Compilation of my Elden Ring Tarnished OC, Silfr + some Lore info for new followers because of my last post! :'D

Silfr, the Dragonblooded | No Pronouns (Just use Silfr or Tarnished, Silfr responds to both!) | 7'4" Tall

A tall, towering, silent figure that stalks the dim halls of Roundtable and other places that Tarnished gather, Silfr is not one to make friends or forge close alliances.

The puffs of smokes between breaths when others catch Silfr lowering the mask to speak softly to the blacksmiths, the oddly slitted pupil peering out from behind the dark hood, Silfr gained the nickname of "Dragonblooded" through such strange mannerisms and features, with whispers of partaking in Dragon Communion being a suspected idea of such oddities, though the truth is something far darker, that Silfr keeps tucked deep away out of sight.

Character Notes + Lore Details Below:

Silfr is selective mute, very rarely speaks, more frequently just growls and makes bestial noises to communicate along with staring and body language.

Silfr's body was originally the size of a normal Tarnished, and wore many signs of battle and pain, such as the left eye originally being blind for example. Each Dragon Heart consumed gives Silfr strength and grows in size, and repairs the borrowed body further, but Silfr keeps the eyepatch even after the left eye was returned for comfort.

Draconic traits come and go with emotions or in combat, gains horns, larger clawed hands, and more prominent scaling. The tail always remains though.

Silfr will at some point become an unholy abomination of Draconic flesh, but will not become a Magma Wyrm like most dragon communion members! Silfr will be a towering monstrosity somewhere between a Magma Wyrm, Dragonkin Soldier, and true Dragon, and at this point would absolutely be considered a Boss.

A profaned desperate ritual of the Dragon Cult through a pregnant cultist forced to partake in dragon communion, only to then be sacrificed to birth a stillborn, draconic child is where Silfr begins, though not truly in the form Silfr takes now. The Dragon Cult, desperate to recall their ancient Dragon God back to the Lands Between, chose to call on their magics and priests to find a body of an unnamed warrior, and transfer the soul of the stillborn Dragon God into the new vessel.

Silfr is what woke up. Revered and praised for something Silfr did not understand, memories a haze of new and old, belonging and foreign, Silfr only knows that the Cult believes to have rebirthed their Dragon God into a physical vessel. And in time, Silfr would grow into the birthright of said God, taking on the draconic form of old.

Silfr wanted none of the worship and "destined birthright" spoken of daily. So Silfr fled at the first opportunity, donning black hoods and robes to obscure the draconic features left over, and roams the Lands Between.

And despite this, the call of this "destined birthright", be the Cult right or wrong of the truth of this "Dragon God", left an echoing void in Silfr's stomach. One that only is sated by the roar of battle, the flame building in a throat, the taste of a fresh dragon heart between lips. Silfr chases the call, hunting down dragon after dragon, eating heart after heart, regardless of where it will end.

It's all Silfr knows.

Dragonkin Color secretly being jealous of Kin because he’s a dragon halfling…….. idk just a thought

Absolutely! I actually talked about this with toffee on discord before. Color getting caught staring at Kin’s tail and other dragon traits, wishing he actually had those instead of the phantom feelings, looking away whenever Kin notices.

I’d imagine that there’s a possibility that Justice could be a little critical of Color for feeling “bad” and “wrong” emotions like jealousy, perhaps viewing Color as hypocritical for it, getting into conflicts with Kindness and Integrity about it—both who just want Color to be true to himself, and for Justice to not be so judgmental and be a little kinder of natural emotions.

To let Color feel what he needs to feel and not assign moral values to feelings, especially if he hasn’t done or said anything harmful because of those feelings.

And like Kin, I’d like to think that although they aren’t extremely close or familiar with Color yet, they know he’s kind and respectful towards Beats, so they don’t immediately assume the worse.

Ishdiendidkw. Imagine Kin showing and teaching and encouraging Color to embrace being a dragon with them. Like, imagine to Kin, Color is a dragon, just a kinda funny looking one who behaves a little weird, but he’s welcome around here.

I need to do more looking into Kin eventually (and also finish finding everything about Beats and their AU), but the potential dynamics between Color, Kin, and Beats is fantastic. (Not to mention with Abyss and Color and Color and Mecha.)

Draco Centauros Guide

This one feels way too short, to me. And yet, I'm really struggling to figure out what else to add. oh well...

Draco Centauros is somebody that wants to prove herself to the world.

It would seem that her fascination with beauty pageants really did start with Arle jokingly suggesting one in OPP.

Draco is very (very) loud and proud of who she is-- a fact that further ties into her beauty pageant obsession.

By coming out on top in such an event, she hopes to prove that the nonhuman traits she's so proud of are part of her appeal, and makes her just as attractive as any human.

(That said, she's only really interested in competing against other girls, and ideally more human-looking ones)

(It's also not entirely clear if she even knows what happens in a beauty pageant, only what the end result means)

Beyond this, Draco is highly food-motivated. She's pretty much always hungry and always on the lookout for her next meal.

Despite, or perhaps because of that, she loves to eat and does not want to ever give it up. "Food is what gives me purpose!"

Draco is generally inattentive and tunnel-visioned. She much rather prefers to act than to think or listen, and doesn't really pay attention to potential dangers ahead of her. Granted, she's half-dragon, so it's not like much can kill her, even if it hurts her.

Also, because she doesn't like to think, she's quite naive and gullible too.

If Mado Fia is to be believed, the above three points are more cultural traits of the dragonkin tribe she is from, rather than personal eccentricities.

Though Draco does consider Arle a rival, they're still good friends. A lot of their rivalry is more of a statement of how easily Draco can get carried away with her own nonsense.

They've got their own rapport built on their bullheaded rowdiness (though Arle tends to be a lot quicker to try to reel things back into reality).

One headcanon I have is that Draco and Arle have been friends for a long time-- as in, nearly a decade.

Draco is also surprisingly close to Witch. At least, in that they are seen hanging out a lot.

Draco also admires Rulue's beauty, and how much she works to perfect herself.

Despite her obliviousness, Draco is more than willing to help out people that are in trouble. Provided that she's not the (usually accidental) cause of their trouble. Then she doesn't really know what to do beyond apologize.

Being half-dragon, Draco is both physically and magically powerful-- but she doesn't really get into serious fights all that often, so who knows what the extent of her abilities are.

She might be too easygoing and optimistic to ever really seriously consider hurting somebody to begin with.

Though calling her childish will make her very upset with you. As will attempts at blemishing her body

She doesn't have a great sense of direction.

At the same time, she's good at giving directions to people who ask.

I have a question if you don’t mind for the matching of deferent hybrid as from the characters appeared each of them has single origin of certain animal or creature and there is no mixed creatures appeared in certain character while in the story it appeared mating are not from same animal/creature so i dont understand this point like what character the toju’s and sabel’s child will resemble of and there was no mentioned of any of the current character already has mixed parents origin

you’re all good, i think i understand what you’re asking, basically imps and dragonkins are their own species, not hybrids, so their genetics would create a hybrid of the two species. in the animal hybrids, such as tobias being a deer/human and reiker being a hare/human, only their human traits mix, while the genetics for the animals they’re descendants of do not

eg. Sabel/Toju children would be dragon/imp hybrids, taking on both traits

Reiker/Tobias children would only take on either deer OR hare attributes, not both

(Foxes and wolves are seen as tricky beings in most folklore, with the mythical kitsune being one of the most common examples of this. Manipulative, sometimes downright sadistic in nature, as well as having quite the ego, Chris McLean may as well embody the spirit of foxes and wolves from folklore. Another common trait among foxes and wolves are some will be solitary animals, fending for themself and only themself. In order to even be considered their friend, you have to try really, really hard. FUN FACTS TIME!!!

Those white dots under her eyes are actually makeup. They're a traditional Jokani symbol of beauty in terms of makeup styles, while her eyeshadow also helps to hide her scars on her eye. ~

Her canon height is 7' 3'', while her human disguise measures 6' 7''. ~

She got a MAJOR OVERHALL with her tattoos... In total she has 5, if you don't count them in pairs: ~ ~ The white shoulder Siren/Progenitor ones (think Mycenaean-Greek art style) on both her biceps, as a way to show that she will always be there to carry her wife's (Elbent's) burdens, as well as to mimic her octopus tentacles to show how much Asya loves them and finds them beautiful..... She got them done right after her wedding to Verglaust and Elbent, by Blue Heron (@hyraxas OC)~ ~ ~ The gold star dreamcatchers on her surgery scars, to highlight her top surgery AND bottom surgery as her way of "crowning" her dream come true. Her bottom surgery scar tattoo can be seen over her womb area, with the stars pointing upwards from the crescent shaping her crotch, since the scars are.... you know.... ON the area. ¬3¬' ~

Kat (the artist who made this) made the brilliant idea of further differing the two subspecies of Dragonkin in Joka Ardhi: the common Opal Dragonkin and the royal tailor-bred Ruby Dragonkin..... And that's best seen by Asya's paws for feet, and her HORNS~ ~ ....... All Dragonkin have the same evolutionary trait shared amongst them with their horns, as their horns are in fact hollow inside, surrounded by years of layers upon layers of keratin to strengthen it for use in their adulthood, but all horns have a thin and spongy core within them known as their "Horn Cores". A Dragonkin's horn core contains a collection of vital liquid components such as: ~ Sulfur (the fuel source within their bodies that powers their fire) ~ Sun Dust (a golden dust that is in fact magic made physical by the crimson sand of Joka Ardhi, turned red by the spilled blood of dragons, baked in the never-ending harsh sun over the eons since the Founder's War and turned into a layer of literal dust above the sand and absorbed by the fauna and people of Jokani society, with too much of it being absorbed by an individual making them become Sun Blessed and developing fire powers nearly as strong as a Ruby Dragonkin) ~ Nutrient Rich Blood ~ A piece of their Dragonkin fire These are stored in the horns as a back-up supply to fuel their flames in tougher times, and help them not only to survive during famines and dry seasons in the desert, akin to a camel storing water in their hump, but it's also used as a way to show off their strength, age, and beauty to help attract a mate. The older and magically stronger the Dragonkin, the longer their horns will be and therefore will have more rings, due to a longer core storing more of their emergency stash of fuel for their fire and strength. ~

...... Appearance wise, Opal Dragonkin are not only born with stronger and more muscular frames, a tail with only a tuft of black fur at the tip, as well as their feet being reptilian claws that can withstand long journeys on sand, they also have actual RINGS or ridges in their horns, mimicking the local fauna such as antelope or cows, and come in a wider variety of shapes than a Ruby Dragonkin would.

In short... Opal Dragonkin have RINGS along their horns that are linear and organized in a pattern along the length of their horns. ~

Ruby Dragonkin, however, were designed into what they are from the moment they begin developing in the womb through genetic alterations (ie, forcing the baby within the pregnant queen to absorb entire liters worth of Sun Dust by having the mother bathe in it for weeks on end... the mother is not affected by this aside from minor bouts of fire magic that wears off) to house MORE MAGIC AND POWER than anyone else in all of Joka Ardhi. Combine that with the ensured survival of Alunnui's bloodline (the first Dragon Lord of Joka Ardhi and the first Ruby Dragonkin) through the royal family.... And you get paws instead of claws for feet and horns that have mutated to become so fire themed that the ridges are instead all over the place, just like veins of magma within a volcano. On top of that... a Ruby Dragonkin's horn core are a lot longer and wider than an Opal's for this obvious genetic mutation enforced onto them intrauterine/during their gestation. This makes their horns a lot more fragile than an Opal's, but given enough time to mature and grow stronger with age and training, and their horns will grow longer and gain more layers of keratin that will shield their horn cores better. ~

........ However, ALL DRAGONKIN HORNS DO NOT GROW BACK IF BROKEN. If left untreated after a small fracture on one or both horns, the horn will leak or bleed their core to the brink of emptiness, while a complete breaking of the horn will make the symptom only occur sooner, as the Dragonkin will then experience what's known as Hollow Sickness. ~

They will become dizzy, nauseous, unable to stand or keep their balance for hours or days, suffer from severe migraines and deeply torturous pain in their horn stumps or the area in their horns that's fractured/cracked, and only when the fracture is patched up using keratin treatment sealing glue or a prosthetic is placed onto the missing horn/s will the sickness subside. If the horns cannot be refilled after a month or two of rest and replenishing their Sun Dust and sulfur levels..... the Dragonkin will enter a deep depression and become unable to eat or move, slowly withering away until they die from exhaustion and starvation. ~

.... Thus, to break a Dragonkin's horns is considered the cruelest way to cause them the most agonizingly slow death. For even with prosthetics and their diet altered to refill their new cores..... A Dragonkin missing their horns feels like they are missing an entire limb used for survival. The depression such a loss causes can never be healed. As such, most Dragonkin would consider the breaking of their horns aimed closest to their heads, which would cause their skulls to fracture due to the horns literally being connected to them via major arteries and bone, to be a more merciful and quicker means of killing them. ~

And to finish this off with a more cute and fun fact...... Asya's ears measure a total of ten inches and are highly sensitive. Stroke them and you'll end up with a very happy purring kitten to deal with~ ;3 ~

......... I just wanted to add real quick here, that while the angle doesn't show it, Asya's tail tip of fur is shaped like an oval..... and it's supposed to be akin to a Dakotaraptor's tail~ You can see what I mean HERE and HERE.

The Farfields and it's influence is almost integral to life as we know it. Nearly everything interacts with it and bends the Farfields. There are plenty of examples of large beasts that use magic, as we understand it, such as the Sval'Galvlk, Undrosle, or Banshuma. My favorite, however, happens to be one of the smallest beasts; the Songling.

The Songling is a tiny horned beetle with a slight iridescent shell. The songlings gather together in groups called choirs. These beetles, which are seemingly mundane, have a unique ability. The shell of the songling vibrates when exposed to Resonance and releases a single auditory tone. The pitch depending on the size of the songling and the amount of Resonance.

Due to this unique trait, Songlings have been breed and sold all across Thaos to any mage or arcane college that wishes to avoid the damage that Resonance causes in large amounts. Rune-Smiths that specialize in Resonance dispersal will often use songlings to locate pockets of unchecked Resonance

Without songlings, the safe practice of magic would be nearly impossible without large monetary investments into runic safeguards

On the opposite spectrum are dragons. The seemingly immortal beasts feed upon Resonance, both natural and forced. The Resonance they consume feed the dragons and fuel their breath attacks and regional effects they emit. There is no greater threat to man than a territorial dragon with a Leyline beneath it.

Songlings grow quiet around dragons and dragonkin. Even being around a dragon's organs or scales will quiet one. Perhaps there is another book here that elaborates on dragon biology, after all the Dragon Hunters have devoted their lives to the butchery of dragons.

For appreciate a dragon day, I just wanted to thank the dragonkin community for giving me a home for these past few years! Of course, I’ve been in very elitist or unwelcoming dragonkin spaces in the past but I’m very thankful for the places that have been good to me and the people I’ve run into, whether or not they are still in my life today.

Being able to be myself with you all has been a genuine pleasure. I feel seen and understood in a way that I can’t find outside of alterhuman spaces. I can be both serious and silly without people forgetting that I am a complex dragon. People listened to me when I shared my thoughts and in turned shared theirs with mine.

Being in this community has opened me to a beauty I hadn’t experienced in the past. I mean, we dragons are so varied that I’ll never run into the exact same species of dragon twice! It’s given me a fondness for discussion and taught me to learn to love my own unique traits instead of being insecure about them.
