★ --;; If Vash is bad at anything in this city, it's actually looking at the phone he was given- or even keeping it charged in the first place. He's still not used to the thing, often leaving it on his bedside table and forgetting about it. It's no skin off his nose, though; he'd always preferred meeting others face to face, and communicating across such long distances without radio waves back on No Man's Land was nigh on impossible. So it's no wonder that he hasn't bothered to check the contacts, only just now while he's out and about able to see--
" ... Livio!?"

ok ok here's the wip from the tag game. i didnt count the sentences i just started going ham and stopped writing when i ran out of words to say. someday it will be finished and we will all finally get to witness the end of seb's origin story or whatever. but now isn't that time. idk when that will be <3 but for now. have this
“I love you, you know. More than anything in the whole world.” How sweet. Unfortunately a lie, though. It meant nothing. From the first time the words were uttered, up until the very last - it meant nothing. The love wasn’t there, never had been.
If it was, would it have led to the endless years of torture one single man had to endure, at the hands of the one he loved? Would it have left him gasping for air in a pool of his own blood? Would he have called your name, instead of someone else’s?
Would he have trusted you?
Questions no one will ever have the answers to. Either because it doesn’t matter, or, more realistically, no one cares. Whether the love was there or not, it got results, and at the end of the day, that’s all Arasaka ever wanted.
But this…
This was something else, something entirely out of their control - or so they said.
“It was all him, he became violent, and we had to act fast, in case someone got killed,” is how they justified it to themselves, in secret. Never once uttered those words out loud.
Instead, all they said to each other was “Who?”
Who? The man you had made suffer for years on end, chasing a high that kept getting further and further away, until you lost sight of it?
Him?
“We don’t know who that is, sorry.”
His presence haunts you like a ghost, roaming the halls, screaming out for someone, anyone to come and help. To save him. He’s there, in the back of your mind, asking you why you chose to do it. Was it worth it? Was it worth the sleepless nights? Why did you do it? Who started it?
Who decided to play God?
And more importantly,
Why me?
---
“There we go, now you look like you actually belong somewhere.” The woman laughed, a warm smile growing on her face as she looked up at Sebastian, who stared at himself in the mirror in disbelief.
No more clothes that were falling apart at the seams, full of holes and stains and memories. Now he finally looked the part - Corporate Chic. The straight lines, the dark colours, the elegant fabrics, they swallowed him whole. When he looked at his reflection, he couldn’t see himself anywhere.

" oh my god – look at this little cactus. isn't it precious? " gentle hands hold up the plant, a small one with a little pink flower settled on top, " it looks like a pom-pom ! i'd take it home but i think i have too many plants already ... " there's three dying on her windowsill. if there was an opposite of having a green thumb, they had it, " but cacti don't need a lot of attention, right ? just love and water every few business days ? "

Consider: yandere Farm Sans
He's almost always smiling and speaking softly, he's helpful, and he always has something for you, whether it's a trinket or a snack of some kind
He's patient and a close listener, and he's a lot smarter than he seems. It wouldn't take much scheming for him to devise a plan of sorts, and then to execute it, all he has to do is invite you over for dinner. He's always been kind to you before and he's sweet, so thinking nothing of it, you go to his place
You're making pleasant conversation and talking to him at the table while you eat, then all of a sudden, you start feeling lightheaded and drowsy. You black out, and when you wake up, you're in another dimly lit room, laying on a bed of straw. There's fresh fruits and vegetables there to eat and water to drink, and he cooks for you too, but god have mercy on you if you try to escape, because it might look to him like you're taking his kindness and hospitality for granted
If you somehow anger him and he kills you, you could be turned into fertilizer for the crops. Your clothes could be bleached or heavily stain treated and then put on a scarecrow. No one would have any idea where you went, and they'd certainly never hear from you or see you again
