This is pretty much just a long rant explaining a theory I have about the Magnus archives and protocol. I'll try my best to make it make sense. Spoilers for mostly tma and a little bit tmagp under the cut.

In tma we learn how the fears originated, but it is made clear that we don't know whether of not they originated in the tma universe. After tma, the fears most likely went to the tmagp universe. In the tma universe everything related to the fears can only be recorded on tape, but when they went to the tmagp universe they are able to be recorded on digital devices. What if there was a universe before tma where the only way encounters could be recorded was by writing them down? What if there was books with stories of encounters in this pre-tma universe? What if the spooky books in tma were books that came with the fears into the tma universe? What if some of the tapes carried over from tma to tmagp? What if there will be cases about spooky tapes? What if a certain man by the name of jurgan lightner collects them? That is my formal opinion on why jurgan lightner should totally come back in tmagp. Also, Gwen should continue the family legacy and murder him brutally with a pipe.

BETTER have had an experiment make him kill a man cuz if he didnt Im going to make him.

Being jurgen leitner the day that gerry almost killed him was probably really surreal. Imagine you’re minding your business, collecting fucked up books, and out of nowhere this goth guy covered in eye tattoos shows up and beats you half to death, then stops, goes, “no you’re too pathetic to be jurgen leitner” and leaves without further elaboration. And you dont correct him, you like being alive after all, and after that you just… continue with your life. And then several years later you tell this to some random guy in the tunnels you’ve been hiding in, and he not only knows who the goth was, but seems somewhat fond of the goth. And then you get brutal pipe murdered by the random guy’s boss. Oops
