Now imagine with me, either Jazz or Prowl, meeting the other whilist they work to solve crime and then they meet the other as he is a new hire or something and then they clock that "hey, something is off with this guy."

together they both solve crime and like, think the other is a criminal or something because of the just sheer vibe they give off, staring into space, robotic movement, not even taking the time to eat or drink AND like?? he doesn’t have many documents of identification?? how’d he even get in?

like?? BLINK MOTHERFUCKER??

the new hire's desk has a radio on it, always tuned to static when he’s present, and that is like so suspicious to the other, its like, they're waiting for a message from someone?

in the cybertronian end, think something like the bumblebee movie, where prime sends autobots out and scatter to locate like a home for them or something

so, the cybertronian other will like, flee and disguise himself as a regular old police car but get like, mistaken for their own and the human half takes the bot to the station where they can experience what they do and stuff

so!! they get intrigued by the little organic’s work

and he wants in

could it be weeks or just days where they make themselves a holoform and like get themselves in the station to work and coincidentally gets partnered up with the human that they’re so interested by

while the human also coincidentally suggested that they work together and for the other to shadow his detective work

Anyway thats all i have in my head, i just needed to spout this because itll just be stuck in my head forever lol, this is also like, my first ever time of making these kinds of long posts

and theres the au that originated here on Tumblr where decepticons are Cybertronian but the autobots are humans (i cant find it from my reblog account) and i thought hey, i like secret identity aus, secret keeping, AND the uncanny valley that many add to holoforms so i had this idea
