I’m tired of posting on my private meme blog which is basically only for my followers, I’m gonna start writing personal essays again, but like, over here on my main blog. If y’all signed up for homestuck, I’m not really doing that anymore, I might come back to it now and again, but I think that part of my life is behind me.

I’m probably going to use this as a space for posting about neuroqueer issues, transreligious topics, and ludonarrative.

Hey Sophie, have you come across transx people who use the "wants to be x" language for themselves? /genq

We always took the transx to be used in the same way as transgender (i.e. there's some internal experience of identity with). And although that can feel like 'I wish I was x' the parallel in transgender spaces would be 'I wish I was a [gender]'. Which oftentimes is a step towards realizing that someone is transgender.

And what we can recall of the "people wanting to be x" regarding transx being the same sort of bad faith transmed stuff.

Here's the transautistic Carrd.

It refers to someone who want to acquire autism/a form of autism. it can also be used to describe someone who feels they should acquire autism. Transautistic people are not necessarily allistics they can be autistic individuals who want another form of autism.

And here's a transabled Carrd's definition of transabled:

Transabled - a term describing someone who desires a specific incapability or disability (for example, amputation, paralysis, or blindness), it can also be used to describe those who internally feel as if they are or should be disabled

This does include people who identify internally as having that disability, but it's an afterthought following the definition of "desiring" the disability.

There's also a popular coining blog with terms like this:

TransMuslim: a transreligious/transfaith identity whereby one desires to be of the Islamic faith or identifies as being part of the Islamic faith despite not being so, and/or identifies as being part of a Muslim family despite not being so.

Most of their terms follow this same format of "desires to and/or identifies as X."

Other transID blogs don't even include the option of identifying as X at all. For example, one for "transflavor:"

A related term by a completely different transID blog:

Transscent / Scentian ~! a label under the transid umbrella where one wishes to change and or adapt their natural scent.

This doesn't apply to the entire community, but there do seem to be a lot who are using "trans" to mean "wanting/desiring/wishing" to be something they're not.

How do I tell the difference between a real and troll Mogai blog? Or a real and troll blog in general. I want to follow some Mogai accounts but I keep following truscum that are troll Mogai accounts and it always makes me sad. What are some good Mogai blogs to follow and do you know of any troll blogs to avoid?

I don't really know any blogs to avoid/follow but here are some signs that a blog is a troll (and/ in general a blog to avoid, troll or not):

identifying with / using labels/pronouns like "piss/piss self", or "rabies sexual"

reblogging/saying things that are lesbophobic/homophobic, often to a ridiculous extent (ie "gays holding hands makes me vomit / should be illegal", "all lesbians are terfs / lesbians dni", etc)

using bigoted/wrong definitions of labels (ie "pan means attracted to trans people", "traumasexual means sexualising/being attracted to trauma", "autigender means identifying as autism", "ace means not wanting to fuck", etc)

identifying as / using the term transracial to mean "transitioning to another race"

saying being trans is a choice

saying being otherkin is lgbtq

being kin with real people like celebrities, youtubers, etc

I've seen some mogai troll blogs identifying as / using the term "transpronoun"

overall using the prefix "trans" with random things (ie "transspecies", "transpronoun", "transethnic", "transreligious", "transage", etc)

posting/supporting death threats, often excessively

supporting zoophilia/beastiality or paedophilia (look for terms like "pro map" / "pro nomap" )

overusing/misusing the words transphobia, homophobia, aphobia, ableism, etc

a follow up to this post about gender in mahar

combining the 2 elements i mentionned in the previous post, magmaarian would have 4 grammatical genders & 3 social genders. the grammatical genders are human/humanimal/animal/other animate (innanimates have no gender). these are only a language thing based on appearance. the social genders are based on the god triad (elzidiur, leo, jovol) and are elzen, lean, and jov. each is attributed arbitraly at birth depending on the time of the year as each day is associated with one of the gods. each of these gender has different qualities associated with it, and kids are taught differently depending on their gender, so in the end, you can guess someone’s gender depending on how they act. tho its also common that ppl wear a symbol that shows off the associated god, considering its closely related with religion (its admitted that you workship your gender god or at the very least, a lesser god from the same virtue) i think their idea of a transgender person would be more along the lines of transreligious, as in, switching which god you workship. itd been seen virtuous if you change your behavior to match the new “gender role”. (of course thats how society sees it, but its more likely its just someone who’s been forced to fit a role that doesnt fit them, who just says “yo im gonna change god so i can be more myself”) and of course theres ppl who reject this system as well. now my stories take place in a rather modern time so ppl arent outright discriminated against, but non-religious ppl are still marginals. (non-religious non-magmaarian are better treated than non-religious magmaarian, because they’re strangers so of course their customs would be different... but a magmaarian who does not workship the gods? thats just odd)

as for anissie, it depends on political context. anissian workship a single goddess, but in times of troubles, she splits into three, each facets representing a virtue (here’s still elzidiur, leo, jovol). so in times of peace, there is no gender, but when turmoil is upon the empire, they start giving out genders. contrarly to magmaar, its not arbitrary, but rather at the end of tests, depending on what you’re most skilled at, you’re given a gender coresponding the virtue respresented by a facet of the goddess. the idea is that in times of war, itd be easier to visualise what elements you need for a specific situation. i need to work more on this, especially the anissian empire went through a lot of turmoil, and i think theyd even be political debates within the empire about whever or not genders are necessary at a point in time. (as in “no theres no war theres no need for genders” “but look, war is clearly upon us, we have to get ready now! bring out the genders!”) also i can imagine individuals assigning themselves a gender bc they believe doom is upon the empire.

Kunwar Mohinder Singh Bedi  pen name Sahar was an Indian Urdu poet.[1][2] The Times of India called him a "noted Urdu poet"

Personal life

Sahar was born in Sahiwal, Punjab, British India in 1920, now in Pakistan and after Partition of India-Pakistan his family shifted to Fazilka, India

Career

His poetry is varied and includes traditional themes of love and yearning but also themes of unity, peace between India and Pakistan and humor. His poetry is considered to belong to the same transreligious and transnational tradition as that of other well-known poets from the Indian subcontinent such as Muhammad Iqbal, Faiz Ahmad Faiz and Ahmad Faraz.[4]

Sahar's first book of poetry was T̤ulūʻ-i saḥar (1962)[5] (translation "Advent of Daybreak"; the title is a play on words as pen name "Sahar", in Urdu means daybreak). In 1983, he published a collection of autobiographical poetry titled Yādon̲ kā jashn ("A Celebration of Memories").[6]

An international event to celebrate his poetry, called Jashan-e-Sahar ("A celebration for Sahar"), was held in the U.A.E. in 1992.[7]
