This is November 19th's post for the #TomeTopple #TomeToppleChallenge - #PreviouslyToppledTomes - and #jayjaysbookishbirthday - #AllPlannedOut - AND #bookscoasttocoastnov - #SquadGoals! 😄😍❤ . . . . For today's daily #TomeTopple7 challenge, my Previously Toppled Tomes that I both own and still have from the library are on the right. They're stacked in order from most recently read to first read, top to bottom. 😄😍❤ . . . . On top is the tome I finished just last night: #OrangeTheCompleteCollection Volume 1 by #IchigoTakano! Then we have #HarryPotterSeries books seven through Four, which were read in #TomeTopple6. And on the bottom we have #CrimsonDeath by #LaurellKHamilton and #TheNameoftheWind by #PatrickRothfuss , which were read in August of 2017's Tome Topple, my first. 😊😍❤ . . . . The only two of these editions that I've actually read are the first volume of Orange: The Complete Collection and Crimson Death. The others were all purchased after the Tome Topples in which I read them. 😊❤ . . . . For #jayjaysbookishbirthday All Planned Out task, I present to you my Plan for Reading #Orange! I read Volume 1 over three days - one Part per day - and I'm tentatively planning to read Volume 2 the same way! If my buddy read partner agrees. 😊❤ . . . . And for #bookscoasttocoastnov Squad Goals task, I present to you the two squads in my #CurrentReads! In Orange, Volume 2, the friendship between Naho, Kakeru, Suwa, Hagita, Azu, and Taka is fabulous! I especially loved how they all contributed to a special message to give to Kakeru in the relay race. 😍❤ . . . . And in #ForaFewDemonsMore by #KimHarrison, I would love to count Rachel Morgan, Ivy Tamwood, and Jenks among my friends. Their friendship is #GOALS, too! 😄😍❤ . . . . Lastly, it's now technically 12:10a on November 20th. I apologize for posting my November 19th post late, but I was participating in a reading sprint and it only ended at 11:45p. And I'm not the fastest typer on my phone's tiny keyboard. 😕 . . . . I was reading For a Few Demons More by Kim Harrison in the sprint, though, and I made it to page 66! Today's July 5th task for the #TomeTopple #TomeToppleChallenge is to share my #tomereadingspot. I do the vast majority of my reading of +500-page tomes in bed. 😍❤ . . . . I also read out on the living room couch, by the window, but progress is slow because my Mom is home and so has the TV on when she's in the living room. 😕 . . . . So mostly I'm doing my #TomeTopple6 reading in bed, where I have my Bedtime Bear and usually Max keeping me company. And yes, I do still sleep with my Bedtime Bear. What of it? He's been my companion for around 35 years. 😊😍❤ . . . . To see the book I'm reading today, turn to Photo Two! It's Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix by J.K. Rowling, book five. I'm not actually going to read this edition of it, though. I plan to audiobook my way through the rest of this series. But I can't photograph my audiobooks on my bed, because they're all in my Audible app on my phone, which doubles as my camera. 😊❤ . . . . ARGH! I had a comment all written, but lost it! 😭 . . . . Today's July 10th task for the #TomeTopple #TomeToppleChallenge was to share a #TowerofTomes. This photo is of ALL of the fiction hardcovers I have in my collection, as far as I can recall. (And I'm 99.9% positive that this IS all. I mostly collect paperback books, after all.) 😊😍❤ . The books are, from bottom to top, The Lord of the Rings trilogy omnibus by J.R.R. Tolkien, Blood Song by Anthony Ryan, Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo, The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss, Harry Potter books six through four, and Harry Potter book seven. 😊 . . . . I've only read these editions of Harry Potter books four through seven and The Lord of the Rings trilogy omnibus. I've read The Name of the Wind, but never via one of the editions I own (I have two: this illustrated anniversary edition and a mass market paperback of it). 😊 . . . . I hope to read the Six of Crows duology and Blood Song in the next Tome Topple. Hopefully there will be another one in the fall of this year. And yes, I know the hardcover of Six of Crows is not +500 pages, but in paperback form it is close enough (495 pages), so I'll count it as a tome, too. 😉😊❤ . . . . Max participated in this #tongueouttuesday because he was panting. We had a family of at least eight javelina in our front yard at the time I took this photo. He was watching me very carefully so as to see if I looked away. Had I looked away, he'd have been off like a shot, back to the window to bark his head off at the javelina. It's good that he's so cute, is all I'll say about that. 😉😍❤ . . . . And lastly, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is on top because it is my #CurrentRead.
