I do the vast majority of my writing on a second hand Samsung S6 edge+ that I somehow managed to pick up off Ebay for the grand sum of £20 a little over a year ago. It's so old it's practically obsolete, most apps can't even be installed (including the one to top up the PAYG credit, so that's fun), but it's one of the only devices that were ever released with an option to buy the coolest phone case known to man.

I still don't understand why these weren't supremely popular, because you can clip on an actual, real life PHYSICAL KEYBOARD whenever you need it, and then just unclip it (and store it on the back of the phone) when you want to use the full screen instead, and it is the best thing ever.

I love it so much. So much. Only today it seems to have pretty much given up the ghost and I'm more than a bit devastated.

Admittedly, I think there are a few more things I can try when I have time, and I'm still holding out hope that it's not completely dead yet, but in my experience, even if I do get it back up and running, there's a fair chance it'll just keep on crashing with increasing frequency and given how likely it is that I could lose all my work if/when it does finally die, I'm not as optimistic as I'd like to be that this isn't the beginning of the end...

And yes, if I have to, I can buy a 'new' one, but I got incredibly lucky last time and paying £80+ for a used phone that's so old it's barely functional seems like daylight frickin' robbery - and I can't even be sure it'll last any longer than this one has.

Sorcha was disappointed, and scared, and sulky because she got the bollocking of a lifetime. She was always supposed to be Embraced: she'd figured out what the family secret before she hit her teens, and was lowkey groomed to be someone's perfect Giovanni girlfriend before her da got involved. It wasn't supposed to be at nineteen and in a panic by some rando drug dealer who wasn't even family.

The hard part was learning to live with thin Blood. Keeping that secret, meeting other thinbloods and having to lie to them, knowing she could be and do so much more if she didn't have to pretend she was real.

Wow big apology to everyone here, I usually post from my phone and my tags are a mess! The typos are everywhere! And of course you can't edit tags on mobile the way you can on desktop.

My favorite part is how often I think I've fixed a typo, only to have made a new one or the same one again.
