toya and tsukasa both are hard of hearing (tsukasa's is Much Much worse and he actually wears hearing aids for it on a regular basis, whereas toya's isnt that intense and he doesnt need aids to function in society) when they were younger; tsukasa couldnt decide how to decorate/ color the hearing aids so he'd ask for saki's input so whatever colors she choose, he went with :3 but as the technology very quickly grew (and he started being aware of what audiences can see and question) he now gets the ones that are nearly invisible
basically all the tenmas including toya are disabled, in solidarity with each other

MY HERO ACADEMIA MASTERLIST Pro hero Dabi - headcanons A warm welcome - pro hero!Dabi - headcanons NSFW Sidekick!Reader - pro hero Dabi headcanons (NSFW)
Tumblr media
Dabi's counting on Shoto to intern for him because, come on, he's the adorable baby brother, and Dabi's thinking, "I wanna put this kid in my pocket, he's so cute."
But, oh no, it's Bakugo who fills out the internship papers for pro hero Dabi's agency.
Dabi doesn't hear a lot about the ash-blonde-haired teenager somehow, but once they meet face-to-face, Dabi is truly taken aback at first, seeing how rude and gruff Bakugo is.
Initially, Bakugo is quite displeased upon meeting the eldest Todoroki face-to-face, finding his expectations shattered. He had pictured pro hero Dabi as taller and cooler, but with time, Bakugo gradually becomes fond of him, showing a basic, proper respect.
For Bakugo, interning with pro hero Dabi is the total opposite of interning with Beast Jeanist.
Instead of trying to fix Bakugo, Dabi's all about embracing the chaos. He encourages Bakugo's wild antics because, hey, scandal sells, and Dabi's the master of that game.
The real challenge for Dabi? Teaching Bakugo how to talk to the public. And trust me, public speaking isn't Bakugo's strong suit - never has been.
Dabi, in all his wisdom, throws dating advice at Bakugo, even if he didn't ask for it (because he's not a softie who's settling down, hell no!)
While fighting villains is important, Dabi drills into Bakugo that looking good doing it is equally crucial. Smile, dance, strike a pose – give the people what they want!
Now, if Bakugo becomes pro hero Dabi's sidekick, expect him to take on some of his mentor's flair. Flirty interviews? Check. Arrogant swagger? Double-check. And you bet Bakugo would flex that sweet sidekick salary for the best gear, clothes, tech - basically, the best everything. Because why settle for less when you're the hottest thing in hero-town?
We all know Bakugo has a penchant for spicy food. Somehow, pro hero Dabi inherits this trait after his sidekick.
What Dabi appreciates about Bakugo working for him is the fact that Bakugo is very straightforward.
Dabi is thrilled with Bakugo's performance, and the younger man earns himself a spot in Dabi's Instagram highlights. This section houses some stories featuring that arsonist boy (that's Dabi's nickname for Katsuki)
Dabi asks his trusted gear designer to help improve Bakugo's hero costume, but Bakugo doesn't want to agree because he likes his costume the way it is. The young man ends up not talking to the oldest Todoroki for a day or two. Instead, he just barks at his orders, showing his unhappiness. "Tsk! Yeah, old bastard, I get it!" or "Shut up, and don't tell me what to do, dammit!"

† Ā grandpa. : toya.
Tumblr media
ā„ scenario: grandpa enji is a last resort. ā„ request; @pinkhairandribbons ( i tried TT i suck at writing about kids. ) ā„ no warnings; unless you need a father jumpscare warning. ā„ a/u: clearing out my requests, please be patient.
ā„ i can n o t find who edited the picture in the banner TT please for the love of god, if it's yours, let me know.
chaos took over your apartment as you attempted to get ready, straighten up and answer messages, trying to contact your in laws. toya and yourself had been put out on simultaneous missions at the last minute, leaving you struggling with someone to watch your watch. natsuo, fuyumi and shoto were all tied up in their own lives and your last option, well, the name alone was enough to make your husband bristle.
"absolutely not," toya bit out, folding his arms as he paced back and forth across the room. "there's no way he's watching her. you know how he is. you think i'm going to trust him with her?"
you took a calming breath, already prepared for this reaction; a justified reaction. "toya, he's changed. he's put in a lot of work to make things right with your siblings.. fuyumi even said he's been trying to make up for the past."
toya scoffed, shaking his head. "that's different. they're adults. this is our daughter we're talking about. and let's not even begin on the fact it took until all of us were adults for him to do it." his gaze softened as he looked over to the corner where she sat in her playpen, chewing on a stuffed animal and babbling happily to herself.
you walked over to him, placing a gentle hand on his arm. "look, i understand. i do. but we don't have another option, and both of us are needed on these missions." you paused, meeting his eyes with a pleading look. "can we give him this chance? just this once?"
he hesitated, his jaw clenched, clearly wrestling with the decision. after a long silence, toya let out a reluctant sigh. "fine. just this once. but if anything happens—"
"it won't," you assured him with a small smile, wrapping your arms around him. "thank you."
he rolled his eyes, but you could see the worry lingering behind them as he nodded, pulling you close for a brief, protective embrace. "if he messes up even once.. a single hair out of place-- i swear, he's never seeing any of us again."
of course, you were the one making the phone call.
ļ½”ļ¾Ÿā€¢ā”ˆąØā™”ą§ā”ˆā€¢ t゚
after you and toya left, your daughter was initially shy, clutching her little stuffed animal as she looked up at enji with wide, curious eyes. she'd met him a few times but it wasn't unusual for a toddler to be a little wary of someone of his build. but enji, sensing her hesitance, softened his usually stoic expression and gave her a gentle smile.
"do you like stories?" he asked, kneeling down to her level. "i know a lot of good ones."
she nodded slowly, her shyness fading almost immediately as she looked at him with interest. "stories?" she asked, her voice small and tentative.
enji nodded, getting comfortable on the living room floor beside her as he began telling her a story about a brave little fox who helped her friends and saved her village; he was more than happy to use the plastic character toys for added effect. as he spoke, he noticed how her eyes sparkled with excitement, her little giggles punctuating his words whenever he added in dramatic voices for the characters. for a man who was used to facing villains and high-stakes missions, it was the most relaxed he'd felt in a long time. he let himself enjoy that, guilt free.
after the story, he let her climb onto his back, pretending to be the "big, brave horse" from her toy set, even trotting around the room as she squealed with laughter, her small arms wrapped around his neck. her joy was infectious, and for a brief moment, enji felt as if the weight he carried from his past was a little lighter.
he managed to ignore the fact he would never live it down if he was caught pretending to be a horse.
as they settled down, enji picked up a few of her toys, organizing them as she sat beside him, watching him carefully with her big, bright eyes. she was quiet for a moment, then looked up at him. a look he could only compare to his oldest son at the same age.
"grandpa?" she asked, her voice soft.
enji looked down at her, a gentle smile on his face. "yes?"
she hesitated, her little face scrunched up in thought, before asking, "are you… sad?"
the question took him by surprise. he paused, then nodded slowly. "i was. for a long time," he admitted, his voice low but calm. "but it's better now. i have people who help me feel better. people like your daddy, and… people like you."
she seemed to consider his answer as carefully as a toddler could, her small fingers reaching for his hand and giving it a tiny squeeze, offering him the pure, unconditional comfort only a child could give. "daddy says we all need hugs sometimes. so i give hugs when he's sad," she declared, her smile wide as she scooted closer, wrapping her small arms around him in a sweet, clumsy hug.
enji's chest tightened with a warmth he hadn't felt in years as he hugged her back, his eyes glistening. "thank you," he murmured. he could feel the weight of his past lifting just a little more as he held his granddaughter close, a quiet promise forming in his heart—to be the kind of grandfather she deserved. he'd missed out on those 'healing hugs' with his own children, he'd be damned if he missed out on even more with his grandchildren.
as s phe ulled back, beaming, enji felt something shift within him. maybe redemption wasn't an end goal but a continuous journey, one made easier by these small, tender moments of love and acceptance. and with that thought, he smiled at her, holding her small hand as they went back to play.
ļ½”ļ¾Ÿā€¢ā”ˆąØā™”ą§ā”ˆā€¢ t゚
when you finally left for your respective missions, it was with a heavy feeling, knowing how much toya was worrying. you'd seen the flash of worry in his eyes as he had kissed her goodbye, telling her, "be good, alright? daddy will be back soon." and though he tried to keep his voice light, the strain was clear.
your own parents weren't in the picture but you knew the struggle he must have had leaving her behind in his hands. while you were worried, a normal feeling when leaving your kid, you could feel that everything would be okay.
you spent most of the mission checking your phone, glancing at it during every brief lull in the action, half expecting toya to message you with complaints or concerns. but as the hours ticked by, there were no frantic calls, no worried texts - just silence. maybe he'd managed to get rid of his panic.
when you finally returned home that night, toya had passed you in the hall, close to a run to get through the apartment door - it was kind of sad but you couldn't help but chuckle. he immediately stilled at the sight before him. in the soft glow of the living room light, there was his daughter, wrapped in a tiny fleece blanket, asleep in enji's lap. her little fingers clutched a stuffed animal and her small head rested against her grandfather's chest, her breaths even and peaceful.
perhaps the most surprising thing was enji himself. his large, usually intense hands were gentle as he held her, his once hardened face softened as he watched her sleep. it was a side of him you'd never seen before - calm, patient, almost… tender. it was like looking at a completely different person.
you hadn't met him until toya made the announcement of your wedding, having kept his personal life at a distance from his father - rei was the only reason he was invited. you hadn't been too fond of him back then, feeling like the air was tense anytime he was around. but you were content, knowing things had actually, just maybe, taken a good turn.
enji looked up as you and toya entered, nodding in greeting but remaining quiet so as not to wake her. "she fell asleep about an hour ago," he said in a low voice, gently smoothing a stray hair from her face. "had a big day.. saved a lot of people."
toya stood frozen for a moment, taking in the scene with a mixture of awe and disbelief. he hadn't expected this- this gentle, loving version of his father who held his granddaughter as if she were the most precious thing in the world. this version he never knew - the one he'd hoped and begged for. it almost made him angry but that wasn't fair, was it?
you smiled softly, feeling your heart swell at the sight. "thank you, enji. really. it seems like she had a really good day."
enji nodded, his gaze not leaving her. "she reminds me a lot of fuyumi at that age," he said, his voice soft, carrying a weight of sad nostalgia. "a little firecracker, but so kind."
there was a long pause before toya finally stepped forward, his usual defenses lowered as he spoke quietly. "did… did everything go okay?" his tone was softer than you'd expected, almost hesitant, like he was looking for a reason to justify that ill emotions in the back of his mind.
enji met his gaze, nodding once. "yes. she's a strong girl." he glanced down at her with a small, almost wistful smile. "she's got your stubbornness, too. took a while to get her to settle down."
toya let out a small huff, though there was a ghost of a smile on his face as he took in the scene. he let it go. "guess she gets that from both of us," he muttered.
as if sensing her parents' presence, the small girl stirred, letting out a soft sigh before opening her sleepy eyes. she blinked a few times, and when she saw toya, her face lit up with a bright, tired smile. "daddy," she murmured, reaching out to him.
toya's sharp demeanor melted as he gently lifted her from enji's arms, cradling her against his chest. "hey, firefly," he murmured, pressing a soft kiss to her forehead. "did you have fun with grandpa?"
she nodded sleepily, snuggling into his embrace. "grandpa's funny," she mumbled, her little voice slurred with drowsiness. toya had a natural warmth to him that tended to ease anyone to such a state.
you exchanged a smile with enji, and even toya couldn't hide the small smile that tugged at his lips as he held her close. "yeah? he better have been," he murmured, casting a sideways glance at enji, though there was a hint of gratitude in his gaze.
enji rose to his feet, giving toya a small nod. "thank you for trusting me with her," he said quietly. "i know it… wasn't easy."
toya hesitated, his gaze softening as he held her close. "yeah, well… guess we all get a second chance, right?" you could see the way his jaw flexed after the words.
enji's expression flickered with a hint of regret, but he nodded. "i'm doing my best to make up for it. she's… she's a blessing."
as enji made his way to the door, you walked him out, placing a hand on his shoulder as you thanked him again. the gratitude in his eyes was clear, and as he left, you felt a deep sense of peace, feeling as though the one evening could make an awfully big difference.
once you returned inside, you found toya rocking your daughter gently, his eyes lingering on her with a warmth and gentleness that made your heart swell. he looked up at you, his lips curling into a small smile as he mouthed, "thank you."
just as you settled in for the night, toya's phone buzzed with a message from natsuo. he glanced at it, and a chuckle escaped his lips as he handed you the phone.
"wait, you let dad watch her?? are you crazy??"
another message followed from shoto, adding, "i didn't think you'd trust him with a potted plant, let alone your daughter."
you laughed, leaning against toya as he shook his head, his smile softening as he looked down at her, now sleeping peacefully in his arms. "guess we're all crazy," he murmured, pressing another gentle kiss to her forehead. and as he looked at you, his gaze full of love, you knew he wouldn't have it any other way.
"runs in the family," you teased, knowing the same love reflected in your own gaze.

Akito definitely has a black cat. (Because of the dog thing) Whenever Toya goes to his house, the first thing that he does is pet the cat. :)

Random hcs in no particular order:
- Everyone in wxs is autistic
- Bpd Shinonomes
- Saki uses a cane or a different mobility aid (depending on how bad) on flare up days, has POTS, used a wheelchair for awhile after getting out of the hospital due to being weak physically
- Mafuyu has low empathy
- Toya has arfid and struggles with reading faces/body language and tones pretty badly (autism)
- Trans Ena and Akito: they switched names and helped each other with shopping for new clothes
- Bigender Tsukasa, uses any pronouns, trying to grow out hair too
- Kohane likes to do An’s nails and eventually started doing Toya and Akitos
- Emu has high empathy, which leaves her overwhelmed sometimes
- Akito is in denial about having adhd
- Agender Toya, doesnt care much abt his gender and doesnt care how ppl see or refer to him, likes long skirts
(🪼 for any if u would like)
-šŸ¦‡
Take one look at that group of clowns and tell me their neurons aren’t at least a little divergent.
HEAVY believer of this one, always one of the first things I mention when someone asks me about my hcs
I drew Saki with crutches once and I think it gave me a whole new perspective. I love seeing people interpret her with mobility aids, she would absolutely put stickers on them when she can
YES. This one feels canon
Touya has expressed that he tends to struggle with tone and understanding people, and his parents haven’t thought at least ONCE that maybe ā€œhey, maybe our kids neurons are divergentā€
I see this a lot with the Tenma’s, I’m so glad to see that it has spread to the Shinonomes (<- heavy transman Akito headcanoner)
Tsukasa is my favorite gender. I genuinely struggle with settling on a gender hc for Kasa because that creature is so girl yet so boy. You take one look at him and you’re flash banged with gender. LONG HAIRED TSUKASA. I always draw him with long hair, you get it
THIS IS SO CUTE. They all have matching nails. I’ve always imagined Kohane to have really nice nails for some reason
OH I LOVE THIS. Ive always seen her as the type of person to be like ā€œIf you cry, I’ll cry!ā€ and I like the thought of it leaving her overwhelmed. Because, obviously she’s gonna have her limits with how much emotions she goes through in a day. Which is a lot.
ADHD Akito is canon he came to me in a vision and whispered it in my ear
Gender lacking Touya truthers, we rejoicešŸ”„ (<- Nonbinary Touya liker here) AND THE SKIRTS. OH MY/pos

The only characters in this entire game that would survive a cockroach are Shiho, Haruka and Ena (would kill it with little to no hesitation), Toya and Mafuyu (chronic idgafers, saw the cockroach and just decided to open a door for it to get out) and Emu (traps or picks that shit up and takes it outside. Built different.)
Tsukasa died seeing the mere antennas. Kanade would do the same as Toya/Mafu but this does not mean she'd survive it. She wouldn't.
Rui is a secret third category of "does not get rid of the cockroach". Would probably do tests on it.
