because he does NOT fuck around. But if you like REALLY dark audios, Evil-scotsman. A good starter would probs be his sleep paralysis demon one. Gave me some Soap Thoughts™️ that I’m planning to expand on soon :)

Back On My Next Generation Shenanigans
Angeline "Andi" Jocelyn Herondale: The first Clary and Jace child. She has curly blond hair, freckles, and green eyes. She's very charming, but she's also been going through this life long crisis that the Shadowhunter's are in a never ending battle with the demons that will never end through the generations, only ending when the demons win; she's a bit of a natural pessimist. She thinks a lot about society and such, looking into the mundane forms of government, hoping it would be better then the Shadowhunter ones and was just like these all kind of suck, society sucks, I should make up my own form of government. She fights demons with knives, like a strange amount of knives; she'll hold like seven at once and slice away, she'll throw them and then pull some more out of nowhere. Thanks to this existential dread for her and the future generations thing, she ends up coming up with theories on how to just kill all demons forever, doing all kinds of research and experiments. With this, things get kind of messy. She also is kind of thinking about starting a coup, to overthrow the Shadowhunter form of government and implant a better one, which also gets kind of messy. Like I said, she's very charming, so she forms a whole group of people. Honestly, since she's so ambitious and willing to do many things to fulfil those ambitions, I think she might end up as a sort of antagonist, which should give an interesting dynamic with her family and friends. I can also see Shadowhunter's being like 'is it really surprising considering her grandfather' even tho she has a completely different set of ideals.
Jasper Robert Herondale: The second clace child. He has curly red hair, freckles, and black eyes. Much to surely everyone's surprise, he's a very quiet person, and to nobody's surprise, he would rather die then share even a hint of his true feelings. He gives big gentle giant vibes; man's just over here looming in the corner freaking people out, but the people who know him are just like 'nah, he's fine, he's just happy to be here'. He's the only one that got the tall genes, standing tall over all his other short siblings. He fights demons with a sledgehammer. When he was little he got kidnapped, but instead of pulling a Mina, he actually got traumatized. It was a mundane that kidnapped him, which is why it took a while to find him because nobody thought it was just some random mundane that took him. The mundane was going to sell him and some other kids to some rich buyer, but when the Shadowhunter's stormed the area to get Jasper they freaked out and started killing the kids as some sort of last minute cover up, not wanting to be caught with ties to the market cause then they'll just be assassinated in prison. But his parents got to Jasper before they could kill him, now the last survivor. This resulted in Jasper having a bit of a savior complex, feeling like he needs to save everyone since he feels like all those kids died because of him and he couldn't do anything about it, him, a Shadowhunter in training. It didn't help that he was naturally protective to begin with, now it was just twice as intense. This complex should lead to interesting thing when Andi goes all rouge.
Samuel Lucian Herondale: The third clace child. He has curly blond hair, freckles, and green eyes. He's the artist of his siblings, often drawing made up, disturbing looking creatures, along with other strange looking things. He's got this ever growing, hard to understand imagination, and it makes him come across as a bit strange and awkward, but he does have a lot of cool comics he's drawn but never published, though he wants to. The way he ends up fighting demons is sort of unusual; turns out, some of those creepy looking creatures he draws he can make come to life to fight alongside him, his parents angel blood coming through. Though he does have a weapon as well, that being a seraph blade. Despite it being angel power, and despite everyone literally knowing his parents whole Angel deal, Shadowhunter's are still side eyeing him for how demonic his creatures look. They're literally pulling out his family tree like 'oh wow Tessa the warlock is your great great great great grandma I bet that's those demon powers' or whatever. He's basically gaslit into thinking he's a demon, despite his parents being like 'it's probably just our angel powers but even if it's demon powers that's okay too'. But Samuel was already insecure, and this just fed into it. But ironically enough, he can't hate this power, making friends with the little creatures he makes; he just hates himself. I think out of all the Herondale kids he understands the most of why Andi went rouge.
Marigold "Mae" Celina Herondale: The youngest clace child. She has curly red hair, freckles, and gold eyes; kinda looks fox like now that I think about it. She's very quick witted, can talk on and on for hours and never run out of quips. Super competitive as well; whatever she gets into she will work herself to the bone to be the best. Although when she gets competitive, it just feels fun to her really, something to get passionate about, but then most people end up taking it wrong and get all heated about it or feel overwhelmed or something of that like, and she doesn't know how to correct it, especially in the moment. She fights demons with dual machete's. Mae often struggles with that connecting to people thing, but then there was the time when she actually connected with a demon more than a person. It was some random demon that could talk, and they were fighting but they both got sort of competitive about it and one thing led to another and now she and this demon are sort of besties. This led to her having a bit of a crisis of her befriending this demon so easily when she can't do the same with people, wondering what that makes her and if she's even worthy of being a Shadowhunter. Then there's the whole sneaking around to see her demon friend and worrying about when it came down to it what side would she be on. Honestly, she's more worried about what Andi will do to her and her demon friend then the Clave.
Noelle Rebecca Lightwood: Simon and Isabelle's first child. She has black hair and brown eyes. She's very much a poised, calm person. She's an introvert to the point where people think she's rude, but really she just can't handle socializing for very long, making her words seem clipped in dismissive, which she always ends up feeling guilty about. But she has a bunch of random, niche interests, that if you get her going on one of those she'll talk your ear off. She fights demons with a bow and arrow; Alec taught her. She's a bit of a glass child really, as her two siblings prove to be a bit of a handful, and she's seen as the 'easy to handle one'. Simon and Isabelle of course don't do this on purpose, they just have their hands full with the other two, and Noelle ends up festering in this. This leads to her physically unable to ask for help, not knowing how or if it's even allowed. She has all these insecurities and feelings she desperately needs help sorting out, and other people are always like 'wow your so put together and independent', making her feel this expectation and driving her into further isolation so people don't know she's not put together or think she's too needy.
George Maxwell Lightwood: The middle sizzy child, who definitely thought his name was inspired by 'George Lucas' before they told him about George Lovelace. He has brown hair and blue eyes; Will's eyes live on once again. He tends to feel things very deeply, doesn't know how to take things causally. Everything makes him feel these intense emotions, and people tell him he needs to 'calm down', or even think he's faking it, but that's just how he feels. He's also big into movies; he remembers every detail of every movie he's ever seen, researching the background of the movies as well. He has a multitude of screenplays he has written that he thinks aren't good enough to go on to become an actual movie. But his ability to feel things deeply assist him in writing these screenplays, able to insert such feeling in his characters and the presentation of situations. He fights demons with a seraph blade. George secretly doesn't really want to be a Shadowhunter; he wants to go off and make movies and such. But he feels guilty about it, what with feeling like if he takes irf he's betraying all of humanity. And there's also the stigma of his dad, Simon, being originally a mundane. People would say things like it was in his 'blood' to be a mundane, and that attitude would also go to his siblings, so he keeps quiet.
Lorelei Maryse Lightwood: The last sizzy child. She has brown hair and dark brown gold eyes. She's very much a free spirit, always running off and getting into shit, always disappearing and coming back after some strange misadventure. She just could never find it in herself to stay in one place. Girl will literally be missing for like a week and show up with jar of blood or whatever and is like 'I can explain'. She's a drummer, a very good one, hoping from band to band because she always seems to get involved in the shittiest bands who she insists 'have potential' but then they always end up falling through. That's how she gets into a lot of her misadventures really; she gives people the benefit of the doubt way too much, she looks for and finds people's best selves, which while sweet, can get her involved with bad people. She fights demons with this spiky baseball bat. Like I said, this trusting nature of hers gets her into trouble, but the biggest trouble she's gotten in is when she accidently got involved with some small that worships the demons and think they should take over the world. Now she knows way too much about this strange, ridiculously over funded cult, and is trying very hard to stop them while not telling anyone she has ties to such a treason. Worse yet, she ends up falling in love with someone in this organization, which makes things all the more complicated.
Eleanor Jia Penhallow: Helen and Aline's first child. She has black hair, freckles, and blue eyes. This was a planned adoption, a Shadowhunter orphan whose parents died fighting demons, now in need of a home. She's a bit of an actress, being able to disguise as different people as well as characters of her own creation. She really throws herself into these roles, using it to find out information and such, a bit of a spy in her own right really, pulling information for the Clave and for her allies. She's quick and able to read situations and people quickly, adding to her ability to act in difficult situations. This also leads her to know more then she probably wants to know, even of her friends, which can make her feel like she's being intrusive even when she's just looking at them. She fights demons with a double edged blade. A lot of the time she has trouble pulling herself out of said roles, sometimes feeling like she doesn't have a true personality and that even when she's not in a role and she supposedly 'herself' that it's not really her, that she's still acting. This leads to a bit of an identity complex, not really sure who she really is at a 'default', if the way she is is just another role or if it's natural, because she doesn't know.
Edmund Liam Penhallow: Heline's next child. He has curly black hair and brown eyes. This was more of an accidental adoption, a Shadowhunter abused by his parents that ran away to the Los Angeles institute at the age of only 9, of whom Helen and Aline get very attached to. He's very cautious and observant. He likes research; he knows every bit of Shadowhunter history and Mundane history, he knows how to fight with weapons he doesn't even wield, he learns about random things that one would think would never come up in a situation but when it does he's ready to info dump much to everyone's bafflement; guy's just a bundle of knowledge about basically everything. He fights demons with this hammer and nail thing, both using the hammer to hit the demons and for hitting the nails at a long distance at the demons. His parents were very much not careful with him. They put runes on him too young, they threw him in front of demons too young saying that was his training, and so on. The final straw that caused him to run away was when they had somehow got it in their head that he had the potential to talk to ghosts. His parents had heard of the Herondale's connection to ghosts, and one time they saw Edmund muttering to himself so they were like 'clearly he has the potential to talk to ghosts as well'. Edmund tried to correct this, as he very much could not talk to ghosts, but they just threw him into some sort of morgue for 'training', refusing to let him out until he made some sort of connection to a ghost. He tried to lie, say he did, but his parents saw through the lie every time. Two weeks passed before he gave into hunger and began eating the only thing edible in that room; the dead bodies. Another week passed, and at that point he thought his parents weren't ever going to let him out, but then they did. It was then that he ran away, the taste of dead people never truly leaving his mouth. Honestly, the way he saw it, his parents jumped the gun a lot on him, doing things to him without properly understanding, being so reckless with him. So this sort of fed into his obsessive 'I must know every detail before doing anything' thing he does, as he doesn't want to be like them, and he thinks this will prevent people from being hurt. I also think the whole eating dead people thing definitely led to an eating disorder of some kind, unable to eat a lot of foods without tasting dead people.
Andrew "Andres" Blackthorn Rosales: Eldest kiearktina child, born from Cristina and Mark. He has curly black hair and golden eyes. He adores the forest life, wants to explore every part of it. Though, the forest didn't naturally like him back at first, as he didn't have that natural connection to it like the Fae. But he learned the ways of the forest, able to navigate it like no one else, and now the forest likes him back. He wants to travel the world and explore all sorts of different terrains, map them out, understand them all. The guy has crazy survivalist skills he's both learned about and discovered through trial and error, and he can and will go on rants about them at any given moment. He fights demons with this mysterious sword the forest gave him as a gift that definitely won't lead to any sort of plot line don't worry about it. The Fae disapprove of his entire existence, looking at him in a sort of 'what is he even doing here'. He's only partially Fae, and they don't consider that to be enough, even though Andres feels more connected to the Fae then he does with Shadowhunter's. They don't even really consider him to be Kieran's son, despite the many, many times Kieran has made it very clear he is. They pick on him and do cruel tricks on him a lot, nothing to permanently damage him physically, since he does have that amount of protection from Kieran's name, but it does take it's toll on him mentally. His parents know what's going on, but he never tells him who did it.
Juniper "Junie" Kingson Rosales: Youngest kiearktina child, born from Cristina and Kieran. She has curly blue hair and silver eyes. She's very much attracted to the city life, lowkey hating the forest life, not vibing in their cottage core lifestyle; very much the opposite of her brother. Girl is super into architecture, learns about the different styles from all over the world, she's obsessed. She has doodles of her own architecture, and she wants to make them a reality someday. She fights demons with a three balled flail. She isn't considered to be a true heir, as Cristina is considered a consort. But that's good for her because she didn't want to be the heir anyway; life in the fOrESt? Forever? No thank you. Give her that industrialization. But there does need to be an heir, and Kieran very much does not want to have a child with some other Fae woman just to have one, so as time wears on it's looking like an illegitimate heir is looking better than no heir. That would skip over her brother and to her, because even though Kieran of course sees them both equally as his children, she has Kieran's blood in her, so the Fae would consider her first. Of course, Kieran has siblings it would go to first, but even the slight possibility of it ever going to her puts her on edge. She feels it in the other Fae's eyes, that they hate her, but they'll take her as a last resort. She feels it in the way they talk to her, like they want to hurt her so bad, but don't just in case she does end up ruling over them. As such, being around most Fae make her uncomfortable, and would rather be with the Shadowhunter's.
Benjamin "Benji" Livia Blackthorn: The only blackstairs child; I'd imagine after raising all of his siblings, Julian might opt to spend all his energy into one kid rather then several. He has curly brown hair, freckles, and blue green eyes. He has a love for making weapons, not just weapons that already exist, but ones he thinks up himself. He'll experiment with new ideas and even fashion to better suit the individual person. He's very passionate about it, leading him to come off as very intense. He'll go out and actively seek out demons to test his prototype weapons on alone. It's a very dangerous thing that Emma and Julian have desperately tried to stop, but Benji is incredibly stubborn and tenacious, a consequence of having Emma and Julian's genes. But when he's fighting with other people, he's less likely to just test something he hasn't before, as he doesn't want to put other people at risk, so when he fights demons with other people he switches between a multitude of weapons he's tested before that were successful. People are very wary of Benji's weapons because they're breaking tradition; he's mixing metals that have never been mixed. People call it a disgrace to the Angel's gifts, saying he's basically spitting in the Angel's face; so as you can imagine, Benji isn't very popular. There was this one time when he was younger that he was told some kids were going to meet up, so he met up with them without telling his parents because he didn't think it would take that long, only for to be locked in a closet in their house for like a day before Emma and Julian found him. The kid wasn't trying to kill him, the kid was planning to let him out after a few days, but he didn't tell Benji that. It was a very traumatizing event, and he became rather claustrophobic and suspicious of people who are nice to him after that.

I’m diehard gwyn fan / gwynriel l but is it strange that I kinda expect that I’ll love elucien’s book more than theirs? I just feel like their book will have amazing character development for them both and that it’ll be extremely romancey / swoony (cause I don’t expect Azriel to be working hard for the girl but Lucien on the other hand. . . 🤤)
I definitely get what you're saying! Since Elain and Lucien are quite a bit different from those that fit in with the Night Court their book could bring a completely different vibe to the series. Feysand and Nessian's stories were a bit dark, a bit violent, a bit edgy. I think Gwynriel will be similar. Both she and Az share similar feelings of being unworthy (Az to an intense degree, like Nesta) and since he's got the most rage / darkness out of all the characters, I imagine his side of things will feel heavy, also like Nesta's did). Though Feysand and Nessian (and I'm guessing Gwynriel too) definitely had their fair share of soft moments and banter (we've already seen it with Gwynriel) Elucien reads as completely different. Definitely more of a Bridgerton / P & P vibe, soft and gentle at times, passionate at others but not the heaviness / darkness the other couples had. Elain craves sunshine and light and I think that is reflected in her personality. She doesn't want things to pull her under and I think that's why, though she initially struggled for a few months after being made, she recovered pretty quickly after that. Even with Graysens rejection, even with her fathers death, she kept trying to move on. She's not completely over her trauma but she's not trying to let it rule her. Same with Lucien, he's had so much happen to him but he keeps moving forward, he's never let himself sink into depression. They'll get banter too of course, Lucien is the King of Sass and we see hints of that coming from Elain but yeah, they just come across as a lighter couple which leaves room for more romance (since they won't need to spend so much time overcoming their demons) and they are both so formal / proper at times so they're less likely to jump right into sex together as a band aid for their emotions the way Nessian did which means we could maybe see more of a slow burn with him courting her. I'm not saying they'll WANT it to be a slow burn, for all we know Elain is embarrassed by how much she wants Lucien and that's why she pulls back, but neither is the type to make any sudden moves so they'll probably both be waiting for the other to give them a sign until (I'm guessing) Elain finally snaps 😂

Requesting a Hazbin Hotel Matchup!
I would prefer a male character! (Despite that, I am an ace lesbian. I just wanna indulge my comphet fictional crushes iykwim + i prefer more of the male cast in hazbin. I totally understand if you'd prefer to match me up with a female character) I use she/they pronouns.
A few personality traits of mine would be hardworking, clumsy, compassionate, and playful. I am a workaholic, and often work myself to the bone. Ironically, to others, I try my best to ensure they don't overwork themselves. I'm a bit of a people pleaser to the point where I jeopardize my mental health, but I'm working on it. I'm decently good at appearing mature and socially adept (if a bit anxious) when around strangers, but around those close to me, I admit I am a bit of a baby, being playful.
I have ADHD, a Depressive Disorder, and strongly believe I have Autism. Some jokes, sarcasm, and flirting goes iver my head, but if I notice, I do like to play along. I like cutesy pastel colored clothing in a sort of streetwear style. Like, cargo pants are great but I also love cute skirts. I'm an artist and a gamer. I like to animate and am working towards developing video games! My love language is definitely physical touch and quality time. Hugs are important to me. I like being close to people I care about, even if we're not doing the same thing. Parallel play is peak to me.
My music taste swings around wildly. I've always been a sucker for vocaloid and musical theatre songs. Lately, I've been listening to Epic The Musical and Calliope Mori. I love to sing and play the violin, so any music that I can vibe to, I like. I like plushies quite a bit, even though it's childish. My sense of humor is nonsensical even to me. I laugh a lot, basically, from dark jokes to antihumor.
I'm unsure of my demon form, to be honest. I'd probably have something to do with video games or art, and my favourite animals are small round birds (like the white-browed tit-warbler), jellyfish, and frogs. Feel free to describe my sinner form however you want! (I am short though)
I hope this isn't too much haha I just realized how much I rambled
I don't really want full NSFW headcanons, but some spiciness/non-explicit stuff is good.
Thank you!
-👾 (so i can find this later)
Your Match Up Is. . .
Lucifer!
Tumblr media
You probably met him at the Hotel.
Now, Lucifer wasn’t immediately obsessed with you. No, no, he had his daughter to focus on.
However, you caught his attention soon enough.
It was actually while working on the Hotel rebuilding that you caught his eye.
With you darting around from place to place, making sure everything got done while also making sure everyone else took a break, you made yourself known.
Unfortunately, no one made sure you took a break so he took that role upon himself.
It probably took some convincing but eventually he got you to do it.
Over time you two got closer and closer.
It was one of those things were everyone else realized you were both in deep for each other before either of you did.
This is because neither of you recognized when the other was flirting. . . like at all.
It would probably be Angel or maybe even Charlie saddling up to one of you going, “Soooo, when are you gonna ask them out?”
Immediate denial followed up by very intense analyzation of every single one of your interactions with each other because what are they talki. . . Ooooh, you see it now.
It’d be a while before you two got together.
When you did though, prepare for heaven in hell.
Wow, Lucifer sure is a catch.
He is so sweet and so caring.
He is able to recognize signs that your depression is getting worse because of his own and together you’re able to help each other through the spirals.
You’re also able to give each other advice that actually works with you AuDHD brains because there is no way that man is neurotypical.
Get ready to be able to infodump any time you want to and be listened to with the most attention. He is asking all the questions.
You’re making a game? What genre? What animation style? What’s the main story line? What’s that side character that you made too detailed of a background for? Tell him everything.
You like drawing? He likes making ducks. Can you draw him ducks for him to make when he’s in a funk?
And you have plushes! They can be friends with his ducks.
If he hears you listening to a song from a musical, it’s over. You’re not doing whatever it was you were doing. You are now obligated to reenact the scene from him.
He loves dancing with you.
Sometimes though, he can get a bit in a Gomez Addams-like mood and he’ll just start kissing your arms, then your neck, the one thing leads to another.
This man is big on oral.
Cuddles after. Always.
He is a big cuddler.
This man is so touch starved it’s not even funny.
He intends to make up for it so a hand is almost always on you. He is always in your space.
You are never falling asleep without being cuddled again.

MC ask game random answers 2 (rapid-fire mode)
Link to OG post! Feel free to ask me to answer any other questions, from that OG post or otherwise! Or to elaborate on any of these!
Answers are about Auva, my obey me MC. Basically she’s human, 20, aroace, ADORES her seven demons, and like,, changes the tone of the story from polyam-coded romance-ish to straight up found family/big QPR vibe.
Assorted questions from the general info section:
4. What kind of magic do they possess?
She’s got a few assorted spells from her pacts. She doesn’t learn to use any of them until like,,, some point after the time travel thing. Maybe in year two. That remains to be seen. It’s spells that have something to do with each pacted avatar’s abilities/values/something they want her to be able to do. Plus she got lay on hands and chill touch from Lilith after meeting her ghost. Thematic choices from her lol.
5. Which deadly sin best aligns with them? Which do they embody the least?
At first glance, dead tie between gluttony and sloth. She’s a foodie and bonds with Beel about it, but it becomes a gluttony thing because it’s not just a love for food, it’s an impulse to try to fill an emotional void with overindulgence. Not just food! Also games, sleep, reading, watching stuff, escapism in general.
For sloth, it’s just that she is not very inclined to move or do much when she doesn’t have to. She’s a homebody who LOVES oversleeping, and puts so much effort into optimizing necessary tasks so that she can spend the least amount of energy at any time. She’s careful not to go so far into those tendencies so as to make other people’s lives worse by being lazy, but she knows that’s a thing that she could fall into easily if she’s not careful.
She LOOKS like she embodies sloth the most, but if you examine her motivations, Gluttony juuust takes first place.
For what she embodies the least… depends on how we define them. Without question it’s Lust if we’re counting that as just… a sexual thing. Because she’s aroace. She experiences no sexual attraction, and if we’re equating lust to that then she’s fully immune to it. However, if we’re defining lust as intense wanting, fixation, staking your identity on cravings and goals and passions, then it’s higher up. She feels very deeply, and makes a point of being careful about remaining balanced and reasonable about that.
Greed too. If we define it as just a money thing, then she doesn’t really feel it. Nothing like how Mammon does, at least. She is not an impulse spender nor a hoarder. But she does sometimes notice herself getting a little bit more possessive than she’s comfortable with, and having to immediately back all the way off and examine where the hell that came from. So in that way, she’s got a bit of greed.
Envy as well is like that for her. She feels it in ONE specific situation. But then again, it never manifests in a way that would urge her to make someone else’s life worse. She’s never “if I can’t have it no one can” when she’s jealous, like classic envy, but instead like “oh… but me too though?”
With that in mind, probably envy is the one Auva embodies the least.
7. What is their favourite place, and what do they love so much about it?
Her demons’ arms. No question. She pretty much always wants one of them to hug her. She takes every opportunity to be in someone’s arms. It’s just nice. Warm and comfy and safe. If someone is holding her, she can’t possibly forget that they love her. Unfortunately, this is a pretty easy thing for her to forget otherwise. RSD sucks. Her history of touch deprivation sucks even worse.
(If we want an actual location, then there’s a few. Her bed, the library, the observatory, anywhere she can be in water, that sort of thing. But really, she would be happy in any random place as long as one of her demons is holding her.
9. Do they attend RAD? What is their role there? Best subjects, club activities?
Yes, she’s a student at RAD. She’s good at languages. AWFUL at numbers. Good with theory, be it science or magic. Really likes potions, because it’s kind of like baking. Working with spell components as well. Math, phys ed, and seductive speechcraft are all the bane of her existence however. She’s got dyscalculia, she’s NOT fast, she’s aroace, and her charisma stat would be like,, -3 probably if she were a D&D character. She only succeeds in that class on the days when demon classmates are trying to practise on her and she’s NOT supposed to let it work. That’s very easy for her! She isn’t even fully sure what they’re expecting her to react to lol.
In terms of club activities… if RAD has a choir she would do almost anything to join it! Otherwise uhhh… do they have D&D in the Devildom? Maybe a GSA? An astronomy club, a book club, anything like that? She likes those.
If there’s nothing like that, it’s okay though. She’s more than happy hanging around with her demons at home. She wouldn’t want to do more than 2 clubs anyway, she doesn’t want to be TOO busy.

Expansion on my thoughts on: The Evil Dead Franchise
I wanted to expand on my point of view on Evil Dead Rise, since I don’t think I explained myself very well in my last post. This isn’t me saying this franchise is the most personal to me, or saying that this new one is an insult to it, because neither are true. I’m just trying to reflect on why it felt I didn’t engage as much as previous entries. Everything I’ve written on here is just my subjective opinion, nothing more and that’s not changing now.
I’ll even concede that over time, this one will warm up to me as much as the others ones. I think it’s possible...because I had to do the same for Evil Dead 2. When I first saw it, about 15 years ago or so, I didn’t know what to make of it.  Sure the wacky tone was fun. But I was taken out of it by the fact that this man was literally being tormented by his murdered girlfriend’s corpse. I felt this was because I was relatively new to horror films to that point, so “having fun with it” felt like like an alien concept given the subject matter. It wasn’t really my gateway horror film. I can think of a few more accurate examples, most notable the original Predator. And sure, I was tricked by my parents to rent Gremlins when I was little thinking it was another kids film. I DID NOT enjoy it at that time, for obvious reasons. But Evil Dead 2, after I sampled a couple more with a lot more serious tone, had a playfulness that felt like a good anchor to came back to.
It helped me worked up the courage to watch the original, which I avoided until my last year of undergrad, because I heard it was so intense. When I did, I could take it. I was more experienced and granted, it showed it’s age with it’s cheapness a bit. But either way, I was able to vibe with it more then if I watched it instead of the sequel. And I believed it was because other horror films I worked up to seeing before it helped me to.
Army of Darkness I liked straightaway, along with Ash VS Evil Dead. Sure, it did some changes to the lore I felt off(The immortal maker of the book, Ruby, being played by a much-easier-on-the-eyes-than-any-deadite Lucy Lawless, for example), but it was consistent with the tone of 2 and 3, and felt like an true continuation of Ash’s story, selfishness and stupidity included. And for the 2013 remake, at the danger of repeating myself, while it wasn’t mind-blowing, I respected for committing to making me wince more than any movie I’ve ever seen. I didn’t even take issue that they had a final girl except the more rare final boy because I believed Mia more than earned the right to survive. Also that Jane Levy gave the best performance in the movie up to that point.
That actually brings me to my first reason here. If we were going by what franchise entries in order of release, the last one before Rises was the TV show. So the next entry having a darker tone again made sense for keeping things fresh. While for me, the last Evil Dead thing I watch before this was the remake, which had a similar tone. So, even though it didn’t make sense, it felt like I was getting more of the same, which wasn’t entirely true.
To be fair, I did like the new lore connected to the new Necronomicon. I did like the performance given by the mom played by Alyssa Sutherland, both pre and post-possession. You generally don’t need a main villain for this scenario but given the point of this story, it made sense. The subtext of re-connecting with your old family for guidance, only to realize how it’s messed up beyond repair in cycle of abuse so it’s better to cut ties and save who you can. It’s one of those subjects where in a demon-less real world setting, you can see unfolding more or less the same over years instead of hours. The gore was good. Although am I the only one let down that the cheese grater didn’t do more damage to her leg? Maybe that’s the real problem. I’m too much of a cynical asshole.
Yeah, maybe that’s it.
With the energy and tone this franchise is known for, giving any kind of happy or even bittersweet ending doesn’t feel right. There always felt like a nihilistic reason why each of these movies had their energies and tone. “These people are going to die horribly due to their own stupidity! Ain’t it great?!” I don’t mind if there’s a metaphor or point to the story of an Evil Dead movie. I just think it shouldn’t take less time to solve than Ash did. Not because no one deserves it, but I don’t believe these demons would so easily let anyone go. The happiness, if any admittedly, felt unearned.
I guess that’s my real point. It won’t feel right if this is the last we see of Beth and Kassie. Sure, it made sense to end where it did, but I don’t believe either of them is okay. I want to know more about how they’re holding up. But who knows. Maybe I’d like for them to stumble upon the cabin at the beginning years later. It’d be very interesting to see how Kassie, a kid who was exposed and lost her family to these things at a very young age, would develop psychologically. Would it be similar to Andy from the Child’s Play movies? (That’s a franchise I need to catch up on) And yeah, maybe all these survivors, including Ash, should meet up at some point. Or at least become aware of each other’s existence. I don’t want any of them to die (unless it’s written well). Death is cheap, but trauma is rich.
A big reason why rewatching one of these movies every October for me is a must is because they each feel like a fun ride through a haunted house. I did like this enough, I’ll add it to the rotation. Maybe, in a few years, I’ll soften on this one like I did Evil Dead 2. It’s funny how I didn’t like that one at first because I thought it was too mean and not taking itself seriously. Now, I’m saying this one’s my least favorite because it’s too “precious” and serious. Maybe the real deadite is the one I became along the way.

what i'm listening to 9/5/2022 (song notes under the cut)
spot link//yt link
trying something a little different where i put the songs in order from favorite to least favorite
Laura Les - Haunted: haunted. by laura les
Pitchshifter - Genius: this band is an unusual entry into the nu metal genre by virtue of being from the uk, where most acts hail from somewhere in the americas or asia. this is one of those songs that just *feels* good, like i'm chewing on the industrial crunch and overlapping vocals
Tallah - Shaken (not stirred): honestly this could have easily taken top spot. i genuinely cried upon hearing this for the first time from the sheer intensity. manic tallah-patented weirdness followed by an unexpected and very pretty harmonized singing section, followed by the most atrociously disgusting triple breakdown i've ever heard. cool to hear derrick doing some singing too!
Limp Bizkit - Welcome Home (Sanitarium): i know i've already posted about this one but it's just such a fun cover and i think the context is super funny, i just keep coming back to it
Ray Charles - I Got A Woman: remember last month when i included gold digger and said that i should just listen to more ray charles, since the sample was my favorite part of that song? well. i did
Limp Bizkit - No Sex: i reference this song a lot bc the title's funny but it's also genuinely kind of an interesting track. this one's about fred expressing to his partner that he feels like they rushed into the intimate part of their relationship too quickly, and now that's become the only foundation the relationship has. he wants to have a relationship, but he doesn't want to have to rely on only sex to keep it going. it's a surprisingly emotionally mature song to include on the same album as "nookie", and cements significant other as being... actually kinda really good
Louis Armstrong - What A Wonderful World: another song that gets memed a lot, but this is just such a sweet little number. in particular, the lines "i hear babies cry, i watch them grow/they'll learn much more than i'll ever know" makes me want to cry. what a beautiful sentiment, to rejoice that our children and our children's children may inherit a world better and wider and more full of love and wonder than we could ever imagine..... 💜
Supertramp - The Logical Song: one of those songs you hear a million times and never think twice about until you listen to the lyrics. i've been listening to this album on a mutual's recommendation (i wonder if you'll read this?) and it's been a fun time! planning on checking out some of the other stuff when i find the time
Godsmack - Serenity: tbh i never used to like godsmack. i don't think sully erna is a good singer, and their songs are pretty simple and hacky. i did buy this album as part of one of my thrift store hauls, though, and this closing track really struck me. like a lot of abrasive post-grunge bands, i think they're a lot better when they tone it down a little bit. this song reminds me of silently, desperately wandering through the desert
Vanilla Ice - Nightmare Disco: oh boy where to start. i'm a big vanilla ice fan (like, 70% ironically) and i never expected to like anything from his disastrous (and, to date, most recent) album W.T.F., but this one's kinda fun, it's like a dark dance pop track. there are a couple of halloween-y tracks on that record, and this is one of them. gotta love the spooky vibes! unless you're vanilla's team, apparently, as this album is not available anywhere on youtube
Almighty Cover Girlz - Empire State of Mind (Part II) Broken Down (Almighty 12" Anthem Mix): damn could you make the name a little longer maybe?? normally i wouldn't even type all that out but they also have two other similarly named remixes of this song. this was an everynoise dot com find, and i was glad because i think alicia keys is a great performer but i've never liked this song. this mix brings it the extra mile for me
Lemon Demon - Ben Bernanke: this played on chase clown_depot's mediashare stream and i've had it in my head since. not much else to say, it's just another lemon demon song that i enjoy immensely
Bush - Comedown: not much to say here, either. another uncommon uk contender, and a far more successful one at that. not my favorite bush song, but it's the one i've had in my head. help
Pitchshifter - Microwaved: hey they're back! i was pleasantly surprised by this song taking on the sort of shitty fake plastic feeling that modern capitalist society has been permeated with. i've been revisiting the "leftist nu metal" playlist i had promised (and never delivered whoops) in a previous post and this was a good find. not as tastey sounds as genius but still worth the listen
A Perfect Circle - Counting Bodies Like Sheep To The Rhythm Of The War Drums: speaking of both left-wing nu metal and long as fuck titles... this is an anti-bush song that doesn't really land, but is a cool track independent of that nonetheless
Edison Lighthouse - Love Grows (Where My Rosemary Goes): one-hit wonder with a really weird story behind it. i would highly recommend the todd one hit wonderland video about this, that's how i first heard about it
Vanilla Ice - Hate: return of the ice-man. this is the type of song that got me into his music in the first place. i'm easy, really. i'll go for basically any nu metal i can find. nothing too special about this one, though, it's just catchy
SR-71 - Tomorrow: the last two songs here are placed next to each other on purpose. this was pop punk band SR-71's attempt at transforming themselves into clones of linkin park after hybrid theory started selling like hotcakes. they did a surprisingly decent job, getting the production and singing style nearly dead-on; however, they predictably didn't get very far with this maneuver
Crazy Town - Drowning: this was nu metal band crazy town's attempt at transforming themselves into clones of linkin park after hybrid theory started selling like hotcakes. being a nu metal band that already had dual vocalists and a dj, you would think they had an easier time of it than SR-71, right? nope. drowning is far less believable as a linkin park than tomorrow, which is pretty embarrassing for these guys. oh well, they can add it to their list

I feel like you would be the right person to ask this question so I hope you don’t mind me coming to you!!
I basically only play bg3. It consumes me. But now, on my 5th run, I think it would make sense to branch out into other fun games. Is da a good one to start with? Do you know of anything else that might be good for a bg3-head? Thank you!! Send my love to Cyrus etc
Omg hi anon first and foremost Cyrus is grateful for the love
Tumblr media
I'm more than happy to give recommendations (and as my username might suggest, I'm highly biased toward one of those recommendations). A couple of questions to consider about what you like about BG3 that you might find in other games:
Do you like the darker parts of BG3 (i.e., Durge) & don't mind outdated mechanics & graphics (and/or modding)?
Check out Dragon Age: Origins. Your classic 'save the fantasy world against impossible odds' RPG, with a certain apocalyptic darkness as you and your ragtag team of heroes scramble to defeat an invasion of blighted monstrosities called darkspawn. Mind the Mature rating especially for Origins, but I personally think that it's the best introduction to the Dragon Age setting and lore-- your character's backstory is deeply meaningful and does a wonderful job contextualizing your unique perspective in a world that is much more politically rich (if often insufferably center-left) than what BG3 offers.
It also came out in 2009, which is as evident in its occasional deep dives into misogyny as it is in its low-def textures and agonizingly slow combat. If you decide to go within Origins, you can send me another message & I'd be happy to offer some mod recs for making the game look & feel more contemporary (and with more bisexuality, which is always important).
Do you like bisexual misfits just trying to survive?
Check out Dragon Age 2. You play a refugee trying to provide for their family in a city marred by deep political inequity and social injustice. The game is of a smaller scale than any other in the series, focusing on just one city, and you have less flexibility in designing your character, but the story built within those limitations is excellent. Not for nothing, but Cyrus was originally an OC I made for DA2. The companions are splendid, the romances are exquisite, it very much has the BG3 tadfools vibe of a collection of wounded people (who are sometimes at each others' throats) trying their very best to make it through a world that is, at every turn, against them.
Gameplay-wise, the combat is much less real-time strategy like in Origins and much more fluid (& imo fun). The graphics are also significantly better than Origins, though far below BG3's. The game can feel quite repetitive, as it reuses assets, level designs, and enemies frequently (it was in development for less than two years...), and if you love the blank canvas of Tav, Hawke might feel too narrow/prescriptive.
Do you like BG3's turn-based combat, TTRPG mechanics, and strategic gameplay?
Check out Owlcat's Pathfinder games! I've only played Wrath of the Righteous personally, but I've heard good things about Kingmaker too. Their gameplay has a steeper learning curve than BG3, because Pathfinder is a more complicated system and the games cater in part to intense strategic minmaxers. BUT there are many build guides online, the game has plenty of difficulty settings (and the Toy Box mod lets you finagle things further), and I've been getting by just fine on Normal using the companion auto-builds & making my own haphazard build choices for Cyrus.
And there is a strong role-play component. WOTR's setting feels very much like the Forgotten Realms/Sword Coast of BG3 (though, for lack of a better term, de-WOTC-ified). While the story feels a bit cliche at times (magic chosen one rallying an army against the tide of darkness-- here in the form of demons), the deep lore and dark tone keep it interesting & fun. The companions and their romances are also excellent (...dare I say I find the romance writing to be more sensual & intimate than BG3's sex scenes???), and I especially love how Owlcat handles & writes inter-party dynamics.
Coming from BG3, I should also warn you that there is a VERY limited CC. Even more limited than BG3's slider-less presets. You don't get up close & personal with your PC that often, as the game is always in an isometric perspective, and that may be a turn-off too.
(All the Dragon Age games have good but not imo excellent character creators-- more facial customization than BG3, no body customization, and plenty of mods for expanding hair options)
More interested in action (maybe even very intense action), exploring, poking & prodding an open world?
We've reached the edges of my personal fantasy RPG knowledge, but I'd be remiss if I didn't mention the Elder Scroll games and the FromSoftware games like Elden Ring. I'm neither a hardcore action nor an open-world RPG person, but if you are, I think these games could serve you well!
I am also always a supporter of indie games, so here's one much smaller fantasy recommendation. Porpentine Charity Heartscape's With Those We Love Alive is an emotionally intense text-based game about trying to live in a repressive, surreal fantasy world. And while they aren't games you can sink hundreds of hours into, I'd encourage you to browse itch.io and find fantasy games there too!

CHARACTER NAME: anthony j crowley ( often just goes by crowley ) CHARACTER FACECLAIM: david tennant CHARACTER AGE/DOB: november 23rd 1971, 52 years old CHARACTER PRONOUNS/GENDER IDENTITY/SEXUALITY ETC: he/she/they, genderfluid, hard stares @ his own sexuality like: uhhh there is,,, there sure is some there!!! CHARACTER FANDOM (if relevant): good omens OC OR CANON: canon IF RELEVANT, PLEASE COMMENT ON ANY IMPORTANT CANON DIVERGENCES: n/a but ya know. obviously not a demon etc etc, adapted to fit this universe WHERE THEY ARE CURRENTLY LOCATED & ANY IMPORTANT ALLIANCES OF NOTE: 'i'm on my own side' is kinda the vibes. however, he does work with the likes of hilltop/alexandria/oceanside/the commonwealth IMPORTANT CHARACTER INFORMATION TO NOTE AND SHARE (this could be important headcanons for initial plotting, mini bios etc, supporting docs etc):
for the vast majority of his life before the apocalypse, anthony was a good kind of person. a little rebellious in early life-- that led to his parents kicking him out at 18-- but for the most part, he had a good heart. living in london, they went to college and then university, studying physics with space science-- delaying a little bit and not starting until they were around 22 years old because their focus was primarily on finding a job and a place to live first.
in that time, anthony also pursued a vague music career. a band was started, very punky kinda vibes. he got the nickname crowley then and, for the majority of the rest of his life, crowley spent his time between both of his passions: music and space sciences.
then it happened, late 2010 happened. the world went to hell. and crowley, who thought himself a good person all of his life-- who told himself that people who did good, got good things, lost a little of that faith.
especially when through his vast connections, he learns the truth of just how long the virus was kept from the public. it kinda makes him jaded. and when he ends up stuck stateside, trying to survive with his friends… when he has to kill a dear friend who got bit and turned, it changes something in crowley.
about a year into the apocalypse, crowley is alone. he's fought, watched all of his friends and those he cared about die for different reasons. he's done things he never imagined himself doing, just in order to survive. he no longer feels like the person he was before this all started and it haunts him. he travels from place to place, never staying anywhere too long. afraid to get close to anyone.
by the time he's picked up by the saviors who admire his brutal fighting style ( and maybe some notice him, 'weren't you in that band--' ), he feels utterly disconnected from reality and his humanity. joining with the saviors feels like the smart move. it's how he'll survive. and, well, at least it's a bed to sleep in. he doesn't have to like them. he doesn't have to form close bonds. it's about surviving. it's about not being on the wrong side of that bat.
crowley knows the things hes a part of isn't exactly right nor good. but good never seemed to get anywhere, did it? nothing seemed to really matter.
the day he goes on a pick up with the saviors and sees abe (now going by aziraphale), something long locked away in crowley seems to spark to life again.
it's… hard though. being on opposing sides. it's hard seeing someone you've known through different periods of life, knowing that they too have lost so much. crowley struggles a lot with how to be with the knowledge of it all, and it causes for some stolen moments, but also some intense arguments.
by the time the war ends, crowley has a choice. leave, go and find some place else for himself. move along again. or… try. try at life. at redemption. at trying to build something again and maybe, start to move past the things he'd done.
it's not easy, nothing ever is with the apocalypse. but slowly but surely, crowley has been piecing himself together over the years. there have been backslides, there have been moments he's thought about running away from it all. but he's still here. he's trying. and he really hopes one day he'll feel worthy of forgiveness. #128 - Demon Box - Motorpsycho (1993)
After two years after their debut release, Motorpsycho started to explore more sounds and styles. While not fully progressive rock yet, their 1993 release of Demon Box would mark a shift in the band’s musical stylings, not bordering themselves up with grunge but instead trying new recipes into the mix in their hour-long breakthrough album.
To see how they changed, the first song, Waiting For The One, does a great job of showing that the band is trying a bit more genres than just grunge and stoner rock. It is a purely folk tune, with acoustic guitars and all. What I like about this song is that even though it is very different, you can still feel that early Motorpsycho edge in some shape or form. It is just the vibes this song radiates, it both feels good yet also very grimly as well. It makes for a good opener to this sophomore album.
Continuing with trying new things, Nothing To Say while still being very grunge has a lot of nods and winks towards the indie/alt-rock sound that bands like Foo Fighters and Pixies were doing in the 90s. I do dig that riff they keep up at the start of the song. It is really heavy yet extremely melodic all at once, creating a sound that is very much their own without sounding too gritty. I also really love how Bent Sæther can go from very calm and collected vocals to very in-throat yelling that makes you think he is in pain. He has a natural soft vocal range so his yelling makes his singing feel very intense. It all makes for a great song that, while still very much grunge, has some more interesting elements to make it not JUST your typical grunge song.
We get even heavier with Feedtime, and they are embracing a bit more of their stoner metal music from Lobotomizer, but this time picking up the pace, creating this very energetic take on their sound prior, and revolutionizing it to where each turn just knocks you over. This is also when the band starts to use sampling in their works, where in the middle of the song you hear someone tell an audience that a choir will play a song that many people have heard before. I know it feels a little weird to add that into a song with no rhyme or reason, but I just think it is a neat inclusion. It just adds more flavor to the music I think, and really with such an already tasty lineup of songs, adding something new is Motorpsycho’s specialty, even at this point. It is such a good track that adds more to this dish than anything else.
Now while Nothing To Say had some indie/alt-rock elements, Sunchild on the other hand is practically an indie rock song. It has that fun, rockabilly-type rock music that is very fast moving, and quick to the pace. While not my favorite expression of music, I do admit this fun portrayal of their harder sound makes this cake they are baking have even more layers than anticipated, not only making music that is fun as all hell, but yet very expressive in their energy.
The band probably knew the album was getting a bit too heavy, so they decided to make the next track, Tuesday Morning, an acoustic song. No drums, for the most part, just the acoustic guitar, and some wacky sound effects sprinkled in, plus the beautiful singing of Bent Sæther. It does grow on you at this point that these guys are making music they want to create, not abiding by any genre they put themselves under other than the ones they want to utilize, and that is why I love them so much. They are kinda like Rush in a way, not caring about what others think and proceeding to create the music they want to make.
Continuing with those acoustic stylings, but changing things from a more folk song to a bit more of a gothic country song, we have All Is Loneliness. I do think that country twang works very well with this song since it kinda has this already dark and foreboding sound already, but the country music added onto it makes it even spooky. I think Motorpsycho is at its peak when they get a little spooky. They are like the Count Chocula of progressive rock bands, they are a great autumn band that can do very well when given the chance.
Now I am gonna be honest, I do not care for the production quality of my music. One of my favorite bands is Magma, and some of their live albums have extremely bad sound quality. However, those albums are still very good. However, again, I will say the low quality of Come on In absolute works. It sounds like an old home recording of some teenager’s song he made after coming home from school and recording something he thought of while he did his math homework. The low quality gives it charm, and I like a charm in my music. I think the quality is important, but even the lack of quality can also be important as well. This is a great song, and I am a sucker for it.
Now we get into the most bizarre song off this album, which is Step Inside Again. This to me is very much on that same weird Avant Garde monster that Careful With That Axe Eugene is like. The songs are very similar. Very mellow, very scary. Not only that but both have a very sharp scream that works surprisingly well. It is not the best song off here, but in the mood of the album, it works, and sometimes you just need a song that works.
Now we get into the band’s first epic, the 17-minute title track of Demon Box. For a first-timer, this one does things very nicely. It is loud, abrasive, and haunting, and does a lot of things that work well. I love how it has a shift in tone and volume, where the first few minutes, it is very loud, gritty, and intense, to this very quiet drone melody, and then back to the heavy and intense music without any warning. I do like this structure because it does some interesting things in the core structure of the music, plus it’s gnarly, to say the least. My main issue is the quieter bits in the middle. Now I am fine with the band reducing the heaviness in their sound, but what I love about Motorpsycho’s epics is that they are consistent in their focus. Each movement sounds similar to the last one, but there is always something new whether it is a new riff, a new instrument, or making things a bit more streamlined from before. This has a hard shift in tone and sound rather than a natural one, and in some retrospect, I kinda wish that the drone bit was removed entirely or that this song was split into three separate tracks, like say have the first movement, the heavy and intense part be a track called Demon Box Part 1, than have the drone bit be its separate track in between, and then go into the next louder part of Demon Box Part 2. For an epic, this is solid and I do like it a lot, but the track suffers a tiny bit from how hard the shifts from the intensely powerful music to the quiet drones can be.
Now I will say that this album is not bad at all, in fact so far it is amazing, but I will say that Babylon isn’t my favorite. I think they did way better in this more indie rock style on Sunchild than they have done here. Not to say this song is bad, but it feels less like they tried to make some kind of indie rock or punk rock song and more like them just messing around and trying to make something work within the context of the album.
Now what does work well within the indie rock sound is Junior. Man, I love this song, it is incredibly rhythmic, and incredibly powerful, but not too rehashy of ideas as Babylon did when it came to comparison with Sunchild. It tries to be its own thing, and I do like that. It is a very fun song just to turn your brain off and just jam. This is a key moment on the album for sure.
Now I would never say Motorpsycho is a post-rock band, but Plan #1 is a very post-rock song, at least in the first minute or so. Those first minutes do remind me of a Godspeed You! Black Emperor intro with the talks of god and Christianity and such, which is kinda how the epic of Static started up with the rantings of a priest to his church. I’d say for the intro alone, it is a very interesting song for Motorpsycho to tackle, and I do love how it does go back to that intro after the music settles down, and then they combine the intro back with the music making for a very high crescendo. It is a very nice melody that I am surprised isn’t talked about much in the Motorpsycho community.
Now my favorite song off this album, and one that I can never get out of my head, is Sheer Profoundity. Man, I love this song with my heart, just that bassy riff from the guitar and how it just consistently pounds away as Sæther asks if his sir needs anything that needs to be done. That one line of “Anything I can do for you, sir?” always gets stuck in my head, and I do not know why. It is surprisingly catchy even though it probably wasn’t meant to be catchy. It is just so good in its details and its playing. It is one of the band’s first, truly amazing songs they created in their early career.
The last song is a bit more of a punk song, and that is The One Who Went Away. While I am not a fan of punk music, aside from post-punk and art punk like Cardiacs or Unwound, I do think this does pay off well. This album is a very eclectic piece already, and while not progressive rock they do show a variety of genres under their belt that they can pull out of their pockets at any point in time. This song ends the trend off on a high note, with something the band hasn’t done yet and doing it surprisingly well. Through an album of twists and turns, the last turn will surely always be a good ending.
A high improvement from Lobotomizer, Demon Box not only continues the band’s sounds but introduces new ones as well. No wonder many Motorpsycho fans say this is one of their favorite records because it not only broke the mold for the band but made new molds for them to break in future releases. If you liked Lobotomizer but wanted something more in sounds and scope, Demon Box is your key my friend, and even if you haven’t listened to Lobotomizer then I still suggest listening to Demon Box. It is great, and one that needs a lot of love.

The "ghost" or something saved Wu Xie from theidmapper, and is now scaring the fuck out of the kidnapper. More to come. I expect the ghost to kill him. (I'm reading 夜半衣寒)
Only the slimmest bit related, but I watched My Best Friends Exorcism on Amazon Prime yesterday. The movie had certain elements that reminded me of the satire Saved (all the religious background setting and jewish protagonist), Jennifer's Body (the main 2 best friends and one becoming possessed), and The Craft (especially the stuff done to the friend group). However, it fell short of actually being as good as any of those. It was a good watch. But it didn't do anything particular with all the religious mentions so I couldnt tell if it was critiquing Christian hypocrisy of shut shaming and protecting attackers while vilifying people who speak about what happened or if it was simply presenting it as the normal world we should accept, if it was presenting demons and a Christian tie as genuine or if it was saying Christianity itself doesn't stop evil but the love between friends does. I couldn't tell if the girl being possessed was a metaphor for girls going "bad" in high school (because of drugs like their teachers implied) or if it was more a metaphor for the cruelness teen friendships can break into. So it didn't utilize that heavy Christian backdrop for a particularly clear purpose. Then it didn't go quite as in depth as Jennifer's Body with the friendship - although this part landed BEST in the movie and worked well. And it didn't get as scary as The Craft so it didn't quite hit the mark in the metaphor for teen girls and their heavy lives that The Craft hits - the scares were gross but not always as scary as the Craft (though some were), but mainly what took away the bite was I never felt anyone would die except maybe Gretchen. In The Craft, there's a lot of points it truly hits as hard as any standard horror movie and you are Afraid one of the main characters might die. So it didn't land quite as scary on the scary movie scale. I think in the way it Did handle things, it works as a fairly good movie for 12-15 year olds regarding some friendship points and its light horror being scarier than Disney but still nobody dying. However, it's poor use of the heavy Christian imagery could've been handled better to make a more noticeable commentary on something. I am going to assume the book used that Christian imagery for more of a specific Reason, since I've heard the book is really well written. The movie is no The Craft horror wise, but again i do think it's a good teen girl friendship movie and for people who would Like less intense of a horror vibe (as again its kind of gross and off putting so a bit horror but you never fear anyone will die). Of the new horror movies coming out, at least it's solidly memorable which is a huge compliment in the modern movie landscape.

Liminal: Part 1
Tumblr media
Pairing: EXO x Female Reader
Genre: Witch!AU
Word Count: 4.5k
Warnings: Some strong language
Summary: Magic. Murder. Mystery. You don't know when this became your life, but your choice in the matter is long gone. Someone is after you, someone is killing witches, and when a coven approaches you and tells you you're one of them? You're sure they're crazy. What's so magical about a girl stuck working in a greenhouse?
------------------------------------------------
Junmyeon swipes up the newspaper that Chanyeol had thrown down on the table with a sigh. Kyungsoo watches the anger take over his face as he reads the article they have all already had the displeasure of seeing.
Another senseless murder.
Another witch dead.
Everyone in the room shares the same frustration. The same anger and helplessness that is fleeting across Junmyeon's face at this very second, and they have no idea how to stop it.
This is the sixth body that has shown up in the past two months. The police think it’s a serial killer, but they have no real idea of what's happening. All they keep managing to do is get in the way of the people who actually have a chance of solving the murders - and they needed to be solved quickly before anyone else is killed.
None of the covens or elders can figure out why this is happening. What would someone gain from killing witches? Even worse, what would someone gain from killing witches that didn’t practice magic?
That is part of what shocked Kyungsoo. Not only were witches being slaughtered, but there were entire lines of witches hidden from the covens. Sure, he had heard of people going into hiding after the war centuries ago, but he hadn’t realized how many there were or that they were still in hiding after a couple hundred years.
Did those who were killed even know they were magical or was that knowledge lost to them a long time ago?
It was a surprise to the elders too. When the first few deaths occurred, none of them realized it was witches being killed off. The only reason anyone figured it out is because an Elder works on the police force. Kyungsoo didn’t know if it was his instincts or something about the way they were murdered that caused red flags to go off in the Elder’s head, but if it wasn’t for him, they still wouldn’t know. He raised concern, and others began tracing back the deceased familial lines, ultimately discovering it’s their own being murdered.
“What should we do?” Seoyeon quietly asks.
“You carry on with what you’ve been doing.” The High Priestess says as she sweeps into the room. “You keep perfecting your skills, and let the Elders keep tracing family lines.”
Jongdae watches her from across the room, already shaking his head as she speaks. “That’s not enough. We need to find these other hidden witches before whoever is killing them does.”
“How do you suppose you’re going to find someone you don’t even know exists?” She asks calmly, clasping her hands in front of her as she comes to a stop next to Junmyeon. When nobody offers her an answer, she continues. “Running around like a bunch of blind mice isn’t going to solve anything. Obviously, report it if you see any suspicious activity. Otherwise, let the Elders handle this for now.”
Her words frustrate some of the members, but they leave no room for argument. Besides, only fools would argue with their High Priestess. Though, something about her words sends a thought through Kyungsoo’s brain.
He has noticed suspicious activity lately at a place that he frequents quite often. At first, he thought it was just paranoia because of the murders, but now he thinks it’d be stupid to ignore. Especially when someone’s life could be at stake.
“The greenhouse,” his deep voice rumbles, causing everyone to look at him. “I’ve noticed odd people hanging around there, and they only started coming once the murders began. I thought it was in my head, but now I’m not so sure.”
He ignores the way his cousin’s eyebrows furrow and focuses solely on the High Priestess, who nods at his words.
“I’ll check into the employees that work there. For now, continue going there to keep an eye on things.”
------------------------------------------------
You hum to yourself as you bend down and check the sage plants for any bugs. There’s only about an hour left of work, and you figure this is the quickest way to pass the time. Plus, you didn’t mind this part of the job. It’s mindless and lets you escape into your fantasy world that is always quietly calling your name.
“Did you know that some people use sage to ward off evil?”
You jump when you first hear the deep voice next to you, but a smile quickly grows on your face. Kyungsoo. One of the greenhouse’s most consistent customers and definitely one of your more favorite customers. His monotone voice would make you think he’s bored, but you could always hear the passion in it when he talked about plants.
You straighten up to meet his stare. “Is that why I get the random terrified customer that comes in asking for it?”
The smile immediately falls from his face as he processes your words. “What?”
“I’m joking, Kyungsoo,” you tell him as you hold back a laugh. “Besides, aren’t there specialty shops for that?”
“Probably.” He shrugs his shoulders before a curious gaze takes over. “So, do you believe in things like that?”
“In evil spirits?” A small laugh escapes from you. “No, not really. Ghosts, demons, magic… I don’t believe in any of it, but if someone comes in here looking for sage to protect themselves, I’m definitely not going to stop them.”
Kyungsoo nods at your words, but you can tell his mind is elsewhere. Either lost in a world of magic and evil or just in a daze. You glance past him to make sure everything else in the greenhouse is going okay and notice another customer watching you.
Changmin. Someone who only recently started coming to the greenhouse but wasted no time in trying to get to know you.
“Do you need any help Changmin?” you ask, causing Kyungsoo to look over at him.
The two make eye contact for a moment, and you curiously take in the sight. Did they know each other? Because the vibes you’re getting aren’t exactly friendly.
“I do, actually.” Changmin finally says, ripping his gaze away from Kyungsoo to look at you.
“Okay. One second.” You tell him, focusing back on the man in front of you. “Did you need anything else, Kyungsoo?”
He eyes Changmin a little longer before turning back toward you. “I’m good. Thanks. I’ll see you around, though.”
You nod and watch him walk away before making your way over to Changmin. His brown eyes still watch Kyungsoo until he’s out of the store, causing you to furrow your brows in confusion.
“What’s up?” You ask in an attempt to get his attention.
“How long have you known him?” He asks, leveling you with a stare.
You jerk in surprise at the unexpected question. There’s no obligation to answer him, but you can’t deny you’re curious why someone you barely know would ask that.
“He’s been shopping here for a couple years. Why?”
Changmin slowly nods before looking back in the direction Kyungsoo had left in. You study his side profile, taking in the locked jaw and intense stare. They had to know each other, and not in a good way.
“Changmin?”
He studies you for a moment before saying, “I wouldn’t trust him if I were you.”
Your mouth parts slightly as you try to take in his words. Who just says something like that, and why did he think he could say it to you?
A smile grows on his lips as he takes in your expression. “Just some friendly advice.”
“…Right.” You finally find your voice, though a weird feeling fills you. Something about this entire thing feels off, and you don’t want to be dragged into it.
“Well, thanks for the help.” He winks at you and heads toward the entrance.
A minute passes before you find your bearings again. That entire encounter was awkward, and what’s more, you never even helped Changmin, so you didn’t know what exactly he was thanking you for.
Pushing the last five minutes from your mind, you pick up a nearby watering can and start giving some of the drier plants a little bit of water. You follow the same monotonous routine as you normally do and sigh. You’re so bored… and not just here but in general.
Working at the greenhouse is fun, and it’s refreshing to be surrounded by nature and warmth every single day, but it isn’t enough. You crave excitement and adventure. You want to travel the world and experience all that life has to offer, and you know you won’t find that here in the greenhouse.
You want more.
As your night wraps up, you turn off the lights and begin to head out, turning to lock up the greenhouse before you go. It’s the same routine that you always have, but something about tonight feels different. Something in the air feels different.
Brushing off the odd feeling, you throw the greenhouse keys in your bag and begin the journey home. It’s nights like these that you’re grateful you only live a couple blocks away. You get to tune into your thoughts and let your mind wander in the peace and quiet of the night, but tonight, that odd feeling remains.
You glance over your shoulder to glimpse the empty streets. Vehicles parked along the road for the night and a few trees scattered along the sidewalk greet you, but that’s all. No other human being catches your attention; however, you still can’t shake the feeling growing inside of you. The feeling that you’re being followed.
Quickening your pace, you try to remain calm and clearheaded. The odds that you’re being followed aren’t very high, but the recent string of murders in the city has you feeling on edge anyway. You debate if you should continue going home or if you should go somewhere else, but there’s no public place between the greenhouse and your apartment, so you continue on your path.
It’s probably just paranoia, especially since it’s nearly all the city can talk about. The news, the papers, social media… it’s everywhere, and that’s why you assume the odd feelings are just in your head. You’re psyching yourself out… but that still doesn’t stop you from feeling a sense of relief the second you get into your apartment.
Locking the door immediately behind you, you take a deep breath before letting out a breathy laugh at your actions. They were warranted, but you still felt a little silly. You turn on the lights and move to drop your bag on the table near the door. Before you can take any further steps into the apartment, your phone rings and you phish it out of your pocket, barely glancing at the caller ID because you already know who it is.
“Hey, mom,” you greet her.
“Did you make it home okay?” The worry is clear in her voice, so you avoid any sassy responses and move to sit on your couch.
“Yep! Safe and sound.”
You’ve grown used to the nightly phone calls you’ve been getting from your parents over the past couple of weeks. Ever since the news broke the first couple of murder stories, your parents have been worried sick about you, even more than usual. You’ve been trying to keep them calm and not become frustrated by their actions because you understand. You’re their only child, and you live alone in a dangerous city, but sometimes you really want to forget about the horrors that exist on the other side of your apartment door.
“Good! Make sure your door is locked!”
“It is mom.”
You hear her sigh on the other end of the phone. “You know we just want you safe, sweetie.”
“I know, and I love you for it.”
“Love you too, baby. I’ll talk to you tomorrow.”
You let out a soft laugh as you hang up the phone and drop it on the couch. Turning your head towards the window, you take in the city lights and listen to the soft sounds of the still bustling city that slip through the glass. Your mind can’t help but think about the odd feeling you had when you left work. The feeling that you were being followed. Was it paranoia as you suspected, or something more sinister?
The following days prove to be just as boring as usual, and after your spooky walk home a few days ago, you welcome it. For once in your life, you welcome the quiet, boring life you lead. The only difference you’ve noticed over the past few days is the more frequent visits of Kyungsoo and Changmin. It’s like every time you turn around, one of them is there. It’s almost eerie how they manage to do it.
Kyungsoo is a welcome distraction. He often talks about the plants you have in the greenhouse and similar ones he thinks you should talk your superiors into growing. He often makes comments about magical herbs or ones that’d be used in rituals, and you have to laugh. It’s funny to you how into magic he is, but you can tell he’s passionate about it, so you let him continue telling his stories.
Changmin, on the other hand, seems more concerned about Kyungsoo than you or the greenhouse. You often catch him watching Kyungsoo from a distance, and you know Kyungsoo can feel it because he has caught him several times himself. It’s odd how Changmin doesn’t even bother trying to hide it, and things take a really weird turn when Changmin approaches you about him directly.
‘Didn’t I warn you not to trust that guy?”
The small shovel you’re holding in your hand drops back into the pot as you stand up to greet Changmin. “Hello to you, too.”
His eyebrow quirks up as you ignore his previous sentence. “Hi. Did you not hear what I just said to you?”
“I heard you just fine. What I’m not hearing is an explanation.” He gives you a confused look, so you elaborate. “This is the second time you’ve told me not to trust Kyungsoo, but you’ve yet to give me a reason. Kyungsoo has been nothing but nice to me while you, on the other hand, keep sending him death glares across the greenhouse and telling me not to trust him.”
He studies your expression for a moment before nodding. “I just thought I’d help you out. You’re a nice girl. Maybe a little too nice. Didn’t your parents ever teach you that looks can be deceiving?”
Confusion causes your brows to furrow as you try to figure out how on earth you should even respond to that. This man that you barely knew, not only is telling you not to trust someone but is calling you naïve directly to your face. Who does stuff like this?
“I’m just saying,” he shrugs his shoulders, “maybe watch who you befriend.”
You meet his stare for a moment before saying, “Yeah… I’ll do that.”
For the rest of your shift, all you can think about is how relieved you are that Changmin is gone. The man is starting to creep you out and why he felt like he could tell you who you could and couldn’t trust really bugged you. The two of you are friendly but not friends. You barely know him, so why does he think he can come up to you and say things like that?
“Don’t forget to turn out the lights!” Your coworker reminds you as she breezes past towards the door.
“I got it, don’t worry. See you tomorrow!”
She throws you a smile as she exits the greenhouse, and you try to focus on the last-minute things you need to do, but your mind is elsewhere. Sighing, you toss your work gloves into a bin by the counter and move to grab your purse. You’ll deal with the rest tomorrow.
As you walk out of the greenhouse and turn to lock up, you get an eerie sense of déjà vu. You lift your head up and look at the area around you. The sight that greets you causes a bad feeling to work its way up your spine.
People are scattered all over the place. On the sidewalk on each side of the greenhouse and across the street. They stay half-hidden in the shadows. Not enough to show their faces, but enough that you can tell they’re there.
You take a deep breath and try to keep calm while you watch the shadows. There had to be 10 to 15 people around you, and that’s enough to set off your alarm bells because you’d usually only see maybe four people maximum when you closed.
The way they all stand still as they watch you causes your heart rate to spike. You stare at the wooden door in front of you and debate on running back into the greenhouse since the key is still in the lock, but you know that’s not going to stop them from whatever it is they plan on doing. Something tells you they’re here for you and that they won’t stop until they get what they want. You don’t know why, but your body is screaming it at you.
You needed to find a place with people, or at least, a busy street, and there wasn’t any toward your apartment, so you pull the key out of the lock and head in the opposite direction. Your steps are slow as you come close to one of the people leaning against the building next to you. The girl doesn’t move as you pass her, and though you try to find her eyes, it’s like she leans back deeper into the shadows, making it even harder to see her.
Once you pass her, you pick up your pace and almost swear when you hear footsteps behind you. You knew this was going to happen. Now, you just have to be quicker than the rest of them.
Quickening your pace to a jog, you force yourself not to look behind you. Every time the person looks behind themselves in a movie, they fall and bust their ass. That would not be you. However, something else tries to force its way inside your head…
What if these people had something to do with those murders?
You force yourself into a jog, noting the wind has noticeably picked up. Good. Maybe they’ll get tired of going against the wind to follow you. You smile at the thought until you feel the wind push against you even harder.
You stumble a little at the force of it but try to keep going. You ignore the harsh whip of it against your face, but it stings enough that you question where the heck this wind even came from. Was it even supposed to storm today? You could’ve sworn the forecast said sun all day when you woke up.
An even harder gust of wind slams against you, and you find it nearly impossible to move your body. Chancing a glance behind you, you see the people that are following you having an even tougher time. It’s like they’re somehow getting even more wind than you are.
What the hell is going on? You’ve never experienced wind like this. It’s almost… unnatural.
Lightning arcs across the sky, being immediately followed by thunder, and all you can think is “great, a freak storm, that’s exactly what you need right now”. You look up at the sky and feel your face scrunch in confusion. There aren’t any visible clouds, so you’re not entirely sure where this storm is coming from.
More bolts of lightning streak across the sky, lighting up the road around you until suddenly one of the bolts hits a streetlight behind you. The thunder that accompanies the bolt is monstrous, startling you into turning around and searching for damage.
Smoke comes off the light that had just been struck, but before you can process it, another bolt hits the light across from it, sending two of your followers stumbling. You jump back as more bolts begin hitting the road, and that’s when you realize the lightning isn’t following any basic laws of science. Tall buildings, other streetlights, plenty of metal objects surround you, and instead, the lightning hits the ground, bypassing everything. Even odder, the bolts only hit the ground around the people behind you, none of them near you.
Momentarily stunned by the odd storm, you realize this is the perfect distraction to get away. You turn back around and begin to fight against the wind to move. At first, it feels like you’re cemented to the ground, but ever so slightly, it becomes easier to move. You push harder, fearing that if it’s easier for you, it’ll be easier for your followers to move as well.
Wetness suddenly hits your face, distracting you and causing you to look back up at the sky. Rain too? Of course, it makes sense, but there weren’t even any clouds thirty seconds ago. The sky opens up moments later, dropping so much rain on you that you’re drenched instantly. It pelts against you almost painfully, like thousands of needles being jabbed in your skin, and you cry out before you can stop yourself.
Turning your head towards the buildings alongside you, you search for a place to hide out. You can’t stay in this rain any longer, and when you glance behind you, you notice most of the creepy people fleeing the storm, making your sense of urgency dwindle. What you need to do now is find shelter, then as soon as the storm lets up, you can go get help.
Taking a step towards the buildings on your side, you notice a shape approaching you and you immediately tense up. The creepy people didn’t leave like you thought. They just went around to trap you instead. You quickly back away as the figure moves closer to you and notice it’s not as hard to move as it was. The wind is starting to let up as is the rain, allowing you to see the person approaching you.
You blink a few times as you take in his sudden appearance.
“Kyungsoo?”
“Come with me,” he urgently tells you, holding his hand out for you to grab.
You look between his hand and his face as you try to push past the startling confusion you’re feeling. What the hell is he suddenly doing here, and why does he want you to go with him?
“Please! We don’t have a lot of time!”
The urgency in his voice has you looking over your shoulder. You didn’t have a lot of time? Is he talking about those people? How would he know about anything that’s going on?
“Where?” You turn back to him and shout to be heard over the rain.
“Please, just trust me!” He yells, looking behind you.
You send one more peek over your shoulder before glancing down at his hand. Changmin’s words telling you not to trust Kyungsoo work their way into your mind, but you squash them. You barely know Changmin, and a part of you feels like you can trust Kyungsoo. He, at least, feels safer than being out on these streets alone at night.
Taking a deep breath, you place your hand in his and allow him to pull you back in the direction he came from. The two of you run toward the end of the block, and then he pulls you around the corner, where you see a black car already running and waiting for you.
He opens the backdoor, and without question, you jump in. You look up as you find your seat and come face to face with another man. Your movements halt, but Kyungsoo jumps in after you, blocking your only exit. You look up to the front of the car and see two more unfamiliar men in the driver and passenger seats.
Oh. You fucked up. There’s no possible way jumping in an unfamiliar vehicle with three strangers and someone you barely know isn’t a fuck up.
“What the hell, Kyungsoo?” You turn and hiss at him.
“Calm down. Everything’s going to be okay.” He tells you as he places his hand on your arm.
You immediately move away from him, not wanting him to touch you. “Like hell it is!”
Tearing your gaze from Kyungsoo, you look at the other men in the car, and that’s when it hits you. Not a single one of them is paying any attention to you. They’re all concentrating on something behind you, outside of the vehicle. You take a moment to study them as they focus on whatever it is they’re doing.
Next to you is a thin man with brushed-back hair. You see his eyes focusing on the trees as they almost violently sway, and you assume he’s as curious about the wind as you. In the driver seat is a shorter, muscular man. He stares out at the rain like he’s almost in a daze, and an unnerving feeling begins to prod at your skin. Lastly, in the passenger seat is another man, but his face is turned away from you. All you can tell is that he’s looking up at the sky like it holds all the answers.
Slowly, you turn to face Kyungsoo, who’s looking out the back of the car in the direction you came from. He must feel your eyes on him because he quickly turns to face you. You try to find your voice to speak, but the most that comes out is a whisper.
“What the fuck is happening?”
Before he can answer you, you feel movement from your side, and you immediately snap your head in that direction. You meet the cautious stare of the man next to you, the one who was watching the trees, and blink a few times before you realize how quiet it has gotten.
Reluctantly, you pull your gaze away from the man and look out the window, noticing the storm had disappeared as quickly as it came. The night is now silent and eerie. The trees no longer sway, the rain no longer drops, and the lightning is long gone. You sit frozen as you try to figure out how any of this is logically possible until you realize that it’s not just the man next to you that is focused on you. The two men in the front are as well.
You turn to look at Kyungsoo, the only one you know. “You have about five seconds to tell me what the hell is going on.”
He searches your face a moment before nodding. “You’re in danger.”
You quickly open your mouth to argue with how absurd that sounds, but he holds his hand up to quiet you.
“Those people are after you, and they’re not going to stop until you’re dead.”

GN!MC forcing conquering the demons into Pacts
Quick tags for those some people who reblogged my other post pt 1, I know I have a lot more but these are the only ones with comments on the post. @chalcedear @undertaker-02 @the-mexican-writer @mammonkinnie
Lucifer
You had spent countless hours against Lucifer, trying to fight him and force him into a pact. No matter what you did, it seemed like you failed.
It took you a long time to realize, but you had to train to beat Lucifer. And that you did. You knew how terrifying his power was as all the demons told you, so for a week straight you intensely trained until you were ready.
Lucifer was already on edge noticing you didn’t try anything, but he knew you wouldn’t give up, which was when you decided to strike.
He easily dodged your initial flying kick when he entered the room, but you grabbed onto the door and swung back around, kicking the tip of his head before he backed off.
He was now ready to dodge, believing that tour strategy was only to catch him off guard, but he was wrong.
When you landed, you dug your foot into the ground and threw yourself at him, but as he moved to the right, you used the shelf behind him to catch yourself and kick off it and nailed a kick straight to his head.
It was now or never as you began throwing heavy punches, trying to get him into a chokehold while he was prying you off, struggling a little as you bit onto his fingers or wings. You even bit onto his horn to stabilize yourself and kept punching.
By the end of it, you had quite a few bruises from his harsh grip, but he had a black eye and his feathers were all over the floor, you’ve won.
He probably could of killed you, but he didn’t want that, so he accepted his loss, glaring at you when you dug your heel into his stomach as Satan clapped and Belphie got out a trophy to hand you.
His pact was now your’s and you were going to flaunt it. He’s alright with the fact it was you who forced him into a pact, but it majorly hurt his ego that you were superior to him.
Mammon
You had recently arrived in the devildom half an hour ago and did not feel welcomed, in the slightest.
You tried to be nice to your guide, but he brushed you off and left you with Levi, or he intended to.
Levi gasped as he watched you tackle Mammon who tried to run off, and elbow him in the jaw. When he fell to the ground you kicked the life out of him muttering out “I tried to be nice to you fucker, if one of us is killed today it’s you.”
Levi was obviously bewildered, but took the chance to tell you to make a pact with him, his biggest mistake in his lifetime, all the poor demons in the future.
Mammon was crying a little as you forced him into a pact, and pulled him up with one hand, making him face Levi himself.
Mammon is 100% nicer to you because you’re scarier than Lucifer, and also because you genuinely treat him with respect now that he’s nice to you, something he’s not used to. Super happy to be the first ever demon you’ve conquered.
Leviathan
You had decided to do things the non violent way and participate in the TSL quiz, until Levi turned into his demon form and tried to kill you.
Taking up his challenge, you fearlessly walked towards him as Mammon was trying to tell you no, and you caught his punch.
It pushed you back a little bit, but you caught it and twisted his arm, and proceeded to beat him up in a one sided battle.
It’s not that he was weak, or others were helping you, but you genuinely managed to fight back and beat him so hard that it looked like his entire left arm was broken.
Lucifer was kinda pissed you broke his brother ngl;; but Diavolo is like it’s self defense?? And Lucifer is just like what human fights a demon across the room in self defense.
When Levi is begging for mercy he is reminded of what happened to Mammon and the rumors, accepting defeat, you make a pact mark with him, he’s kinda pissed though, like highkey.
He thinks that you probably think of him as a trophy or something to collect, based off the rumors. You probably don’t want to have a pact mark with an otaku, you just want to show off your strength.
He soon changes his attitude towards you when you show interest in him. You’re just genuinely a nice person and a caring older sibling figure, but will fight for the sake of peace and safety.
Now he’s just jealous that you spend more time with Luke than anyone else.
Satan
He offered you a pact mark easily because he wanted to piss off Lucifer, especially when you tried to give him a black eye from the pillow fight.
Very angry and disappointed when you said no, but then surprised when you said you’d beat the shit out of him instead, fair and square.
He knew you fought well, but are you sure you want to fight the embodiment of wrath himself? And you’re just like yep, the small tiny you, so confident.
He didn’t take it too seriously despite seeing the actual proof multiple times, and he watched you used his messy room to your advantage, even using the bookshelves to help you get air.
His ass was easily kicked even when he was serious. “You know, after facing both Levi and Beel, you aren’t much of a challenge.” You casually said as you formed a pact mark with him.
Slightly irked by the comment but delighted to be apart of your fan club, probably yells “BEAT THEIR ASS!” On the sidelines.
Pisses Lucifer off whenever you two fight and Lucifer gets an injury from you, and asks if Lucifer ever wants ice, just to be a dick.
Diavolo and Satan are in the fan club which PISSES Lucifer off when the two are in front of him discussing how you will one day (undoubtedly) beat Diavolo.
Asmodeous
You made a pact with Asmo after accidentally beating him up, he was begging for mercy and you kind of felt bad.
You insisted it wasn’t on purpose and he kind of avoids you for awhile after the pact mark. He’s glad Solomon isn’t like you, otherwise the devildom would cease to exist.
He’s eventually fine with you, and loves to take photos of you and Luke together acting like siblings because it’s the cutest thing. Although demons are scared of you they do kinda admire you, and seeing you soft with Luke is good for his devilgram.
Soon treats you like a friend instead of a monster that just so happened to kick his ass and make him beg.
You’re so tiny that it’s kinda cute and he nearly forgets someone like you is violent and scary so when he took you shopping and someone shoplifted, he was concerned for your nails after you disfigured them.
Will 10/10 treat your tense muscles and let you soak in his tub.
Beelzebub
He’s seen you fight before but damn he couldn’t believe it. You’re just so smol?? Couldn’t he crush you?
Lesson learned as he was knocked out after he broke your room. You didn’t want to hurt Besl since he was always courteous with you, so you knocked him out quickly.
He doesn’t remember more than you launching at him and the feel of his wings being tugged and his neck suddenly throbbing.
Mammon who watched beg for Beel’s life on his knees, asking you to spare him. You just nodded and waited for Beel to wake up before making a pact.
When he makes one, you give him some custard you asked Mammon to go out and buy really quick, you said please, and Beel is just so happy!!
He tried to kill you and he feels so bad but you’re just so kind!! Wants to protect you so bad but knows you’re just so badass so he instead helps you care for Luke.
Belphegor
You’d definitely be lying if you said you didn’t see it coming. His brothers had already tried to kill you, he was locked in an attic, and not to mention he gave you a weird vibe, you would of left him alone if you weren’t a nice person.
He tells you thank you for freedom and transforms, ready to kill you. No one got in his way and instead said “good luck Belphie” or “Nice knowing you” so he thought they wanted you dead.
Then he hears Beel say “I don’t want you to die, Belphie” and he is so confused? As he aimed his attack and you just end up punching him square in the face.
Afterwards, you kicked him in the stomach and grabbed his tail, swinging him into a wall, and knocking him over and over and over.
He is out cold, so when he wakes up and sees everyone congratulating him on surviving, he puts two and two together.
You were sitting on top of him and demanding a pact mark, and he unwillingly gives it to you after you nearly rip out his horn.
Pissed off and scared of you, slightly, but more impressed by the fact that even Lucifer struggles with you. When he finds out about the sheer amount of pact marks you have he’s starting to wonder when humans got so strong? And it became an endless spiral of him being pissed off.
Don’t worry though!! He eventually gets used to you.
Diavolo
Super happy it was finally his turn!! Like you did it, congrats, wants it you’d like some tea and what kind of attire to wear for his asskicking.
Is absolutely not looking down on you, he genuinely believes you’re strong. Because of that, he’s just so excited to face you. You beat both Lucifer and Barbatos, the majority of RAD, and you’re such a cool person!!
When you approach him you looked so badass. “Aye, prince of kiss my ass, I’m here to claim you once and for all and become the new ruler of this place.” You yelled out as you kicked down the door to his office.
The first time you two fought, he won. You had a lot of bruises, but managed to rip out some of his hair, at least. He finds it admirable how you still kept going despite him clearly hearing a rib break.
SUPER excited to tell Satan about it!! Hopes Barbatos recorded the fight so he could broadcast it at RAD during an announcement or something, but Barbatos rejected that idea.
Poor Diavolo only wanted to be included in this ass beating trend, but super happy when you return three days later and try to beat him up again, you even changed up the way you fight!!
You won’t ever know this, but one day he purposely changed his office’s layout to benefit your fighting style more, so when you finally beat him he was so ecstatic, his lips were bleeding but he was laughing, congratulating you and couldn’t wait to give you a pact.
Oh boy was he SO happy when you flaunted it, and sat in his desk chair with a hand on your chin, giving an order to Barbatos who recorded it, acting as if you really were the ruler of the devildom.
“Could you get some bandages for your former ruler, please?” You asked, feeling accomplished that Luke was officially safe during his stay in the devildom, and Diavolo was just swooning.
The public is 10/10 avoiding you because they are SCARED for their life. The people are convinced you’re like a nuclear weapon against demons.
Barbatos
He knew one day you’d defeat Lucifer, but it was so quick. You only needed a week of prep time?
Steps up his game a bit, because after two weeks of training you approach him ready to fight, and he can sense you’re not the same.
As he uses his tail to put you out of the room, he automatically feels your sharp teeth digging into his tail. He can withstand it no problem, until you literally rip a bit of his tail chunk out.
You didn’t let go even as he flung you off his tail, and you even dug your nails in. He showed no expression, but it was genuinely painful as you climbed his tail onto him, his tail no longer as useful because he was very sure you would rip through it.
His fighting against you one on one went well for him, he could see and easily predict your moves easily, until you head butted him and began every trick in the book.
From kicking, punching, biting, scratching, you name it, you did it. He was finally at your mercy when you were cover in both your own and his blood, while he was sure his tail was missing some pieces, and you were absolutely not letting go.
He’s 100% convinced you’ve gone feral in a span of three weeks, but that’s okay. The only thing stopping you from fighting the prince was now defeated, and he apologised to Diavolo frequently, who was only super excited in return.
Don’t worry you apologised for his tail and helped him with his job for awhile, totally not to also study Diavolo in his natural habitat.
First time you’ve ever seen him smile so soft was when he got his ass kicked so hard by you that his tail went chomp chomp.
Luke
Surprised pikachu face.
He understands you beating up Mammon,, and maybe some lesser demons,, but did you REALLY defeat Lucifer, Barbatos, and Diavolo.
Surprised pikachu face as you shrug and say “yeah I guess. I’m the ruler now, do you feel safe yet?”
Lucifer yells out you’re not the ruler just because you formed a pact with Diavolo, but you ignored him and smile at Luke, patting his head.
Luke is just nodding like “I’m safe!!!” While in his head he’s like WOW whaT PLEASE EXPLAIN.
Luke constantly calls you his older sibling now, tells daddy Simeon ALL about it, and brags about you to the demons who even look at him.
Praise this precious baby as he makes you all the sweets in the world. You’ve literally defeated demons of all sorts, even the most powerful, and all you want is to see him smile.
Will probably cry.

A blank expression was plastered on the immortal's red tinted lips that matched the hue of the liquid that he was swirling around in the glass cup between his fingers, as usual. His deep and husky voice was humming an eerie and macabre tune as his eyes pierced down at the city below him. To the naked eye it would seem as though he was staring into nothing, the only thing visible was the monumental skyscraper that overlooked the apartment complex he currently cohabited in. But his eyes were very much focused, watching over the tiny figure that was currently walking just a few blocks away from where his building was. They walked around so casually, not looking anywhere behind them or with any sense of alert. It is a rather dangerous area even if it was one of the more luxurious places in the city, and yet the figure continued their trail back home without giving any cares in the world.......not seeing the hooded figures that had been meticulously trailing right behind them, waiting for their opportunity to strike, which came mere moments after they had turned into a dark and abandoned alley.
The being's lips curled into an amused smirk as he felt and watched the pentagram mark on his wrist, usually hidden away under the long sleeved of his dress shirts, light up in a bright scarlet color, the Y in the middle shining the brightest. Unrolling his sleeves, he carefully adjusted his vest and re-did the silk tie that was around his neck, as if he had all the time in the world......
Which he probably did.
"Off to fulfill my duties I guess."
In a mere blink of his eyes, he was instantly in that dark alley, still unseen by the ruffians who were currently apprehending the damsel who even in her distress was putting up a rather good resistance. Deducing it was now his cue to enter, he stepped out of the shadows and came into their vicinity.
"My, my, quite a rather scandalous and rowdy lot of you, causing such an improper and shocking scene in this time of night. Shame, shame." He spoke out in a calm demeanor.
While the group of bandits looked at him in surprise and anger at being witnessed in their crime, the woman had both an unamused and annoyed look on her features.
"You're late." She directed at the sharply dressed male.
"My apologies Lady Y/N, I promise it won't happen again." He bowed to her, fighting back the urge to snicker as he knew very well it would not be the last time.
The thugs held up their knives closer to the woman's neck and even pointed one at him.
"I suggest you walk away now while you still have a chance you overly dressed penguin boy. Don't try to play the hero or you'll get that pretty little throat of yours slit open." One of them warned.
The blonde haired male let out an offended scoff, hand going up to his chest to show his indignation.
"Why my kind sir, believe me I had absolutely no intention of playing the hero. That is absolutely beneath me!...."
Putting his hands behind him, he looked at them with a deadpanned expression.
"Now talk to me about being the villain.....then we're speaking my language."
In an instant, without knowing how, the male charged at an inhuman speed towards them, knocking them out before going back to his previous place, this time his arms carrying the woman in a bridal style motion. He looked down at her, awaiting the next instructions.
"Home. Now." She demanded.
"Of course My Lady."
He began turning around to make way home, but halted when he felt and heard the men behind him load up and point guns at him. He let out a deep sigh.
"All I wanted was to fulfill my duty as the trusted servant of my Mistress but you guys seemed hell bent on making that impossible....."
Shrugging, he gently placed the girl down for a moment on the pavement.
"So be it."
When he heard the shots fired, he stuck his left hand out, trapping all of the bullets in between his fingers, shocking the ones who had fired them and making them marvel at the spectacle. The male turned around and inspected the bullets he currently held.
"Truly interesting, I must compliment your choice of weapons my criminal comrades. You could have certainly sent even the strongest of men straight to their death with just one of these aimed at the proper body part....."
As he looked back at them, they shivered when his eyes changed color.
"Allow me to demonstrate."
Flinging the bullets back at them, they all resonated like a thunder strike as they pierced through the thugs' chest, into their hearts, hitting accurately on a vital vein that had them dead before their bodies even hit the ground. The inhuman creature's nose crinkled in disgust at the mess that was left behind.
"What a filthy scene. As if the world didn't already have hoards of rubbish and filth to clean up on the daily." He shook his head.
"Ahem!"
The light yet impatient tapping of a foot reminded him that he was not alone and that he still had one task left.
"Ahh yes. Home now I suppose. Would my Lady prefer to be transported or would she wish to soar high above in the air?" He offered.
"I'm not in the mood to be out here in society anymore." She huffed out.
He smiled enthusiastically at that, hands rubbing together.
"Excellent choice my Lady. Please don't fret. I'll see to it immediately."
He stepped forward to her, about to take her hand when she stopped him.
"And Yeosang? I had a bad day.........you know what to do."
He couldn't help the spark that always ran down his spine when she said those words. Using one arm to pull her body against his, he looked at her intensely, eyes already ravishing her body.
"Yes my Lady."

The demon's hands carefully worked to finish tying the rather intricate and aesthetic knots on the red rope that kept the woman in front of him from moving. Taking a step back, he began to admire her body fully displayed for him, arms and legs tied to each of the corners of the bed. Although she was as naked as the day she was born, save a large black lace choker decorating her neck, he still donned his fancy uniform, except his charcoal vest and tie, that signified his devotion and commitment to her. Even if it wasn't necessary to wear it, Yeosang loved the classy and elegant vibe that it gave him, and besides.....
He knew his Mistress went crazy for him in a suit and tie, especially on occasions like these.
Rolling up his sleeves, he crept closer to her, noticing how she was paying careful attention to any sound she heard since her eyes were covered by the satin black blindfold Yeosang loved using. His fingers gripped her jaw as he bent down and kissed her passionately, mouth enclosing over hers, tongue swiping over her lips. When she felt his wet muscle, she could not resist the urge to pull it into her mouth. He let out an aroused hum as she sucked on it and began to take control of the kiss, slipping her tongue in his mouth so it could roam around in it. She whined softly when he pulled back mid makeout session.
"My dear lady, although you've certainly become an independent and dominant woman, need I remind you you're at my mercy at the moment, so any ideas of taking over should be scraped immediately."
Catching her bottom lip between his front teeth, he bit down on it and gave it a harsh suck as he pulled off her completely.
"Don't worry my beautiful Mistress. I'll make sure my depraved actions leave you in a utmost pleasure any human can imagine. Just remember the safe word if it gets too intense."
But he knew as well as she did that there'd be no need for that. He was a master at what he did, always careful not to cause any unnecessary pain. Not that she minded, she was a little masochist at times.
His hand opened the black treasure chest that was currently on top of the dresser. Already having prepped what he had in mind for their playtime in the little red room, his hand picked up the vanilla lavender scented body oil. He purposefully popped off the lid with a loud sound, letting it fall onto the floor to make as much noise as possible. As expected, Y/N's neck stretched out towards the direction of the noise, trying to figure out what exactly was happening. She could smell the faint scent of the oil but still could not point out where it came from. Her chest shook and her breath hitched when she felt something being poured over breasts, the liquid traveling down her sternum with some of it falling into her belly button. Yeosang didn't stop there as he then poured a bit more onto her inner thighs and on the mound of her womanhood. When she felt some of it roll off her body and onto the sheets underneath her, she slightly cringed.
"I'll clean them up as usual my lady. Don't worry about that. Right now, please just relax and leave all of you to me."
His fingers delicately caressed her chin before gliding down her neck, tugging at the choker around her. He took her by surprise when his hands cupped her breasts so suddenly. Slowly, he began to squeeze and knead at them, thumbs circling all over her erect nipples. He couldn't keep his away, entirely consumed in spreading the oil all over them.
"So pretty....so beautiful...."
Y/N smiled at his praises. Her demon boy toy had made it more than obvious that he was a huge admirer of breasts and hers were his all time favorite. More than once when he opted to be the little devil he was, he'd randomly brush his hand across them or come up behind her and start groping them, sometimes surprisingly in a non sexual way.
He'd giggle and say "They're just so cute and perfect for my hands."
But right now there was absolutely nothing innocent in a way he was cupping and playing around with them. He was getting a thrill out of pressing them against each other, rubbing them together for a few seconds before releasing them to watch them fall back into their original place. His fingers tugged, pulled and even pinched at her sensitive buds to trigger moans to come out of her pretty and plump lips. Yeosang didn't forget to spread the oil all over the rest of her torso, making sure it was completely glistening in that sweet smelling substance he administered on it.
Gliding his hands further south, now her legs and thighs began to receive the same treatment, getting oiled up nicely for the new play he wanted to try out in a few minutes. His hands massaged her inner thighs, lingering them close to her pussy that was waiting to be touched by his gentle fingers. He grazed all around it but never actually touched it, making her get frustrated, hips slightly rising to try and feel something, anything where she needed it most.
"Yeosang...." She called out to him.
"Please just trust me on this Mistress. I'm only thinking about giving you the utmost pleasure you deserve."
Deciding it was no use fighting or commanding the demon, she just relaxed her hips and placed them back onto the mattress. Her mind instead focused on Yeosang's hands that were drawing circles across her thighs, fingers digging in at certain areas that helped release some tension after her long and arduous day. She let out a soft sigh, enjoying her lover's caresses so much she began closing her eyes and almost dozing off to sleep....
Until she felt a finger slid up her slit and press down on her clit. If she could, she would have shot her eyes wide open, and her legs would have instinctively closed at his touch, but she could not do that right now. Yeosang smirked, happy that he thought about binding her up so he could play and experiment with her body as he pleased. Using all his fingers, he rubbed at her folds making sure to pay close attention to her tiny little nub. It always fascinated him to know such a tiny organ could cause such big reactions. Prying her folds open with one of his hand, the other moved to slip a finger inside her hole, shortly followed by another one.
"So wet and it's not even because of the oil." Even without seeing him, Y/N knew he had the biggest shit eating grin plastered on that unholy handsome face of his.
"Yeosang don't tease me or I'll use the chains and whips on you." She warned him, emitting a low growl.
He chuckled at her as he digged his fingers deeper inside her, curling them so they grazed on that special place of hers.
"Very kinky my lady. Perhaps I should take you up on that offer again someday. You're not the only one who enjoys pain every now and then."
He wiggled his fingers inside of her before thrusting them in and out of her. Already being wet and being even more lubricated due to the oil he poured on her, sticky and sloppy sounds were the only things heard besides Y/N's pants that would soon turn to choked out moans if Yeosang continued his pace.
"So responsive for me, that you are Mistress."
Feeling somewhat bad at working her so close to a blissful high and having to take it away, he nonetheless slipped his hands out when he felt her walls tighten around his fingers, a string of slick coming out when he did. If her hands hadn't been tied up she would have surely slapped him across the face for denying her such pleasure.
"Yeosang!" She cried out, whining like a little child throwing a tantrum.
"Hush now my Lady. Just trust me and be patient."
Licking his fingers clean of her arousal, he went back to black box to take out the next items for their little field night: a pure white candle and a black lighter, the latter which he played around with and inspected in his fingers.
"Marvelous invention really. I remember there was a time I had to light a match almost every 5 minutes. Times have changed for the better."
Y/N tensed up when she heard match.
What on earth was her hell boy up to?
Hearing the soft clink of the lighter, she braced herself for whatever was going to come. For a moment nothing happened, but as soon as she let her guard down, Yeosang commenced his plan and let some of the hot wax drop onto her chest, landing right in between her breasts. Y/N jolted up at the intense and searing sensation.
"Yeo-Yeosang!" She gasped out in a high pitched tone.
He didn't respond but simply let two more drops of wax fall across her breathtaking chest, making her mouth fall open in shock.
"Mistress? How are you feeling?" He made sure to inquire before proceeding.
"I'm.......good....please....keep going."
He was beyond satisfied with her answer and decided to continue. Letting out the artistic side of him come out, he held the lighter closer to the candle to make it melt faster. Droplets of wax began to cover her chest and abdomen, forming a variety of designs that were leaving her breathless each time the hot substance made contact with her oiled skin. She never would have guessed that a messy and scorching object could inflict such an addicting pain that made her pool even more between her legs. Yeosang even dropped some of it down in her inner thighs, careful not to drop anything directly on her lady parts. That was strictly off limits. He focused on hitting points that would serve to stimulate her senses even further and it seemed to be working. Of course it would. He knew and understood her body more than anyone else, each time her chest rose, her toes curled or a change in her breathing, he knew what it all meant, having studied her body language for so long.
He took a step back and admired his artwork, a proud smile on his face as he saw the hardening wax all across her body.
"Mesmerizing." He complimented.
Tugging at the ropes binding her wrists, she grunted in desperation.
"Yes my lady I'm quite aware of how needy you are to have something inside of you, but let me remind you that you gave me free leave to do as I pleased..."
Once more, he dug into the blach chest, eyes gleaming when he took out one of his all time favorite play pieces: a rubber black and red flogger. He slowly fanned the tresses out, hovering it over his Mistress's face and dragging the material down her body, letting her get a hint of what was going to come next.
"And I intend to make the best of it."
As soon as he finished saying those words, his wrist skillfully twisted the device back and let it fall against her skin. Y/N wheezed sharply when she felt the slight sting. Swallowing a non-existent lump down her throat, she took a deep breath which had Yeosang laughing darkly.
"Too much?" He challenged her.
Not wanting to let the demon have the satisfaction, she let out a dry laugh, her head falling back.
"More like not enough. I thought you demons could do better than that.....perhaps I should have enlisted the help of a true incubus. I bet they deliver and never disappoint. That cute one that visited you once, San, do you think his offer is still on the table?"
Her words were deliberately filled with venom and malice, all for the intention of rousing the demon next to her. If her blindfold wasn't on, she would have been able to see his eyes change into the fiery blood orange color they turned to whenever he lost control and was no longer composed. He especially hated being compared to an incubus and more hear his mistress mention going to one of them. Wanting to silence that cackle of hers, he abruptly struck the flogger down on her lower stomach with even more force than the last one, effectively shutting her laughs up.
"The day you actually permit one of those degenerated, sick and perverted bastards taint your body, is the day I'm breaking hell loose and unleashing all its fury.....
And I'll fucking drag you down there to spend eternity with me."
Without giving her a chance to respond, he raised the object once again, flinging it down across her chest, stomach, even her inner thighs repeatedly. He paused for a few seconds between strokes, making her think it would over before starting over again. Y/N was releasing very loud yells, legs and hands writhing in place as they could not move much due to the restraints that kept her down. Yeosang knew she was already spilling a few tears.
"What? I thought you wanted this my lady? Don't you loved being tortured like this? I know you do."
Stopping momentarily, he feathered some of the tresses over her clit, causing her to become anxious about his next target.
"Such a dirty and sinful girl. I bet you're dying to have me flog this wet cunt of yours until the folds become red and swollen........"
Flipping the toy around, he pressed the round head of the handle against her clit and slid it down her folds until it reached farther down towards her anal opening.
"Or perhaps I should stuff the shaft right into your ass and fuck it til you're begging me to stop, and even then I'll keep going."
Removing the toy, he brought it back up and struck it against her genitals, causing it to instantly throb.
"Oh fuck!" She jerked what little movement she could muster of her hips, not expecting him to actually follow through on his threats.
"I like the first option a lot better actually."
With a sadistic smile on his face, he struck at her pretty little folds a few more times until it was a bright pink color, pussy lips puffed up and tender to the touch. Bending down, he blew air into her dripping hole, which had her shivering from how sensitive it had become.
"Just how I like it."
Y/N already had beads of sweat all over her body, giving her a subtle glow. The hair near her scalp was moist from how much she was sweating. Yeosang hadn't even entered her yet and she was already clenching around nothing as she felt the bed shift next to her. Using her sense of hearing to help her out, she could hear something light make a small thud on the ground, which she guessed was Yeosang's white dress shirt. Her theory was proved true as she then heard a zipper being undone and a belt buckle been loosened. She moaned out when she felt her demon's heated body right on top of hers. She wanted to reach her hands out and run them across his blonde hair, also craved to see his ridiculously handsome face as he fucked her into the sheets. That face that when she first saw she swore it could only belong in an angel, but soon learned she was deceived as it belonged to a hellish being.
Her lips happily welcomed Yeosang's when they sought them out, this time being a little more tender and intimate. His hands rested on her hips as he aligned himself to her entrance. She winced when his thick head slapped against her swollen clit, which he shushed immediately.
"There there my beautiful lady. I promise the sting will only last a little bit, but then you'll enjoy it."
With one swift move of his hips, he pierced through her entrance, his length that on more than one occasion had her mouth watering stretched her out so nicely. Combined with the red hot pain that was spread across her folds, Y/N's throat let out a strangled sound mixed with pleasure at him intruding so suddenly. Not wasting time, the demon expertly moved his hips, angling them so his pelvis would rub against her seering red clit, which further added to the otherworldly sensation he was forcing her to enjoy.
"Oh my- shit! Yeosang! Please!" She begged him, hands shaking violently in desperation at wanting to hold him closer to her.
"I'm afraid I must refuse this request my sweet mistress. You're not the only one allowed to have fun." He released that peculiar evil giggle of his that had her body heating up even more.
Yeosang's raspy grunts mixed with her own whimpering cries, the loud thudding of the bed underneath them was the only other sound accompanying their lustful orchestrations. He was making sure it was nothing less than intense, hips snapping violently, nails digging into her skin, if they were sharper they would probably be drawing blood. One of them came up to rip the choker off her neck, wanting to see the mark that matched the one on his wrist, the mark which was forever embedded on her skin and his after their contract was signed and sealed permanently. He watched with fascination and delight as it began to emit a faint glow, his doing the same.
"Mine...all mine. You'll always be mine. I'll never let anyone else have you."
He growled those words along the skin of her neck, kissing at her glowing mark and occasionally biting down on it. He began snarling as he heard her pant, chest rising up and down at a fast pace as she began nearing her climax.
"Yeosang....please! At least let me see you!" She pleaded. If she couldn't at least hold him, she definitely wanted to see his ethereal face as he spilled his wicked seed inside her.
He let out a hum before obliging her request, wanting to see her pretty face as well. Her vision needed a few seconds to adjust from the overwhelming pleasure she was getting, mixed with the tears in her eyes that couldn't let her clearly see her diabolical lover that was grinning down at her in an impurely manner.
"Release yourself mistress. Give yourself to me, all of it. I want to feel the end of your sins. Join me in this blazing fire...."
Reaching up, his hand grasped at her neck, cutting off enough oxygen to have her feeling dazed.
"Cum for me." He ordered her, eyes lighting up once more.
Unable to resist his wicked charms, she screamed out his name over and over as she convulsed underneath him, the fire pooling at her lower abdomen breaking loose as she came all over him. Her mind shut down and could not focus on anything other than the immense pleasure he was putting her through. Gripping her waist harshly, Yeosang incoherently sputtered out curses and swears in such a demonic tone as he spilled his fiery cum inside of her, not stopping until he had made sure to give her all of him.
"Holy shit!" He ironically declared, panting fiercely, a small choking gasp escaping slightly from his throat.
"Oh my god...." Y/N couldn't help but say as she felt her head still spin from that extreme high she was in.
"I don't think the big guy is willing to allow himself to be claimed after such a spectacle." He snorted as he pulled out of her and began untying the ropes that bound her.
Her arms and legs fell flat on the bed, completely worn out. She groaned even when Yeosang picked her up and began carrying her into the bedroom, where he had already previously prepared a warm, bubbly, fruity scented bath for her since he knew things were going to get messy and harsh. He tenderly placed her inside, fingers brushing away the hair sticking to her forehead.
"Please just relax in there a few minutes my lady. The residue of the wax will slip off quite easily." He assured her.
When he attempted to leave, her numb arm reached out and clasped his wrist.
"Join me..."
When she saw the hesitation on his face, she looked at him determinedly.
"That's an order."
He couldn't help the proud smile on his face at her taking charge. When he met her, after she summoned him, she was such a naive and pitiful girl, always being pushed around by others and never taking a stand for herself much less assert herself or that dominance that he knew resided in her. But that changed after he came into her life, she learned to make herself known, she no longer responded to no one and had become a lot more confident in herself and her decisions. And he was extraordinarily proud of his little flower for blooming so much.
Which is why he was now stepping into the luxurious bathtub, moving himself to sit behind her, his hands wrapping themselves around her waist. Y/N rested her head on his shoulder, eyes closing and enjoying the low soft voice of the demon behind her singing a song in a language she didn't understand, probably Latin or some other demonic language. She was so lost in his gentle and soothing caresses, a smile tugged on her lips.....until she felt those hands travel north.
"Yeosang!" She exclaimed when he cupped her breasts and kneaded them in his hands.
Turning her head, her offended face was met with his shameless one.
"What? They're just so soft and squishy and, and- it's like they were made for me." It still shocked her to see him break out of his corrupted, formal character and suddenly turn into a blushy, soft and cuddly boy.
"You're a pervert." She accused him yet made no move to remove his hands off her or order him to stop.
Chuckling, he began kissing the back of her neck.
"Don't blame me my lovely Y/N, after all.....
This is my sinful duty."
