I used to watch RPDG when I was a liberal feminist so I know what I'm talking about. I think that drag queens are cringy misogynists. They view women exactly as incels: shallow and vain creatures with grotesque body traits&body functions (oversize boobs and vulva lips, shooting cream out of nipples, fishy vagina smell) who only think about gossip, cocks and shopping/fashion. And just like incels, they love to insult women and our bodies:cunt, bitch, slut, etc. How exactly is misogyny subversive?

How is this different from tiktok misogynists impersonating women to make fun of us? How is this different from how incels view women? Even super homophobic/transphobic countries like Russia allow males to act like they're women on national TV if it's to make fun of us (the popularity of Verka Serduchka and similar acts show this).

Drag queens are particularly misogynist and racist towards African American women : stealing some words and phrases from AAVE, parodying black women specifically by using exaggerated versions of makeup and style that were trendier among black women, even when the DQ doing it is white. Bell hooks wrote a bit about parodying black women in "ain't I a woman". I saw white transactivists and libfems claiming that certain words are "for queers only" when said words were actually appropriated by DQ from black women... I'm sure black radfems can expand on this more.

And I find it curious that drag QUEENS only parody and exaggerate *female* bodies and functions. Why don't they joke about transwomen leaking pus and shit post surgery? Or producing foul smelling smegma? Or dilating holes covered in hair because it's made from an inverted penis? Do they not consider transwomen women and therefore worthy of mocking? 🤔

Lmao op the "terfs" didn't invent a crazy scheme to convince people that "terfs" were bad so that people would turn to them. Like think about it for 2 seconds; it would be much easier to just. Not do any of that rather than having to fight against backlash.

The reason that these assclowns consider anything feminist as "terfy" is because they are misogynts. Plain and simple. They coined the word "terf" to have a group to scapegoat on the left as real feminism was actually picking up. "Feminazi" and "man hater" stopped working on women, so they had to come up with a smear campaign to convince women that fighting for their rights actually hurts a marginalized group, and it worked!! Now posts like this get made about the evil "terfs" as though a group hated by almost all men, and most of the right and (self-described) left-wing are able to pull off massive absurdist shemes like that.

"Terfs" didn't leave women "no where to go but radical feminism", patriarchy did. Misogynists of all sorts did. Sexist transactivists did. And also? That's not a bad thing. There's clearly a good reason so many of us former trans activists are flipping on this subject, among others.

The best tactic to force transactivists to admit the importance of sex is to push the concept of the afab trans woman.

I think feminists should take this concept very seriously and create a movement based on this identity to redefine trans woman as "anyone who identifies as a trans woman."

I would really love to hear why people can identify as women at will, but can't identify as transwomen at will.

If defining women by their biology is reductionist, why is it not reductionist to define trans women by their biology?

If it is liberating to open up the term "woman" to people assigned male at birth, why is it not liberating to open up the term "transwoman" to people assigned female at birth?

A religious-esque sermon filled to the brim with misleading and dishonest language, Nobody is denying you education, as is done to girls across the world, And nobody is denying you the ability to play sports, use the bathroom or change rooms. Transactivists need to get it through their mind that being denied special privileges or the ability to trample over women's rights is not being denied your own rights. call for interest: radfem wikipedia editing team

so i've seen some stuff on here as well as posted stuff about how much wikipedia is biased to the transactivist side. so that gave me an idea to learn to edit wikipedia together as a small group, possibly have a discord group or similar and help each other out. reblog this to boost, message me if you think you'd like to join.

i want it to be low time commitment (other irl activism is more interesting) and for people to not have to know anything about wiki to join (though if you're a slightly more experienced wiki editor, teach me your ways!!!!) also being international is an advantage (you can translate articles into other languages and keep most of the sources).

also i want to be realistic about where we are actually able to enact change. translating the article about magdalen berns into various languages is going to do more than getting stuck in an edit war about jk rowling.
