in the past three hours I have:

- unpacked my purse from last night/found spots on my bookshelf for my birthday gifts from my friends

- unpacked my backpack from my trip to @a-little-lynx on Monday for our photoshoot

- cleaned the litter box

- tidied up the entire apartment

- deep cleaned the bathroom

- gathered Lettie’s toys (the ones she isn’t using right now) and put them in her toy corner

- cleaned a bunch of dishes

- cleared out the fridge and the produce that fell victim to the ADHD tax

- gathered dirty laundry thus far for laundry day on Tuesday

- spot-cleaned the carpet from some mud

- put away all of my sex toys that Lettie keeps dragging out

- reorganized my makeup

- taken out the trash

- scarfed down dinner SO quickly (and am currently praying it doesn’t come back to bite me in the ass because my tinytinytiny stomach tends to not like when I eat quickly)

It is time to get stoned and take a bubble bath in a little bit. I’ll finish the last few tasks (easy ones!) in the morning before my parents get here. Next year for my birthday I want to not have to host people in a tiny cluttered studio apartment with, like, two days’ notice.

anyways the last week and a half or so has been very odd in that i somewhat abruptly became capable of working on things and experiencing joy semi-consistently again but also am, to be so honest with you, maybe experiencing a teensy tinytinytiny bit of mania and am broadly sort of Emotional. and now i also have cramps so that's going on too. i think all of this is more or less the result of the following things: 1) hormones, 2) the days getting longer, 3) booking a trip to see friends :D and 4) the effervescent joy of deepdiving back into cell biology <3
