I've been meaning to do style studies. Let's experiment.”#And the moment my pen hit my tablet I was struck by the need to make it even worse.#Perhaps I am just nostalgic for club penguin and pengu but I think there is something magical about them holding hands.#Anyways I think younger WWX would have loved club penguin. It's the joy of the minigames and hanging out with your friends online.#Lan Wangji could never get past the fact the 'Ask your parent/guardian!' part of registration.#Either because he knew Lan Qiren would have said no *or* because he asked once and got turned down.#Lan Xichen probably was like 'Hey I can help you with that :)' to which LWJ said no because that was breaking the rules.#But if I *had* to put wangxian in a club penguin AU? Yeah 1000% it's LWJ as a mod and WWX as a notorious (nootorious) griefer.#WWX would be trying to speed run how fast he can get banned or how much he can get away with.#Getting removed and returning over and over earns him the 'necromancer of CP' title in the community. Loathed by many.#Meanwhile LWJ is about to seriously consider doxxing this guy just to get him to stop making his volunteer hobby less of a nightmare.#Cue 10 years later. They meet up on the ice flow on the last day before the servers get shut down. They have a genuine heart to heart.#Three years later on Club Penguin rewritten: two grown men decide to relive their childhood one more time.#Fate draws them to the same server.#I ask again. Do you think love can bloom on the digital sea ice?

#not to complain ab the same stuff i always complain ab #but my artblock is soooo bad . its so bad and frustrating and limiting and demotivating #because instead of being able to draw whatever whenever i feel like im chained to random bursts of inspiration #that i cant manifest just by willing it so yk. and imlike why…#so many ppl who draw whether for their job or for their hobby seem to be able to do it whenever #and its like yeah i could put pen to paper rn but theres such a mental disconnect that its not enjoyable anymore #dude its so whateverr😭😭 like its so made up and ik its just a psychological thing but it feels so physically .Hard #rrrgwgqq #like i try to maintain the habit by drawing stuff out even w no end in mind #but that also stresses me out bc its likeIDKK idk #silly tbh #seeing all of this art arnd me all the time > online and stuff is so nice and inpsiring #and it makes me want to do that too but i legitcannot . like i am being squished by a boulder and my hands are chained to 30lb weights #whatfreakign ever dude .like whateverrr #i want to grind my brain 2 a pulp . honestly🙌#like what do u mean u cant u literally just do it.but im the one exception to that

Aight I feel like I should go ahead and officially say this! I probably won't be drawing much of sun and moon anymore! I'll still reblog art and fics of them but I will no longer be a creator! Just a consumer!

#the fake shoujo manga chapter divider in a shoujo magazine is complete!#this took me like three days to finish and needless to say I’m proud of it 😌#ok maybe apart from Steve I’m not too happy with how he came out #everytime I draw his s1 hair apart of me wants to explode cause of how confusing and hard it is to draw #I imagine that this (fake) manga starts off as a regular shoujo romance but slowly escalates into a sci-fi horror #I’d like to thank Betsumas online archive for giving me references of shoujo from the 80s and 90s #ngl this would have flopped without it #I took some inspo from the many different art styles I saw in my betsuma refs and added aspects to my already pretty anime style #I also stylized Jonathan’s hair differently to how I usually do it to go more in line with how I think it would be stylized #in an actual shoujo #same with Nancy too #I also did more softer shading and tried to make it look watercoloury as alot of the shoujo mangaka I like use it for more fancy art #in relation to their work #i don’t think it comes across that way but hey it was worth a try!#I’m either proud of the title of this fake ST manga or ashamed of it idk I can’t decide #anyways I might do a part two to this? idk it was originally my intention #hope y’all enjoy!#stranger things #nancy wheeler #jonathan byers #steve harrington #barbra holland #jancy #I’ll add the jancy tag cause this piece has the pairing in subtext (lmk if i should remove it at all cause this isn’t an obvious jancy thing #)#cw eyestrain #tw eyestrain #<-adding these tags cause I think this could cause some eyestrain

#Riolu #Doodle #The Mod #Do not use my sona thanks #Just wanted to give a silly doodle while I ramble #I admittedly made the last few daily pieces as basically a progression of my eyes for the last ~1.5 years #Keeping up with everything became harder because of my eyes #I only talked about this briefly on my main twitter #I was diagnosed with keratoconus #My eyes got worse over time #so I was squinting constantly and would get headaches trying to focus my eyes to draw or play half the games I did #it sucked. I slept a lot to get rid of pain and I felt like I couldnt do my normal work so it kept piling #I had surgery + got RGP Contacts to help me see normally this year tho!#So I can finally get my shit together and have been slowly trying to get everything going/sorted #Just to like... explain where I disappeared to #Ofc Its hard to do anything art or reading without my contacts in #tbh i didnt even know until December lol so it went for awhile and thought my prescription went from good to shit #so i took a minor break from social media to keep where my eyes used online to mainly discord

Hi! Still getting used to posting cause it just… a lot of things but REGARDLESS-

I just did an art collab with an 👏✨A-M-A-Z-I-N-G ✨👏 artist and friend of mine!

For those who don’t know who this amazing person is then it would be my pleasure to introduce @judart ! Again thanks for drawing with me Jud!

Anyways, for anyone interested in the extras of this drawing and fun information, just look below the cut! Thanks again and god this was fun!

Here’s the sketching and stuff for the pose of my own character. I had a another friend of mine help with the proportions and how the body would work. Which was quite fun and a new experience for me since I suck at some stuff when it comes to anatomy and such. Also gravity on clothing.. ehh

Here’s where I basically finished up on where I wanted things to be. I also colored coded my character so it would be easier for redrawing on my app. However if you do spot my little note in the corner then.. well.. I forgot, for a bit.

Ok so, here’s everything colored and redrawn digitally. I really like it but it’s definitely.. spacious. Oh! Here’s something fun to know! If you look at the book closely you can see I took a real back page of a book with Paranormal for a fun Easter egg as a reference to the pose base!

Anyway here’s the original reference for the pose base, I (as stated earlier) had drawn it as a sketch so it would be easier for me to replicate in my own style.
