Will always and forever be extremely fond of the “Rebel Trio takes Hunter in and become his guardians after Hollow Mind because they feel responsible for his whole world exploding in one night, even if they didn’t intend for it happen this way” trope. Raine, Darius, and Eber struggling to co-parent Hunter together while also still trying to stop the DOU, yes please.

Crack scene that will probably never happen.

The a car fight scene but with carriages against the EC. Darius is driving while Raine, Eber, and Lilith as well as King and Hooty are on top of the roof.

Darius: CAN YOU BLAST THEM ALREADY?

Raine: WHAT PART OF COVEN SEAL LIMITS MAGIC ARE YOU FORGETTING?

Lilith: I CANNOT BELIVE THIS IS HOW I DIE.

Darius: WHY ARE YOU EVEN UP HERE?

Hooty: *coming out of the backpack to hit a coven scout off their carriage*

Darius: Oh...right...him. *accidentally hits a statue*

Eber: THAT’S THE SEVENTH ONE YOU HIT.

Darius: FORGIVE ME FOR BEING MORE FAMILIAR WITH THE AIRSHIPS.

Raine: OKAY, NEW PLAN. WITH EDA ABOVE, EBER AND I WILL HOP ALONG THE OTHER CARRIAGE TO THE RIGHT WHILE MY KIDS TAKE THE LEFT.

Darius: AND SO WHAT, I'M STUCK ON DRIVING DUTY? NO, ABSOLUTELY NOT. TITAN, TAKE THE WHEEL!!!!

King: W H E H?!?!

Lilith: Well...you heard him. King, take the wheel.

King: *proceedings to continuously swerve side to side hitting the EC carriages and other objects while screaming*

Hooty: WE'RE ALL GOING TO DIEEEEE!

Lilith: THE RIGHT! THE RIGHT! GO RIGHT!

King: *hits something*

Lilith: YOUR OTHER RIGHT!

Raine seeing this unfold from a few carriages over: DARIUS, WHY DID YOU LET KING DRIVE?

Darius: I DID NOT! ALL I SAID WAS FOR THE TITAN TO TAKE THE WHEEL!

Eda from above them: POOR CHOICE OF WORDS!!!!!

Okay but realizing Darius was being extra extra because when Luz bursts out of the carriage he’s not on the carriage and is off to the side when he grabs her. But when he puts her down him and Eber are now on the carriage

Coven heads and Hunter (contains a few spoilers!!!)

So we know Hunter is a Grimwalker due to Hollow Mind. But do the Coven Heads know? We know that the previous Golden Guards have been killed once they learn the truth about Belos and that he has made a ton of them. So would the Coven Heads know?!

In the later episodes of season 2, we learn that Eber, Darius, and Raine are trying to stop Belos’s plan. In Hollow Mind they (only seen as cloaked figures) also go to the Owl House to help Eda get Luz and Hunter out of Belos’s mind. And in Any Sport in a Storm, Darius is seen to be a bit affectionate towards Hunter at the end of the episode.

So I ask again DO THE COVEN HEADS (or at least a few of them) KNOW THAT HUNTER IS A GRIMWALKER??!!

TOH AU where everyone is the exact opposite of what they are canonically.

Obligatory Spoiler Warning

Eda is a frickin coward and has super weak magic, but is incredibly open about her problems. The owl beast is a blessing rather than a curse because even if she can’t use magic, at least her beast & harpy forms are physically strong.

Luz is an a-hole who’s super chill 24/7 and doesn’t care for learning magic. When she got trapped on the Boiling Isles, Eda saw Luz’s hatred for learning and took it as a personal challenge to teach her magic.

King is initially super kind and loving but gets slowly more corrupted as he discovers the truth that he’s a titan.

Lilith starts off a super sweet protagonist who only wants the best for her baby sister and ends being a villain out for Eda’s blood.

Raine loves performing onstage and getting attention, but they are astronomically bad at music and magic. One of the main villains, and a super salty ex who hates Eda for hurting them so bad.

Belos is actually a kind and just ruler who wants to make the portal so there can be peace between the worlds. It’s just really hard because everybody on the Isles hates him even though he’s the Emperor.

Darius and the rest of the CATS are people that Raine hired individually to assassinate Belos, but when it failed, everyone combined their resources to try and work together. There is no peace or getting along, everyone’s under contract to not kill each other.

I lowkey love the idea of Raeda but Eda is way too clingy and Raine loves her but they’re just always annoyed about everything and Eda please let me go you’ve been hugging me for the last five minutes and I need to breathe.

What was that about "just the small ones" dying and it not being a big deal in the grand scheme, Darius?

But legit we know next to nothing about Eber and even less about how these two became so close, yet even in the face of the world ending, not only do they look to each other triumphantly when things are going well

But Darius immediately stopped fighting if it meant Eber would die, even if they were all going to die anyway watching them die now was not an option

Even worse, the second Eber was released from the Oracle Coven Head's power, they got up and were absolutely going to rush to Darius before succumbing to the draining spell

Even having no explanation for their dynamic it's painfully clear how significant they are to each other, and goddamn if I'm not invested in Darius & Eber besties for life
