the thing about the lovesquare is that they are just opposites in EVERYTHING and it makes me giggle all the time

i love the pre-special fanon toxigriffe thing of her being full girlboss and him being like an unhinged attack dog cat who only listens to her

it makes sense it wasn't canon cause the unhinged was coming from emodrien's self destructive determination to prove to everyone (mostly himself) that he's untouchable & invincible instead of crumbling from unresolved grief & social isolation so like. he wasn't going to trust anyone.

but maybe… that happens post-special when he's in the awkward transitory period of becoming Good (enough)

like, have you seen the video of the cat howling and yowling at a door then they notice the person taking the video and start meowing really cutely? it's like that. sometimes griffe gets mad and he's a fucking menace again cursing everyone out (who does hesperia think he is, his dad? 😡🤬) until goth ladybug shows up and he's like henlo ladybug 🥺 it's me your boy 🥺 your precious partner kitty cat gentle sweet kitten 🥺

Okay, but can we talk about how it seems like Chat Noir gets to know the other heroes' secret identities now?

In the beginning scene the other heroes are in three-walled stalls (for lack of a better word) that hide their identities from each other...but not from Ladybug and Chat Noir? Who are standing together, facing the others?

Like, granted Kim and Mylene aren't in the very front, but they both completely de-transform, so at the very least we can infer there are no contingency plans or worries about keeping identities from him.

Tell me I'm not misinterpreting this.

up until the very end, adrien was so ANGRY with his father, like with the whole nightormentor thing, even after while in his solitary confinement, he was so angry, or very upset with his father, even when it all eneded he was calling out wanting to be let out IMMEDIATELY

how guilty do you think he felt after he died? or at least when he was told, that his last sight of him was when he was deakumatized, still frustrated he never listens to him

the way he didnt think of his father happily before he died and now he just has to go on living with that...

Since watching Sublimation (and seeing Buggachat mention that she's adding to the depleted civilian population) it got me thinking, if they DID give her a miraculous (temporarily or otherwise) I would be really curious to see what would happen re: her prosthetics.

I'm not sure we know Sublime well enough to guess with much accuracy, but it would be interesting!
