i feel like i should have changed the color scheme to a more gray/ blue instead of sticking to the original one, it would've given a more modern office look.

Lifted || 04/27/2025
#today was not and continues to not be perfect—HOWEVER— I am so very grateful for this afternoon#we went to mass and it was the first time I'd gone to church where i actually felt light afterwards#like i felt actually blessed after the service idk how else to explain it#all i know is i stepped out of there feeling like the heavy weight on my shoulders got lifted away#and as per tradition: after mass me my sister and her bf walked for about 15mins to grandma's grave to visit her#she delivered with this RIDICULOUSLY GORGEOUS sunset 😍😍😍#i had said out loud—just wishful thinking cuz i know it's not gonna happen—i said “i miss being able to be away from the house and watch#the sun set from start to finish. it had been a long while since i last got to do that.“#but i think grandma heard because as it turned out no Grab driver was accepting our booking so we couldn't go home#not until it was fully dark and the stars had come out. i just thought that was so sweet 💛#oh! and i wore a dress today and it has POCKETS!!! just came across this picture of a casa cueva in 1964 😔😔 i kinda hate that nowadays most of them are now airbnbs and very few people actually live in them
for reference, here is the percentage of people that lived in casas cueva (cave houses) in 1963 per province in spain
guadix, in granada is known for its casas cueva, and has more than 2000 of them! but as you can see, they could be found pretty much everywhere in the eastern half of the peninsula, the picture on top is from guadalajara for example. anyways, here's how guadix and its casas cueva looks like <3
#casas cueva you are so loved#i visited some when i was a kid cause in the area where i go every summer there's tons of them#pretty close to the town i stay there's one called cuevas del almanzora which translates to 'caves of almanzora' and shockingly#there's casas cueva there lol#also technically i guess the house where i stay every time is a casa cueva#it's built onto the cliffside and the entrance to the house is just like the ones in the pictures from guadix like it's built out of the#rock. and all the houses in that community have a room we call 'the cave' because it's well. a literal cave lol. it's my grandma's room :)

Sure, my sleeping a bit more on a timely manner isn't from her (more like isn't only her helping me_, but everything else I've been doing has made me think 'But if I leave this for a later time... I'll disappoint grandma.'
100%, I've went and done dishes because someone reminded me while I was reading... and after finishing that reading experience... I went 'I don't really want to do dishes. But if I don't do dishes, I'd disappoint Gran. I don't want to do that... so I'll do dishes.'
SERIOUSLY, GRAN HAS HELPED ME MORE THAN I THOUGHT SHE WOULD! I AM SO THANKFUL THAT I ENDED UP READING THAT BOOK OF YOURS! Whoever said Fiction doesn't effect real life was wrong. They haven't met Gran yet, obviously.
For those that don't realize... I have a lot of trouble trying to motivate myself to take care of myself and my environment... SPEAKING OF- now that I mention that, I should go do that thing. Otherwise, Gran's not gonna be happy.

#was going to post a mild vent but that energy is not necessary for a main post#thats for the tags#i hate when fire emblem fans act like enjoying fire emblem for any other aspect than the story is weird#motherfucker GO READ A BOOK 😭#im complaining about that same guy by the way.#who also was being rude behind my back because i said fates was my favorite game and not houses#like bro. god forbid someone like THE GAME part and prioritize the GAME part of the VIDEO GAME#its so dumb. i know hes just parroting reddit opinions and i need to not be bothered#but its like idk. if you just want fire emblem to be a glorified visual novel then fine#like what you like. but im not sure why we’re acting out in real life over that#also like. people act like fates writing kill they fucking grandmas like bro 😭#no its not the next literary masterpiece of a generation but quite frankly no fire emblem is and its not that bad#maybe if we paid attention to THE GAME PART it’d bother u less. but why would anyone like the GAME. silly stupid girl.#whatever. im having so much fun with randomized fates#i know conquest early-mid game like the back of my hand at this point#so pretty much from chapter 6 to chapter 15 i’d say i know pretty well#so its nice having to like. relearn a lot of my favorite maps with a new set of characters#‘new’ in the sense that they all have different stats and skills#and things that i relied on before like nostank odin are just. not there#super fun. even if 10 is kicking my ass around. i enjoy it#anyways. i just got annoyed again bc of the whole. that guy.#i hope intsys makes fates 2 and gets rid of casual mode fuck yall#(i actually think casual mode being introduced was integral to saving the series and should never be removed bc it makes it less#intimidating for newcomers but not everyone understands that either#there is a thin line between casual and elitist players and my god is everyone annoying))#prob delete later#if not nuke all my tags. main post still stands i fucking love these games
