Frankie I could see coming to be in a canon divergence where instead of the Creature asking Victor to make him a wife as a companion he asks for his own child (with all the concerns about Autonomy and whatnot still very much there)

Everyone knew Dutch was obsessed with Johnny. Too invested.

Daniel’d never even seen the dude smile unless Johnny was around or someone was getting hurt. He practically barked like a dog whenever Daniel got near Johnny—He’s pretty sure the guy actually hates him—and came out from behind Johnny menacingly whenever it seemed like someone was making him upset.

He was surprised Johnny allowed that—someone to protect him; he didn't need it at all, from what Daniel’s seen. Not with people their age. He’s certainly not the princess the Cobras treat him like he is.

Daniel doesn’t know why he wants Johnny on his side—why he wishes he’d drop the snakes and take his hand. It's ridiculous.

They’re not as volatile as they were before, but he and Johnny still taunt each other. Push each other's buttons, but laugh about it with one another. All of them but Dutch seemed semi cool with him. Johnny seemed to actually come to like him a bit—if it isn’t wishful thinking.

He used to want Johnny to leave him alone. He used to wish him gone, even if he thought he was gorgeous then too—it’s hard not to.

But it’s all confusing. He felt his skin prickle whenever he saw Johnny with Dutch, like he just knew something was going on that he didn’t like.

He thought it was paranoia; maybe his gut was telling him they weren’t as redeemed as he thought they were, at least until they’ were at a house party playing spin the bottle in a big circle and Dutch’s turn landed on Johnny.

He knew everyone there—including himself—expected protests, some "I won’t kiss a guy"s, but none of that came. Instead, Dutch smirked, and Johnny raised his brows in a dare, like a "bet you won’t do it."

But Dutch will do anything when it comes to Johnny, it seems, because he crawled over and cupped Johnny’s face in his hands. Brushed his hair back before planting one on him.

Firmly. Thoroughly. Enjoying it.

Daniel saw tongue. Saw Dutch eat Johnny’s pink mouth and hold onto him too tight, like he didn’t want him to move away.

"Okay, Dutch, we get it. Don’t gotta neck in front of everyone—Let him breathe for god’s sake!" Bobby intervened .

Dutch pulled back and gave the guy a look so annoyed that it was a surprise he didn’t drop dead on the spot. Bobby didn’t even flinch.

Johnny’s face was flushed, his lips bruised and slick, and his hair messed up.

Daniel wanted to make him look like that. He didn’t want to want that.

Did the other Cobras do that with Johnny? Did they want to do it? Would he have let Daniel kiss him if the bottle landed on each other?

Daniel rolled up the top of the chip bag he was just snacking on, his appetite ruined.

He hated Dutch. He couldn't help it. He knows it's a worthless feeling that destroys, but he hates him.

It grew once everyone in the circle spread out again, and he found Dutch and Johnny in the kitchen together, Dutch caging Johnny in with both hands by gripping the counter behind him, hips almost pressed to his and faces close. The other Cobras near them and chattering.

Johnny looked….Happy about it. Or at least amused to the point of fond.

Daniel hid himself to the side of the opening to the kitchen, peeking in to keep watching. See what happens.

His heart was pounding so hard that it felt like he was going to throw it up.

"Was good wasn’t it?" Dutch crooned, putting a hand on Johnny’s waist.

"Yeah." Johnny responded with a shrug, smirking.

"Dang. Can’t I get a little more feedback than that, John?"

"Hmm. What if there’s just not much to say about your performance?—"

Dutch smashed his lips against Johnny’s at that, even more aggressive than before, and Johnny started giggling like it was a puppy licking at his face instead.

But then Dutch grabbed the back of Johnny’s knees and hoisted him up onto the countertop, smothering the responding gasp with his lips, and that’s what makes Johnny let out a small moan that would be ringing in Daniel’s ears for too long. In his dreams that night.

He ran out of the house with a hand to his chest, fumbling to get in his car and freak out there. He didn’t see Johnny notice him.

Robert Downey Jr was 54 years old when he last appeared as Iron Man in 2019. Even if a new movie starring RDJ was green lite and rushed into production, the earliest he would appear on screen as Tony Stark again would be 2027. The biggest problem for the 62 year old Stark wouldn’t be Kang or the return of Thanos, it would be whether he remembered to wear his adult diaper underneath the armor.
