Oh man, I really love All Together Getting Out Of The Hole Together, because it's a homage to a poem that I really love (What Resembles The Grave But Isn't), and I think it fits pretty well with the themes of a) amost insurmountable challenge that is mental illness b) community helping with that.

Okay, this is hilarious, because people who read my work could probably predict this— it's not anything reasonable like Hurt/Comfort or Worldbuilding, no, my most commonly used tag is Food.

🎁 - Prologues?

Since I mostly write in TV script form, I try to consider having an "intro" of some kind, a bite sized sample of the story and world to get the audience into it before the beat drops.

❄️ - Toughest part?

The toughest part is being a visual person. It's almost impossible for me to start writing until I have some kind of visual in my head for the story, either where I start or where I'm going. It's why every character I make has a face claim.

🦀 - Dialogue?

"Listen you piece of plastic, our mom is in danger! We are trying to find her to save her life, and you're our only chance of doing that anytime within the next thirteen months! So if you know something - tell us!"

It's time!!! This is the fic I wrote for @mcytblraufest! It's a silly little mob au centered around the Swamp Gals, with art done by the amazing @joculatrixster! This was beta'd by the awesome @trulymightypotato as well, and it was so great to work with these guys on this project! The reverse format of the big bang was so interesting and such a fun thing to do, and I'm really glad I participated!

Oh you gave me HOMEWORK. Okay let's see.

Burly Detective Syndrome— okay this is a solid C, because I have read lyrical stuff that absolutely kills it with epithet, but. But oh BOY that moment we've all had in reading a first chapter and it says "the brunet responded angrily" and the story grinds to a halt. Can be good or can kill a story DEAD.

A Day In the Limelight — Oh A. I love a minor character done well. This is a bit more arguable in mcyt circles because usually any character can be main POV if you watch their streams/videos, but even so we all know who usually gets to be tommy-centric and who gets to be support cast or antagonist. Wait did I say that out loud?

Featureless Plane of Disembodied Dialogue— A. I love me a pure-dialogue piece. I love dialogue and banter and this done well is exquite to me. Done poorly it is at least a fast read so yeah. I'm down.

Wanton Cruelty to the Common Comma— D. I am not as bad for this as some because honestly my grasp on grammar is not that strong so sometimes I don't notice? But if I am noticing— honestly all I want from grammar is that I don't notice it. I will forgive much for a good voice. If I am forcibly reminded of your grammar though, I am OUT.
