Finally finished this thing from June of last year (I am slow as hell). In order of Red around to Pink: Armstrong w/primal form Zero_One w/primal form Geist Rust Doc Doc's primal form Tesla w/primal form Prometheus w/Zelimir (future host)

Think this turned out decent; Zelimir looks a bit odd but I can't keep fidgeting with him-otherwise this would never get posted lmao. Rust was re-drawn THREE times--fully rendered and finished--so that could be why this took so long. Also, I must confess, Tesla's is ripped straight from a photo that someone posted on Tumblr--I think? I can't find the original post to save my life. It is of Tesla at the first concert TLT did with the Tombsona gear. Reason for my little cheat is that I was like over half way done with my original Tesla drawing (which was already a re-sketch from my first WIP) and I found out that I hated it. It made Tesla look too insane--it was a pose of him holding human hearts because he's a mad scientist type character (plus it would've been too gorey to fit everything else). Hi, I just have a silly question on if any of the tlt cast characters are neurodivergent? (I mainly ask cause projection + a lot of the fandom is neurodivergent lol/pos)

I mean Yoav and I certainly both are neurodivergent lol. Like do you mean the characters in canon? My POV around the tombsonas specifically is that they’re intentionally semi-blank slates that we as a community kinda imprint on. For example if you’re AuDHD and you feel a kinship with Tesla, then Tesla can be AuDHD! The fact that the tombsonas pair with an indefinite amount of people across all of time and space means that EVERYONE is in the mix. I don’t want anyone to feel excluded or unrepresented because canon has not specifically shouted them out. Or feel like “well I have dyspraxia and so does Armstrong, so that forces me to look at them as representing me, when otherwise I’d more relate to Doc.”

There’s a (maybe apocryphal) story attributed to Stan Lee where he emphasized the importance Spider-Man being fully covered head to toe, because it means almost anyone can feel like they could be inside the suit - I feel much the same way about the Tombsonas. They’re not people - YOU are the people, so whatever is in you is in them.

Outside the tombsonas, I definitely think (emphasis on think, as these are my headcanon not literal canon) Snoozie is ADHD or AuDHD, Haru has BPD, and Drunk Guy atop his canonical addiction also has PTSD.

The Progenitor

It’s said to have first seen the very multiverse take shape. Others believe it was around before the multiverse even existed. Also some legends claim it’s a tri-fusion between a tombsona, a host and what manuscripts referred to as the ‘Ultimatum*’. A hand full of tombsonas remembers it but knows it’s somewhere in the center of the exoverse. Keeping guard of the Quantum Nova ; the Prime Universe Cluster said to have layers within it.

This slab mural seems to depict both the Progenitor and the Quantum Nova. As for the glyphs, it’s something even the Overseers (the Progenitor’s direct decedents) aren’t able to decipher. It does go by a name ; epps.

Who loses/changes hosts the most? My money’s on Rust, given its tendency for dangerous activities, as well as in bonding with people who tend to risk their lives for a greater purpose. Symbolically, it lines up with the idea of no revolution being any one person, but a group working as one (we are legion, another will always rise, etc). 

But also, Rust this is why you’re often the baby of the group.

This is right on the money! Rust is a title that can be put on and taken off. Revolutions have people who become symbols but those people don’t usually live long. Rust has the most ephemeral bonds of the group. Rust is also the only one in-canon whose life is not artificially made longer, though we could argue they’re still more durable than the average person, bolstered by the power of collective belief. But zero_one rewrites host DNA into code, Tesla uses electric currents to keep its body alive, Armstrong pilots a corpse, and Doc may not have continuity of body, but by transferring its essence from person to person instead of re-bonding with new hosts, keeps a continuity of its host’s mind.
