Woah, it's Pokemon Trainer Super Nerd from the popular game Pokemon Crystal!

(I really like a lot of the game sprites in Gold/Silver/Crystal, they do so much with so little in terms of small details/poses with the limited pixels and colors, and it just came to me that the Super Nerd pose is PERFECT for Simmons, so I did a little edit of the Super Nerd, but with Simmons' colors, and changed a few things like the hair~)

You're definitely right, I should! I will say, when I was writing these headcanons, I kind of went a bit overboard so I'm doing five headcanons for Twisting Tiger and Riano. I did also add a couple of headcanons at the end that includes my fan team, the Silver Lions FC, since it did come to mind when writing these out. I'll put those under a Read More though, just so this doesn't get as long as it is now. @h3art-v1n

Twisting Tiger

The grandmother that he mentions in Rookie Season is not his biological grandmother. I’m still a believer of him, Inyo and Miko growing up in an orphanage together, as shown in the comics, and I headcanon that he did eventually get adopted, but by an older woman who he considers his grandmother. She’s a fitness trainer, hence the abs thing

His favorite colour is green, associating it with nature and growth. He had to learn a lot after being adopted by his grandmother, and he was drawn to the color green because of the bandana she would always wear. She made him his own bandana before he left Japan to join Supa Strikas, and he keeps it in his closet for safe keeping.

Tiger has a sweet tooth. Aside from chocolate croissants being one of his favorites to eat, he also likes strawberry shortcake, mochi, strawberry and cherry dangos, and daifuku.

Tiger has always wanted to try and foster cats or dogs, but never really had a chance to because of his job. He was encouraged by his teammates to go for it, and he ended up fostering a nine-year old cat he named Yuki. Tiger was drawn to her because of how she was surrendered to the shelter, but no one wanted to take her in. Just like how it was for Tiger until he was adopted at the age of sixteen by his grandmother. So, he hopes he can give Yuki a better life than being in the shelter, just like what happened to him.

Tiger is the king of dance, at least on his dance pads. You might see him in the mall arcade playing the those kinds of games, with kids playing alongside him. He holds the record on almost all the songs on at least two dance machines.

Riano

The man is very humble, to the point that he’s got no secrets to hide. If he’s got secrets, they’re pretty tame and only the kind that would make him look “lame” to a majority of his fans. Like, his love for a children’s book series he grew up with, which is still going on to this day. A lot of fans like seeing him as the really cool, hot, and very charming football player he is, but there are times when he would like to nerd out about some of his interests.

Whenever Barka and Supa Strikas meet up, Riano and El Matador are always chatting away in Spanish, whether it be about some random topic or gossip within the Super League. Riano would never spread a rumor about someone, and usually scolds those who do, especially if said rumors are aimed to hurt the person they are targeting. He only participates in the gossip to see what’s going on with his fellow League players.

He used to dye his hair different colours when he was a teen, but settled on the purple when he first joined Barka. He had meant to remove it, but it became a part of his image when he played beautifully in his first few games, he decided to keep the streaks.

Riano keeps in touch with his family, and they’re a very large family. He always gets them gifts from the places he and his team go to, plays with his little cousins, nieces and nephews, and always engages in conversation with the parents, aunts, uncles, and his grandparents. However, when everything gets too much, he just heads to his older sister’s place, which is pretty much away from the hustle and bustle of the city, and crashes there for a night or two. She doesn’t mind, as she is an introvert compared to Riano, but appreciates it that her brother does come to visit from time to time.

Every two weeks, Riano treats his team to a Sunday brunch at a restaurant that he usually frequents, and the owner knows him very well. They get a discount on the bill if they win two games before the brunch, a small deal Riano made with the owner after the owner joked that his team couldn’t win back to back games during a drought they had. So far, the owner hasn’t gone back on the deal and has even made small compromises when they’ve won one game but lost the second one.

Bonus headcanons – Silver Lions FC Edition

 It may come as a surprise, but Riano did doubt the Silver Lions when the club rejoined the Super League. For Riano, his doubt stemmed from how everyone was hyping up the team, despite the fact that most of the players on the team never had any football experience, except the returning veterans. He thought they would treat the game like a joke and not take it seriously, but then he saw how they played their second game against them with precision and how they were able to adapt to their different move sets.

He also had doubts about the team for how they would respond in interviews, seeing their answers as maybe too much for the fans. But he was shocked to learn that a majority of the Super League fans actually liked the brutal honesty that came from the Silver Lions; a breath of fresh air is what many fans had said about them.

Riano would later apologize to both Oliver and Trent on how he first viewed them and their team, and they apologized in return for rushing to assume that Riano was like the other players they’ve met. Always judging them while hiding it under his charming looks and personality. Seeing as all three captains all had the same idea of what they thought the other team was like, Riano invited them and their team for brunch, to show no hard feelings between each team. In return, the Silver Lions invited Barka to the restaurant/pub they go to celebrate special events, including brunch.

From time to time, Riano will spend time with the captains, but he also has formed a friendship with their reserve defender, Flint Martinez, and his boyfriend who is one of the main defenders, Hale Pagaduan. Riano took interest in Flint after watching him perform with his underground band, and found that he and Hale could relate to each other about having big families and having such high expectations put on them by their families. When the three are together, they're usually seen running in the park with some other Barka FC players and talking about anything that has been happening in the world or within the Super League.

Twisting Tiger wasn't sure if he would even get along with any of the Silver Lions players, but suddenly found himself being followed by one of the smaller players of the team, Mica Bailey. He's one of the main strikers of the team and is cousins to Sean Bailey, one of the main midfielders of the team. Tiger is unsure why Mica has taken a liking to him, but he is able to have Sean interpret whatever Mica wants to tell him, as Mica is mute and communicates in both ASL and BSL.

Oddly enough, Tiger has a rivalry with both Bailey cousins but in different ways. With Mica, he sometimes has a hard time getting the ball to one of his strikers, as the Silver Lions player is quick to intercept and take it back up the field towards the Supa Strikas' goal. With Sean, anytime that Tiger does his Twisting Tornado, Sean is able to take the ball away from Tiger and initiate his own move his team have dubbed as The Irish Storm. The move consists of Sean running around the Supa Strikas midfielders in an infinity loop, moving so fast that it's hard to keep track of him. But the reason he does this is to allow one of the Silver Lions players to blend in while he runs, and take advantage of when Sean passes the ball to them. While he is not always successful in taking the ball from Tiger, he usually marks him when they're on the field.

Despite this, Tiger finds he enjoys the company of the Bailey cousins a lot, especially with watching Sean getting angry about something, and Mica signing things to get his cousin even more angry. Tiger has been teaching himself how to sign ASL to better communicate with Mica, and has been able to find a common ground between him and Sean in the form of model cars. Sean used to be a race car driver, but left the sport to focus on being a mechanic for his own workshop, collecting the little model cars when he can.

Tiger has also found some common ground with the main goalie of the Silver Lions, Fritz Germane, with the two of them being orphans when they were both younger, but having found a family later on. He sometimes goes to the much older goalie to hear how he was adopted and what his life was like with them.

Another year Another summary of Art! An Entire Year of Submas lets gooooooooooo!!!! This year I feel like I really pushed myself when it comes to illustrations and I feel like I've learned a lot! But at the same time I feel a little tired, next year I think I wanna relax and experiment a bit more, I gotta learn to loosen up! Might get more art out if I do :p

I also feel the Submas grip ever so lightly relaxing (unless they decide to do Unova remakes haha XD), so I might introduce some of my numerous ocs in 2024! I'll probably start with the conductor oc ;]

Lunch Break

hoho! This one is the sort of AU thing in which the only thing that changes is that I give Emmet a Victini friend (not a part of his team, I dubbed them the "victory duo" because Emmet likes winning and Victini is the Victory Pokemon), I planned out a few wordless comics regarding the idea, they were all very lighthearted slice of life kind of stuff, usually Victini causing some mischief and the brothers having to deal with it

and here's the thumbnails for this piece! I played around with various angles but decided to keep it simple and choose a straight on angle. It was originally a snack break and Emmet sharing a granola bar with Victini, but as I was planning it, submas unexpectedly showed up in the Pokemon Anime where they were serving ekiben, after learning about it it quickly turned into a lunch break! (how fun when new information lines up with an art piece you are working on hoho! ^ ^) After studying what foods Ekiben usually have in them (there was quite a variety!) I took what I learned and try to make the food look like the gear station logo :D

In the background there are children drawings because in the battle subway one of the trainer classes you can face off against are preschoolers, and I thought at least one of them would share their drawings with the subway bosses (and of course why wouldn't they hang it up?), there is also a trophy in which you can get in the players room if you beat the subway bosses on the super trains (one day, battling competitively is not my forte), I did my best to make Emmet's office feel lived in by adding a little bit of clutter (like adding a note) but overall very organized

Bonus Emmet and Victini Drawings

aw come on dude, not on the trains!

ah this one, it gave me quite a bit of frustration! This piece I used to challenge myself on perspective, and challenge me it did! The version you see now is I believe the 6th iteration of this drawing! The reason for restarting so many times is because I originally wanted it to be in 3 point perspective, but I couldn't get it to look right so its now in 2 point... Haha Some valuable lessons learned there!

This illustration was inspired by the history of New York Subway Trains and Graffiti! I read about it when I got to visit the New York Transit Museum and found it super interesting!! Then I went I gotta do something with this! Since Unova is based in New York after all!

I got so many subway surfer comments, they don’t know I forgot subway surfers existed while making this and that I am a huge nerd lmao

I had a lot of fun designing the graffiti on the train (yes it says among us) stylizing the fictional letters was so fun! I studied some graffiti to see how they do it, I could've pushed the graffiti style more but then it would be illegible! I also mixed in elements of Grafaiai graffiti, and trainer that is running away is the artist trainer class in SCVL because they are graffiti artists! And the train that got graffitied is the Wifi Train, due to BW (and the DS) servers being shut down, I doubt that train gets used much anymore, which makes it a perfect target!

Derailed!

hohoho! This was a fun one! I'm not sure how many of you guys read my tags, but in there I did state that this piece was based off the fact that model trains are powered by electrifying the rail it runs on (very low watts mind you) and the fact that Joltik eats electricity, but thats not the only inspiration, it was also inspired by those videos of cats laying on the layout and derailing the train!

Theres quite a variety of thumbnails for this idea (including a comic!), and the idea was there in 2022, but this year I decided to fully commit to it! I started rendering the top right one and almost finished it, but it felt really boring to me, so I switched it up and made some thumbnails in a new perspective and viola! thats what ended up being finished!

The train that is being derailed are Sanriku Railway Type 36s, based off a model train I have in my collection! (While sharing this fact on the original post Haiku Bot detected it as a Haiku?! and this art went out of my target audience, that certainly was a day (⊙□⊙;))

Also I straight up put a picture of Thomas the Tank Engine in the background, I'm not sure if people noticed cuz its quite blurry, the fact that nobody said anything means I probably would’ve gotten away with it before sharing this fact, so hehe :3c

Unexplained Melancholy

eyy! this one! It started out wholly different

It was originally me dropping Warden Ingo in various natural landscapes around Hisui as I didn't feel like drawing anymore linear perspective (ah, but heres the thing, all environments require a little bit of perspective lol), and it was just going to be Warden Ingo hanging out in a lush forest, specifically by the train rock that was shown in his concept art! but after sitting on it, I realized I could do something more with it! by making it a snowy environment I could make callbacks to Emmet's coat being white! hence the "SNOWY!!!" being scribbled there, that was added like weeks afterwards, Then I realized I could push it even more by making the whole environment about Emmet's colors! So the new thumbnail is in color because thats whats its about!

The moon smile thing was stumbled on by complete accident, while working on it it felt empty there and I added Emmet's smile to fill the space before going "moon!!!"

The piece is also a sort of a parallel to last years piece “I am Emmet, I wish for Ingo and I to be a two-car train once more” composition wise, sort of, I tried to at least 👍

Black Tower and Whitetree Hollow

Ah! I was quite proud of this one! Black City and White Forest are some of my favorite places in Unova mainly because the parallels are so very cool!

As the thumbnails suggest it was all going to be in complete black and white, as I was working on it though I could not help but add some values in there so yup! I quite like both compositions but the perspective won me out, plus that one focuses more on the characters than the other one (as much as I love backgrounds, it really is supposed to be about Emmet and Ingo U_U)

Being places of duality and having a battle challenge in there, it really fit them!

Not really much to say about this one since it was very much done on a whim, but

its not the first time I drew Emmet with his hat backwards, I did this little doodle around the same time I did the train graffiti piece, been wanting to do something with this silly idea, and when I heard that audio, I went :o

Following Some Rumors of a Time Machine

the finale! I decided to choose Area Zero because its a very cool place! I am inspired by cool places! and I decided to give it my all for this one!

The thumbnail I made was more for jotting down the idea, and the landscape was going to be more eyelevel? Later I decided to make it so you were looking down into the crater and you get to see the fog blocking the crystal caverns, to show that Emmet was going deeper into Area Zero and the Deepest part is his destination (the time machine, not the underdepths, I didn't know about that yet haha!) I was always going to make Emmet encounter a Slither Wing, with it being based off Volcarona, a gen 5 pokemon :]

Okay so months ago I made a post asking if anyone would want to see a thing I did where I assigned Pokemon to random Bioshock characters, and even tho a lot of y'all said yes I never followed up on it because that was only a little while before I fell out of Bioshock so I just tried to pretend it didn't exist... UNTIL NOW!!!

A lot of these don't go any deeper than, at least in terms of the Pokemons design and psychical body language (personality), "Because I Just Think It Fits Them." There is some clever stuff here but none of it is super deep.. and as you all know I'm no expert on Bioshock 2 and some other characters like Yi Suchong so my perception of what I think they're like may be flawed, so sorry if it's disappointing in that aspect

I don't want to explain my exact thought process for every single one of these because it'd be exhausting and it'd ruin a lot of the subtlety but I will explain more of the niche references or things that make no sense at first glance, like things you would only understand if you read the Pokemon in questions Pokedex entries, because I'm aware most of you aren't complete nerds like me (btw if you don't know, "ace" in Pokemon terms means the head and/or strongest Pokemon in a trainers team, you're gonna see that word a lot)

Kingambit is to me the PERFECT Pokemon for Andrew Ryan like there isn't a single one that fits better. The way these are set up aren't necessarily saying which order which Pokemon is sent out, ace Pokemon most often go last or second to last, but Kingambit specifically goes last in Andrew's team because I imagine his Kingambit would have the ability Supreme Overlord, an ability that stacks the Pokemons ATK & spATK by 10% whenever an ally Pokemon faints. I'm not going to give actual competitive movesets for each character or even just a select few because that would literally take me hours but that was my thought process. Also shiny because why wouldn't the king of Rapture have a shiny?

Jasmine gets Mega Diancie because I just think she would and also because she deserves it. She's been through so much just let her have this one thing. Lilligant and Vivillon are there specifically because they can learn the move quiver dance, a reference to her being a dancer. I made her Vivillon the Polar Pattern to stand as a reference to the headcanon that she's Swedish (Vivillon is a Pokemon whose design changes based on where you are in the world, and the Polar Pattern appears in Sweden)

Brigids team looks ridiculous at first glance but the idea was that each Pokemon except for the last two are Pokemon that are good with kids or have an emphasis on motherhood (Kangaskhan), meanwhile Rhyperior and Kingdra are there so she can actually have some kind of firepower. This is one of the more flawed teams though I'm not fully satisfied with it. Yi Suchongs team really isn't that good either, I couldn't think of much for him, sorry... </3

Side characters/less important characters get teams of three or one, or if I just couldn't think of giving them any more. Steinmans team is like that as a reference to how he acts, I took the idea of him being obsessed with making his (most often female iirc) patients beautiful, so I gave him "beautiful" (shiny) female Pokemon. The fact his Gardevoir can mega evolve doesn't really matter but if I was gonna introduce the concept of megas here, then sure he can have a mega too. Not really fully satisfied with Peach's team but it's serviceable I guess. Julie has a bit more thought though. Florges was THE Pokemon for her, Tsareena is there Because Grass Type but she has a Galvantula because I'd imagine she'd use it to get rid of any pesky bugs among her trees or something like that.

Sander Cohens team requires no explanation but Anna's contrasts him interestingly. Her ace Araquanid counters his Volcarona (water/bug>fire/bug) and has an Oricorio too, but a different style than his. Also has a Decidueye to parallel with his Primarina. Most of the Disciples are obvious, (Kyle has a Noivern because it's a sound-based Pokemon and he plays an instrument) but Hectors Great Tusk was based entirely off the headcanon Kluski made that his favorite animals are elephants and I liked that (the idea was given to me by Yuro-skell though). Now that I look back, Alolan Muk would have worked for him but Great Tusk is infinitely cooler

Here's when it gets a bit more complex: Sofia and Eleanors teams are built in a way where I do think the respective Pokemon *fit* them, but they're specifically made to where all of Sofias Pokemon counters Eleanors (dark>psychic, ice>grass, grass>water, bug>dark, fire>bug, fighting>normal.) The fact Eleanor specifically has an unevolved Eevee is representative of how Subject Deltas actions inspire Eleanor. If you get a good ending, the Eevee evolves into a Sylveon, and if you get a bad or neutral ending, it evolves into a Jolteon

Augustus Sinclair's team is entirely based off of "because I think he'd have them" really. I know that's disappointing but I was satisfied with it and I couldn't really be bothered to change it. Not all of these are gonna be clever, I just FEEL like he'd have a Gallade ya know. Also forgot to include it but the Gallade can mega evolve

No Stanley here sorry. That's not motivated by how I dislike him, its mostly just because I know I wouldn't be able to think of anything... Grace has a Lapras, Altaria and Meloetta as a reference to how she's a singer, to which all three of those Pokemon can learn the move sing, and iirc also perish song? At least I know Lapras and Altaria can. Simon having an Omastar as an ace is a Pokemon community inside joke lol. I do still overall think it fits him through. Alexander The Greats team is by far one of the ones I'm the most satisfied with. (This is specifically spliced Gil btw not normal Gil) I think his team is perfect and fits his personality so well. His Rotom-Wash is shiny because of the color scheme actually. Whenever I think of Fontaine Futuristics, at least the place by Gils tank, I think of a very dangerous looking red, and Rotom-Wash fits the bill for that color perfectly

Charles has a Spiritomb because in its lore, Spiritomb is a collective, almost hivemind vortex of 108 dead peoples souls trapped inside it, and yes I know this is a stretch, it kind of reminded me of how he used The Thinker to imitate a dead person, so in a symbolic metaphorical sense, Pearls soul kind of lives on inside The Thinker? Hate to explain this one but like I said it's so niche and specific I don't think anyone would get it if I didn't explain it. The reason why his Toucannon is shiny is a joke I'm not gonna explain, just google "shiny Toucannon" and you'll immediately get it lol. Charles and Reed's team parallel each other a bit too: both of them having birds with Toucannon and Xatu, both of them having Paradox Pokemon, both of them having a gen 4 starter, both of them having an Eeveelution. Not really satisfied with the Eeveelution part at all but these two were the hardest for me to put together and I just wanted to get it over with. WHATEVER it's FINE

BONUS ROUND!!! If you thought I wasn't gonna include the Multiplayer characters you are sorrowly mistaken my friend... they all only get one but I put some thought into them. Barbara has a Marowak to the reference of how Cubones mourn the loss of their mothers (the mothers being Marowaks), so I thought her having a Marowak would represent her grief as a mother who lost her daughter. Buck has a G-Max Meowth in particular because it has the move "G-Max Gold Rush", a move that does damage and scatters coins across the ground, where the coins get picked up after the battle, as an obvious reference to him being a rich businessman. Blanche has a Lurantis as a symbolic reprentation of her personality: beautiful at a distance but deadly up close. Oscar has a Luxray because he canonically has cats. Luxray is a big cat. So I gave him Luxray. Yeah

CALEB BUDDE | SOUL SEER

The first member of the Power Pills. He's shy, awkward, and is somehow the unofficial leader of the Power Pills. Mostly everyone looks to him to make the final call on stuff because he's been around the longest.

GUY FOUST

Caleb's roommate and best friend. Went with Caleb during his first superhero mission and got physically shot while there.

KATE DHANANI

A friend of Guy's who eventually became a friend of Caleb's. She's the martial arts trainer for the Power Pills.

AVERY RODRIGUEZ

The first supervillain created by Future Tech. He's 16 years old and was given to Future Tech as an experiment by his parents in exchange for promotions.

TRAVIS BIRMAN

Guy's childhood friend and Merri's boyfriend. He's just the only friend character who doesn't know that his friend is a superhero.

TEAM WAX GUISE

DAN WIRSCH | WAX GUISE

The second member of the Power Pills. He's the literal embodiment of a theater kid. Despite his energetic and carefree attitude, he's one of the smartest members of the team.

JASON KENDI

Jason is Dan's roommate and the go-to costume designer for the Power Pills. He's a MASSIVE nerd and loves doing closet cosplay. He seems to have some kind of connection to Lightbringer.

LUCY CIPHER

The manager (and drum player) of Dan's band. She matches him in energy and personality.

NICO HYLAND

Lucy's fiancee and the keyboardist for Dan's band. He's the type to sit back and listen to Lucy's energetic ramblings for hours.

MAX ARMIJO

Dan's second roommate and lead guitarist for Dan's band. He's a more successful actor than Dan and does his best to help Dan get roles.

TEAM BULLETPROOF

MERRI BODKIN | BULLETPROOF

The third member of the Power Pills. She's a sweet-hearted individual with boundless optimism. She's the heart of the group. However a lot of her personality DOES come from the fact that she's a Catholic and her suppressed frustration tends to come out when she's fighting as Bulletproof in the form of a SUPER brutal fighting style.

AMBER LUPE

One of Merri's best friends. She is just as kind and sweet as Merri, but much less energetic.

PERCY VAN STONE

Merri's foil. She is energetic, she is bold, she loves everything Merri hates.

TEAM QUICKWIT

KRISTY EDA | QUICKWIT

The fourth member of the Power Pills and the resident "basically normal guy but with a bow" of the team. She's an independent artist trying to make it in the art world.

GEMMA VOSS

The sculptor to Kristy's painter. She has almost no shame and has no problems both speaking and acting her mind.

JAKE WESTLAKE

Probably also an artist of some kind but we haven't seen them do any sort of art so I'm not sure. They're relentlessly supportive of their friends.

TEAM STREAMLINE

Hahaaaa oh god sorry, Tate.

TATE PALMER | STREAMLINE

Tate is the fifth member of the Power Pills as well as the most energetic. She's a massive cosplayer and makes her living selling her work online.

SIBYL DEMIR | THE WEB

Sibyl is the sixth and newest member of the Power Pills. He's the resident scientist, studying biology. He's been through a lot, but once he settles into a network of supporting friends, he reveals that he is a a snarky, strong-willed man.

SEBASTIAN CROWL

A superpowered cult member who saved Sibyl and Caleb's lives when they were captured. He sacrificed himself to help the two of them escape. His status is unknown though he reassured Sibyl that the cult wouldn't kill him.

BENNY O'KEEFE

Benny is Sibyl's biology teacher and is the person who helped Sibyl through the darkest moment of his life.

VINNY RAMONE

Not seen onscreen, but he's Sibyl's ex.

JENNA BEGER

Sibyl's childhood friend who tried to trade away his life in order to join The Cult of Lacrima. Her status is also unknown.

TEAM ███████

MATT NOTTON

The recipient of the Pink Pill who needs to be put on a GODDAMN LEASH. The only pill candidate who decided to use their powers for selfish reasons.

DAMIEN BRIDGES

A man that Matt kidnapped in an attempt to learn how to control his powers. He's... god he's still there.

DALTON RENTFRO

Matt's teammate and a MASSIVE Matt hater.

OTHERS

The person who gives out the pills to the candidates. He's stoic but generally friendly.

Only called "Scarecrow Lady" in comic so far, this is the woman who broke into Merri's dressing room in book 3 trying to kidnap her. Caleb erased her memory of their identities but she hinted that she had something "Way better" than her memories.

LONDON KURTZ

A mean girl who peeked in high school. She is obsessed with status.

PHYLLIS WORRALL

One of London's obligatory lackeys. The other of which, Lilith, apparently left London very recently for unknown reasons and has not been seen onscreen.

KRAVEN GREEVES

The owner of the martial arts dojo that the Power Pills train at. He knows what's going on with the superheroes, but he knows it's not his place to say anything.

the duality of raising litwick (or, gee chandelure why does gamefreak let you have 2 important trainers)

my personal hcs on ingo and shauntal's respective partners! they're both super pampered, even a bit spoilt, and it shows in different ways. one is a bit fussy, prim and self-centred, loving the spotlight. the other is just incredibly toxic.

i think their trainers would be good friends, the kind who hang around being goth nerds together with their baby murder candles. whenever shauntal needs to research on trains for her stories, she just has to ask ingo a simple question, who will proceed to write her a 10-page essay about the specific topic and 20 extra pages about other things of note. in return, when they grow up and get their respective jobs, the battle subway is mentioned a lot, in passing or otherwise, in shauntal's published works. among them is a short story cult classic titled The Time I Provoked 2 Gods Because It Was Funny (The Train Was Completely Fine Somehow).

(i do have an extremely self-indulgent drawing of baby shauntal in the same vein as my previous drawings that i'm slightly unsure on posting just yet... maybe tomorrow, maybe never, idk)
