There will be more Jedtavius in the next parts I promise, I just thought this would be a funner introduction to the AU lmao
I just love those little guy dudes from the museum so much hfjdks and now we get two pairs of them
Also, fun fact, I took Steve's Roman name from, like, an actual king of Rome. The actual sixth king. He seemed like a chill dude.
Anyway, there's a meme at the end and as always, if you see any typos, no you didn't ;)
---------
When Robin took this job as a night guard, she didn't think the previous guard's words about history coming to life at night was, you know, real. She thought it was a joke, a predictable and corny joke, but a joke nonetheless.
But now, after being chased by a T-Rex, getting saved by Theodore Roosevelt, and almost being taken captive by fucking Attila the Hun, Robin thinks this job definitely isn't worth $16.50 an hour. Then again, this is the best paying job she's had in a while, and she was living a nocturnal life anyway.
Robin groans, leaning against a wall in the diorama exhibit, and slides down to the floor. She lets her head fall back against the wall, her eyes slipping shut as she slides. "This is crazy. This is insane. I need to find a fucking weapon or something," she mutters.
"Pardon me," comes a voice close to her head, "but might you be the goddess Diana?"
As pick-up lines go, it's not the worst one she's heard. And, based on what she knows of Greek and Roman deities, it wouldn't be too far off. Still, she does not want to be hit on by whatever weird historical thing is trying to flirt with her.
Robin takes a deep breath, opens her eyes, and says, "Do I look like a goddess to you?"
She looks to her left where the voice came from, blinking when her gaze falls on a figurine that would barely reach her ankle. He's dressed in a toga with a chest plate, wrist guards, a sword on his waist, and a deep purple cape over his shoulders. His hair is, honestly, the most impressive thing Robin has ever seen, made only more impressive by the golden laurels resting perfectly against his temples.
He's looking at her with wide eyes, more awed than anything else. "Yes," he says. "I have heard the gods are larger than life."
Okay. Fair.
"Why Diana, man?" Robin asks.
He tilts his head, studying her for a moment, looking her up and down. "You give me the same feeling as statues of Noble Diana with her Huntresses," he explains, pausing for a moment before adding, "A feeling of kinship, perhaps?"
Oh. This...this is like ancient Roman gaydar, right? Robin snorts and turns, resting her elbow on her knee. "I'm definitely not Diana. My name is Robin. I'm the new night guard."
His eyes brighten some, his smile growing wider and certainly charming enough to make the hearts of a few girls and guys flutter. "I am Servius Tullius, Sixth King of Rome, son of Vulcan, weapons master of the gods, and adopted son of Jedediah, Cowboy King of the Wild West, and Octavius, general of the Roman army."
Robin nods, letting all of the those words process in her head before saying, "Mind if I call you Steve? You look like a Steve."
The Sixth King of Rome blinks, looking slightly confused before his eyes light up with understanding. "Ah! A nickname! Yes, I am familiar with this concept. You may call me Steve, Lady Robin, as a show of our newfound friendship."
"Yeah, don't call me Lady Robin. Just Robin is fine," she says, hesitating before offering her hand to Steve.
"As you wish, Just Robin," he says, stepping carefully onto her hand and remaining steady as she raises him higher.
Robin blinks, frowning slightly and about to correct him again when she sees his smile and realizes it's a joke. "Okay, very funny, dingus," she says, carefully poking his side.
"Is dingus another nickname? It sounds like an insult."
"It usually is, but it's affectionate when I say it."
"Oh! Yes, like when Ockie calls Jed a philistine."
"Uh, sure," Robin says, nodding once as she lets Steve move to stand on her shoulder. He quickly sits, holding onto the collar of her jacket as she carefully stands up. "Hey, you know what I'm supposed to do about the dinosaur bones?"
"Rexy? Yes, he enjoys a game of fetch."
"Fetch. Of course."
----------
"What's going on in that head of yours, little man?"
Steve blinks, looks over at Jedediah, and raises an eyebrow at him. "I'm taller than you," he says, gesturing to the good inch he has on Jedediah.
"As long as you're my son, you're a little man."
Doing his best to not laugh, Steve nods once and points to the new diorama set up in the middle of the room. It's a circular diorama, centered on an equally circular stage divided into sections. A cacophony of noise echoes from it, clashing as each slice of the stage fights for dominance. "I'm trying to figure out what in Jupiter's name they're doing over there," he says.
"Well, most of it sounds like music," Jedediah says, "I think."
"It's not any music I've heard before," Octavius says, coming to a stop next to Jedediah and frowning at the diorama. "I would have assumed it the unholy shrieking of the damned."
"Perhaps it would be nicer if they weren't all playing at once," Steve suggests, hands on his hips as he tilts his head.
"Oh, boy, there it is," Jedediah says, his grin audible in his tone. "He's got the King Face."
"What are your intentions, my boy?" Octavius asks.
Before Steve can answer, Robin strolls into the room, grinning when she sees the raving diorama in the middle. She walks over to Steve, Jedediah, and Octavius, crouches down, and says, "Hey, guys. I see you're checking out the History of Rock display."
"History of Rock?" Steve asks.
"What in the sweet hell do rocks have to do with that mess?" Jedediah asks, gesturing to the noisy stage.
Robin rolls her eyes. "No, like, rock music. It's a genre. Anyway, it was sponsored by some musician, so it's a permanent display now."
"And they will be...playing every night?" Octavius asks.
"Probably."
Steve frowns a little more and nods, rolling his shoulders back. "If they are a permanent fixture in our hallowed hall, they must be welcomed. As Sixth King of Rome, this duty falls upon my shoulders. Fathers, I shall return shortly."
"Woah, woah, hold your horses there, little man," Jedediah says, moving to stand in front of Steve. "You're not going anywhere near that snake pit without some back up."
"A few centurions, at least," Octavius agrees.
"I will have Robin. What better protection is there?"
Jedediah and Octavius glance at each other before looking at Robin. She grins and offers them a two finger salute. "I'll guard him with my life," she says, "It's literally my job."
With that reassurance, Jedediah and Octavius move out of the way. Steve steps onto Robin's hand and settles on her shoulder with practiced ease, ignoring the nervous flutter in his stomach at greeting the new museum residents. He hopes they'll get along, but he also knows the might of his Roman army and the railroad workers can crush any who stand in their way.
Robin stops next to the diorama, tilting her head as she studies it. This close, Steve can see the bands playing on each slice of stage, the instruments and fashion shifting as his gaze travels around it. "Uh, excuse me," Robin says, raising her voice.
The raucous noise from the diorama screeches to a halt, the feedback making Robin and Steve grimace slightly. "Uh, hi. We're the official welcome crew for the Hall of Miniatures here. So, I'll need someone to represent your, like, whole display," Robin says, glancing over the bands until she finds one she recognizes. "Okay, I know you guys, so I'll be designating you the spokesband. Now, could the lead singer step forward?"
Steve watches as someone on the "Corroded Coffin" (what an odd name for a band) slice of the stage steps forward. Robin offers her hand to them, carefully lifting it away once they step on. "Great, uh, carry on, I guess. But, like, maybe play some of your quieter stuff for a bit," she says, her words barely out before the music starts up and the crowds start screaming once more.
She sighs and just walks over to the bench, letting off the person on her hand before letting Steve slide down her arm in a move they spent nearly three weeks practicing if only because they knew it would look cool.
When he hops onto the bench, Steve walks up to the other miniature, a man his age with long hair and odd clothes with tears that Robin once said were fashionable. His instrument is still slung over his shoulders, resting casually against his hips much like Steve's sword. Steve suddenly finds himself thinking that the man looks a little like a warrior. An odd one, to be sure, but a handsome one nonetheless.
He flashes his most charming smile, lets his shoulders relax, and says, "My friend here is Robin, Guardian of Brooklyn. I am Servius Tullius, Sixth King of Rome, son of Vulcan, weapons master of the gods, and adopted son of Jedediah, Cowboy King of the Wild West, and Octavius, general of the Roman army. You, however, may call me Steve."
-----
As far as Eddie was concerned, nothing mattered so long as Corroded Coffin got to keep rocking in an endless concert. The energy never waned, the set list never grew boring, and the music never stopped. He was ready to inform this welcoming crew of just that and promise Hell on Earth if they tried to disrupt the music (angry concert goers are a force of nature), when the words just died in his throat.
Because the most gorgeous man he's ever seen slides down that giant lady's arm, easily and smoothly landing on the bench. Somehow, his hair is perfectly windswept, the golden laurels glinting in the lights above them. His purple cape flutters softly as he walks closer, his toned thighs on full display with the toga hem that falls to the middle of them. There's a sword on the guy's hip, a chest plate that Eddie wants to pull off, a smile he wants to taste, and a pair of freckles right next to each other on the guy's cheek he wants to drag his tongue across.
He misses most of the introduction because he's too busy staring. He gets the important bits, though: Robin, a king, son of a god, adopted son of two dads. Eddie licks his lips nervously, a grin of his own tugging at his lips as he steps forward and playfully bows. "It's an honor to meet you, Your Majesty," he says.
It's supposed to come out joking, a little poke at the guy's authority to see if he can be riled up. It actually comes out way too genuine, and Eddie has a sudden realization that he meant it. He absolutely will accept this guy as his king, actually. He'll fall to his knees before him right now if asked, and not just because it might give him a little peek under the dude's toga.
"Please, just call me Steve. There's no need to be so formal."
Eddie bites the inside of his cheek, hoping Steve doesn't realize that the things Eddie is thinking about (the things he wants to do to and with Steve) are just about the least formal things on this earth. "Good to know," he says, relieved his voice sounds normal as he stands up straight and offers his hand. "Name's Eddie Munson, uh, lead singer of Corroded Coffin."
Steve blinks, and his smile becomes a bit more genuine as he steps closer and clasps Eddie's forearm. "A fellow leader," he says, squeezing Eddie's arm. "Welcome to our museum."
"Y-yeah," Eddie says, his arm still tingling when Steve lets go. He clears his throat, idly tugging on a few strands of hair. "So, uh, what's the deal around here? I mean, giant women...Roman kings...cowboys, it looks like."
"Our noble museum is home to Pharoah Ahkmenrah and his tablet, which brings the exhibits to life each night," Steve explains.
"There's a few rules, though," Robin says, sitting down on the bench behind Steve. "One, no getting into fights. Two, be back in your display by sunrise. Three, no leaving the museum at night."
"What? Why not?"
"We have lost good exhibits to Sol Invictus's morning rays," Steve says, frowning slightly. "So, be careful."
Eddie stares at Steve with wide eyes as he nods, amazed at the fact that Steve seems to talk like that so genuinely. And the fact that Eddie is...kinda into it. Holy shit, that's not helping with Eddie's whole "fall to his knees" thing. He wouldn't mind some good old-fashioned worship if Steve would just smile at him again.
Maybe his prayers are heard, because Steve smiles at him again. "Wonderful," he says. "Now, Eddie, could I interest you in a tour of the museum tonight?"
"Oh, you could interest me in a lot of things, sweetheart," Eddie blurts out, his mouth running faster than his brain.
He snaps his jaw shut, relieved and horrified at Steve's slightly confused expression and Robin's "I know what you are" thousand-yard stare from over his shoulder. Before he can try to backtrack, Steve snaps, understanding in his eyes. "Ah! Sweetheart is a nickname, yes? I accept your offer of friendship."
Eddie clenches his jaw, stopping himself from saying that it's more than friendships he's offering, and smiles. "Yeah. A nickname. That's all. I'm just...a nickname kinda guy. I'll probably think of more, too, Stevie. Like that."
Steve practically beams, and Eddie feels his knees go weak. "I look forward to it," he says, turning on his heel to look at Robin, who thankfully schools her expression. "Robin, this is where we leave you for the night. You have my word that Eddie will be back in place before sunrise."
"Well, you two kids have fun," she says, grinning in a way that immediately puts Eddie on edge. "I'd better not hear about any funny business, though. Absolutely no bases should be reached tonight, and you'd better not do any conquering or pillaging."
She definitely looks at Eddie when she says that last bit. Eddie stiffens, doing his best to hold back a blush when Steve glances over at his, the confusion clear on his face. "Conquering requires more planning than this, Robin. I've told you before."
"Don't worry about it, dingus. Just have fun. Here, I'll even call a ride for you," she says, winking at them before turning, holding her fingers to her mouth, and whistling sharply.
Steve walks over to Eddie right as the ground starts to shake, easily catching him around the waist before he can lose his balance. "The shaking does take some getting used to," he says, his tone full of sympathy and obliviousness to the crisis Eddie is experiencing.
When his brain finally catches up enough to ask what he's talking about, a dinosaur skeleton slides into the room, its body wiggling excitedly as it growls. Eddie jerks back, the arm around his waist tightening some. "What the fuck?!" he shouts.
"Worry not," Steve says, leaning closer. His voice is a little softer now, his breath fanning over Eddie's ear. "This is Rexy, our steed for the evening. He's very friendly."
"Friendly," Eddie mumbles, letting himself be dragged over to Rexy and placed on the dinosaur's head by Robin. "The dinosaur is friendly."
"Many of the exhibits are," Steve tells him, grinning brightly as Rexy begins moving after a pet on the snout from Robin.
Eddie looks at him, feeling blinded by Steve's smile once more, and completely forgets about the living dinosaur skeleton.

Dec 8th: Dead Give Away, Innit?
Written for @steddieholidaydrabbles
prompt: Idiots to Lovers | AO3: link | wc: 861 | rating: G | cw: none | tags: Wayne POV, first kiss, oblivious
Summary: Wayne is tired of Steve and Eddie, beating around the bush. It's obvious that when their 'kids' ask them to host a holiday party together they're ready for these two to get together too.
❆˗ˋˏ ♡ ˎˊ˗❆
Wayne ducked his head out of the kitchen to see Eddie struggling, arms full ,trying to get through their small home’s door. He was about to help when he saw a familiar tan hand and scarred wrist help his nephew. Steve Harrington, back again.
Wayne waited a beat and then headed out after them. Eavesdropping was something he rarely did around Eddie, the boy deserved his privacy, but… he was curious what the two were up to this time. He hung back a little, listening to the young men while standing just inside the front door.
continues after the cut
He didn’t quite hear what Eddie said but he caught Steve’s reply.
“No, this time Max called.”
“What?”
“Yeah, she wanted to make sure we weren’t just ‘throwing it together’ last minute.”
“What a little ingrate,” Eddie exclaimed.
Wayne cracked the door open and watched as Steve leaned in toward Eddie, startling him into a low chuckle. “You love her.”
“You… no, you ‘Mama’ Harrington,” Eddie said, poking Steve in the chest, inches away from his face now. “You know, that’s what they call you.”
Wayne held his breath. Is this it?
Steve stepped back. “I guess I’ve got a reputation to uphold. So you better be bringing your ‘a’ game Eddie.”
“Sports ref-”
Wayne exhaled and stepped outside into the chill, Indiana winter air. Idiots. “-what’s all this now boys?”
Steve waved, and Eddie grinned before picking his gear back up. “The kids insisted we host a holiday party for them,” he huffed, loading an amp and his guitar into the back of the van.
“Yeah, very specific that we head it up,” Steve added, grimacing. “I don’t know why. I mean I’ve thrown some parties but-”
“Oh, really Stevie?”
Wayne folded his arms over his chest as he watched his boy hip check the always well groomed Harrington, slightly throwing him off balance. He also watched as the blush covered the young man’s face, and groaned lightly. The two had been fawning over each other, teasing, and then pulling back every time it looked like they might be finally getting somewhere. It’d been like that since April, and Wayne had just about had his fill.
Steve had already won him over. Harrington wasn’t given a free pass just for saving his nephew’s life, but in the following months he’d proven to be no fair weather friend to the Munsons. He shepherded those kids Eddie cared about too back and forth to physical therapy and just about anywhere else they begged him to. Steve would put on a show, all put upon, but Wayne saw the protective glint in his eye and the smile he hid every time he was ‘pressed’ to help them out. Steve was good people. But tripping over his tongue in front of Eddie was getting a little old.
Wayne suspected their extended friend group felt the same way if Steve and Eddie had been pushed to plan a holiday celebration together.
“The ‘Hair’ and his masterful party skills squandered on a lil event for a group of sophomores,” Eddie wheedled.
“Hey,” Steve protested. “And us, and Robin, she’s bringing Vickie. Jonathan and Nancy will be back in town, your DnD guys-”
“-my bandmates-”
“-both.” Steve tugged on one of Eddie’s curls. “It’s not just the kids.”
Wayne shifted his weight, fighting the urge to light up a cigarette. This has gone on long enough. “So, it sounds like you two are planning. Are the other older teens bringing anything to help out? You know, the couples other than you two. Decorations? Food?”
Steve blinked slowly. “Um, Everyone is bringing white elephant gifts. I recommended they bring snacks and drinks, but I don’t expect anyone to so I make sure to have plenty.”
“Who all is dating who now,” Wayne asked as casually as possible. If these two knuckleheads are going to keep being dense I might as well act oblivious. “I know the redhead is with Sinclair. But I never seem to know who Hopper’s kid is or isn’t seeing. And your Robin is seeing the Carmichael girl.” Steve was mouthing words without sound. Eddie had frozen where he stood. “But I suppose they wanted you two to host since you're the ones who have been together the longest and are still in town.”
Eddie’s face steadily turned bright scarlet. “What would, Wayne, what… Steve and me?”
“Aw, don’t worry none boy.” Eddie’s jaw dropped. “What,” Wayne chuckled, “was it supposed to be a secret? Jeez, you both doing this holiday get together is a bit of a dead give away innit?”
Steve’s voice was barely above a whisper. “Dustin, it was Dustin’s suggestion, and then everyone said we should…”
“Hmmm?” Wayne chose not to catch what he was saying. “Well, my two cents, if you care, is don’t get too worried about making it all perfect. Make sure you both have a good time too.” Wayne turned back to the house to hide his smile. “And don’t forget the mistletoe.”
Wayne parted the blinds a few minutes later to catch a quick glimpse of Steve and Eddie wrapped up in each other, kissing as flurries began to fall.
Finally.

Oh For a Muse of Fire! Part 14
Steve to the rescue again. Eddie is having a horrible week.
Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4 Part 5 Part 6  Part 7  Part 8  Part 9 Part 10  Part 11 Part 12  Part 13
*
When Steve came home that night, Robin was waiting for him on their couch.
“Hey, Robs,” he greeted warmly. “How was work?”
“Crystal is working out great, he’s got flare,” she said with a grin. “Like you, but different. He had us in stitches during clean up.”
Steve smiled. “I’ll miss you guys.”
Robin’s grin slid into something more dear. “Me too. But I get why you want to get the hell out of Dodge.”
Steve went to the fridge to get them a couple of sodas. When you can get your booze for free, you tend to have other kinds drinks around the house instead.
He handed her one and flopped down next her. “I talked to Mrs Byers and I’m pretty sure I’m going to ace the class. So guess who is graduating, baby?”
Robin squealed. “Yes! I guess Eddie was your lucky charm.”
Steve blushed.
“I didn’t see your painting when I came home,” she said slyly. “Is there a reason you didn’t bring it home?”
Steve’s eyes went wide. “Shit! I left in the car!” He scrambled out the door and was back in under a minute panting.
“Thank fuck it wasn’t too hot today,” he said between breathes. “Otherwise I would have started bawling.”
Robin held out grabby hands. “I want to see!”
Steve turned it around and handed the canvas to her.
“Holy shit, Steve!” she whispered. “This is really good. Like art gallery good.”
He blushed. “It’s just an assignment. It isn’t a big deal.”
“Like hell it isn’t,” she gushed. “You should submit this to the art show for graduating seniors.”
Steve opened his mouth for some excuse, but he didn’t have any. Not really. “Yeah. I’ll let Mrs Byers know.”
Robin handed the painting back and he set gently to the side.
“So what did you and Eddie do...?” she asked with a wink and then her face twisted. “If you had sex I don’t want to know that. Ew.”
Steve laughed. “How did you know I was with Eddie?”
She rolled her eyes. “Because there is no one else that you would play hooky for other than me and I since I worked, the only logical conclusion was Eddie.”
Steve’s face was nearly split in two by the grin that comment induced. “Fair enough. He had a nasty ex show up after class today and it really shook him up.”
Robin pushed his shoulder. “Fuck, dingus. You don’t know how to play fair, do you? I can’t make fun of something like that. Bastard.”
He huffed out a small laugh. “And then he wanted me to listen to some of the songs he’d been writing.”
She giggled and clapped her hands. “Anymore of them about you?”
Steve shook his head. “At least none of the ones he played for me sounded like they were about me. Not like the last one.”
Robin sighed. “Maybe they’re love songs and he’s not ready for you to hear him declare his undying love for you yet.”
He blushed. “He just so amazing, Robs. He deserves every good thing in this world and he just can’t seem to get there. And it’s pissing me off.”
“I know, sweetie,” she said. “I know.”
*
Steve and Robin walked out of their apartment the next day to see a bunch of guys surrounding Eddie.
“Call 911,” he hissed. “I’ll try to keep them busy until the cops arrive.”
Robin’s eyes were wide, but she nodded bravely.
Steve strolled toward the group with a goofy smile on his face. “Hey there, boys. I don’t think I’ve seen you guys around here before.”
The ring leader was a tall, broad-shouldered, good looking man with blond hair. The kind of person Steve would have hung out with in high school. But this was long past that.
They all turned to him and a chill went down Steve’s spine. Some of them had baseball bats and one of the had a tire iron.
And Eddie was in the middle looking terrified.
“Just keep walking,” the ringleader sneered. “We’ve got some business with the Freak here.”
The name sent a second, more dangerous chill down Steve’s spine. The Freak was what they called Eddie in high school. Because he was always out, loud, and proud and made sure it was everyone’s problem.
And then it hit him. He knew who the ringleader was. Fuck.
“Jason Carver, right?” Steve asked, goofy smile still plastered to his face.
Jason was a year behind Steve in high school at a rival school. Dude was so good he had made basketball team captain his junior year.
The ringleader turned further from Eddie to take a better look at Steve.
“Holy fuck!” Jason cursed. “Steve Harrington!”
Steve’s smile turned into a feral grin. “Oh good, you do remember me. And you’ll know that I’m famous for stopping what you’re about to do.”
“Steve!” Robin cried. “Catch!”
Steve’s hand came up and when it came back down everyone was staring at the bat now in his grasp. The top of it had been decorated with nails.
“I take this to Pride every year,” Steve said casually, like he was talking about the weather. “It’s my anti-homophobe bat. It’s a great deterrent for assholes like you.”
He twirled it around, warming up his wrist. “So are you going to walk away or are you boys going to be introduced to Hela?”
Jason looked at his friends and then back at Steve. “There are five of us and only one of you, you really think you can take all of us?”
Steve smiled warmly. “Of course not, I just have to keep you busy until the cops show up.”
Jason’s friends started to mutter to themselves.
Jason scoffed. “You didn’t have time to call the cops.”
Steve batted his eyelashes innocently at Jason. “I’ve never said I did. Robin called them while we were talking.”
They started to look at each other worryingly.
“And if I know Eddie,” Steve continued, “he’s hit the emergency button on his cell phone so that the cops have a recording you threatening to jump me with your buddies.”
Jason sneered. “I think you’re bluffing.” His friends didn’t look convinced.
“Hey, man,” one of the said, putting a hand on Jason’s arm, “if they did call the cops we need to get out of here.”
“Pussy,” Jason sneered, pulling away from him and grabbing the tire iron from him. “I’ll handle this myself.”
Steve cocked his head to the side. “I’m going so wreck that pretty face of yours Carver.”
Jason snarled like a cornered animal, full of rage and fear. He leapt forward swinging the iron like a club, all brute force and no finesse.
Steve loosened the muscles in his neck as Jason swung wildly passed where Steve had been previously, having stepped deftly to the side.
“That’s not the way you swing, you moron,” he heckled. “Maybe you should have taken some baseball with your basketball like I did.” Steve swung and tapped the back of Jason’s jacket. Not hard enough to actually hurt him, but enough that Jason stumbled as he was off balance because of his swing.
Jason fought to stay on his feet, but managed to whirl around to face Steve.
“You want to try again?” Steve asked, brightly.
Jason charged at him again and again Steve side stepped him, tapping him on the back as he passed.
Then there was the bee-whoop of a cop car pulling up. The four other guys pushed at each other in panic as they tried to run. But they ran straight into the arms of the waiting officers.
“Just put down the weapons, boys,” a big burly man said into his megaphone.
Steve laughed. “I’d love to, Chief Hopper. But I’mma gonna wait until he puts his down first.”
Hopper sighed so loud Steve could hear it without it being amplified by the megaphone.
“Harrington, I should have known,” Hopper croaked into the megaphone. “You! The other one.” Jason turned to him in shock at being called ‘the other one’. “I’d best be putting that tire iron down, before Steve decides you’re not worth the effort and flattens your face right quick.”
Jason looked back at Steve and then to Hopper. He slowly put the iron down. Steve did the same to his bat and kicked it behind him, where Robin ran to pick it up.
Jason held up his hands and slowly stood up. One of the deputies came running up and handcuffed him.
“You’re going to pay for this, Munson!” Jason snarled.
Eddie waved from where he was at Robin’s side, having dashed over there while the idiots were watching Jason and Steve fight.
They had to call Diamond and let him know they would be late. Eddie tried to call Joyce, but Hopper put a hand over his phone and gently lowered it.
“I’ve already let her know, son,” Hopper told him. “She says she’ll cancel classes for the rest of the week, if you need.”
Eddie shook his head. “Jus–just for today.”
Hopper nodded. “You take care, all y’all.”
Once their statements had been taken and they were allowed to leave, Steve put his hand on Eddie’s shoulder. “If you need me to call in again, I will.”
Eddie shook his head. “You still need to pay rent, Stevie. I’ll hang out with Uncle Wayne today.”
Steve grinned. “Good plan, nothing beats a tire iron like a mechanic’s wrench.”
Eddie grinned back. “I like the way you think, sweetheart.”
Steve pushed his shoulder. “Go on. Some of us have to work for our living.”
Eddie laughed and walked to his van, Steve shaking his head as he watched him go.

With the whole "Munson doctrine" bs. Eddie wasn't just against the jocks and the bullies (and there's no proof that he was seriously bullied? Just a bit of an outcast?). He was against anyone that was a part of what he called conformity. In that stupid speech on the table he called out people in band and those who like science for forced conformity. Other outcasts, other people that would have been bullied. Because they liked something he didn't.
It wasn't about self defense, it was an I'm right, you're wrong mentality, that his interests were the only valid interests.
Also, this is why I *hate* the idea of Eddie and Robin being friends or having some sort of alliance pre-s4 (or even pre-s3) because she's in band and likes band and he canonically criticized being in band as forced conformity. Why would she be friends with someone who is so vocally against something she enjoyed?
Oh yes I think Eddie has a bee in his bonnet about people who don't......conform.....to his brand of nonconformity. But I do think part of it is self preservation, or at least started out that way but grew into something else? Eddie is an outcast, has a non-nuclear family, and is poor, and all that shapes his view, but it also doesn't stop him from ostracizing people who he thinks aren't outcast enough or in the correct way (Subconsciously, at least.) Eddie thinks the only way to be a weirdo and a freak is to be loud about it, to be purposely obnoxious, to not even consider the normie hobbies or interests as something worth your time.
But as you've said band geeks and science nerds would also be in the crossfire. Heck, the party are all science nerds! I guess that didn't actually interfere with Eddie's interests though. Until inevitably a big county/state science fair or something would be on Hellfire night, and then it might have (except the Duffers would not have done that because they want to continue the nerd v jock thing happening that's just so stupid). He left Lucas out to dry, what's to say he wouldn't do the same to the other boys?
Part of what makes Eddie a fun and interesting character is that we get a glimpse of him starting to realize the strict us vs them, jocks vs nerds, conformity vs nonconformity binaries he's built around himself are not so clear-cut when he talks to Steve in the upside down. But it took him seeing Steve being a chill and kind guy, as opposed to Lucas who was in Hellfire since the beginning of the year to make him see that. Maybe he viewed Lucas as betraying them by joining basketball, but Steve, moving in the """opposite direction""" away from ""jockdom"" was what made it click for him. Eddie has a lot of issues to work through regarding expectations and nonconformity.
Oh. Yes I don't think, in canon, Eddie and Robin would be friends pre S4. Like I think aus that show us how he works through things (or at least tells us he did) can be fun. But when there's just the assumption that they'd be friends pre S4 or even pre S3 without either of them changing from how we were introduced to them? Uhg. Robin thinks Eddie is an annoying weirdo who stepped on her lunch one time :( and said the band uniforms were stupid and she took offense to that because he acted like it was their fault and not the school's. Eddie thinks Robin is some boring band dweeb and never thinks about her unless it's a vauge sort of "oh she's talking to Dustin" way.
It's also frustrating because Steve is often left behind in these AUs, and Eddie replaces him as Robin's best friend [at least at the start] One of the reasons stobin is so powerful is because they were both lonely losers who happened to find their forever friend in scoops ahoy. Robin having a close friend she's out to before that doesn't make sense, especially since it's heavily implied Steve is the first person she's told, which is why that scene means so much!

Argyle listened while Steve jotted off all the Dos and Don’ts of the evening. He nodded, but in his heart he knew he had this. Argyle had babysat a couple of times. Even though this particular gaggle included a girl with super powers and the rest who had a part in a government cover up, they were still kids. In fact they were old enough to not need a babysitter but there was no telling Steve that apparently.
But he seemed satisfied with his run down of the rules with Argyle, so he then turned to the children in question and went over them again, much to the younger teens’ annoyance.
Jonathan gave him that look. The ‘I’m gonna have an ulcer before 20 look’ and he pulled Argyle aside.
“Look, I’m not supposed to tell you this. But this is a test”, Jonathan whispered.
“A test? Dude, it’s summer vacation.”
“It’s for you. Steve and Nancy are seeing how well you can handle the kids.”
Argyle looked to the group that was settling in for a night at the Byers’ residence.
“I don’t think they need much handling, dude.”
Jonathan gave him a meaningful look. “Do you remember how my mom left us to go to Alaska? And before the day was over, dudes were shooting at us?”
Argyle nodded. He still didn’t think they had anything to worry about.
Steve clapped his hands. “Alright, if I hear anything about some trouble-”
“You’ll have our asses”, the kids recited.
“Glad to know we’re on the same page. That goes double for you, Cali”, Steve said. “You’re the adult here.”
Steve didn’t scare Argyle normally. But there was something in his eyes today. Like if a single hair was out of place, his ass WOULD be on a mantle.
So when two hours later, Argyle found himself, having to distract some guy he didn’t know while the kids were in the process of breaking and entering, he felt his ass tingle a little. They had less than ten minutes to get back to the house and pretend everything was fine.
Somehow they had convinced him that sneaking into some guy named Tommy’s house was the more important thing. Argyle was pretty sure he had disagreed but somehow found himself in a car with Will behind the wheel. Mike had been barking out orders as usual. Max had been yelling right back at him.
Lucas was trying to be the voice of reason while Dustin spouted off directions for Will and how to get into the house through the window. El had been silent until they arrived and then she became a breaking and entering machine.
Meanwhile, Argyle was at the front door, trying to keep this Tommy guy from leaving it. He had to distract from the sound of movement upstairs and the definite thump of someone falling to the ground outside. These were the same kids that snuck around a Russian base?
------------------
“I know those kids are like, your precious gifts from above”, Eddie said. “But they’re practically adults by now.”
“That’s really rich coming from you.”
“I don’t know if that’s a ‘super-senior’ joke or a jab at my maturity.”
“Why not both?”, Robin teased.
“Was this a fair test?”, Jonathan asked. “None of us have ever had to deal with all of them alone.”
“That’s why we didn’t unleash Erica on him”, Nancy said.
“And I had to take care of most of them when Billy came for Max. He’s got the advantage of no one actively searching out the kids right now”, Steve added.
“I just think it could be a little more balanced”, Jonathan continued as they made their way back to the house.
When they arrived, they were met with what they left. Everyone was in the living room, eyes glued to the screen, as if they didn’t wanna be caught doing anything else. Which clearly meant they had been doing something else. Both Nancy and Steve crossed their arms.
“Sooo? How was it?”, Steve asked.
“Real chill man”, Argyle said.
“Yeah”, Will added. “It was real chill.”
“Just a boring night”, Max gave a fake yawn.
“We didn’t do anything that was against your rules”, Dustin smirked.
They all knew that smirk said he had found a loop hole. But the point was they were all here and all safe.
“Okay then, make some room for us!”, Eddie exclaimed, pulling Steve over. Despite his words, he plopped down right on Argyle’s lap, then pulled Steve onto his. Argyle was high enough that the weight of two grown men on him felt comforting.
The others came to join in and finish out the night and the movie here. And if Steve later heard that vandals had ransacked Tommy H’s room, well everyone he knew had an alibi for the night.

part 2 of this!!!
this is going to be way longer than I originally thought lmao also there’s a mention of dnd but i have no clue about how the game works so I apologize in advance
the phone rings 7 times before steve finally picks it up. he kinda hoped whoever was calling would have given up after the fourth ring.
steve: …hello?
[unknown]: uhm, hi?
steve: …omg …who is this??
[unknown]: ….
steve: ok look, you’re gonna have to start talking because I’m not the one who has been pretending to be someone’s friend FOR WEEKS
[unknown]: OK! chill…. well, saying it out loud does sound a lot worse than in my head…
[unknown]: but i PROMISE i really didn’t do it to be mean or anything…
steve: then WHY did you???
steve: i’ve been telling you SO MUCH personal stuff… i feel kinda taken advantage of.
[unknown]: this sounds silly but…you were just really nice to talk to?
steve: …no way
[unknown]: I SWEAR
[unknown]: apart from the emotional dump, you would just talk about silly stuff to me and it was just so nice that I didn’t want to stop
[unknown]: to be honest I’m honestly surprised you didn’t know I wasn’t really your friend, like hello??? how did you not notice??
steve: well… robin can be random sometimes so yeah I thought it was weird sometimes but I just decided to brushed it off…
[unknown]: no fucking way <laughs>
steve: SHUT IT
steve: you don’t sound like a total creep, which makes me feel slightly better about this
[unknown]: i will take that as a compliment, thank you very much
[unknown]: I feel like we both rolled a nat20 with this little situation
steve: nat20… that’s a dnd reference right??
[unknown]: YOU KNOW WHAT DND IS???
steve: uhm, kind of? some of the kids I babysit are like obsessed with it
[unknown]: you babysit??? how old are these kids?? you never mentioned them to… well robin
steve: i call it babysitting so it doesn’t sound weird but i’m more of a chaperone for them
steve: and they are all like 14-15 years old
steve: they already take up most of my time, sorry if I don’t want to include them in the conversations with my best friend
[unknown]: wooooo slow down cowboy, i get it – they sound like a handful honestly
[unknown]: also would never expect a guy like you to be babysitting a bunch little nerds
steve: why???
[unknown]: well you have this strong jock vibe and you know how the two don’t really mix
steve: you’re correct, i was- i mean i AM a jock
steve: i used to think like that too but I had someone literally knock sense into me
[unknown]: what do you mean by that???
steve: i don’t think you reached the friendship level to unlock that yet
[unknown]: what- wait, did you try to make a dnd joke???
steve: kind of….
[unknown]: honestly points for trying, like 4/10
[unknown]: i am curious tho, what do I need to do to up my friendship levels with you?
steve: you can start by giving me your name… you already know mine so I think it’s fair
[unknown]: anything for you, your majesty… eddie. my name is eddie munson.
steve: nice to finally meet you eddie
————
OK this is going to be longer than I was expecting to be, i might do a part 3… or just like little snippets of the ~future~ thanks for everyone that enjoyed it :D i’m rlly happy my shitty little prompts were to your liking!

PART TWO:
“Star it’s me, may I come in?”
That of course made you laugh (which Eddie heard giving him butterflies and a silly smile. He was happy you didn’t see that.) as it was his van but man did you love how he was so sweet to you. “Yes Edds you may enter.” Once in the van Eddie sits on the pillow next to you. “Hmmm sweet little place you got here.” As you laughed you said “Well it actually belongs to this really sweet guy I know. But he lets me borrow it occasionally.” You could see Eddie's smirk which gave you butterflies. It wasn't fair you thought. How even his smile could drive you crazy. You knew if he said a damn thing you’d be a goner so before he could get a word out you ask. “Hey Edds?’’“Yeah?’’“Do you wanna go to the party with me tomorrow? Steve and Nancy have barely been around so I don’t think they’d wanna come.’’'I'd love to go with you Star.’’“REALLY!? I mean okay cooollll.”“Oh my gosh yes *mimics REALLY!”“You’re an ass.”“I have one thank you for noticing.”“Wait I-”“Star have you been staring at my ass?!”“NO!”“Then why’d you call me one?!”“I hate you.”“No you don’t.”“You like me oh and it seems you like my ass too.”“EDDIE SHUT UP!” (at this point you are bright red). “Look I hear your words but your face says the complete opposite.” You always hated how easily he got to you or how red you always got. No matter how hard you try to hide your reaction from him your face would rat you out. “I’m not going to look at you anymore.” “Awe no Star don’t do that.”“Why not?” Eddie had to think for a moment as what he wanted to say he couldn’t. He wanted to say well then I can’t look at your beautiful face or then I can’t kiss you…But he couldn’t. You were with Steve, happy or not. You are a very loyal person and he knew even if it was something you wanted but it happened while still in a relationship with Steve you’d be crushed to know you just cheated on your partner. So he said this instead. “Because if you turn around then I'll leave.”“Hey wait! Don’t do that!”“See you do like me!” At this point you are so red that you are now burning up. Normally you’d leave the person causing this or ignore them. But you liked spending time with Eddie and never wanted to waste a minute. “I plead the fifth. But umm could you maybe take me home. I don't wanna walk.”“Yeah I can do that, come on.” The drive home was silent but a comfortable silence. The kind where you feel safe and wish it was like that all the time. The silence that feels like a warm hug. Times with Eddie were always good. Even when you’d have fights as you’d make up and go back to whatever y'all were doing. Steve hated silence so anytime it got like this he would do something loud or disruptive. People always thought differently about the two boys but Eddie spent so much time running around being a dork at school by the time he was home he needed time to relax. But Steve was like a switch one minute he was chill the next minute he was go, go, going. Eddie finally arrived at your home and once he pulled in he parked and as usual he ran to open your side of the door for you. (such a gentleman) “M’lady”“Oh why thank you. What would I ever do without my knight in shining armor” You knew you were going to forever regret those words but you didn’t care because they were true. He was that and more to you. But boy will he tease you for saying that. But shockingly he was more flattered and his teasing was a bit more flirty….you got so many butterflies just from his smile alone. Once you’ve finally made it to the front door Eddie finally speaks. “Oh I'm your knight now am I?” Eddie slowly starts walking towards you as you both speak (you are leaning on the front door that has yet to be opened). “I don’t know what you’re talking about. I think you are hearing things.” “Star, my hearing is fine. Don’t be a smartass now.” You knew you weren’t getting out of this so you thought you’d try something. “You gotta pay the Star fee first.”“The Star fee?”“Yup.”“Okay what is it?”“A hug.”“A hug?”“A hug, yes.” You thought he’d decline and maybe change the subject so you figured you’d move on until…..

Time for something pleasant and cozy now that October is in full swing!
Steve and Eddie going on a date to the fair.
Steve trying to win him some silly trinket at one of the booths, and maybe show off a little in the process. Eddie getting distracted by each and every stall, be it with handmade things, homemade sweets or rigged games.
Both entering the corn maze, certain that their internal compass is the best one, and ending up lost. Eddie yelling bloody murder in every voice he can think of, just to see if anyone comes looking or takes off running. Steve trying half-heartedly to stop him, but mostly just laughing at the one-man horror radio play happening live, in front of him. Both taking some time for themselves since they're already lost and no one was answering Eddie's calls for help.
Steve buying them some roasted chestnuts and Eddie coming along with some hot cider, perfect to fight off the evening chill.
Going on the Ferris Wheel because that's what you do on dates, according to Steve. It's a must: it's a bit cold so you need to stay close, maybe put an arm around their shoulders; the lights are on and glowing throughout the fair grounds, the stars are beginning to shine, the view is great, so you lean closer to show them something off in the distance.
'Are you trying to woo me all over again, Steve?'
'Of course! Is it working?'
'If you didn't pay the guy to stop the ride when we're at the top, then no.'
'... 5... 4... 3...'
' You're kidding me!'
'... 2... 2... 2... ... Ha! 1!'
'Unbelievable! We're stuck up here for hell knows how long! What are we going to do? :)'
'Ssshhh! This is the part where our hands accidentally meet in the bag of roasted chestnuts.'
'Oh for the love of-'

Addison shivered in her coat, pulling it tighter around her shoulders. She didn’t particularly long to be sitting outside in the winter chill of the back yard but he didn’t want to miss a second of time with Elvis even if that meant watching him play football with his friends in the bitter wind.
The past week had been quite a challenge. Since they had finally gotten together they had been desperate to spend every waking moment with the other, and for the most part they had been able to. People seemed to accept that whatever crossed word they’d had was now forgotten and Addison slotted back into the entourage without question. However, just hanging out together wasn’t exactly the contact they were yearning for and whilst there were a lot of lingering glances [and wandering hands when no one was around] their contact just one on one was pretty limited. Elvis was a busy guy, so it meant that the only time they got alone, truly alone, was late at night. Which is why every night that week Elvis had made some excuse to his family and friends about needing space. He’d gone from spending every minute of the day out of the house to holed up in his room though unbeknownst to his family he wasn’t alone. Of course they had those that knew but even so they were being overly cautious. It only took them letting their guard down a little bit for it to lead to slipping up.
But it was hard. When they were alone they could do everything they had been longing to do for months yet around people they had to act normal which wasn’t easy. Especially when Elvis was running around in front of her looking windswept and athletic. He was a leader on the field, strong and commanding in a way she’d never seen that was getting her hot under the collar. She’d never felt like this before and though he had yet to take it any further than kissing it was though a switch had been flipped inside her. He looked over as they re-huddled, throwing her a dazzling smile that made that switch turn on like a light bulb. Addison flushed dark crimson and dropped her gaze to her lap making Marci chuckle.
‘What?’ Addison asked suddenly feeling defensive. ‘You two are cute you know that?’ Marci smiled. ‘We’re not doing anything,’ Addison protested, glancing about to make sure they weren’t in earshot of anyone.   ‘Sure you’re not,’ Marci said rolling her eyes. ‘He just looked at me,’ Addison said. ‘Like you’re the only person here,’ Marci giggled. Addison however didn’t. In fact, she felt a little self-conscious at her friend’s words. Were they really that obvious? ‘I guess,’ Addison said noncommittally as she looked back to the field where the boys were now back to playing. She sat there for a moment before she excused herself under the pretence of grabbing snacks and sodas for everyone before she disappeared into the security of the house.
She went inside and grabbed a soda from the fridge, leaning back against the counter as she thought about her friend’s words. She wondered if anyone else had picked up on their behaviour or if Marci was just more attune to their actions because she was already in the know. Addison felt that they’d done a good job at returning to normality without it seeming stiff or over friendly. Perhaps Marci was just reading into things.
She took a sip of Dr Pepper and then placed it on the counter so she could check the fridge. Mary had the day off but the boys were like bottomless pits on a good day never mind when they played football so Addison had taken charge of making sure they were fed and watered. She was just counting up the number of sodas in the fridge, ensuring there was enough for everyone outside without her having to trek down to the basement when she felt a pair of strong arms encircle her. She jumped, spinning around to find Elvis laughing at her panicked expression.
‘You scared the crap outta me!’ she said as he continued to chuckle at her. ‘Sorry,’ he said with mirth as she rested her hands against his chest. He was warm against her cold fingertips and his hair was slicked back with sweat against his forehead. ‘Aren’t you supposed to be playing?’ she asked glancing towards the door as if they were going to be caught at any moment. ‘I’m allowed a break aren’t I?’ he said, ‘besides ain’t no fun in it when you’re not watching.’ ‘Oh so this is all for me?’ she smirked. ‘Well I’m not doing it for my health,’ he quipped as he leaned down to kiss her quickly. She allowed him to but he didn’t miss how abruptly she pulled away her eyes darting to the door.
‘What?’ Elvis said, Addison frowned. ‘Nothing,’ she lied. ‘Addie,’ he said warningly. ‘What if someone sees?’ she asked biting her lip. ‘They won’t. Red won’t let anyone in the house,’ he said though she still didn’t look convinced, ‘that’s not all is it?’ ‘It’s just…Marci got me worried,’ she admitted. ‘About what?’ he asked. ‘That we’re y’know…obvious,’ she said sheepishly. ‘Nah,’ Elvis said stroking her cheek when her worry didn’t shift, ‘the boys would’ve told me if anyone was saying anything and besides I’ve practically been a boy scout these past few days.’ ‘Oh sure,’ Addison snorted. ‘Hey, if you knew how many times I wanted to grab you and kiss you you’d know how restrained I’ve been,’ Elvis said. ‘Maybe that’s the problem,’ Addison said making him look at her confused. ‘You lost me,’ Elvis said.
‘I don’t know…’she sighed, ‘I get we have to be careful, and I don’t wanna tell anyone yet either…’ ‘But?’ Elvis said ‘But I’d like a minute just us. One when we’re not wondering who’s gonna come through the door or if someone might see us…y’know? I mean we can’t even have a proper first date and I know it’s better this way but… I guess I’m torn.’ ‘Between shouting it from the rooftops to keeping it to ourselves?’ Elvis asked. Addison looked at him with a sad smile as she nodded gently. ‘Yeah,’ she said, ‘you get it right?’ ‘I get it, I do and believe me I want nothing more than to show you off…we just gotta wait a little. For when the-’ ‘The times right I know,’ Addison said with a smile. Elvis watched her as the cogs turned in his mind trying to get an idea into place. She could see him mulling it over but before she could ask Elvis said, ‘leave it with me.’ ‘What?’ she asked confused. Before he could respond there was movement outside the door making Elvis drop his hands from her waist, moving across the kitchen as Marty came in. The distance they had put between themselves seemed to be enough of a cover as Marty didn’t even seem to notice they’d been talking.
‘Hey Addie, Marci said you were getting some sodas for us?’ he said coming towards her. ‘Yeah why don’t you help me. I don’t think I can carry everything,’ she said smiling at Elvis sympathetically as their conversation came to an end. Elvis returned it though as he headed to the door he looked at her, throwing her a wink as he mouthed, ‘trust me.’   With that he ducked out of the door leaving her with Marty who had gone to the fridge and started pulling things out. As she loaded a tray with drinks and snacks she couldn’t help but ponder what he was on about.
✵✵✵
‘Stop pacin’ would ya,’ Red grumbled, ‘you’re gonna wear a hole in the carpet.’ ‘I’m nervous, sue me,’ Elvis said snarkily though he did slow down his redirecting his nervous energy into one foot which he used to nudge the edge of the bed skirt beside Red’s legs. ‘It’ll be fine,’ Red said, ‘I mean we’ve thought it through to the Nth degree-’ ‘But-’ ‘And no matter how it ends up she’ll love it whatever,’ he interrupted, standing up from Elvis’ bed before adding in an Addison-esque voice, ‘oh Elvis you shouldn’t have.’ ‘Shut up,’ Elvis smirked, shoving him hard. Red took up a defensive stance to which Elvis immediately responded. They were facing off, palms bared to one another ready to attack. Red dove forward to tackle his friend but Elvis was quicker and took him around his middle, knocking him off balance, though as Red headed towards the floor he swung his leg out taking Elvis’s feet from under him meaning they ended up collapsed in a heap on the carpet.
‘That was a dirty tackle,’ Elvis said as he pulled off his friend’s body. When he looked up though he found Addison in the doorway watching them both amusedly. ‘I’m sorry am I interrupting?’ she giggled as Elvis leapt up, smoothing out his shirt and pants as he came towards her. ‘Nah,’ he said, ‘only interrupting Red stupidly thinking he could get a jump on me.’ ‘So you’re gonna pretend your ass wasn’t just on the ground?’ Red said as he climbed up off the floor too, straightening himself out. ‘Barely and like I said it was a dirty move,’ Elvis said. ‘Sure it was. He loses one time and he resorts to blatant lies,’ Red said looking at Addison and shaking his head in mock annoyance. ‘You wanna go again?’ Elvis said putting his hands back up. ‘Nah, I wouldn’t wanna embarrass you in front of your girl,’ Red said, ‘what do you think Addie? Think I could take him?’   ‘I think if you two don’t stop bickering like an old married couple we’re not gonna get anywhere at all,’ she said with a smile. ‘Avoiding the question,’ Red mused. ‘No, she just knows I could kick your ass,’ Elvis retorted. ‘Hmm sure,’ Red said continuing to tease his friend. Elvis shoved him through the door into the hallway following him as he went. As Red headed downstairs and out of view Elvis stopped and grabbed Addison by the elbow so he could spin her towards him and press a tender kiss on her lips making a tingle run through her entire body.
Since Sunday they hadn’t managed to spend much time together but he had assured her that come the weekend he would make it up to her with a date night. She knew it wasn’t going to be exactly like the date night she envisioned but it was out of the house and with as few people as possible which was better than nothing. Having other people around meant it was less conspicuous than being on their own. Getting spotted by fans whilst out and alone together was one thing but getting spotted by reporters? All hell would break loose.
As they headed downstairs she realised that whilst she knew who was coming with them she didn’t know what they were actually doing so she said, ‘where are we going?’
Elvis looked at her for a moment, contemplating whether or not to tell her before he smirked and said, ‘you’ll see.’ ‘Oh come on,’ she grumbled. ‘Uh, uh,’ he said. They were outside now and Red was waiting in the El Dorado, the engine echoing a gentle chug around the desolate grounds. Elvis walked down towards it and opened the rear door for her which she walked towards but when she got there she stopped looking at him expectantly. ‘Not even a hint?’ she asked. Elvis shook his head making her sigh, ‘fine, but if it’s something dumb Red won’t be the only one tackling you tonight.’ ‘That I can get on board with,’ Elvis smiled. Addison climbed inside and he shut the door behind her, opting to sit in the front seat before Red headed down the vast drive towards the gates which were busier than usual since it was nearly the weekend. School was out and the kids of Memphis found themselves with nothing better to do than to clammer around the gates waiting for a glimpse of Elvis. As they opened people crowded around and Elvis rolled his window down so he could talk to them and Addison shrunk back in her seat. Being in the back meant she was virtually unnoticeable, a fly on the wall, but the flashes of the cameras were enough to make her nervous. She just hoped no one was paying attention to her.
It seemed to take longer than usual today though she wondered if he was taking his time on purpose in the hopes of deterring some of the fans from following them wherever they were headed. Eventually Red told him they needed to get a move on and Elvis offered his apologies to the downtrodden fans who were still left waiting, hoping for a morsel of his attention. As Red and Elvis chatted Addison watched as the throng of people disintegrated into the backdrop of Memphis as she tried to figure out where she was being led. They weren’t going the right way for the Memphian or the roller rink, the latter of which was something she thanked her lucky stars for. She had made an extra effort tonight and she doubted a pair of clunky skates were going to accentuate her look. Downtown came and went meaning they weren’t headed for Beale Street either. Whilst she rattled her brain trying to think of where they were going Elvis glanced back at her and chuckled.
‘You’re gonna give yourself a stoke from thinking that hard,’ Elvis said. ‘Well if someone wouldn’t keep secrets,’ she challenged. ‘No need to,’ Elvis said gesturing to the enormous billboard approaching on her side of the car that read ‘Bellevue Drive-In Movie Theater’. As Red pulled into the vast lot she looked around. It was only half full of cars and to one side of it were a couple of makeshift buildings that seemed to be for refreshments and bathrooms but the rest of it was barren except for a large screen directly ahead of them. They were stopped as they entered so a surly teenager could ask for the admittance fee but he didn’t keep them long and soon enough Red was headed down a long line of cars pulling in beside a familiar white one. Sonny was leaning against it, cigarette in hand though he stubbed it out on the floor as they pulled in. As Red parked up and climbed out to head to him Elvis looked over the bench at her.
‘What do you think?’ he asked. ‘I love it,’ she said with a smile. ‘I know they’re nearby and I’m sure I saw a couple of cars follow us here from the house so we’ve gotta be careful but we’re somewhat alone…’ ‘Elvis I love it,’ she reiterated making him smile. ‘Good,’ he said clambering over the seat until he was sitting on the bench beside her, ‘now we just gotta figure out how to get something to eat without being spotted.’
After some debating Addison and Sonny volunteered to go and get refreshments and as they walked down the valley between the cars Elvis watched them go until they’d disappeared out of sight. He tried to ignore the niggle of jealousy inside him as he watched her laughing and joking with his friend. After all he wasn’t jealous of them because he knew they were nothing but friends but still the situation stung. It wasn’t fair. He wished he could do things as simple as that with her. To not have to worry about who might see and what they might say. Why was it so hard when being with her felt as natural as breathing to him? He longed to show her off. To say screw you to his critics, his fans…the Colonel and yet he couldn’t.
‘You alright man?’ Red said from where he was leaning against the door of the car, having a smoke. ‘I’m good,’ Elvis said. Red nodded and flicked his cigarette onto the floor trying to seem as casual as he could though Elvis could tell he was scouting around and assessing the situation. Since Red had elected to park at the edge of the lot they were mostly out of the way of prying eyes and the Lincoln added an extra layer of security too blocking them from view even more. It also didn’t hurt that there was a winter chill in the air meaning there were fewer people out tonight which would make their plan for later easier.
As Addison and Sonny reappeared Red headed towards the Lincoln as planned followed by Sonny once he and Addison had divided up their spoils. She climbed into the back of the car to find Elvis sitting there waiting for her.
‘I didn’t know what you wanted so I got you a hot dog,’ she said offering him the foil parcel. ‘Thanks,’ he said taking it from her. She sat beside him but didn’t face him and instead looked out towards the screen. As Elvis tucked into his food she sat there, suddenly unsure of how to act. They were alone now but the thought of someone seeing them was still there not to mention she could feel the occasional glances from Sonny and Red which only added to her nerves. She couldn’t believe it. After longing for this she felt out of place, like it was harder somehow. Even when they were just friends they were closer than this now it felt stiff and formal.
After scarfing his hot dog down he looked up and seemed to notice her apprehension though it was obvious from the way she was picking at her own food instead of eating. In an effort to make her feel more at ease he casually threw his arm on the back of the seat, his fingers rubbing gentle circles on her shoulder. That seemed to settle her, even more so as the movie started and the floodlights that were illuminating the lot turned off plunging the theatre into almost pitch black. She could barely see who was who in the Lincoln which reassured her as there was no way anyone would be able to make them out from a few cars away and as the film rolled on she relaxed, her hand migrating to Elvis’ thigh which he noted immediately especially when she turned to rest her body against him, her head on his shoulder.
He couldn’t believe how ‘proper’ it all was given that before now if he’d been caught at a drive-in movie you could bet he would’ve been found doing a lot more than just cosying up to a girl. But this was how it had been for the past couple of weeks. When she was in his arms he wanted nothing more than to be with her in their entirety but he couldn’t bring himself to do so. She wasn’t a fan he had picked up or one of the ladies the boys procured up for him. She was beyond that. His love. His entire heart. His best friend.
She was pure. Perfect. He couldn’t treat her like she was one of the girls he dated before. Yet it was hard especially now as the strawberry scent of her shampoo wafted into his nostrils or when he caught a glimpse of the way the screen light illuminated the curve of her chest in her low-cut dress. Elvis felt that yearn in his belly once more. After that, he couldn’t pay much attention to the movie. He had been thinking of her thumb and how it was rubbing gently against his thigh unknowingly driving him wild and by the time the film wrapped up, he doubted he would’ve been able to tell anyone what the plot of it had been. Still, as the credits rolled and she turned to smile at him he pretended to enjoy it all the same.
‘I’m gonna go use the bathroom, okay?’ she said as they climbed out of the car. As she smoothed out her dress he balled his fists by his side, resisting the urge to touch her. To hold her hand, pull her in close. Anything really. ‘Want me to walk you?’ he asked making her heart flutter, always the gentleman. ‘Nah I’m good,’ she said patting him on the arm, ‘I’ll not be long, okay?’ ‘M’kay,’ he said.
Addison made her way quietly down the aisle between the cars towards the dingy portacabin labelled ‘Ladies’. It wasn’t very busy which meant she didn’t have to linger in the dank stall for long though as she washed her hands and checked her appearance, she couldn’t help but find her mind wandering. Tonight had been nice and once she’d relaxed she’d immensely enjoyed being cuddled up to Elvis though she couldn’t help but think about…more. She had no doubt that there was a time for him when visiting a drive-in movie didn’t mean actually watching a movie. A time when it wouldn’t matter who saw what but with her he seemed shy. No, not shy reserved. Like she was going to break.
But she knew that wasn’t true. She wanted him. In every sense of the word. She longed to know what his touch felt like on her skin not just over her clothes. She yearned to feel his hot kisses on places other than her neck. As a pretty blonde girl came into the bathroom she snapped out of her thoughts, blushing though she had no idea why. She even considered splashing her face with water to try and dim the bright red glow she was sure she was sporting but eventually decided the against it.
When she got back to the cars Red was standing outside the driver’s side door of the car they had come in but as she approached he shook his head and pointed to the Lincoln. Addison’s brows knitted together but she obeyed him and headed to the passenger side of the Lincoln and climbed inside expecting to see Sonny but Elvis was sitting in the driver’s seat. Suddenly the Cadillac they had been in sprang to life and started making its way out of the lot. Elvis waited for a few cars to move out, putting some distance between them before he started up the car and started to move out.
‘What’s going on?’ she asked. ‘Well you wanted to be alone, right?’ Elvis said as if it were obvious. ‘Yeah,’ Addison asked not knowing where he was headed. ‘So they’re leaving us alone,’ he said as they pulled out of the lot, heading in the opposite direction from which they came, ‘and hopefully taking the fans that followed us here with them back to the house.’ ‘So what we find a secluded spot somewhere?’ she asked with a giggle. ‘Honey I’ve got something much better in mind,’ Elvis said. ‘I take it you’re not gonna tell me that either huh?’ she asked. ‘And spoil my fun of watching you pout like a six-year-old?’ Elvis challenged. ‘I do not,’ she protested. ‘Sure you don’t,’ Elvis said rolling his eyes, ‘actually, you’re right. It’s a bit better actually. I remember when you wouldn’t pout and just held your breath until you got what you wanted.’ ‘And who was teasing me then I wonder?’ she challenged. ‘Was it my fault you were so easy to mess with?’ Elvis said placing his hand on his chest as if he was shocked at her accusations of him being in the wrong. ‘At least I can’t tattle on you to my Daddy anymore,’ she said, ‘though carry on and I might just tell your mama.’ ‘Like you’ve ever needed any help holding your own,’ he smirked. Addison smiled thinking of those early days. They were never apart. She followed him around like a puppy and though he like spending time with her he was older than her which often led to relentless teasing.
‘Remember that time fourth of July barbecue we had?’ she said as a memory flashed into mind, ‘when you, Billy and Gene decided to play target practice with my dolls on the fence. I never did get that China one’s face fixed.’ ‘Your daddy didn’t even have to tell me off for that one you tore me a new one good and proper,’ he said. ‘You deserved it,’ she giggled. ‘I remember Joe’s face. He didn’t even seem mad at me just sorry for me,’ Elvis chuckled. Addison smiled too though it didn’t match Elvis’ mirth which made him panic, ‘I’m sorry I didn’t mean to upset you.’ ‘You didn’t. I just…’ she started unsurely, ‘I never get to talk about him y’know? Sometimes it’s like I’m the only one who remember he existed.’ ‘I remember, we all do,’ Elvis said placing a hand on her knee reassuringly for a moment. ‘I know but it’s just different… if you get me? I mean it was just us for such a long time, we were all each other had. Good stuff and bad. And thinking of one tends to lead to thinking of the other so most of the time…I don’t,’ she said honestly, ‘is that bad?’ ‘No it’s not bad,’ Elvis said, ‘c’mere.’
Addison nodded and slid towards him, cosying into him. He wrapped an arm around her tightly. They drove in silence for a moment with Elvis peeking down at her every so often until he mumbled, ‘you know if you ever wanna talk about him you can right?’ ‘I know,’ Addison said gently. ‘Cause I’d hate to think you’re dealing with all this stuff on your own,’ Elvis said. ‘I’m not,’ she said quietly, ‘I’ve got you.’ ‘Lord help you,’ he joked making her giggle, ‘I mean it though…any time you wanna talk or remember I’ll listen. I mean I know I won’t get it, I mean not really, but I’ll try.’ ‘I hope you don’t have to,’ she said earnestly. ‘But if it was me. Dodger, daddy, my mama…I don’t think I’d cope if I didn’t talk about them. I mean you don’t have to if you don’t want to but I don’t want you holding it in because you’re worried no one cares,’ he said she stayed quiet for a beat, contemplating his words before she nodded against him. ‘I guess I need to be a little more open huh?’ she asked. ‘Maybe a tad,’ Elvis said, ‘you’ve got a lot better though. I mean Addie in August would’ve told me to screw off.’ ‘Addie in August wouldn’t have ever dreamed we’d be here,’ she said.
Elvis contemplated her words a little but then he was forced to focus as he turned off the road and into a parking lot behind a tall building. Addison sat up as they entered it, looking around for some kind of sign of where they were.  It was dark and dingy with dumpsters piled up on the sidewalk which wasn’t what Addison was expecting but Elvis didn’t bat an eyelid. He climbed out and made his way round to open her door holding her hand as he led her to the back door of the building which he unlocked with a key that she was surprised to find was on his set of car keys. It was nicer inside than out. The downstairs housed a set of stairs to one side and a corridor full of doors on the other. She followed him as he started to climb the stairs without a word until they were at least two flights up and on their own corridor. As they stopped outside an old wooden door, number 29, Elvis dropped her hand so he could unlock and open it, flicking lights on as he went inside, followed by a confused Addison. It was an apartment, cosy and cute. The living room and kitchen were adjoined and down a small hallway was a couple more rooms. Addison stayed by the door watching Elvis as he turned on lamps and then headed to the back wall of the living room which was covered by a bookshelf. Upon it was a record player and Elvis started going through the stack of records at the side of it until he noticed her silence and turned to find her still lingering by the door.
‘Are you gonna stand there all night?’ he chuckled. ‘Where are we?’ she asked. ‘Why don’t you look for yourself,’ he said jerking his head towards the window that was on the opposite side of the room. She headed over and peeked out. There was a small lawn out front up to a sidewalk on a familiar street and just across the way, peeping out behind the trees, was Graceland. Addison turned around to look at him. ‘This is…’ she said trying to work it out. ‘The apartment I lease,’ Elvis said. ‘The one my mom stayed in?’ she asked. She had only seen it from the outside, her mother opting to keep her busy in an attempt to buy her affection rather than spend any actual quality time with her. Elvis placed a record on the player and dropped the needle allowing a quiet and calm tune to play out into the air as he meandered towards her, wrapping his arms around her.
‘I prefer to think of it as my apartment,’ Elvis chuckled, ‘but sure.’ ‘Why are we here?’ she asked though she was hoping she already knew the answer to that. ‘So we can have a moment alone,’ he smiled. ‘Is that right?’ she giggled. ‘I told you to leave it with me,’ he said leaning down to peck her on the lips. ‘So the different cars. Red and Sonny. All this to get us a moment together?’ she asked making his smile dim a little. ‘Are you mad?’ he asked. ‘No,’ she said, ‘it’s just weird.’ ‘How so?’ he frowned. ‘I mean us. It feels natural like it shouldn’t be any other way, right?’ she asked. Elvis nodded. ‘Like breathing,’ he agreed. ‘And yet all of this just to get a moment alone it just seems…unfair,’ she said. ‘It won’t always be like this,’ he said, ‘someday we can be together. Properly. Without anyone weighing in on or telling us we can’t. This is just for now okay.’
Addison pondered it for a moment and then nodded. Elvis flicked the curtains closed and kissed her leading her to the couch where he pulled her onto his lap. Addison leaned into it, both of them full of want and need as his hands skimmed her sides, his mouth kissing down her jaw and neck. She could feel him against her inner thigh straining against the thin material of his slacks. It made her burn with desire and emblazoned her courage as her hand made its way southward fiddling with his belt. However, as she tried to undo it Elvis pulled back and stopped her.
‘Addie,’ he murmured quietly. ‘What?’ she asked, ‘don’t you want to?’ ‘Of course I do,’ he said stroking her face tenderly, ‘but if I start I won’t be able to stop.’ ‘So don’t stop,’ she said leaning in to kiss him. He allowed her to, but it wasn’t as meaningful as before which caused worry to bubble through her. She pulled back nervously, refusing to look at him. Elvis sighed.
‘Ads,’ he said. When she didn’t look at him he turned her chin so she would. Her hazel eyes met his though reluctantly, ‘Addie it’s not that I don’t want to it’s just…we can’t.’ ‘Why not?’ she asked. ‘Because it’s not…right,’ he said, ‘it’s not proper.’ ‘When have you ever done anything properly,’ she challenged making him sigh again. ‘Maybe but this I wanna do right. You’re too special to me to just-’ he said stumbling over his words as he tried to figure out how to say it. ‘But you have with other girls,’ she said pathetically as she felt her self-consciousness creeping in. ‘They weren’t you. I didn’t love them like I love you. I wanna make sure this is right because I love you. Do you understand that?’ he said watching her concerned expression nervously. Addison bit her lip. He continued, ‘I could steamroller into this like I have before and it could ruin everything. I mean isn’t that why we’re taking our time anyway. Enjoying the time we have together. Hell, I damn near took out a covert mission just to get you alone.’
At his joke, her face softened into a slight smirk which made the worry inside him lessen even though she didn’t seem completely on board just yet.
‘It’s not because I don’t love you, honey,’ he said quietly. ‘Feels like it,’ she grumbled. ‘Well it’s not,’ he said forcefully hoping she’d see he was telling the truth, ‘I want you. More than you know. But I wanna do it right.’ ‘And when’s that going to be?’ she asked. Elvis felt the urge to say ‘when we’re married’ but he stopped himself. That was what he wanted to say. He knew he didn’t want anyone else, that she was it for him. For the rest of his life. But even so, they had only been together two weeks he didn’t need to spook her. ‘I’ll know,’ he said. ‘And until then?’ she asked ‘Being with you is all I need,’ he said. Addison contemplated it for a moment and then nodded swivelling herself until she was cradled in his arms her fingers playing with the buttons on his shirt. There was a moment when neither of them spoke, just mulling over their conversation, listening to each other breathing and the crooning of Perry Como behind them. Eventually, she cleared her throat.
‘Okay,’ she said. ‘Hmm?’ Elvis mumbled as she pulled out from the crook of his neck. ‘Okay. You want to wait I can respect that but I’m telling you now that I don’t,’ she said. Elvis looked as if he wanted to say something but she silenced him with a single look. He could tell the cogs had been whirring in her head and he knew better than to interrupt her when she had something to say. ‘I want you, Elvis. I want us to be together in every sense of the word. You think about proper and fine I get that, but that doesn’t matter to me. I’ve never had proper before. This,’ she said gesturing between the pair of them, ‘this is what feels proper to me. It feels right and I want to enjoy all of it. Okay?’ Elvis nodded, ‘so what are you saying?’ ‘That we can wait. For now,’ she said, ‘but don’t be thinking that a ring on my hand is going to make us anymore us. Just…listen to your heart. I’m sure it’ll tell you when.’ ‘I’m sure you’re right,’ he said as she nuzzled back into him evidently satisfied with the point she had made. He pondered it for a moment. Maybe she had a point. Their romance wasn’t exactly orthodox and it wasn’t as though he didn’t intend to marry her. One day the time would be right and he’d know it.
‘She’s got you wrapped around her little finger,’ his brain whispered to him making him smile. His head was right. One conversation and his beliefs had been moulded to something a little less formal. How she did it he didn’t know she just had an effect on him, a way of flipping everything he knew on its head, and he couldn’t pretend he didn’t love it. He also couldn’t pretend that his views weren’t also being altered by the fact her fingers were teasing gently circles on his chest as she nuzzled into his neck. Elvis cleared his throat.
‘You’re not gonna make this easy for me, are you?’ he said, feeling her smile against him. ‘Not a chance.’

GARETH AND JEFF MASTERPOST
headcanons, backstories and more regarding my interpretation of their characters in the Sabbath series.
feel free to use these interpretations in your own fanfics! lmk if you do!
JEFF SUMMERS
Jeff’s a certified genius. A’s in every class he’s ever taken, ex captain of Hawkins High’s Academic Decathlon team, obsessed with both modern history and geography. Unlike both Gareth and Eddie, Jeff actually paid attention in school and turned out… relatively okay. He’s not even close to popular, those who’ve met him honestly think he’s a bit of an asshole and they’re not wrong. He can be defensive, snarky, and even rude, but both Gareth and Eddie know deep down inside he’s very sweet.
Speaking of the two, Jeff met Gareth and Eddie during his first year of high school. The pair, who were two grades ahead of him at the time, spotted him reading a D&D book and took him in  with open arms. They introduced him to the hellfire club and eventually the group would go on to create Corroded Coffin.
Jeff’s parents are just as smart as he. His mother works for NASA, his father a surgeon. When they found out he’d been spending all of his extra time at band practice they weren’t pleased, pleading with Jeff to focus on his studies. Inevitably they realized Jeff’s grades never dropped and somehow the boy genius managed to balance hellfire, the band and school extremely well. As a reward for his aptitude, his parents granted him permission to turn their garage into the band's studio and from then on supported him fully.
Gareth came out to Jeff as trans after a year after the two had met. Jeff literally didn’t care at all, like was actually annoyed Gareth made such a big deal out of it, commenting “If you’re a girl then the chair i’m sitting on is a tree and Eddie is primordial goo.”
Jeff’s always felt like a bit of a third wheel between Eddie and Gareth, being considerably younger than them and having met years after the two had originally met. They were always so close. It never really got to Jeff as he felt it wouldn’t be fair to be upset when he spent so much time studying, but it was always something he noticed. It’s different now though. Ever since Eddie met Steve.
Surprising to a lot of people Jeff’s had quite the love life having dated multiple girls throughout high school. Despite this he’ll swear up and down he’s never been in love and by all means that’s almost definitely the truth. He just doesn’t get the hype, which is fine. If he does decide to go to college which he’s currently considering, he’ll be sure to experiment or whatever. If he remembers.
GARETH HOROWITZ
Gary’s a people person. Charismatic, charming, funny, overwhelmingly easy to talk to  and all around chill. It’s extremely hard to dislike the guy, no matter what you throw at him he’ll always greet it with a smile. He was the first out of the three friends to express an interest in music, having picked up drumming at an early age thanks to his father, an ex-musician. He’s that stereotypical drummer kid, drumming his fingers on every surface he comes across, constantly thinking about the musical instrument. It’s everything to him.
He met Eddie when they were only children. Eddie was an instant outcast at school and Gareth, being the extreme people person he’s always been, quickly befriended him. They hung out all the time, shared similar interests, eventually Eddie even began staying at Gareth’s house during the school week.
Then, Eddie had to move in with his uncle in Hawkins and Gareth’s parents, being fans of Eddie and their son’s friendship, followed suit. This was around the time Gareth came out as trans which received a lot of backlash from their convervative town, so it was perfect timing.
Gareth knew he was ‘different’ from a very young age and expressed those feelings with his extremely modern parents straight away. They were quick to support him, albeit not fond of the name he's chosen for himself but alas.
His mother is a sex therapist and his dad is unemployed, or as he’d like to call it, ‘an entrepreneur’ growing and selling hippy home remedies out of their house. They aren’t extremely well off, sure, but they’re extremely happy and supportive of their son. It couldn’t be better.
Despite dating as kids Gareth has no romantic feelings for Eddie whatsoever. He sees Eddie as a brother more than anything, someone he loves to his fullest extent albeit platonically. They grew up together, his parents raised the both of them. When Jeff befriended the pair of them that feeling only extended towards him- Gareth truly, wholey, loves his friends.
And, anyway, he’s into girls. Always has been. Another thing his parents are fully aware of, having caught him multiple times snooping through his mothers books to look at nude pictures of women as a kid. He’s girl crazy. Feral. Uncontrollably so. He’s chased after every woman in Hawkins and has been successful a fair amount despite being trans. He’s well read, you know?
The thing about Gareth is that he’s very stupid. No, it’s not because he’d dyslexic (which he is,) it’s because he doesn’t even try. If the subject doesn’t involve music he doesn't pay attention. That’s why he, just like Eddie, has repeated multiple times and only graduated last year. In Eddie’s case it was a choice, but for Gareth... Well...
surnames made up by me, will change them if they're given canon ones*

ᴅᴏ ʏᴏᴜ ʟɪᴋᴇ ꜱᴄᴀʀʏ ᴍᴏᴠɪᴇꜱ?

ᴀɴᴏɴ ᴀꜱᴋᴇᴅ: ily aesthetic omg could I request steve, nancy, eddie, and jonathan with horror movie buff partner? (if that’s too much just eddie and steve is perfect :))
☾⋆*:。 a/n: aww thank you!! I love putting together themes so it's always nice when people compliment them. I only managed to do Eddie and Steve bc my mind is kind of blank lately. haven't watched many horror movies in a while so sorry for the vagueness

ᴇᴅᴅɪᴇ ᴍᴜɴꜱᴏɴ
Eddie is a big fan of horror movies, it’s his go to genre whenever he’s looking for a movie to watch with someone. In the stacks of vcrs around his trailer you’re more than likely to find piles upon piles of horror movies than any other type of movie
He’s absolutely ecstatic when he finds you snooping through all his movies, a wide grin on your face as you excitedly question what was his favorite movie from his collection. He doesn’t have many people to talk to about the movies and Wayne is far from a fan so finding someone as interested as you is amazing
Playful as ever he always offers to be someone you can hold onto if you ever get freaked out, shooting you a smile and a wink that you take like a challenge. You won’t budge during horror movies and Eddie catches on quick, seeing who can outlast the other without being scared
Eddie likes listening to you talk during the movies, tell him little behind the scenes bits of information or how the sequel ties in with the previous movie. Point out all the little sfx bits that make all the blood and gore a little less stomach churning, he lives for how excited you get telling him these things
No matter how much you complain about how shitty they are, Eddie has a love for shitty horror movies with a tinge (or more) of comedy. He loves giggling on the couch over just how awful and not scary is, a good way to chill out after hours spent binging terrifying movies with you
When halloween comes around he’s more than willing to dress up as your favorite slashers with you, a night spent running around the neighborhood scaring the local schools jackasses seems like plenty of fun to him, especially when it’s so easy to hide yourself behind a mask (no wonder how they got away with it)
ꜱᴛᴇᴠᴇ ʜᴀʀʀɪɴɢᴛᴏɴ
Steve is very very far from being a fan of horror movies, he’s had his fair share of horror nights with a date but thank god for the dark lights that hide his mortified grimace. He can play tough guy all he wants but if he can avoid them he will as much as possible
He could feel his palms get all sweaty when you began rummaging through the horror section at his job when he sent you to find a movie to watch that night. He did love how excited you were, going on and on about movies he wouldn’t ever dare to touch
Your familiarity with the movies helps calm his nerves through, when the movie is slotted into the vcr player and he can feel himself grow a bit nervous, the facts spilling from your mouth in a giddy excitement helps put him at ease because how could something that makes you so happy be that scary?
After enough movies, Steve is definitely the person to get into hypotheticals such as would Freddy Krueger or Jason Voorhees win if they got into a fight. He bases his claim off who looks cooler and most of the time destined to lose to you with how much more you know than him
He hates super gorey movies with a passion, having dealt with gross stuff like that enough in his life. Steve trusts you to pick out one’s he doesn’t mind, you always seem to have the perfect one based on whatever he says. It’s almost amazing how much you know and how quick you are to pick something out
Steve is always first to notify you whenever a new horror movie pops up at work, he’ll give it to you half off (and a good amount of the time for free) for you to rush back home and watch. He’ll join you on the second rewatch if it’s good, snacks and drinks in hand for you both to share

Them There Eyes
Chapter 2
Warning: slapping, mentions of arranged marriage
Pairings: Steve Rogers x Black female reader
Word count: 1801
Sorry for the long wait. Writers block really is the cause. I wrote this all in one night because when creativity hits I have to utilize it. I could always use constructive criticism to help me improve. Anyway I hope you enjoy <3
The night was young and the city was still awake, shit, it never slept. The breeze was cool, sending goosebumps across your arms. The rustling of Steve’s suit jacket being shrugged off his shoulders broke the blissful silence between you two.
“Here, to keep you warm.” He whispered as he wrapped his jacket around you.
“Thank you… I’m sorry for keeping you.”
“No, no, I want to be here with you…Is your real name Marie?”
“No, it’s y/n and who told you that?” Light agitation was heard in your voice.
“The bartender.”
“ Joe?! I’m going to kill that asshole! Telling my business like that. You can’t trust everybody.” Steve laughed at your outrage.
“Anything else he told you?”
“Just that you have a man back home.” He noticed that you winced at his answer.
“Had… had a man. He was never my man, just liked to say that he was. See, I used to live in Ohio and there was this guy that liked me but I didn’t like him very much. Our parents insisted we get married. I felt so pressured. They said ‘It would be good for the families to join’. They treated it like a business deal so I left the day before the wedding.”
“Have you ever gone back?”
“No… I do miss my family, and I wrote home telling them that I was doing good. Thriving from singing and what not, but they never… wrote back.”
“You’re fearless.” Steve was convinced.
“No… I’m not, but you damn sure are! Trying to go to the army. If you don’t mind me asking…How come you aren’t in it then?”
“I failed the physical exams,” Steve huffed. You could tell it was a tough thing he had to deal with most of his life.
“I’m sorry. I didn’t mean any harm.”
“No you’re fine. I promise.” Steve reassured.
“What are you gonna do then?”
“Try again tomorrow... Let me take you home, don’t want you to catch a chill.” You laughed, cause little did he know that it was too late.
As the cab pulled up to your place you reached into your clutch to pay but Steve handed the cabby the fair before you got a chance to.
“You didn’t—“ He exited out the door before you could finish. Steve came to your side, opened the door for you and grabbed your hand gently.
“I wanted to.” Those icy blues now half-lidded and heavy. They felt so intense on you, unwavering, wanting. You couldn’t hold the stare anymore. You looked down at the pavement and noticed a crack in between you too. It was faint, not deep enough to cause any issues yet but left unfixed it would become a real problem. Your thoughts were stunted when you felt his hand on your chin lifting it softly, resuming the stare down you ran from.
A honk broke the tension filled gaze and you both looked at the cab driver.
“Move over so I can drive! I’m trying to get home.” You couldn’t help but to laugh.
“We’re so sorry sir, get home safe.“
_______
“I had a great time with you tonight.”
“I did too.”
“Thank you for teaching me to dance.”
“You could always dance, you just need someone to dance with.” You reassured.
“Next Saturday?”
“Next Saturday.”
Good night y/n.”
“Good night Steve.”
_______
“Where are you headed?” Bucky inquired as Steve waved down a cab.
“Onyx, I got to see my lady.”
“Marie? It’s been so long. She probably moved on.”
“God I hope not.”
Steve looked up at the sign, remembering that night fondly. He replayed it over and over while he was away. Thinking of your sweet scent, bright smile, brown eyes, and your voice. Most nights he willed his brain to replicate your singing. Forced it to remember how your hips swayed that night. If he slept hard enough, he would dream of you. It was the same dream, you two swaying gently while he held you, his hands feeling the curve of your waist and the arch of your back. Your gentle sighs as he pulled you ever so close, holding you as tight as he could cause he always knew that when he woke, you wouldn’t be there.
“You coming?” Bucky had the door open waiting for him. Steve walked in with his ID in hand but the bouncer never asked for it. Just gave him a nod for him to continue on inside.
Steve sat by the bar waiting for you to grace the stage as Bucky mingled.
“Drink man?” A young man asked, replacing the older man from before.
“No, I’m good. Thank you.” It was no use really, Steve couldn’t get drunk anymore. The serum prevented it, but Steve never liked to drink anyway.
The fluffer jazz music came to a halt as a man wearing a dark blue zoot suit walked to the middle of the stage. He wrapped the mic around his hand and inhaled deep.
“Ladies and Gentlemen! She needs no introduction. Yet, I’m here. She’s who you are all here to see! From being a Saturday night regular to touring the world! She came back home to bless us once more… MADAME Marie!”
Steve felt sweat beading at his temples and his palms becoming clammy. He was itching to see you. And there you were entering with so much grace. A true regal beauty not aging a day with the same radiant smile. Your once short curls were longer, rolled and pinned in the front with your waves reaching your shoulders. You wore a simple diamond jewelry set and a gold sequined dress that stopped at the ankles. The bodice was cut seductively low, and the sides were cinched at your waist. Your cleavage threatened to spill as you walked to the mic.
The play on modest and temptress had Steve looking away to calm the constant rise in his temperature.
“Drink please!” Steve urged the bartender.
“Pick your poison.”
“Strongest thing you got.” It was brown, whatever he poured. Steve knocked it back and winced at the taste. He prayed that the serum didn’t get in the way of the buzz he was seeking.
“Beautiful people of Harlem! How are y’all doing?… Good! I’m so glad. You know there’s nothing like being home. I think about y’all every time I sing… like old times I’m gonna be singing some Lady Day… Do y'all mind? I know y’all don’t…”
Up in Harlem every Saturday night…
Gimme a Pigfoot and a Bottle of Beer played and you sang and felt your heart swell. You missed being in Harlem with your people. Seeing everyone dance, sing, and mingle just had you smiling from ear to ear. You scanned the crowd the best you could despite the bright lights they installed while you were away. You saw Bucky dancing and your heart lurched. Where there was Bucky, there was Steve. You finished the song but tried your hardest to not get distracted at the thought. He’s away. Nowhere close.
The crowd cheering bounced off the walls. They loved you and you loved them.
“Brief intermission. I got some catching up to do… but I’m not done!” You headed off the stage after excusing yourself and went straight for Bucky.
“Barnes!” He made eye contact with you immediately upon hearing his name.
“Marie, baby you look amazing as always, sound amazing as always. How was touring?”
“Great, really. Little tiring but you know… How was the war?”
“Tiring, but you know.” He smiled his shit-eating grin. You wanted to ask about Steve and he knew but wanted you to break first. You sat in silence while staring him down. If looks could kill Bucky would be six feet under.
“Where is he?” You demanded.
“Go easy on him. He’s fragile.”
“Fragile my ass. Where is he?”
That shit eating grin, again. He held this look but shortly nodded to the bar.
“Thank you!” You stomped away towards the bar. But you didn’t see Steve. Plenty of men in uniform and zoot suits but not the five foot nothing man you knew in a button-up. Maybe he left. Didn’t want to see him no way. You waved over the bartender but on his way to you he stopped in front of a six foot something man in uniform. The blonde cut looked familiar from the back but it couldn’t be. It was generic so you dismissed it.
“Another sir?”
“No, I'm good for now. Thank you.”
That profile was something you couldn’t ignore. The bridge of his nose was the same and so was the slight crease of his brows. He looked down at his empty glasses and you stared at him. Thinking about when you first met him at this same bar.
“Madame, Can I help you? It's on the house.” That shook you out of your thoughts.
“Marie?” Damn that voice and the person it came from. You left the bar as quickly as you could.
“Wait! Marie, wait.” You didn’t look back making a beeline for your dressing room.
“Y/n!” You stopped in your tracks and turned slowly. You felt your body heat from your head to your toes. If you were fair-skinned, you’d be red. He looked beefier, healthier, taller… he was a soldier after all. Yet he stood sheepishly, seeing that you were mad. The icey blues did nothing to cool your anger. You advanced towards him and the height difference felt strange. You weren’t used to looking up at him. Looking at the medals on his uniform only fueled your fire.
“I’m-“ what you assume is an apology was cut short by the loud snap of your palm making contact with his smooth shaven face. The people closest to the scene were confused and grew quiet. Steve was standing all shook up while holding his red cheek.
“You have no right!” You pointed and stared deep into his eyes, before storming on stage.
“Play Bye-Bye!” You shouted at the band. They started to play immediately. You were heated and needed him to know it. You gripped the mic and bore your eyes into his head.
Don’t look surprised
You know you’ve buttered your bread so it’s fair that you should stare at the back of my head.
Steve saw how your eyes were set ablaze. The crease between your brows was deep. You had a scowl that could kill.
Bucky made his way to Steve after watching the scene from afar.
“She’ll come around…” Bucky tapped his shoulder in assurance.
So baby, it’s au revoir
Adios, ciao, ciao, goodbye
You belted, with everything in you. Feeling your chest heaved as you hit the last note. You dropped the mic and walked off into your dressing room.
“Eventually.” Bucky whispered.

Chris Pontius- I Could Never Hate You
I hope you like this, love! It’s kind of just a short blurb and I don’t think it’s my best work aaaa
Warnings: none
Tumblr media
“Y/N, you’re being ridiculous. Chris doesn’t hate ANYBODY, well, except for Ehren”, Steve shushed to his aggravated friend. “ME, Steve. He hates ME.” Y/N just didn’t understand what Chris had against her. Chris Pontius was such a joyful soul. What about her brought this agressive and bitchy side out of him? She could handle not being liked. It’s not new to her, and she could not give a shit about anyones opinions, but something about CHRIS not liking her just sent a frustration through her veins that she could not describe. It didn’t make sense, and it wasn’t fair.
“Why don’t you just TALK to him?”
“TALK TO HIM?? Steve O are you CRAZY?”
“Y/N you’re acting like an asshole. It’s not crazy to wanna have an adult conversation and be civil to your costar. Grow up!”
“Steve I’m not doing it. Just forget it.”
“Whatever”
She huffed and threw her head back grumpily. Steve O was right, but she couldn’t admit it.
“I’m gonna go outside for a smoke”, she groaned, just needing a moment away from the confrontation.
She walked outside and pulled a pack of cigs out of her pocket. She sat down criss crossed against the side of the building. She lit one up and took a long drag. So many thoughts clouded her mind. Thoughts of how Chris behaves, their work relationship, what Steve had said… Chris’s beautiful smile. That made it all the more frustrating. Y/N had thought Chris was the most handsome little thing since the moment she met him, but he wanted nothing to do with her. Not to mention the guy’s hilarious. There were so many things about him that she just CRAVED. She wanted to let go of these feelings so badly, knowing that nothing could ever come of them, but it just wasn’t happening. This asshole still lived in her mind every waking second of her day. She sees his light, long hair flowing when there’s a slight breeze in the air, his muscles when he takes his shirt off for a bit, his hazel eyes when the sun is out, and his contagious giggle almost every time she closed her eyes. It was excruciating.
“Y/N”, Steve-O called. “Jeff needs you on set for a bit in 5”. She nodded and took a few more puffs from her cigarette before putting it out. She was still frustrated by Steve-O, but that was her best friend regardless. “Ok”
She stood up and wiped dirt off her pants. She strolled toward the room they were shooting in, and to her shock, it was empty. “I thought this asshole said to come here??”, she whispered to herself. She sat down for a moment until a handsome, long haired man walked through the door. The normally smiley boy just sort of grimaced when he noticed he was alone with her.
There was a jarringly loud sound. The doors were now locked. “Hey Y/N. TALK TO HIM”, she could hear Johnny Knoxville saying from some sort of PA system. “you DICKS!!!”, she groaned. “We aren’t letting you two out of there until you COMMUNICATE. Have fun!”
The first few moments consisted of awkward shared stares. “Well on with it. What’s your problem with me?”, Pontius asked. “MY problem?? What’s YOUR fucking problem, Pontius?”, she raised her voice. “My problem is that you act like THIS! I’ve never done anything to you! I don’t understand your passive aggressiveness”. Y/N almost audibly rolled her eyes. “I act like this because you HATE ME, Pontius. You-“ “HATE you?”, he cut her off. His demeanor softened. “I could never hate you.”
Y/N was unfathomably confused. “Well you sure act like it!”
Pontius sighed and wiped his forehead. “I can’t tell you the truth.”
Y/N grew more frustrated. “WHY THE FUCK CANT YOU!?”
“Sweetie. Calm down.”
The word sent a cold chill down her spine. His unusual sweetness oddly soothed her.
“I want to tell you I just, I’m just scared you just- I don’t know.”
“Pontius please just tell me. Whatever it is. I can take it.”
“I don’t hate you. I never hated you.”
“Then why do you act this way around me”
“God I just. I’m just gonna say it and get it over with. I really adore you, Y/N. I know I act like an ass but I don’t mean to. I’m just frustrated because I know you’ll never feel the same, so I come off like this. I hate that I make you feel so frustrated, I know it’s not right. I just can’t help knowing the girl I’ve been so fond of since the moment I layed eyes on her will never be mine”
Y/N’s mouth parted in shock. She was trying to find the words to say. Mumbles and uneven breaths were all that could escape from her mouth. “I know I made things awkward Y/N but please know I don’t hate you. I couldn’t. You’re so precious and cool and hot and, fuck I’m being weird.”
“Pontius, do you know why this shit really makes me so upset???”
He frowned, fully believing he had made her uncomfortable with his confession. “I’m so sorry Y/N I-“ “you’re so beautiful, Chris. I want you to like me so badly because you’re so fucking cute and sweet and funny and I just thought that I was never gonna be enough for you. It makes me upset when you’re laughing and having a good time with everyone and I feel so excluded. I wanna make you laugh like that. I’ve always wanted you so badly.”
“You’re mocking me aren’t you”, he responded. “No I’m fucking not!!! I adore you and admire you so much, I’ve had this dumb thing for you for so long and-“ Pontius grabbed the sides of her face and placed a passionate kiss on her lips. He tasted like cigarettes and minty gum. She calmed and eased into his kiss. He snaked his arms around her and pulled her close. He kept her embraced as he pulled his face away. He pushed her hair behind her ear and looked at her. “I’m sorry we couldn’t have talked this through sooner. I’ve always wanted to do that”, he smiled. Y/N fell closer into his arms and hugged him tight. “I was immature too. Please Pontius just let this be behind us. I want more of this. I wanna experience sweet Pontius that everyone else does.” “I wanna give you more than that, sweetheart”
“Y/N AND PONTIUS SITTING IN A TREE! K-I-S-S-I-N-G!!” The voice on the PA system screamed. “YOU MIC’ED US???”, Y/N screamed back. They could hear the sounds of the guys laughing in the other room now. “You’re such DICKS!!!!”

All the Jackass and CKY guys and whether or not I think I’d get along with them because I’m bored:
Johnny Knoxville:
I think we’d get along really well but probably not be super close. Like, his personality is way too outgoing and charming for us to not click, and I’d enjoy being around him, but I don’t think we’d be close enough to hang out alone together or to confide in each other about deep stuff. The thing we’d bond over most is music. Basically we’d be friends and make each other laugh and probably occasionally geek out over the Ramones together but he wouldn’t be considered one of my best friends by any sense of the word. If anything I’d probably be scared of getting a crush on him and I’d try to keep my distance lmfao. I’d follow him and like most of his Instagram posts and occasionally leave a vague but funny comment which he would only occasionally reply to.
Steve-O:
Maybe. He’s always seemed very nice and fun to be around but I think hanging out around early 2000s Steve-O would have tired me out too much and hanging out around current Steve-O would annoy me a little bit cuz he can come off as kind of condescending in some of his podcast episodes. People who know him seem to really like him though so maybe he’s really cool. Idk we’d have the type of relationship where we get along just fine when we’re around each other and occasionally crack jokes together or talk about Motley Crue, but we wouldn’t go out of our way to see each other or interact with each other. I’d follow him on Instagram but wouldn’t leave likes on his posts all that often.
Chris Pontius:
Personally I think Chris and I would be besties but maybe that’s just wishful thinking. We’d be the type of close friends where we don’t really talk about our feelings with each other or get super personal but we’re always SO happy to see each other and are super affectionate and always make each other laugh. There would be tons of photos of the two of us hugging cuz that’s what we’d do every time we saw each other. I can see us hanging out one-on-one to do something laid back like go bowling or go to an arcade, and we’d at least be close enough to spark dating rumors. We would follow each other on Instagram and would like each other’s posts all the time and always leave stupid or sweet comments.
Preston Lacy:
Preston is ICONIC but for some reason I don’t know if we’d be all that close. He seems very sweet and I think we’d get along just fine and have a professional relationship but I can’t see us being close friends or making plans together or even really having all that much to talk about. We’d follow each other on Instagram but would rarely like each other’s posts.
Wee Man:
Me and Wee Man would 100% get along so well. He’s so chill and fun to be around and I can see us hanging out together and just having a good type and hyping each other up during stunts. I feel like we’d have a secret handshake too. We’d follow each other on Instagram and like all of each other’s stuff and he’d comment the 🤙 emoji on most of my posts for seemingly no reason.
Dave England:
I adore Dave and he seems like such a sweetheart so I do think we’d get along great. I’d definitely try to make plans with him from time to time and he does a lot of fun videos with some of the guys on his YouTube channel so maybe him and I would do one of those together. We’d probably confide in each other from time to time and I’d go to him to talk a lot more than I’d go to most of the other guys. Honestly I’d probably try to hook up with him but to be fair he’s very pretty so can you blame me? Anyway we’d follow each other on Instagram and like each other’s stuff all the time. I feel like he wouldn’t comment on most of my stuff but I’d comment on all of his stuff like an annoying stalker.
Danger Ehren:
#1 BFF RIGHT HERE!! Me and Ehren would be close as FUCK and I’d definitely be the type to defend him when the other guys get a little too mean with him. I’d probably hang out with him a lot outside of filming Jackass and I can really see us being super close and me going to him to talk about my problems. He’s cute as a button man how could I resist him?? We’d follow each other on EVERYTHING and blow up each other’s posts with stupid comments.
Ryan Dunn:
Yes! I think I’d be close with Bam’s little group in general and Ryan was so chill and friendly and everyone who knew him always has nice things to say so I think him and I would get along great and he’d be a really good friend. I’d be hanging out with the group a lot so by default I’d be hanging out with him.
Bam Margera:
Oh boy…this one’s a doozy. Listen, I’m not even gonna try to sugarcoat this one: Bam and I would be SO toxic to each other. I’ve seen how Bam interacts with people who don’t bend to his ego and he can be very dickish and immature. If he tried pulling any of his crap on me, I’d definitely push back or retaliate, and then it would just keep going from there. Bam also has always had a thing against plus sized women, so as a plus sized woman I imagine he’d have something to say. We’d constantly be arguing and insulting each other and pushing each others buttons and half the time I’d wonder why I even hang out in his group when he’s such a dick but I’d just like hanging out with the other guys too much to stop coming around. He’d pull mean pranks on me, I’d call him a shrimp dicked little brat, he’d call me fat, we’d start throwing shit at each other, it would be a whole big thing. The tension would be kinda sexy though, can’t lie. Also I feel like the fact that I don’t act like a yes man and bow down and kiss his feet over everything would actually kind of be reassuring to him cuz he could come to me for opinions and know I’m not kissing his ass. We’d follow each other on Instagram but I think I would have stopped liking his posts in 2019 when shit got really weird for a while.
Dico:
I flip flop on this one. The side of me that’s realistic knows that him and I would probably get along just fine. We have very similar senses of humor and personality types, so unless I ended up being one of the people Dico hated for no reason, I think I’d get along with him well and we’d have plenty of laughs and maybe even do bits together in public or act alongside each other in haggard and minghags. The side of me that craves enemies to lovers however wants to believe that he’d randomly hate me for no reason and we’d have a secret relationship fueled by hatred and disdain. As soon as he puts that stupid Rut Ru wig on I’d start having a little crush on him. If him and I got along I like to think he’d keep in touch with me after leaving the spotlight.
Raab Himself:
Probably. He seems super lighthearted and funny and sweet so I think we’d get along really well and always be laughing about something. Even when he was, as he described himself, “annoying” as a younger teen I think I would have gotten along with him just fine. His shit fascination would have grossed me out a bit though. Idk how we’d interact on social media but I think I’d be invited on for an episode of the bathroom break podcast.
Rake Yohn:
I pray to god that him and I would be SUPER close if I knew him cuz Rake is so fucking cool and smart that it kills me. I’d wanna hear him rant about smart guy shit and I’d love to crack jokes with him and go on little adventures with him. He’s also really cute and I’d probably try to date him more than any other guy on this list. I’d follow him and like all of his stuff while leaving vaguely flirty comments (if he wasn’t married).
Brandon Novak:
Back in the day? Probably not. I know for a FACT he would have gotten on my nerves and would have tried to steal my wallet while I slept. Current Novak though? I think so. He seems really friendly and chill now. He’s super active on Instagram so we’d follow each other and poke fun about how out of control he used to be.
Joe Frantz:
😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏 (that means I would try to jump his bones at every available opportunity and would like every single one of his Instagram posts without fail). Nah but fr tho I think we’d get along great, he likes the same bands as me and has a cool comic book collection so I’d wanna be his friend so bad.

If we don't count heat (because, lets face it, during that time all three Alphas are doms), I think Steve is the most dominant one. It comes from his life and line of work - the more control he has, the more he is confident that will get the job done. Including satisfying his omegas.
Ari and Ransom for me are 50/50. Ari is chill guy who is very sensitive about his omega needs. They need him to be in control - done! They want to play and take the lead - he is not against it. I think his dominant nature appears in their everyday live - he is leader of the pack (since Steve is bound to his missions as a superhero and Ransom has his own issues with his family pack, so he takes that role easily).
Ransom is all about enjoying the sex. I think he likes to be the top because it is easier for him to control every aspect of the love act (pace, intimacy, pose), therefore ensure pleasure for him and for omega as well (and he is narcissist, so he is probably thinks 'he knows better'). But if his omegas are in the mood to dominate him, he is hard in 10 seconds and lets them do whatever they want - will probably verbally establish his dominance over them (in a cocky way), but then - please, sit down on my face.
Reader (even if I and others could share different opinions about this subject) I think is least dom. She has her moments, but I feel like she enjoys that she has 4 men who knows what to, can tell her what to do, so she can be satisfied every single day for the rest of her live.
Jake I think would rarely be dom with Reader. Idk, but their relationship is so special and is a source of such strong intimacy, that he just doesn't feel the urge to be dominant. But with Alphas though... My headcanon is that Ransom will let Jake be on top and I don't mean cowboy pose 😏. But usually he lets the alphas take control.
I don’t know where to begin with how much I love every aspect of this, in every possible way
Steve is used to control, he needs that in his daily life. Steve loves and craves control, yet he’s still soft and sweet, incredibly loving—but 💯 a dom, and won’t stop until he has at least 3 orgasms from his omegas
Ari is chill, he’s a comfortable alpha for his omegas and he easily makes them feel safe—allowing them to open up to each other in an intimate way emotionally and physically. He is essentially the leader of the pack because Steve is gone a fair bit of time because of his role as Captain America, and Ransom is dealing with his sexuality and the role it plays in his family (because they’re assholes)
Ransom is cocky, he will be cocky until the day he dies. There’s so much in his life that’s chaotic and with his family being the kind of trash they are, he needs to be able to take what he wants from his omegas while giving them mind (and back) blowing orgasms over and over again. When his omegas do have the chance to dominate them, Ransom is almost condescending in a way “but tough omegas taking control, do you even know what you’re doing?” but also that’s a turn on and it makes the whole chance to be a dom that much better for Jake and reader
Reader can have her moments (you’re absolutely right) but there’s security in having four boys hanging around who can send her absolutely wild with little provocation. Whether its stern and dom Steve, charming and comfortable dom Ari, cocky and full of himself dom Ransom or the ever tender loving Jake, her lifelong love, she’s got all her bases covered
Jake and Reader’s bond and sex life is always rooted in deep intimacy. They’re each others best friends and they always will be absolutely engrained together, woven so tight that it’d be impossible to tear them apart. Jake being a dom though…when he’s a dom, the alphas think he’s adorably controlling and sexy as he tries to fuck them as roughly as they sometimes fuck him

Hey! I was wondering if I could get a ship for a stranger things guy?
okay so some stuff abt me: I'm afab (and use she/her), I'm an enfp 4w3 and my sign is gemini. I'm also 18. I'm an ambivert and like to hang out around people and I'm just a generally social person. But I also very much like to chill at home and cuddle with a good movie and a cat. I'm very talkative, loud and energetic. I laugh at almost anything, but I also know when to be serious when the situation needs it. I have a little bit of a short temper and attention span, and I sometimes tend to get a bit passive agressive. I'm very creative and I like to think outside the box. I also seek a lot of validation. My recieving love language is words of affirmation and my giving is physical touch.
My hobbies include playing bass, driving around, watching movies (I'm absolutely obsessed with Wes Anderson movies, and I love thrillers), going to festivals, travelling and learning languages, hanging out with friends and listening to music. I really like so much different stuff especially indie and alternative rock, art pop, hip hop, electronic, country and anything weird and obscure. I both enjoy stuff you can dance to and stuff you can cry to. My playlist is quite a rollercoaster to be on.
Okay so I'm 5'6, I have brown hair that reaches a bit below my shoulder. It's wavy and has bangs. I have a hooked nose and downtured brown eyes, and fair skin with a few freckles. And I wear very colorful clothing and jewelry.
thank you so much❤️ take care!
Thanks for requesting love!
Stranger Things: Steve Harrington!! He’s also a gemini which from what I've seen can be a great fit with another gemini. Steve does really well with energetic people (i.e dustin and robin) I think he’d feed off your energy yk. He’s kinda an extrovert? Right, kinda? So your ambivert-ness would fit well with him. We all know he loves being a people person but he does need some relaxing down time away from everyone. I think your music tastes would mesh well! He’s definitely a pop guy but I think he has a secret obsession with country. Why? I have no idea I just feel it. His receiving love language is also words of affirmation so I think he’d do a good job at giving that back to you.
