Dear Stranger

Its been over a year since my last post. I sit here, sippin’ my coffee, and realise how much I changed over the past months. I got healthier, happier and rich by heart. I’ve met new people, amongst them what I thought the love of my life, No, she didnt do anythig wrong. Shes the most perfect human being on earth, and I, dont judge me, did soometing horrible. I cheated, for no good reason. I broke up with her, I didnt want to be a cheater. I want to be there for my girlfriend, I want to make her happy, and I want her to be able to trust me no matter what. Thats why I couldn’t be with her anymore. I didnt deserve her.

Shes happier now and I am not, but ok. I regret what I did, and I deserved the huge hunger for chocolate. Since the break-up weeks have passed.

Now I sit here, sippin’ my coffee, and realise how much I’ve changed over the past months. I learned aboutmy bad side, I learned the feeling of love, and I learned how to appreciate it. One  day, when I found love again, I am going to be my best. I want a  girl to sit on my lap, drink some tea, and eat the warm fresh cake I made. I want to take her on walks, or to sit by the lake nearby my house, just me and her or us with my friends. We’ll laugh, we’ll cry, but no matter what happens I ever want to see this sad expression on any womans face again. This certain sad little exression, caused by me, making her feel like she wasn’t worth it.

One day I will make a woman happy, and I will make up for what I did. But for now, only weeks have passed yet, and love needs time to be found. It needs time to develope. But it will be worth the wait.

So I sit here, sippin’ my coffee, and realise how much I’ve changed over the past months. I  grew up, and all I do now, is waiting for a chance to  make a woman the happiest one on earth.

So which 1 of u asked the other out? Did u do it? N how did u kno u should date her?

Let me first back up a little bit to answer this question. I had been in a few relationships before meeting Courtney. But, after my previous relationship (who was not Catholic), God decided to let me realize a valuable life lesson at the perfect time. I had been with other Catholic women, but they were not who I could see myself spending the rest of my life with. While I am still quite young, I am at the point in my life where I wanted a woman who was ready for a long deep and loving relationship. I was looking for a woman I could marry and spend the rest of my life with, so I decided to try online dating. I have been going to the same parish my entire life, but there are no young adults which only made things harder to find a compatible Catholic woman. I remember reading an ad in our church bulletin for catholicmatch. After some thought, I decided to give it a try. I was off and on the site for about three years before I met my girlfriend. She found me and when I saw her profile I was so drawn into her personality, her love for God and the Church, and just how incredibly beautiful she was.

Fast forward to our first date; we met up in June in San Luis Obispo where we stayed at two separate hotels. We were in SLO over the course of the weekend and had so much fun together. The highlight for me this weekend came from our Sunday Church experience at the Mission. I remember looking at her and smiling with such joy because this is what I wanted, to share my life with a woman who loved the Catholic faith and loved God as much as I do. On the last day of our date weekend, we had some very deep discussions about life, and I knew this was the woman I wanted to spend my life with. God called her to me exactly when I needed her most. So to answer the fundamental question, we kind of mutually agreed to go out with each other. I asked the question to make it “official,” but we already decided we wanted to pursue this relationship further. God helped both of us find each other, and I cannot see myself with any other woman she is my soulmate and is so perfect for me. I feel like I have known this woman my whole life that we have been dating for years and not months. I placed my life in God’s hands, and he provided for me when I least expected it, and now I am so thankful and so blessed to have a woman who is so intelligent, loving, kind, and extraordinary. When it comes to relationships, we all have attractions which draw us to an individual. But, we have to ask ourselves are we brought to the individual for the right reasons? I’m sorry for the long response, but it was a good question that I wanted to share with everyone.
