The Decepticons had to institute a Ban on Cloning Optimus Prime specifically.

The first reason being that most of the clones fail and provide no tactical advantage in the end.

The second reason is that the two successful clones made are too much for anyone to handle. Toxitron is basically brewing liquor in the basement and the kinky fucker keeps interfacing in public (with extreme vigor and enthusiasm), resulting in several messes (biohazards), and Nemesis Prime seems to be determined to slowly fuck, ride, suck and whore his way through the entire army.

They inherited all of the Original Source’s interface drive, but absolutely ZERO self control.

This the Ban was brought about, because two of them are bad enough.

Honestly that's fucking hilarious that it shows they didn't learn the first time and, really, I can't even blame either of them

I want to know who's willing to fuck Toxitron in public knowing this is his Thing (Skywarp)

I love a universe where there isn't just one Optimus clone within the decepticon army, but two

Well now the headache’s back, but I ended up making this the past couple hours

I really don’t know if this is supposed to mean anything, this more came from the fact that today, I learned of the existence of a character called Toxitron, and I also decided to listen to Iron Man by Black Sabbath, and the two things sort of culminated into what you see here

I had him saying “I am Iron Man” because I really like that droning line at the beginning of the song

Basically the song made me think of ideas for a hypothetical Toxitron. The ones I do have is that he’s a man-made Transformer, possibly inspired by Optimus but I’m not sure. He spits out acid from his hands, and he’s not very bright. He’s alive and thinking but his processor is not at the level of a normal Cybertronian. I’m thinking that maybe he was a far more rudimentary bot originally, but some Cybertronian artifact made him closer to an actual Transformer, but maybe it didn’t give him a fully functional processor. Or it’s due to his corrosive nature, with all his acid

He’d originally be a third party character due to his origins, but he might end up with the Decepticons or the Autobots later, I’m not sure who. But I also don’t see him lasting long in a show, not much more than a season. He’s only surviving to a finale/premiere if he first showed up in the middle-ish of a season and isn’t a main focus of those end points, just a side character. But yeah, he’d probably end up dying relatively soon, probably in a gruesome manner, maybe melting. It might be like a self sacrificial move, or it could just be gruesome death of a villain

But anyways yeah, I had all these thoughts, and I was considering trying to design this guy, with the image you see here being like a side sketch thing in the picture. But then I just decided to make that the whole picture instead of trying to properly design him in full

I’d imagine he’s saying this at the point where he becomes like a fully functional Transformer, and not just a man made attempt. I don’t know whether he’d actually say this, but it’s just supposed to be from the song, let me have this

He’s sort of just a mishmash of his Animated and comic designs, as well as me just doing whatever I want. The design in general takes more inspiration from Animated, since while I haven’t been drawing too much of TFA, I really like how shaped the art style is

If I were to make a proper design, there’d probably be some changes, but whatever, it was just for this. No clue what he properly looks like

I made the art sort of crude on purpose, because it was supposed to reflect him and his crude nature

Anyways, I think I had more but the headache is becoming unbearable, I think I should just stop writing soon, but I like this piece. I’m just gonna say that, I think it turned out relatively well

I realize he’s probably not super accurate to the original character, but shut up, it was a thought and I had to make it

Every time Optimus gets cloned, when the clone isn’t born braindead or dies in the test tube like a stillborn, they proceed to just be completely unhinged.

Optimus is a mature, calm and levelheaded individual, therefore his clones should be as well, right? NOPE. Every last one of those fucks is batshit crazy with no regard to their own personal health and safety, and end up being public health hazards. Each and every one of them is absolutely feral.

The longest surviving Clones (aka The Maniacs Who Have Yet to Kill Themselves), Nemesis Prime and Toxitron, seem to be on a lifelong nihilistic, amorous, hedonistic Crashout.

Everyone looks at Optimus and silently wonders if he is okay. What is going on in that brain.

Optimus isn’t about to deny that he’s holding onto his sanity with a shaky grip right now.

I want to stick the three in a Situation together and make them have hard conversations

Toxitron collection 01: mirage!

Man I wish I went in on these figures when they were more readily available because MAN I want that sideswipe. I think the Walmart near me still has toxitron himself…

So I finished making this design for Toxitron in my AU that I started yesterday. Another full picture of just one character, because why not honestly? Worked well enough last time for me

Design wise, I’m actually quite satisfied with this one, I think he turned out pretty well. The only real thing is his mouth thing. I wanted him to have some sort of thing covering his mouth, but it didn’t turn out the way I wanted, so it’s gonna need a change. But everything else I think turned out pretty good

I’m realizing that I basically didn’t take from his actual design at all, but like, Toxitron is an Optimus redeco, so it’s probably fine. His design was more inspired by these two Mega Man designs, as well as some things from Sentinel, like the head fins

I wanted to make his light color bright green originally, but the issue there is that Toxitron already has a bright green as one of his main colors, so it’s gonna get difficult to differentiate them. I played around with other colors, but I think I’ve settled on the orange by this point, it’s distinct from the other colors, even if it’s not the main “radioactive” color

But yeah overall, I quite like this design, just a few things to change

Now on to the character stuff

So my brain decided to include Toxitron in this AU by utilizing the idea that there were several failed attempts before Sentinel. So basically, Toxitron here was a failed attempt at recreating Optimus and his Matrix. His Matrix is wildly unstable, even more so than Elita’s, turning the Energon in his body into this toxic state. Not only that, but it causes him severe pain, to the point that it makes it hard for him to think properly

He was an utter failure, and his Matrix leaves him a danger if left unchecked, in part due to him being made powerful and left without the ability to properly think rationally. But he’s also actually alive, and maybe scientists wanted to study the toxic Energon he creates, so he was kept in whatever lab he was created in, kept away from society, also so the public doesn’t know Autobots did this

Sentinel was also not made aware of Toxitron’s existence, he was never supposed to know about him, he was just vaguely told that there were other attempts before him. But he did eventually end up discovering him, unknown to his higher-ups

Basically the idea here is that Sentinel, seeing how Optimus had family in Elita-1 and Alpha Trion, started yearning for that himself, and started looking into the previous attempts at him to find some semblance of it. And through his efforts, he ended up finding out about and later actually meeting Toxitron. It really wasn’t what he was expecting, seeing Toxitron in the horrible state he’s in. Like obviously, based on what little he did know, Toxitron’s state of being wouldn’t have been this ideal scenario, but some part of him had idealized it, and thought it’d be closer to Elita, who’s got a flawed Matrix but is pretty much entirely sane, or that the Autobots would be treating him at least a little better

But despite this, he does still stick with Toxitron, still seeing him as his “brother”, even if it wasn’t the situation he specifically wanted. He would secretly meet with Toxitron on occasion, and he was pretty much the only person to try and treat Toxitron as a person, and not just an experiment, and he sees that kinship between them in their shared origins. Which is something Toxitron recognizes; he despises Autobots for what they did to him, but even in his mentally impaired state, he does not hate Sentinel, and is one of the few people he cares about

Now Sentinel isn’t supposed to know about Toxitron, let alone meet him, and Sentinel is aware of this, and what potential consequences there could be for the both of them. He makes their meetings very secret, and pretends he knows nothing about him. It’s fine at this point, but he doesn’t know what he’s going to do is Toxitron were to ever get out of the lab, something Toxitron wants, even more so now that he’s gotten a taste of the outside from Sentinel, and something Sentinel wants as well, but he doesn’t know how to go about it while flying under the radar

I don’t know when this would happen, but I do imagine that at some point Toxitron ends up escaping, whether by breaking out himself, or an escape orchestrated by Sentinel, which may have ended up getting botched. And to tie it into the main characters, Optimus and his group are probably around during the incident and end up being tasked to deal with Toxitron, probably labeled a rogue Decepticon experiment. But shock of all shocks to them (who have no prior context to anything mentioned, they don’t even know Toxitron and Sentinel are remotely connected), Sentinel ends up defending the rogue bot causing problems

Sentinel’s explanation of things probably isn’t the best, and he probably ends up accidentally insulting Elita to Optimus’ face by comparing her and Toxitron, but eventually they get the picture, and they ultimately decide to help Toxitron in escaping his captivity, and Sentinel in finding somewhere to take him, which would end up being with Blackarachnia, his situationship but also a neutral party that at least cares about Sentinel’s interests, and also a scientist

This whole situation has Sentinel in a tough position of trying to help but also trying not to blow his cover. I imagine telling Optimus and his group was a risk, but one he was willing to take because despite his envy of Optimus, he knows that compassion is one of his main characteristics, and he's not dogmatically loyal to the Autobots anyways, so he was banking on Optimus actually letting them go, which ended up paying off when he did. It's also a situation for the main group to get a more nuanced understanding of Sentinel, who previously seemed like nothing more than a jerk

But anyways, back to plot, so yeah Toxitron eventually ends up staying with Blackarachnia (who was previously made aware of the whole Toxitron situation, this isn't just being sprung upon her), and she does try to help in some way with his condition. She can't fix his Matrix, but she can reformat his frame so that the toxic Energon at least has a way of safely dispensing itself from his body, and probably also letting him properly weaponize it if need be. I'm thinking that the canisters in his back (you can't see them much but they're supposed to be there) can detach and be emptied once they get too full, which they do periodically. So her solution doesn't fix Toxitron's issues, but it does help alleviate them in certain ways and puts him in a lot less pain. She also wants to study the toxic Energon he produces, to either weaponize it and/or find a way to convert it to useable Energon, but to her credit she only uses the stuff after it's been dispensed from his body, she doesn't hurt him for it

He's still stuck in a lab, but he's being treated far better and by two people who actually care for his well-being. And probably with his pain lessened, he's able to actually start thinking clearly and learning and becoming more of a person and such

This design of his is probably post-Blackarachnia, but I don't know what to do for his design prior

Toxitron finds himself a neutral party in this war, since as previously stated, he despises the Autobots outside of a few like Sentinel, and probably Optimus after his escape (but he doesn't fully like him because Sentinel hates him, and probably later when he gets the understanding that his existence is kind of because of Optimus). But he also has no real opinion on the Decepticons other than Sentinel fights against them. The only two people he has any true loyalty to are Sentinel and Blackarachnia, he'll only fight for them

He's also unstable and not the most rational thinker, but he is still very powerful and potentially dangerous. If he were to get infected by the D-virus, he would become a terrifying force to reckon with, even more than before, as there'd be no talking him down

And I think that's all I have to say on Toxitron at the moment? I realize it was more about Sentinel than him, but that kind of was the thought process when I made up this character, how he's Sentinel's brother and such. Honestly he may take up the empty position of Sentinel's lost partner I had previously made up in making Sentinel more tragic, but I'm not sure. I still would like that role, but I admit I still don't have anyone to properly fill it

But yeah, that's that. I might end up doing Blackarachnia next, since I at least had some ideas stem from this train of thought. I just need to know if there are any spider based Mega Man characters for reference
