This is November 19th's post for the #TomeTopple #TomeToppleChallenge - #PreviouslyToppledTomes - and #jayjaysbookishbirthday - #AllPlannedOut - AND #bookscoasttocoastnov - #SquadGoals! 😄😍❤ . . . . For today's daily #TomeTopple7 challenge, my Previously Toppled Tomes that I both own and still have from the library are on the right. They're stacked in order from most recently read to first read, top to bottom. 😄😍❤ . . . . On top is the tome I finished just last night: #OrangeTheCompleteCollection Volume 1 by #IchigoTakano! Then we have #HarryPotterSeries books seven through Four, which were read in #TomeTopple6. And on the bottom we have #CrimsonDeath by #LaurellKHamilton and #TheNameoftheWind by #PatrickRothfuss , which were read in August of 2017's Tome Topple, my first. 😊😍❤ . . . . The only two of these editions that I've actually read are the first volume of Orange: The Complete Collection and Crimson Death. The others were all purchased after the Tome Topples in which I read them. 😊❤ . . . . For #jayjaysbookishbirthday All Planned Out task, I present to you my Plan for Reading #Orange! I read Volume 1 over three days - one Part per day - and I'm tentatively planning to read Volume 2 the same way! If my buddy read partner agrees. 😊❤ . . . . And for #bookscoasttocoastnov Squad Goals task, I present to you the two squads in my #CurrentReads! In Orange, Volume 2, the friendship between Naho, Kakeru, Suwa, Hagita, Azu, and Taka is fabulous! I especially loved how they all contributed to a special message to give to Kakeru in the relay race. 😍❤ . . . . I somehow thought this prompt was a book with the cover color in the title. So I chose, Crimson Death by @official_lkhamilton again because the cover of the book is a very bloody red, aka crimson, color. "We all share each other's emotions, thoughts, feelings. Going through my old laptop's folders of fanfic from 2010-2014. It needs a fan beneath it to prevent it from overheating. I named it Buster when I bought my new one, whom I named CrimsonDeath, or Crim, for short. Because I have been and always shall be an Edge Lord. I'm both cringing and cackling at just how much of an Edge Lord I was!: -Everyone's (i.e. all my OCs) backstories have death in them (be they parents or significant others or both?) -Most OFCs crossdress either intentionally or get mistaken for boys and go with it (wow I am nonbinary af, there were so many signs omg) -A few OMCs do the opposite (because I longed to be a boy who could dress girly? The Signs, Man™) -There are a lot of half-page duds where I never even got past the initial description of my OC, because I really just liked making characters, I didn't know what to do with them??? -There's a lot of female character bashing, because I was a misogynistic teen struggling to make sense of my gender dysphoria as an AFAB, and struggling to grow up in general -nothing is finished. Nothing -There are 80+ documents -I'm preserving at least 40 for nostalgia, cringe, and salvaging purposes -The other 40 are either too barebones or I just don't care about them -Oh yeah, and the Hetalia fic, oh man, what a joy, all the nostalgia, @shikathedestroyer, @awenm -There's two (2) Twilight fics, one is cringey and edgy af, the other I still legitimately think about from time to time, then because I apparently really wanted to give Edward a boyfriend, now because I think said OMC deserves a better fic than this "Vanilla Twilight" trash. Named for Owl City's song, but I think the "vanilla" in the title is incriminating; it's like, I knew I could do better, this is vanilla fic, it's not pushing any boundaries at all, my teenaged self's subconscious was clearly onto something. -I've since thought of using that OMC in a Dragon Age fic but it hasn't really gone anywhere Anyway, I've been having a grand old time tonight, though my ass hurts from sitting on the floor for hours Now...onto the poetry. Of which there is significantly less, thank heavens.

Abnormal Days || The finder becomes the found

Such a shame that the quiet, otherwise peaceful morning, was disturbed by the dreaded yet constant rise of the body count. An alert on your keycards brings you to the castle, and from there you can see a long trail of blood. Strangely, there is no body where the blood trail ends, only the smell of hay and some spooked horses.

Is it possible that there was just a mistake? A chance that you hadn’t lost one of your own; that there would be no grueling trials followed by hours of taxing investigation? The hope that there had been a miscalculation floods your minds... until you enter the loonge.

Upon seeing the body, whatever hope you had died just as painfully as Crimson did. There they lay, limp on the couch. If there wasn’t a knife jutting out of their chest, a pained expression on their face, and blood soaking through their jacket, you would have just assumed that they were taking a nap. Ha, just kidding. You could never convince yourself that this was anything but a dead body. Seems that even in death, Crimson was down right awful at comforting others.

Crimson, a child who never wished to bother or be bothered by others, might become the center of your next miserable hours before the trial. Whatever, it’s not like Crimson had any hope of getting out of this place alive anyway.

honestly the new post image size isn't compatible with *anything* tbh, even if you save them as 540px they resize it back to 500px and then stretch it to 540 bc it's THAT DUMB
