Jesse was one of the oldest clones to be involved with the 501st so it hit me right in the chest when I realised that he was one of Rex’s men in helping Anakin train Ahsoka to fight off their enemies earlier in the war, and Jesse was there trying to kill her under the chip’s orders at the end of S7, where she and Rex were fighting for their lives before they were able to escape in the end. Jesse helped her escape from himself, even if he didn’t know it in the beginning. and ohhhhhh I cannot do this, fellas

TOTJ: The other Jedi all died because they didn't have Anakin's super special clone blocking endurance training he gave Ahsoka.
TCW: Rex is able to hesitate for about 10 seconds extra after he gets the order, which allows him to give Ahsoka a warning before anyone starts shooting that literally no other Jedi is able to have. This also has the double effect of giving Ahsoka access to information that allows her to know she can reclaim Rex as an ally if she can just remove the chip somehow, something no other Jedi is able to have.

it feels very star wars, in the best sense, for dooku to fall deeper into the dark side after qui-gon's death because he becomes fixated on blaming the jedi council so that he doesn't have to reckon with the fact his conspiring with sidious played a far more direct role in what happened than whatever mistakes the council made. sidious calls qui-gon a necessary sacrifice for their cause, which upsets dooku, but not as much as the idea that his death was an entirely preventable tragedy that dooku failed to stop... which is why yaddle telling him qui-gon didn't need to die made him snap. because if that's true then dooku is as guilty and corrupt as the senators he despised for ignoring suffering. and he can't bring himself to face that reckoning, not when it's so much easier to just make it another reason the jedi are at fault.

Bail Organa may have not been a jedi, force sensitive man or have any ‘special’ skill, but I really think he was one of the strongest, bravest and most noble character in Star Wars and TOTJ just keeps proving it.
Leaving aside his power and influence due to his status, in a galaxy with Jedis, Sith lords, witches, Mandalorian warriors, and many other characters like this, he's one of the most common people, and yet he's one of the strongest.
Tumblr media
He had just witnessed the fall of the Republic, the fall of his life's work all being destroyed and he watched as he wasn't able to do anything to stop it, he just saw the Jedi temple burning down and a child being killed before his eyes without being able to save him, he had just saw one of his closest allies and friend died in childbirth as he couldn't do anything to save her, and even after all that, his passion and bravery remained, he jumped in to find any jedi he could help, he help hide two kids from a Sith Lord, help rescue Yoda and Obi Wan, ofered Ahsoka comfort, help and support, help rebel cells across the galaxy and citizens in need just a few days after all the chaos.
Padme had just died from sadness and Obi Wan and Ahsoka were broken (as any individual would be after living that traumatic events), but Bail Organa kept going, his sense of duty and responsability is far from any other character we had seen, maybe only Leia and Breha have the same amount of this passion and sense of responsability.
Now we know from where Leia got it, “I feel like because I can fight, I have to for those who cannot”
