this is going to sound very unserious because it’s april fools but also there is a difference between rpf (FICTION), truthing (believing in something but does not necessarily mean you ship them, eg. lorde powerpoint), and believing people should get/ are together irl (eg. larries). one person making a rpf joke on twitter doesn’t mean they’re ignoring their real life relationships. come on now.

also WHERE was this contempt when annoying people would go into youtube comments (esp if it’s a channel run by a woman) and go “ooOooOh you talked to your male friend for three seconds are you guys dating ooOooOh” because afaik it it still happening in this fandom.
