MLB x DC | soulmates au, heavy angst

In a world where soulmates can sense each other’s feelings, marinette has to block out her bond with her soulmate as much as possible so she won’t be a target or get distracted while fighting off hawkmoth.

Unfortunately, that leads to her soulmate thinking she doesn’t want them and living a chunk of their life wondering why.

“Why did you block me out?” Their grip on her biceps tightens. She can hear the desperation in their voice, see the tears welling up in their eyes as they stare her down.

Marinette’s heart aches for them. She wants wipe their tears, take them into her arms and never let them go.

So Villain (Akumatized or not, maybe Gotham rogue?) Marinette. With the song "I know you're out there" playing in the background. Literally.

Everyone in Gotham is confused why this seemingly sweet and innocent song keeps playing on repeat and no one knows where it's coming from so they're all warry. Especially a specific bat because they got reminded of a past friend that had a liking to sending notes with paper planes, which keep raining down on Gotham btw, and would have been really beautiful if not the dread people feel when they notice the blood on each one of them or something like that.

Anyways, people suspect the Riddler but that bat knew better (u pick who, but I want Timnette ) and basically rogue!Mari x Bat lol. With this dreaded song that sounded so criptic for me.

This was rushed so u edit some stuff but I think u get the gist lol. I just wanted to write it down incase I forget

Why did you decide to make your first ML fic a salt fic?

Hii, sorry for not answering sooner!

I don't know, I guess it's because most of the ML fics I read it's salt one, mostly Daminette and Timnette. And I really liked these fics and they gave me inspiration to write one, but then when I tried to decided a ship, I thought: "Why not make Nino the main character, but who will be his partner?" and then I thought of Damian; my favorite Batboy. So yeah, that was pretty much the process of making this fic.

Tim hadn’t planed to check in on the magazine photoshoot, but Dick was unavable to make sure that everything was kosher so it was up to Tim to make sure that all the models were safe and getting compensated properly.

Tim got to the photoshoot and saw the moedls that were getting make up applied when he saw her. Beautiful raven hair, bright bluebell eyes, and a sweet face, she was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen. And now she was walking over to him.

“Hey, you’re Tim Drake right?” her voice was as beautiful as she was.

“Uh, yeah, he is me, I mean I am him, I mean-” She cut him off

“Don’t worry, I used to stutter really badly too, though specifically around cute people. I’m glad I grew out of that.”

He nodded and then held out a hand. “It’s mice to neet you. I mean-” Tim took a deep breath. “IT’s nice to meet you.”

This is VERY similar to the Story where Marinette is the clone of Superman and Bridgette only that here Bridgette isn't the other donor. BRUCE WAYNE is.

Lex stole the DNA during a Gala and BOOM a little Marinette was created.

Well...actually her name is Martha Antoinette...but she prefers Marinette.

She gets a Supersuit, which she Designs herself obviously, and becomes Lady Miracle.

She'll later get the name 'Mar Kal-El' too and will create a Team with Superboy and Red Robin.

Maribat AU where Robin gets kidnapped and ends up getting free about a week later but is In Paris doing a akuma attack and thinks the whole thing is a drunk induced dream.

This means that Robin is just going abselutly creazy and fighting and jumping of buildings and acting as if nothing can hurt him as he thinks it’s a dream.

And then we have ladybug who finds this hero on her home turf, acting absolutely crazy and kicking ass while doing it.

And bc Robin doesn’t think this is real anyway her flirts with her the whole time, but in a fun way.

This goes on for a while (it’s a long battle and Chat is nowhere to find (Adrian got killed early in the attack) (the miraculous cure will bring him back Don’t worry)) and then at one point robin does get hurt, and finally realize that like, shit this is not a dream.

And ladybug is like, I freaking wish it was a dream dude I have to fight this shit every second day.

Anyway, they have a angsts conversation and ladybug comes with a absolutely crazy battle plan that just leaves robin sitting there like??? I have had military levels strategy classes since I was 10 how tf did you make this plan?? And ladybug is like, it’s gonna work, trust me. And robin is like, bet.

No surprise for anyone but robin, ladybugs plan works. And they win the battle and all is great + they have a icecream date at the lovers icecream place thingy.

( + a scene where Robin is like??? Why are shops still open y’all were just attacked, and ladybug is like, we do this everyday & we don’t have enough fucks left to give about this butterfly furry to shut down the stores everytime)

And then Robin has to go home and Ladybug gives him a lift with the butterfly miraculous.

(Droppes him of at the manor going “I found your birdy” and then winks at Robin and hearts away. That batfam is just there like???? The fucj just happened also are you okay?)

And then after that robin and Ladybug keep in contact over comes and do date night in each other’s city’s for a few months before something really dumb reveals their identities.

Ok so Mari wants to take the pranks to the new level, and she knew exactly where the line. Rules are just suggestions to guide the societal defined ‘right’ & moral abiding behaviour. All’s fair in chaotic love and prank wars.

So Mari has this conversation with her friend or SO:

Imagine if marinette godfather was the flash like literally the superhero the flash. Doesn't matter which(Barry Allen or Jay Garrick) but just imagine if lol. Like it was Canon at one point that bruce had one toddler godson as batman(no seriously its canon trust me I've been a dc fanatic since babyhood I know my comics) only to loose him to generic evil so he still as batman claimed the kids previously unknown twin bro as his godson only for the kid to never be seen again.....personally I always liked headcanoning that in a world where Barry never died Bruce would have asked him to be Jason's godfather when he was adopting him. Lol imagine Marinette and Jason bonding by smack talking about wally....IMAGINE BART JOINING IN BECAUSE HE LOVES A GOOD ROASTING.

Sup ok so this blog was mainly made to spread awareness/knowledge to to maribat/maridc fandoms. Lol 😆 my actual main blog was getting to cluttered with maribat stuff for my liking sooo.
