what's next, requiring "identity passports" to board airplanes?
Tumblr media
@oureric writes:
So now I’m hearing that the “government” is making you show an “age passport” to enter a bar or buy alcohol and a “driving passport” operate a tractor trailer? Wowwww. Smdh
(and how about those "capitalism passports" to get discount prices on goods and services?)

Pumpkin Picking
Pairing: Kirishima x reader
Genre: fluff
Warnings: maybe some making out at the end??
A/N: back for more tooth rotting Kirishima boyfriend fluff and fun fall activities
Tumblr media
Fall was now in full swing, once October came
The weather had stopped fluctuating between hot and cold, the chill finally settling in
Halloween was creeping closer and closer
But decorating for Halloween is never complete without pumpkins
And not the pumpkins from the grocery store
Only the pumpkins had picked from the field would do
Now Kirishima knows too
You sat in the driver’s seat this time, too eager to let Kirishima drive. He sat in the passenger’s seat gently holding your hand. His attention was mostly out the window looking at the leaves on the trees, the vibrant red and yellow colors catching his eyes. You squeezed his hand, pulling his attention from the window and back to you.
“Are we almost there? My phone fell.” You asked softly, pulling your hand away and putting it back on the wheel. This caused Kirishima to pout slightly before he reached down to grab your phone.
“Yeah, it says 5 minutes. You need to take your next right and then we’re there.” Kirishima responded as he placed your phone back in the cup holder.
You hummed contently, giving your hand back to Kirishima. He happily took it back and resumed looking out the window. This stretch of the drive was mostly free of trees, being occupied by far stretches of open land that had farms on them. The best places to get pumpkins were local farms where you could pick them yourselves. You could see the horses and cows dotting the pastures in the distance.
“Horses.” Kirishima mumbled softly, causing you to laugh. Kirishima smiled at you before looking back out the window.
You saw the turn coming up and put your blinker on. You two decided to go on a weekday so it didn’t look like the farm was too busy. You carefully parked the car and looked over at Kirishima, who was already looking at you.
“Are you ready to have the time of your life?” You asked happily, giving him a wide smile.
“As ready as I’ll ever be.” He hummed in response. He leaned over and gave you a quick kiss before getting out of the car. You followed his lead and ran over to his side, “How does this work anyway?”
You took his hand in your own and started guiding him towards the farm house, that seemed to have a market on the inside and outside of it, “Usually you pay for the pumpkins by weight.”
“I plan on getting the biggest pumpkin I can find.’ Kirishima said as he wiggled his eye brows at you.
“OO my boyfriend is soo manly.” You giggled as you pulled him a little closer to you. He smiled happily and flexed his arm, posing for you, “Wow I’m just the luckiest girl in the entire world.”
“No, (y/n), I’m the luckiest guy in the entire world.” Kirishima said softly, stopping the two of you. He gently cupped your face and leaned down to give you a soft kiss. You looked up at him with big eyes and a slight pout, feeling your cheeks begin to heat up.
“I think we can settle this and say we’re both lucky.” You responded before pulling him in for another quick kiss. Kirishima smiled at you before continuing to walk, pulling you along with your connected hands.
“What’s this tractor for?” Kirishima asked once you got behind the farm house. There were a few people gathered around the tractor before someone started helping them get into the trailer that was hooked behind it. There were hay bales on the floor for people to sit on.
“That’s how we get to the pumpkin patch, Kiri.” You hummed as you lead him over to the tractor, “It cycles around to drop people off in the patch and to bring people back to leave.”
Kirishima nodded slightly before helping you up into the back of the trailer. You offered your hand, which he gladly took. The two of you settled down on a hay bale and you looked at the people around you. There was a family with a two small kids and two other couples. Kirishima gently placed his hand on your thigh and gave it a gentle squeeze. You smiled at the gesture before taking his hand in your own as the tractor began to move.
It was a relatively slow ride out to the pumpkin patch. The route gave you a show of the other crops that the farm was growing, like the corn field that was currently being used for a corn maze. There weren’t many people in the field, which was still filled with an abundance of pumpkins. Usually once it gets close to Halloween, there aren’t many pumpkins left but this farm proved to be an exception.
The tractor gradually came to a stop and the driver came to the back to help people out. Since you and Kirishima were the closet to the back, you two were the first ones out. Kirishima made sure to help you off of the trailer. He interlaced your fingers before pulling you into the pumpkin patch.
“What’s your game plan?” Kirishima asked softly as he pulled you into him, giving your forehead a kiss.
“I just want a decently sized pumpkin that I can carve. I’ll know it when I see it.” You responded, nuzzling into his chest a little bit.
“Well you can’t see much now.” He teased as he wrapped his arms around you tightly.
“I’m not complaining.” You whispered into his chest, “I could stay here forever.”
Kirishima smiled widely and held you even tighter, if that was even possible. He rested his chin on top of your head as you wrapped your arms around his waist. You signed contently into his chest as the two of you stayed like that for a couple minutes. You were eventually interrupted by a person walking up to you two.
“Do you guys want someone to take your picture? You two are just so cute.” A woman said, causing you to pull away from Kirishima. You looked up at him before looking at the woman.
“That would actually be great.” You said, pulling your phone out of your pocket and handing it to her. You walked back over to Kirishima with pursed lips, looking around you. You grabbed two small pumpkins and handed one to Kirishima, “Here, Kiri, to pose with.”
He nodded his head as he took the pumpkin by its stem. You held yours the same way and nuzzled yourself into Kirishima’s side. You two posed for a couple pictures, Kirishima taking the opportunity to get one of him kissing you on the cheek. You thanked the lady as she handed your phone back, meanwhile Kirishima returned the small pumpkins back to the ground.
“Aw, these are so cute.” You cooed softly, holding out your phone to show your boyfriend.
“Oh my god, babe we’re so cute. You have to send me these.” Kirishima gushed with a wide smile.
You smiled to yourself as you sent him the photo, “Come on, let’s find some pumpkins.”
~~~~~
It took you longer to find your prized pumpkin than it did for Kirishima. It wasn’t that hard for him, it stuck out like a sore thumb in the middle of the field. He ran to get it while you wandered through the patch. He came waddling back over to you as you observed a pumpkin.
“Babe look; tell me this isn’t the biggest pumpkin you’ve ever seen.” Kirishima cheered as he presented his pumpkin. You turned from your pumpkin and gasped softly.
“That’s the biggest one I’ve seen in a pumpkin patch.” You giggled softly, “So manly, holding that pumpkin with ease.”
Kirishima smiled at your words as he gently placed the pumpkin on the ground beside him. You turned back to the pumpkin you were previously inspecting.
“I think this is the one.” You mumbled to yourself, gently picking the pumpkin off the vine. You held it up to your eye level and thoroughly inspected it. There was no rotting and it seemed to be the exact size and shape you were looking for, “Kiri, this is the one.”
“We’ll the tractor is heading back this way if we’re all good.” Kirishima said, reaching down and picking his massive pumpkin back up. You nodded in response and began to make your way towards the spot where the tractor had originally dropped you off. You looked behind you to see Kirishima waddling close behind you.
You got there just as the tractor came to a stop. There were a couple people already waiting there were their selections as the new comers made their way out of the trailer. Again, you an Kirishima were the last two to get into the trailer. You needed to help pull Kirishima’s monster pumpkin up before he could take his seat next to you.
“It’s a little heavier than I expected.” Kirishima huffed as he settled into your side. He wrapped an arm around you gently and pulled you close.
The ride back was as slow as the ride there. You cuddled yourself into Kirishima a little more, as the wind had picked up slightly. The chill in the air was just slightly more present causing you to shiver. The tractor came to a jerky stop and Kirishima hesitantly pulled away from you.
He jumped out first and you carefully rolled his pumpkin to the edge of the trailer. He grabbed it as you jumped out of the trailer with your own pumpkin. You guided Kirishima to the front of the farm house so the two of you could pay for your picks.
The two of you put your pumpkins on the scale and the attendant told you the price. You went to pay but Kirishima shooed you away, paying instead. You took the pumpkins back to your car and put them into the trunk. You climbed back into the driver’s seat and waited for Kirishima to get into the car with you.
“Wasn’t that fun?” You asked softly as you gently held Kirishima’s face in your hands. He leaned into your touch with a smile.
“Yeah it was. I just love doing anything with you. You could take me to a dump and I would still have the time of my life because you would be there.” Kirishima said as he began to lean closer.
“Aw Kiri stop, I love you.” You whispered softly, connecting your lips. Kirishima tried to move as close to you as he could, placing his hand on your upper thigh.
“I love you too.” He mumbled against your lips, giving your thigh a gentle squeeze. You gasped softly into the kiss before pulling away. You could feel how hot your cheeks were getting. Kirishima looked at you with lidded eyes, keeping the distance between the two of you small.
“I think..” You trailed off as you dropped your hand from his face and grabbed the front of his shirt, “We should go home.”
“Yeah.” He mumbled in response before leaning in to kiss you again. You pulled him closer to you to close the distance between your lips. They moved effortlessly against each other, you could feel Kirishima’s hands begin to get more grabby than before. You used your grip on the front of his shirt to force him away from you. You could see a pink twinge dancing across his cheeks lightly.
“We have to go home. We have pumpkins to carve.” You hummed softly, readjusting yourself in your seat.
“And other stuff.” Kirishima retorted.
“Kirishima!”
“What? Are you going to tell me I’m wrong?”
“Help me find the keys.”
I need to apologize for my “radio silence” yesterday.
It was one of THOSE days.  You know, where everything is ‘off kilter’ but nothing is a disaster, everything finally gets done.  Just nothing going fully right.
Started night before last.  Got a call for a water haul that is the longest one among my customers.  Sent the money too.  Oh, need to go by a new route because recent rains have badly washed out the old route.  We agreed to meet at a gas station and she will guide me.
All well.  That happens out here in the desert.  Slept pretty well, actually.  Got dressed in fresh clean work clothes (that is part of this, read on!)  Sat to eat breakfast.  Phone goes off.  My shortest haul client wants two loads.  Not bad, really.  I figure, do the long haul, go straight back to town and do those two short hauls.  It is all good money.
Back to breakfast.  Not quite done when in walks my neighbor, whose hauls are always complex things.  Worse than that, he has been trying to sell his place and the people who put down a deposit started dodging him and not answering his calls.  My long haul client lives close to where they are and he really wants to get them.  They made off with a $14,000 USD front loading tractor and have been using it around their area to make about USD $100 a day!
So, he wants to ride out to Long Haul’s place to see if he can get his tractor back!   I accept giving him the ride but it drops a wrench in the works of my route plans.
Finish getting ready for the day and feeding critters.  Hitch up and, ‘High, ho! Tank trailer, on the way!  Got the water for long load and set out. Met at the gas station and away we go!  Her ex,(Who has actually destroyed THREE vehicles of hers on purpose) is driving!  He is a rotten lead driver too.  In spite of that, we do get to her place and begin filling the first tank and some water in her pig troughs.
Second sideways hit.  She wants water in a barrel  next to an old RV that has a working shower and such.  Her ex has parked her truck where I have to go to back the trailer near enough to fill said barrel.  He moves truck and starts hauling pallets over to the RV.  It has become fill FOUR barrels that aren’t all in place yet!  Organized much? NOT.
That done, I need to to move the trailer to fill other stock tanks on her farm.  She raises pigs and sells the little weanlings.  Guess where her ex put her truck?  Right.  Blocking the easy access to her stock tanks.  I was so steamed that I took the   trailer around by a bit more awkward route and put the last of the water where it belonged.
Couldn’t quite leave.  Suddenly the ones who were trying to buy my neighbor’s land and took his tractor?  Those folks?  They called him!  Seems a Sheriff’s Deputy came by their place about the tractor!  Unpleasant call results in a promise to return the tractor and cancellation of the sale.
Finally, later than planned, we are on our way back to my place instead of town.  My neighbor has to get his truck that is parked at my place!   Along the way, there is one nasty mud hole.  No water left, thank whatever little gods there be.
It has two VERY deep ruts.  The trick has always been to drive on the center and one shoulder.  My trailer slipped off the shoulder and into the ruts, dragging us with it!   Only a few feet further and we were stuck!
First thing to do was dig out  the safety chains and release them from the truck.  Next, release the hitch.  Unlocking it from the ball?  No problem.  Gotta lift the  trailer tongue about 6 or 8 inches (about 20 cm for those with a rational measure system) to get it free of the hitch on the truck.
Only took a few back and forth rocks of the truck to get going and out to solid ground.  Dug out my 50 foot (about 15 meters) tow strap and tied it to the trailer tongue and the hitch on the truck.   Freed the trailer in one pull!   Now, ALL WE GOTTA DO IS get the trailer hitch onto the truck’s ball.  First, made sure that the trailer was not going to roll back into the mud!
Got it raised by putting enough old boards and scrap steel from a previous trailer rebuild under the jack.  Had to support it part way up with a jack stand so that we could pile the stuff under the jack to get the final height.  Jockeyed the truck into place, released the jack and the tongue did not drop!  Forgot the jack stand!  Jacked it back up the tiny bit needed and pulled out the jack stand.  Then it dropped properly.  Locked the hitch and set the safety chains and we were on our way!
Got to my place.  Neighbor wanted me to haul water for two t rees on his place.   new locks.  Gave me keys and money.  Neighbor got his truck and I blasted off for town!  Got that  water haul done without a hitch, except that it was getting LATE.  My trailer is an agricultural one.  Daylight use only.  Called a friend.  Bummed parking over night for the trailer in exchange for dinner out and a shower.  Remember that mud hole?  My fresh clean work clothes?  Not any more!
One shower and another set of clean work clothes later, (luckily, my laundry was still in the truck) we set out.  Usually good Pizza place said 10 to 10 on the door.  Neon OPEN sign on and flashing.  It was only 9.  Doors locked.  We can see the whole crew inside.  Called them.  We can see them pick up.  Pointed out their  signs and facebook ad saying open.  They close early because of no customers they said.  We pointed out that there were two at their door!   While we were there two more cars drove up and drove away.  So did we.  My friend left a bad review saying good pizza, rotten service
Tried a different place a few miles away.   Go in.  Waitress says, bar open, kitchen closed.   Finally, we try Denny’s.  It is 9:24 pm.   Sign on 24 hour restaurant says they will close at 10;30!  FOOD AT LAST!
Friend otders breaded chicken.  I want the pot roast bowl.  No problem about the chicken.  They have the meat and gravy but are out of the veggies.  Ask if I can have a side veggie at no charge.  Fine. Got Broccoli.
Chicken was a bit overdone but not quite burned.  Pot roast was good with broccoli.  Went to pay.  Charged full pot roast price and full price for broccoli and mash potatoes that they put under it!  Steamed.   Left very small tip.
Back to friend’s place dropped trailer and came home.  At 11:54pm!
Today all seemed swimmingly.  Breakfast.  Charge into town!  Got trailer!   Got water!  Drove out to Neighbor’s place!   Couldn’t get in!  Wrong key!  Would not work in either gate’s lock.  Cannot get up  the hill to my place with a full load of water.  To save any of his water, I had to just dump about 300-400 gallons! (about 1500 liters).  It is beside my house waiting for Neighbor to answer his phone.  I did leave a message.
I hope that your days are being better than mine
So, without putting individuals on blast, I’d say let’s look at bare minimum expectations for price in an ethical breeding business. Caring for horses in Iceland is less expensive than in the USA, especially if the farm is up north and can send horses into the mountains to graze freely in summer, but there is still the cost to make and store hay, fuel and maintenance for the tractor to feed the horses roundbales all winter, hoof trimming, worming medicine, hours spent in the cold checking on and caring for the mares and young stock, etc. Let’s say bare minimum $1,000 USD per year for the mare to just eat and hang out on the farm, which I think is a low estimate, but tbh I don’t have a farm in Iceland so I’m kind of pulling these numbers out of nowhere / based on what I’ve seen.
(To be clear, for the purpose of this response I’ll just quickly mention that I do own a mare in Iceland who I board at a famous breeding farm and with the help of my friends there I have been able to produce a few foals which I have then exported for myself to train here in the US, so I do know a bit of what I’m talking about and the costs associated even though I am not able to speak for what costs are for every farm in Iceland of course!!).
When I breed to good stallions in Iceland, stud fees generally range from $800-$1200, so let’s say $1,000 for the sake of this, because you hope a good stallion is being used and because there’s also fuel and time to trailer the mare to the stud and back again, and even if the breeder owns the stud, there are care hours and needs associated with that which would have to be compensated somewhere. Then we have to ultrasound the mare, trailer her to the clinic for that, etc. Some people in Iceland skip this step. I sure wouldn’t, for health and safety reasons. So let’s add maybe $500 for healthcare for the mare for the year she’s pregnant, because other things might come up over the year and also because you hope someone is going out to check on her regularly and trim her hooves, float her teeth, meet her needs etc. and that requires time and compensation. So bare minimum, our pregnancy is now up to $2500 USD. The foal isn’t born yet. When the foal hits the ground, the little one also needs to be checked over, be microchipped and registered, have hooves trimmed, be wormed, etc., and once the short summer months end little guy will also be eating hay as well as nursing. The foal should stay with mama for the better part of the first year, so let’s say $1,000 for the foal to just live and hang out until weaned. Meanwhile, another year passes for the mare, so you need that $1,000 for her to live too, while she nurses your foal and just exists. But if you’ve been SOLD a foal, and you don’t live in Iceland, well, surely you’re expecting that the foal can wear a halter and be led, be comfortable enough to be handled for transport, etc., so that requires training. Training requires stabling - your foal will at least temporarily take up a box in a training stable, take up hay in the training stable, take up hours from the trainer, etc. This all requires fuel and transport back and forth, skilled labor, etc. So add maybe $500, very lowball estimate, for that to be fair for everyone.
So your halter-broke weanling, at time of export, should probably cost at least about $4,500 USD in order for your good, ethical breeder to just BREAK EVEN. Not profit. Just break even on all they’ve done to care for the mare, pregnancy, birth, and foal.
Now, sure. Some breeders don’t trim hooves. Some skip on all kinds of basic care stuff. That may lower prices but again, we were discussing trying to support ethical breeders, so hopefully we are factoring in those services in production of these foals, right? That’s why most good breeders don’t want to sell foals. They want to raise and train and produce the horses so that they can fairly sell them at enough of a price to actually profit on what they’ve put into raising the horse. Otherwise, the whole operation just loses money.
So my 2 cents is that if you’re looking around on Instagram and seeing spectacularly colored foals offered for sale for like $500 USD…… someone is either taking a MAJOR loss on that business model, or they’re skipping out on the kind of care you’d probably hope to see, or the money is coming from somewhere else that you’re not seeing - or maybe a combination of all of the above. OR there is something wrong with the horse and they just really want to get rid of it and have it not be their problem anymore.
That’s my feeling, of course I’m sure there are exceptions and if you’ve got friends in Iceland people may be able to do things for less to help you out etc but yeah…. Horses use resources just by existing and somehow those resources have to get covered.
(This discussion is in response to this post for those wondering: https://madrivervalleyicelandics.tumblr.com/post/668734607642034176/the-board-of-ft-has-spoken-out-i-also-learned )
Pass the happy! 🌻 When you receive this, list five things that make you happy and send it to the last ten people in your notifications!
So my sister and I were legitimately discussing making a Wonderful!-style podcast where we just talked exclusively about abstract things that we enjoy, but it ended up not happening (good audio quality is expensive y'all!), so I have a pretty good list already prepared for this one. Also, I read this the wrong way around and thought it was 10 things and 5 passing-ons, so... whoops.
(I am also not great at picking people to pass things on to, but if you would like to write about stuff that makes you happy, you absolutely should.)
1. Mundane secret passages. Do you have access to an ancient castle or some catacombs? I sure don't. What I do have though is a shortcut from the liquor store I work at to the supermarket where I buy snacks in my tea break! It is mainly used for getting shopping trolleys in from the carpark, and is barely used, so it absolutely counts as a secret passage. Also, it has automatic swinging doors, which feels magical as fuck. I always make a point to say thankyou to them, just in case it is actually a fairy or a sprite making them open.
2. Having the right amount of something. I feel this one the most when the bobbin on my sewing machine feeds out the last little bit of thread as I am going to cut it. It is just, such a good feeling. But also like, having a piece of fabric that is just the right size, or having exactly enough eggs to make the recipe, or when you finish a meal and are perfectly full but not so full you feel sick.
3. Unusually coloured cars. A bright yellow car? That is tight as hell. One with a pretty foil wrap? I will be remembering it fondly for months.
4. An unexpectedly warm spot. When you walk past a store and a gust of warm air comes out? That's that good shit. The secret passage I mentioned in the first thing has about 20 metres of cozy warmth, and few things can top finding the hot water vent in a just-warm swimming pool. (Also applies for unexpectedly cool spots on a hot day.)
5. Making toilet puns about the names of the towns you are stopping at during roadtrips. Here are a few towns in South Australia with added toilet puns. Coonalpyn/Coonalpooin'. Padthaway/Padthawee. Pinnaroo/Pinnaloo. Loxton/Looxton. Port Pirie/Port Peerie. Willalooka/doesn't need changing because it is right in there, but you can also say Weellalooka if you really want. I base my toilet stops on if I can text these puns to the groupchat. All my friends secretly hate me because of it.
6. When clouds look like mountains on the horizon. I love anything that brings a bit of difference to an otherwise flat vista, but the mountains where I live are just too damn small. I want to feel the immensity of the earth towering over me, and if I cannot have that, then some really big clouds that at least look that way will have to do.
7. When you see a truck with something really big on the back of it. I once saw a convoy of trucks carrying houses, which was cool, but I have a soft spot for trucks carrying improbably big farming equipment. Harvesters are absolutely huge, and as someone who grew up around tractors, I love seeing them get a piggyback ride down the highway. But nothing compares to the time that they had to shut the highway through our town for 3 hours every week while they were transporting the parts for some windmills they were building along the coast. They actually use the parts to connect the truck to the trailer, because the semi-trailer trailers are not long enough. It is just so cool to watch something so impossibly huge try to go through a roundabout.
8. When you need to buy something specific at short notice, and it is on sale. This works in small scale, like when you are out of your favourite chips but they are half price at the supermarket this week, but also when your sister is very drunk and decides to go for a swim and you have to rescue her but your phone is in your pocket and it dies a horrible death, but the S20FE is on presale and you get it on you existing phone plan for $300 less than RRP and you get free headphones.
9. Finding someone who knows the same obscure music as you do. I listen mainly to Dad music, which like, okay, lots of people do that, but any time I find anyone who knows anything by Dr Hook I will immediately begin annoying the shit out of them, because I think that Cover Of The Rolling Stone is the best karaoke song there is but the only friends who will sing it with me live between 5 and 7 hours away, but if I can convince this random person to be my best friend then they will have to sing it with me.
10. When a wild animal has decided that you're chill. Tell me a better feeling than this. You simply can't. Sure, it is pretty cool when a strange dog comes up to say hi, but that is what dogs do. No, that good good shit is when the birds with the nest in the tree out your front door come down and land at your feet when you get home. When you are chilling in the backyard and a blue-tongue lizard just wanders up. When you go to your shack at the river and there is just a koala hanging out there, for some reason. They think your vibes are good. They are the best judge of good vibes. This is the best day of your life.
You need to know about different types of trucks so that you know which type of vehicle you want to take from one of these Canadian tracking companies, below are the most common types:
Trucks – These things vary in design, size and capacity. These can come in the form of regular family vehicles or large, terrifying transports that can carry several thousand pounds of heavy things. There are toy trucks, flatbed trucks, pickup trucks and many more assortments. An 18-wheeler truck can carry a legal weight of 80,000 pounds.
Trailers – Trailer trucks have been named because of their considerable discretionary features and it is the trailers attached behind them that can be happily opened and removed when ready and are usually made for transportation. These items also come in a variety of sizes and are usually used by small traders for daily delivery of goods and items that are most limited to the closed space of the trailer. Although the carrying capacity of trailers can be complicated, make sure you know the strategy to avoid bad incidents.
Now that you know what kinds of trucks are involved with your heavy concern, we can move on to the next steps that should be considered when choosing a tracking agency for hiring:
Rate / Price – To recoup what you have spent, we recommend looking for a company that has been in business for a long time because they know what to do and what to do. So there is no waste of money. Also, be sure to ask for discounts and promotions, especially if you are asking for large shipment.
Expert / Experience – With this component, there is little risk of error when the company is handling your items, Hawks committed to this matter. Our experts have many years of experience with errors and they know how to avoid errors and how to deal with them properly without inconvenience.
Quality of service – Top tracking companies need to have a very good reputation for their services when searching. That fame the Hawks have gained. The fact that tracking companies are good is an indication of how many services they are providing, how sound-looking their fleet is, and how large their manpower is in better client interactions.
Insurance / License – All tracking agencies in Canada must comply with the legal requirements and insurance to be able to operate freight services to the public. You need to make sure that the company you are considering complies with these things. Especially if the products you want to handle can be considered dangerous, they have specific credentials to be able to carry such things.
Tracking -Technologies – You need to know where and when your items need to reach their destination. Find a tracking company that provides this feature to enable you to know the location of your products in real time.
Finding Canada’s best tracking companies is not so easy with the internet and how keen companies are nowadays to be transparent with their success and services. Whatever your concerns and needs, there is always a solution. Tracking agencies are the solution to our transportation problems that will not be able to operate and manage regular vehicles. How Can I Choose The Right Size Carport
Carport sizes range from single carports to triple wide car carports, depending on the depth. Single carports are generally sufficient to house a single car, two carriages carry two vehicles, and three carports accommodate three carriages. Of course, you would like to use your metal carport for anything other than to save a truck. If so, you would want to apply the total amount of feet you would want to occupy to find the carport size you like for your purposes.
Things To Keep In Mind Before Choosing Carport For Your Vehicles
Single Carports
12 foot deep single carports, suitable for most individual cars. You might want to grow in size, though, if you choose to store trailers, RVs, or cars on a single carport, as managing a big truck in the small front of a car can be challenging.
Double Carports
You may not be aware that double carports between 18 and 24 feet high everywhere. A two-car carport may be used to store two vehicles or a big leisure car. While a two-carport 18 foot wide can hold up to two small cars, a larger double carriage is ordinarily advisable to carry anything more extraordinary than two small cars. Take all vehicles and take into consideration how much room you need to enter or leave the vehicle on both sides to decide how much room you need.
Triple Carports
Another type of carports is the triple carports. These types of carports are usually 26 to 30 feet wide and offer you enormous space to store your vehicles, such as two or three big vehicles you can store in your triple carport, including boats and tractors.
Your Vehicle's Height (s)
Another factor that influences your carport scale is the height of your sedan. Proper analysis of height guarantees that the car has sufficient clearance. For the majority of carports, the normal height measurement is 12 feet, and most regular vehicles can be easily accommodated in carports of that height. But you'd be smart to make the metal carp a little taller if you own a larger car, such as a truck or RV, somewhat elongated in the middle of the carpet. This avoids damage to the vehicle due to the impact of the carport roof.
Metal Carports Roof Style
You have specific options for metal carports in the roof range,
Standard Roof RV cover-: The main feature of the regular type unit is that it provides shelter and that the advantage is it is quite cheap. Due to the bend transition on the hips, there is less work in the unit and no eave side trim, no ridge cover, no chains making it the cheapest company we have.
Boxing Eave Roof RV Covers-: The boxing unit looks like a house roofline or a shaped unit, but it has horizontal ceiling panels. There is no canal or cap on the ridge. The finish consists of a smaller L-trim, and the side trimming of our units is flush. Any manufacturers do not have horizontal roof panels on the A-Frame. The advantage of this unit is that you can own an A-Frame carport for less than the price of the vertical roof.
