I haven't followed your blog for very long but I wanted to ask you what your thoughts/reaction was to Tom Holland on the Lip Sync Battle? Personally I thought he was marvellous and the best one ever on the show.

I only watched a few clips of other people performing on the show, so I can’t say that my opinion is founded, but I agree he was the best, regardless. I have watched his performance several times tbh. 🤑😈 I love how he starts out, and you think it’s going to be some boring, average dance, and then he comes out to WIN!!! 🕺🏻🌂 I like to watch Zendaya’s portion too actually because they’re both really good.

However, I wonder if it’s the shock value of him being dressed as Rihanna that makes his performance so iconic, or if his dancing actually is the *best*. Like, Zendaya was dressed as Bruno Mars, and her act was really enjoyable and fun, but it’s always more “daring” for a guy to dress up like a girl. So if you isolated Tom’s dancing from the booty shorts, would it be received the same? But then it’s like, the outfit and the appearance is part of the performance too. Plus he was dancing in the rain and he really got into it and was getting down and putting his entire Tomussy into it lmfao, so I think that energy and commitment is what’s really made him the best. Like if he had just thrown a corset on and half-assed it, it wouldn’t have been the same. But he did the wig and the lipstick and looked damn fine, and coming from me that’s kind of major bc I’m not generally into lingerie/panty kink/feminization type stuff.

I sometimes feel kind of bad for him bc I believe he said A.) that Rihanna never responded to it, and he felt like he offended her. And B.) he regrets doing it bc of all the attention it got 😅 but I also don’t feel that bad for actors or celebrities in general bc the money they get more than compensates for their “troubles”. And he gets a lot of publicity for that dance. I think it has millions of views more than any other lip sync battle video. So at the end of the day, I think he’ll be okay. 🤪

But yes anyways, I really liked it and even showed it to my mom 😂 and one time RDJ’s Facebook page shared a meme about it, so I’m fairly certain like every other marvel cast member has seen it too, and that pleases me.
