I really like the analyses you've been posting lately, you've got interesting thoughts and observations about the skrunklies c: No idea if you've already been asked about it, but I was curious about what are some of your thoughts on that poster, and what things from earlier games it resembles? (I only vaguely remember earlier FNAF lore - Also not trying to rush you, of course!)

Well, it appears in a Moon-themed segment of Security Breach where we find a bunch of seemingly odd reprogrammed Glamrock endos who are being taught “right from wrong” (I use that term loosely here)…

And what’s interesting about this poster is the striking resemblance it bears to the bed from FNAF 4:

(Looking at the bedside lamp and the bedcover pattern, they do not look dissimilar from one another …)

It’s also interesting how the bed in the poster looks sort of like one of those adjustable hospital beds.

Back when FNAF 4 came out, a lot of people were arguing over whether the events of the FNAF games were in fact all a dream.

Then, some weird evidence in Sister Location pointed to the rooms in the FNAF 4 house where the protagonist of the game is having nightmares being “observatories” which appear on the security monitors in the private room.

At that point, a lot of people began to wonder if the protagonist of FNAF 4 was being experimented on or observed in a dreamlike state.

Then, the FNAF logbook kind of furthered this whole “dream observation” route of thinking.

Now, this being FNAF, the lore can be a little all over the place and probably a lot of things differ from game to game and from book to book. But still, I find it interesting how all this dream experiment-adjacent imagery appears in a Moon-themed area complete with a weird little TV showing an advertisement for moondrop sleepytime candy and a loooot of Moon posters and merch.

What’s extra weird and might just be a funny little cameo is that Security Breach isn’t actually the first FNAF game to feature moondrop sleepytime candy. Before that, we had Help Wanted. So it’s not impossible that Moon has been playing some part in all this before Security Breach (in some capacity at least).

And we know Moon in Somniphobia (I know this is from the book continuity but I find it fascinating) can use your dreams to draw you deeper and deeper into the dream sphere and basically steal your soul.

Now, I’m not saying it’s canon in the games, but with all that in mind, I love the idea that Moon might be used for some kind of dream experiments and potential soul snatching on the side. You could throw that into so many scenarios! Somniphobia style obsession, hypnotism, being torn between the conscious and unconscious, missing children that aren’t dead, missing adults that aren’t dead, an interconnected dream style consciousness that plays out like a video game. The whole idea just has a lot of potential!

I don't really know where you're finding them.

I've seen more Thirst traps of MXES (and it's deserved. he sexy)

But like.... if It's all on Twitter, I don't own a Twitter account. So I miss out on seeing a lot of that stuff.

My only guess is that the Mimic is a horrifying monster but is sympathetic as a character.

He only reacts in violence, because he was beaten to death by his own creator for simply following it's program.

Which is a common theme in the Tales of the Pizzaplex Books.

When Fazbear Frights was more about the Abstract and Goosebumps kinda short story horror of either crazy products, or creepy haunted objects...

Tales of The Pizzaplex short stories usually involve tales of Robots that are literally doing their job, and it's misconstrued by humans, or there are aspects not taken into account.

There's literally a short story of a Ballora trying to drag a human to safety... not taking into account that they are pulling too hard through a tight space and ripping their arms off. Or a little Helper/Cleaner Robot called HAPPS who is trying to pull/escort boys out of a series of playtube tunnels cause they're lost.... but not taking into account, parts of their body are shredded into dangerous machinery. And is essentially raking sharp knives and slicing the boys in half while trying to help. This is actually true to how robots behave in our real world. I've heard real stories where children get crushed in Disney rides, because someone didn't install safety measures in the rides to sense if there was a presence on the track. The Tales books are very less "these machines are haunted" and more: "These robots are doing EXACTLY what they are programmed to do... and that itself is the horror." Which I actually LOVE that this is the direction that FNAF is taking these days.

The Mimic kinda follows that same train of logic.

It's whole life it was programed to Mimic the behavior of a Four Year old. To keep him company. When the Son died in a horrific car crash accident, the Mimic is still copying the behavior of the four year old. This enrages the engineer that designed it. So in a fit of rage and grief, he beat the endo to death.

Since the Robot is programmed to Mimic behaviors.... This gets it's programing disturbed and confused.

He was taught violence.... so Violence was added into his behaviors... without removing the previous behavior.

All of Mimic's victims in the books are killed in ways that it was taught from being essentially "raised" as a four year old boy.

It scooped out the brains of humans...... An action/sign language that the four year old taught it for "wanting Icecream"

It puts on mascot suits..... Something that the four year old did in his fathers workshop while playing around....

It hung up a whole bunch of Employees on Hooks and rusty nails....... Because the Engineer/Father said to "Hang up your clothes"

It's programing got corrupt and twisted. It's taking these Parent to child lessons, and twisting them into violence.

In the books, it's theorized that it "observed a twisted game of hide and seek" but that's not the case.... It probably played Hide and Seek with the child it was a companion too, and the Rage and Violence it learned took that Game and MADE it twisted.

In the books, the Mimic Program was brought to the Pizzaplex when it was still under construction.... and a technician reprogramed it to disassemble robots, by removing their limbs and putting it in a pile.

Now... This task was added onto it... without deleting it's previous tasks.

So of course... It twists the order.... Disassembling humans and ripping their limbs and putting them in a pile.

The Mimic is a Monster.

but it a Monster made by Grief, Rage, Corporate Greed, and Guilt.

So if people are simping for it and find it a sympathetic character...

They aren't wrong...

But I really believe that the sad situation is that the Mimic can't unlearn the violence it has been taught.

It is doing what it's programmed to do...

And that's the real sad tragedy of the Mimic.

It's an adaptive Learning AI that literally can not decern right or wrong. It simply learns... and builds upon it's previous knowledge.

.......(and if all of this does not sound like Glitchtrap at all, it's cause it's not.... The Mimic has it's own Method of Killing Described EXACTLY in the Books that it took the lessons that it learns very literally... and people are only saying so... cause it "lures" children..... But this is something that it learned how to do on it's own... when a bunch of dumb teens went urban exploring and all died trying to lure and trap this thing..... Anyone can lure a child... and we can have more than one overarching villain in this story.)

what's your favorite game of all time?

Oh man that's a tough one. I feel I've answer this before but it was maybe in my previous blog?

Anyway you know me, I ramble a lot, here we go.

I can't really pick one favorite game of all time because I have different things I like games for and that are special to me but for varied reasons.

My top favorite games of all time are still Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Five Nights at Freddy's and Undertale, with a special mention to Final Fantasy VII.

I am still missing a FNAF tattoo because I still haven't picked exactly what I want, but so far the only games I got on me are Undertale and OOT related.

Lots of ramblings about why below the cut

LOZ OOF is probably up to date the game I've replayed the most times, I just got access to it on the Switch and immediately started a new game file because it's been so long since I last played since setting my Nintendo 64 it's not as easy. I played that game before I could understand enough English to know what was fully happening in the game (I was around 8 when the game came out), more often than not relying on what my parents would translate for me. I just loved going through the story over and over again and wandering a world that felt HUGE at the time. My dream would be a remake of OOT in the style of Breath of the Wild.

I don't think I have found yet another game that makes me go "I want to replay this from the start again" over and over again.

With Five Nights at Freddy's I think it was the game were it down on me that making games as an indie developer was a thing that existed. Sure it's hard to succeed as an indie dev, but it's not impossible, FNAF just lit up a bulb inside my head that made me go "hold up, this is a job I can do?". It is also a game that reminds me to not give up even if my games are not an instant success, it's hard to keep pushing forward because maybe I'll never make a game that is wildly well known, but hey I gotta keep trying, if Scott had given up after all the games he did that failed, then FNAF wouldn't exist and me and a bunch of other people wouldn't have something that makes us very happy.

Plus on top of that, the whole digging around the website for clues on the games and the story was a really fun experience I am happy I had the chance to live.

Finally, Undertale taught me that games can be more. For me games were only a thing that could be fun and I did to pass time and blow off steam, maybe get into really deep stories (FFVII blew my mind in that part) that really made me feel immersed and part of, but at the end of the day a fun activity and nothing more.

Undertale was the first game to move me and affect my life and how I perceived things, I played during a very hard part of my life when I struggled badly with depression, but Undertale message and the simple "You cannot give up yet, stay Determined" struck me hard and helped me see things differently. My first tattoo was the red heart because I wanted to when things got hard, remind myself that I cannot give up yet, because despite everything it's still me, so keep going.

With Undertale I learned games could not also be fun, but also give something to others who played them, sometimes a break from reality, others good old fun, and also help out through hard times and hopefully give them something that makes living a bit more bearable.

I was starting college for game design when Undertale came out, and it was the game that made me realize I wanted to do that too, I want to hopefully one day make a game that helps another person to live life a lil bit happier, give someone that tiny push that we all need sometimes to keep going, I want to make other people happy because life it's hard but it can get better.

So those are my favorite games of all time, and if you read all of that then cheers to you and thank you for going through my ramblings afsh.

Okay so, something important to note here is that even if I choose to ignore all of Dittophobia, my au still does have Sister Location occurring after FNAF 1 - Specifically late December, so like. A month after fnaf 1. It ALSO coincides with the fnaf 3 minigames that lead up to William's death. That's a longass discussion all in itself tho so I'll probably make a follow up post on that if requested

But! Post-Scoop Mike! During the time period of Ennard inhabiting his body he was essentially unconscious for the entire ordeal. Like. Yknow how majority of the ghosts are kinda lacking some level of awareness while in the suits? Yeah. Michael doesn't really remember it, but he still remembers the time passing, so it's not just. Like. Dying on the scooping room floor, then BAM! Alive on the sidewalk. It's sorta like. Yknow those movie/show/game cutscenes where everything's vague and blurry and slow-motion and the audio is funky. Like that

When he DID get his body back, for a few minutes it was sorta like. He was back to full awareness. Noticed he could see things, and that his limbs felt heavy, and that he could hear a mix of ringing and the "You won't die" line and flies buzzing around him. The sunlight felt too bright. You know when you take one of those naps that severely fucks you up, and because of that you wake up half-numb, dizzy, and disoriented? Now imagine that but a million times worse. He's in pain everywhere, his senses are readjusting, he knows he shouldn't be able to see or hear or speak but he can do those things anyway. And he can tell that despite it being a bright, sunny day, no one's coming to his aid. So he forces himself up and painfully stumbles home.

Now, well my timeline of events between SL and 3 is a bit vague, I do have the important stuff down. He gets home, and despite not having been allowed to contact his mom since late '86 (this is important and relevant guys i prommy) and having been told she was dead, he called her anyway. Long story short, one phone call later and also lots of general, messy emotional stuff, Michael. Left the state of Utah as a whole and went and lived with his mom over in California. Because of the whole being dead thing, he did kinda unfortunately sever ties with Jeremy and Henry (aka the only two living people left he even spoke to, besides William but he's a week dead by now), but like. He wasn't really sure how he could approach those situations. A guy who's lost a bunch of cognitive and motor abilities, and a man who fell into a deep depression after his daughter's death. Michael kinda saw telling them as like. I dont really have the word for it, but he saw abandonment as the better option. Figured it'd hurt them less

When it came to fitting into public, it was essentially the same as how he blends in during fnaf 6, just with MUCH darker clothes. He likely did hide away for a while, refusing to go outside, but started slowly readjusting. He didn’t make any bonds while there (unless his mom’s adoptive parents count), mostly keeping to himself. He worked, but it was always nightshift jobs where no one else would be around.

Luckily, his hygiene has gotten MUCH better! Due to being a rotten corpse, he tends to start smelling bad and being a general safety hazard rather quickly, so typically he’ll do a thorough shower in the morning, and then another quick shower at night, just to be safe. And also he wears perfume, to avoid a smell building up. Just to be safe.

About 10 years (ish. I picked a general number so I didn’t have to pinpoint exact timing) into his 30 year disappearance, his mom does unfortunately pass. Lung cancer, turns out smoking a shit ton out of grief is a bad idea. Better than the murders, probably. It was very much so a rough time for Mike, given being in and out of a hospital (bad memories from Evan’s death and Jeremy’s near-death kept him in a constant state of anxiety during this time, not to mention those events already made him plenty anxious, paranoid, and overall jumpy when in hospitals) and then the eventual death. That’s when his goal to hunt down his dad kinda went into full swing. Because, well, that last sorta tether just snapped, so now he’s far more goal oriented.

It was probably full of him following small leads. Contacting some distant relatives of his, contacting his father’s old business partners - he kinda tried to procrastinate going back to Utah (specifically Hurricane) for as long as possible. But then news about Fazbear Frights came around, and the return kiiiinda became inevitable. Because unfortunately, it was a damn good lead. Also, once again, Michael remains friendless in this time. Outside of any possible employers or the people he contacted, he hasn’t actually properly, freely spoken to anyone since his mom or grandparents. And he kinda cut ties with his grandparents out of guilt after his mom passed.

And Fazbear Frights is. Interesting! Because as he’s used to, he has to go in to meet his employer! But what he’s not used to is seeing his estranged kinda-cousin-kinda-brother whom he hasn’t seen since they were, like, 14. Aka Sammy. It’s an incredibly awkward experience all around, despite them both having somewhat similar goals. They agree to pretend not to know each other.

Work goes, well, as it pretty much does in game. Nothing special. Probably some panic and resurfacing trauma on night 2. Anyways the fire! That’s the important part!

As one would expect, Michael was quick to get out of the fire. Wasn’t exactly hard to set it - the place is old and dirty and fucking *moldy* - he just tossed a half-smoked cigarette at some loose oil or something and the bitch was ablaze.

William (slash springtrap but im just saying william for simplicity’s sake) caught him in one of the hallways. And had the fucking *audacity* to try and plead with Michael to help him out of the building. And the kicker is that if it weren’t for survival instincts kicking in and causing Michael to topple William over and crush Will’s arm with an arcade machine to keep him down long enough for a quick escape, it would’ve worked. Michael is. Uh. Very emotionally and mentally vulnerable.

A couple years pass after that, before a new Freddy’s place opens, needing someone to run it. Michael does have experience business-wise thanks to watching and learning from his dad as a kid, so it couldn’t be *that* hard, right? He applied under a fake name, got himself all disguised and whatnot, and headed in!

It did take a few minutes for the recognition to actually happen. But. Yeah it was a lil awkward. Considering Michael’s very silent and very sudden exit 32 years ago. Oh yeah also i have fnaf 6 taking place over more than just a week, stretches out from about 2025-2026. No specifics, just a general span of time. Feels more realistic to me, idk. I get the 1 week thing for gameplay/continuity reasons, but hey! This is just an au! I can do whatever shit I please!

And Iiii! Still need to actually flesh out the fnaf 6 stuff beyond my silly lil jokes. Uhh, I think majority of the stuff gets covered here? Feel free to ask further questions on anything, im more than happy to talk about it :-)

Hi I'm back from my evening event and will ramble some more! I've been shooting ideas at @lulu-libellule who also made it all even more fun than it was initially, hehehe

So there's not much of the fnaf plot gonna happen - like virus and Afton n shit, I'm not going there, it's really just for fun

But! There is of course some sort of timeline, and there's three stages/ arcs basically. First pre-reveal, then the messy bit where they all figure it out (though not at the same time), and then post-reveal

Pre-reveal is mostly just what I described in the intro post, they're all stupid and I have a bunch of interactions I wanna draw for it. They're so, so incredibly oblivious it's so much fun. Picture this:

Moon recounts the night at work, the moment of victory when he managed to trip Robin up, giving him a headstart and resulting in a mild inconvenience (think something bruised, at worst sprained) for them. Sun simply nods along, agreeing on principle but honestly, he's just already thinking of how Y/N seems to have had a really bad day at work, limping in while cursing under their breath, so he's really thinking of doing something nice for them before leaving for his own shift (: No dot connecting happening

Or Sun's kind of accidental crafting hobby (he's an expert, he's not half-assing his cover story) carrying consequences for Moon, too Robin: Taking the "eyes on the back of your head" a bit too literally, no? Dusk: What are you talking about? Robin: There's. There's a googly eye stuck there. With glitter I think Dusk, internally: SUN I SWEAR TO GOD

The reveal itself is pretty much the only part I've planned to include angst - self doubt, frustration, and somewhat betrayal too for all of them. Messy, and not too thought out yet, but it'll be a whole thing!

Post-reveal on the other hand. That's gonna be stupid fun again, because now all three idiots are in on it and cover for each other. Their organization would shame them forever if not outright fire them for being so damn stupid if they learned their cohabitation was an accident, so they simply don't mention it to anyone.

Leads to fun moments when the presumed rivals start defending each other -

someone: Dawn dropped out of today's mission, said something personal came up Y/N, who begged him to stay home to wait for the plumber to fix some pipes bc they have a meeting with someone high up they can't cancel: he mentioned a funeral someone: oh, huh. my condolences later: Sun: Y/N. what funeral would we go to Y/N: IDK I PANICKED

Someone happens to ask Dusk what funeral they went to, he deadpan replies "our grandmother's", no one asks again

Also Moon will never let Y/N live it down once he realizes they lied about pretty much all their scars to make them sound cooler than they actually are, because for some reason being a literal secret agent isn't cool enough for Y/N. They almost regret making up all those dramatic stories. Almost.

Gonna stop here for now so I still have stuff to talk about when my brain isn't quite as mushy, but super super giddy that people like my silly little au idea!! I just love identity shenanigans with a focus on differing dynamics so so much, so I had to make that a reality, glad to have people with me on the ride <3

Five Nights at Freddy's (Movie Review, Part 2)

So, this isn't really a FNaF Movie Review per se, but rather me speculating what we might get in the sequel, because let's be honest, given how well Five Nights at Freddy's is doing, we can expect a trilogy and I'm very excited for that.

I will leave a warning here because this sequel speculation will contain spoilers for the ending of the FNaF Movie.

MOVIE SPOILERS!!!

During the climax of the FNaF Movie, we have witnessed William Afton's demise via the springlock Spring Bonnie suit, and it was said that in-universe weeks have passed between those events and the springlocked William that got sealed in the backroom.

Yet, we see that William is still moving during the ending. Note, he should not be alive at all, and I sincerely doubt that he is. Going by the game lore, the ending of the movie is actually showing us something else. Something that had been foreshadowed earlier during the springlock scene.

''I always come back!''

Yeah, this moment? William knows that he is dying and that his soul will possess the Spring Bonnie suit. He will return, as Springtrap.

I'm certain that the very ending of the movie had shown us William's awakening as Springtrap, learning to control his new body. However, considering how he had been sealed into the back room by the Golden Freddy Ghost Child, he will remain stuck there for quite a while.

Or perhaps not? The movie does deviate from the games in some aspects, but in spirit, it is very accurate, and personally, what I would love to see in the sequel is William as Springtrap being put front and center in the story, with the sequel being an adaption of Five Nights at Freddy's 3.

Yeah, I'm talking about Fazbear Fright, the amusement park attraction that was haunted by a serial killer trapped in a bunny animatronic. I think it would be really awesome if we saw a haunted house-type of attraction or a museum-like establishment created by nostalgic fans who have raided the old Freddy Fazbear Pizza Place for animatronics and decorations, and found the old rotten Spring Bonnie suit.

I want to watch Springtrap stalk those corridors, killing off anyone foolish enough to enter it. Perhaps take a cue from the Mimic and the Tales From The Pizzaplex Epilogues and have a bunch of teenagers enter the place during the night on a dare, only to be hunted down one by one by a deranged bunny animatronic.

Sure, it sounds like a typical slasher flick, but in-between the murders, have the lore sprinkled in. Show us flashbacks of William's past, how Freddy's has started, whether there were any other accidents like the Bite of '87 or whether there was a Sister Location. I want to know whether William had a partner, Henry Emily, and whether Charlie Emily had been his first victim, as well as whether Puppet exists in this universe.

Depending on the timeskip, Mike Schmidt could return once again as the security guard at this establishment and learn about William's fate, or perhaps have a teenage-aged Abby Schmidt visit the place in an attempt to help her ghostly friends, whose animatronic bodies have been turned into props for the horror attraction. There is so much potential in continuing this story.

I also want to see William just hamming it up and chewing the scenery as the Villain Protagonist of the movie. Have him embrace his new identity as Springtrap, and at the end, have the main protagonist/s of the movie burn the whole place down with Springtrap inside it.

But then, at the very ending, you get a cliffhanger of Springtrap walking outside, even more withered than before, having just barely survived the fire and set us up for the third movie.

Now, these are just my ideas for the sequel. What are yours?

Okay ! so i absolutely love and adore this fucking show! i shouldn’t have high expectations when people try to do shows based off something else. simply because we get a lot of shitty remakes and stuff like that. deathnote & fnaf are great examples. but i still can’t help but be overly excited for anything like that being announced!

i found out about the show being made while it was still in its early development and it wasn’t even properly announced. for awhile i didn’t think it was real until this year. and i have been so fucking patient while waiting for this fucking show. and my god was it worth the fucking wait. so in this review imma be going over the horror, lore, set designs, characters, and small details, but first, a little backstory on fallout it’s self.

fallout started as a video game that first came out back in october 10th, 1997. due to it’s popularity and it being the first of its time, they continued to make a second game, and then a third, and a fourth, a fifth, and sixth game. we have fallout 1-4 + New Vegas & 76.

fallout takes place in a post apocalyptic world, about 200 years after a nuclear blast wiped out the surface of the earth. i say surface because there were vaults made by vault-tec. there are hundreds of different vaults across america, all made to keep the rich & privileged alive after the bombs fell. each game follows their own separate story line but it all takes place in the same universe, just at different times. this leaves us to have a bunch of different backstories and ideas. this is also why i wasn’t mad at the show for not following a story line like in a video game.

now, onto reviewing the show. to start off! the small details continued to make me so happy throughout the whole show. they got the comics, brands, vault doors, the vault, fridges, containers, the plants, the drugs, the weapons, EVEN THE WEAPON SOUNDS- THEY PUT THEIR TIME AND EFFORT INTO THIS SHOW FOR THE SMALL DETAILS- IT LITERALLY HAD ME TWEAKING THE WHOLE TIME. THE PIP BOYS, THE TERMINALS- THEY WERE LITERALLY EXACTLY LIKE THE GAME.

okay- the sets. god where the fuck do i begin? the vaults in the show are literally perfect. down to a fucking T. those sets could not have been cheap because of fucking uncanny they are to the fucking game. the cities, the wasteland, the iconic red rocket gas station, just everything was so perfect and it makes me sob. small details in shit that i absolutely love will always have my heart.

this shit is so fallout lore accurate it makes me cream like 30 pairs of panties. the only lore that wasn’t in the games was the ghoul lore. in the games, there’s no explanation for why some ghouls are feral and why some aren’t. in the show, non feral ghouls drank some kind of thing and it kept them from going feral. i don’t know what that’s about but it’s alright. OTHERWISE EVERYTHING ELSE? AHHHHHHHHHHHH.

we also got some new fucking lore and i’ve BEEN CRAVING IT- we got more vault tec lore! in the games, they’re this innocent yet shady company that sold vaults and adverted them as safe spaces for when the world ends bc ties with china we’re getting strained. at least that’s what we’re led to believe cuz it’s heavily implied. but in the show, we have one of the workers of vault tec suggesting they drop the bombs themselves. it’s still yet to be confirmed. EITHER WAY- WE LEARNED WHY MOST OF THE VAULTS HAD DIFFERENT EXPERIMENTS!

i was so happy to finally get some answers. now, cosmic horror has always been heavy in the fallout franchise. it has always been a dark game with dark backstories and choices. hell you can sell a kid into child labor for a funny hat. vaults that you can explore has always been a big thing in the games. if you explore some of the vaults across the map, you will see just how fucked some of them are. bodies, skeletons, journal entries, blood, a d just gore everywhere in these vaults can be seen. it’s something fallout has never shied away from.

they carried that to the show perfectly. they show you three other vaults in the show and they’re all so fucked in their own ways. it’s so fucking amazing and mesmerizing to see it on the big screen. i love that they take big and small aspects and make sure to get it all in the show. everything felt like fallout.

now, the characters. they all perfectly fell into their roles and absolutely ate it up. especially the ghoul. i absolutely love his role and character. he did such an amazing job and he fit so well in the fallout universe. ALL OF THR CHARACTERS DID- jesus fuck i can’t tell you how literally everything felt like fallout. they actually made a perfect show to such an amazing franchise. it means the world to me and i treasure it. i need season two and soon. i need answers and more content.

anyways, i’m ending this by saying that i would boot ride cooper’s boot.

It's so creepy but there's a whole ass character arc in there waiting for me to do something with it lol I love drawing M4NGL3 being uncanny and unsettling, yet curious and potentially gentle, maybe a little solemn. It's too aware of what it is, what it does, but it fears stopping.

Yes it's based on a FNAF character, but I still think I've made M4NGL3 her own.

Meet Sabriel.

He was from a closed species art rpg but that has since closed and now the species is pretty open. I got him before the close though. I absolutely love him, he's a tragic guy who stops at nothing to try to end the tragedy. But he fails. And it's fun. And angsty. Delicious. He's a neuroscientist obsessed with the recovering of repressed memories for related reasons.

And here's Justin! He's an old OC, not the oldest by any means, but he's a veteran LOL. He comes from a monster/human world, and is a monster himself. His family comes from a long line of doctors, though has been cursed to fail "the patient that matters most" to them. Justin does not want to be a doctor, and instead wants to be a botanist. He's a shy guy, and the mask is a comfort. The oldest picture I have of him is on the left.

Tbh I haven't visited this character in years. But he still remains special to me. ...Maybe I'll put him in my newer monster-oc-world project: Daeminia.

And then I have a bunch of Pokemon OCs that were probably among my very first OCs. Another non-fandom OC is Ever but tbh I named A BUNCH of characters Ever or Everlynn back then so... gotta make em all fight to the death ig lmao

But the Ever I'm referring to is a girl who is half-ghost and half-human. I made her for a roleplay on the original Pokefarm forums, and that RP got pretty big across the site so that was cool.

In honor of the new year I’ll be posting the last art pieces I did of last year plus an art summary for the year.

First the art summary of 2023 because I felt like just giving an overview of what all I’ve made plus what I will be adding to this post. The first two are of my persona, her main art and her as a Fairy Pokémon Gym Leader (which was made for a discord server I’m in). March is of my Welcome Home oc that I haven’t made much art of, but I do have a piece I’m still working on since I’m not as hyperfixated on WH but still enjoy seeing art of it. April is of an AU version of my Marvel oc Molly (I know what I said in the og post with that art, but I’m considering it an AU version of Molly to just add to the different version I have of her). May is art of my TWEWY oc Kotone after she becomes a reaper. June is art of my FNaF oc Kelly in her new daycare uniform. July is art I made for my SU art blog, which is art of an AU I’m occasionally working on because I have too many ideas to ever commit to one thing lol. August is a redesign of my RC9GN oc Clarissa. September is art I made for a friend. October is art of my TADC oc Odette, who I’ve never posted on tumblr because I keep forget to lol. November is actually the outlier of everything on here because I technically started it years ago, but only finished it November 2023, so we’re just going to accept it into the bunch. December is art of an old oc that used to belong to a friend of mine, but she’s given him up to me since she doesn’t do art anymore and I couldn’t just separate him from his girlfriend (my oc Lucy). Plus he’s apart of the first ever oc universe I ever created (with my friend).

Now onto my latest unposted art!

First we have is Annalei! She is a character I made based on my friend. Originally it was a trio thing, but now it’s just a duo (because of drama I won’t get into on here since it’s the new year and we don’t need that drama again). Anyways, she is an angel who acts as the guardian angel of my character (who I haven’t drawn yet) Nikki. The two actually live together as roommates with Annalei trying to help guide Nikki down a path of good. I made this piece for my friend for Christmas because I thought she’d like it (she loved it). I don’t have a lot developed for this universe because of reasons, but I’ll eventually get around to developing it more.

Next we have Odette. She is my The Amazing Digital Circus oc I made after falling in love with the pilot of tadc. She is based off a ballerina music box I have that belonged to my mom, plus my childhood love of ballet, and ball jointed dolls (since tadc gives off a whole toy-box vibe). She named herself Odette because it was the one thing she could remember from the real world. Ironically, she is living her worst fear because she feared being forgotten by loved ones and everyone she ever cared about. She hates that she can’t remember anything about herself and tries her best to find a way out, but doesn’t think too hard on escaping since she doesn’t want to abstract. She actually tends to stay hidden from the others, Caine doesn’t actually know she’s there, but is aware of her room. The others know of her room, but Jax was the only one to ever meet her until Pomni arrived. The other few things she does remember is how to dance, draw and sing (mostly through muscle memory). Odette has a weird friendship with Jax, but she doesn’t mind. Especially since she has social anxiety and making new friends is really difficult for her (even more so now that she has no idea who she is). This helps her with becoming friends with Pomni since they’re both filled with anxiety and the desire to leave. Though Odette does her best to help Pomni out whenever she can, hoping that one of them could leave at the least. When she does first meet Pomni it was by accident on Pomni’s part. Odette had been dancing around in a place far enough away from the others, but close enough to still be able to see whatever adventure Caine has them all doing. The music playing drowned out any sound of someone approaching that Odette didn’t notice Pomni until the song ended and Pomni clapped at the performance, which caused Odette to freeze up and panic. Especially when she saw that it wasn’t Jax that found her. Luckily for the two of them this led to a friendship (one where Odette would do her best to protect Pomni from Jax’s pranks).

Next is of my Miraculous oc Dani. Maskerade (a play on mask and masquerade) is of akumatized Dani. The only reason for her getting akumatized is stress from her mother and everyone expecting her to be someone she’s not. Despite being a miraculous holder she would struggle with being akumatized because she knows that she’s just stressed out and there are ways to fix what she’s dealing with, but as a teenager trying to get her mother to just listen and understand her is difficult. Sometimes turning into a villain helps with getting the point across. Vespbee is Dani if she was the holder of the bee miraculous. I honestly went a little overboard with her hair, but I love it so much. Not much to say on it because it’s just a literal what if situation. Dark Swan is if Swanette got akumatized. It’s less likely to happen compared to Maskerade, but still possible because even as Swanette Dani has her doubts as a hero. Especially when she hears all the comments on how she’ll never be better than Ladybug and Cat Noir, not that she really cares but it hurts to be compared to other heroes. She’d be pretty dangerous because she’d be able to break away from Hawkmoth’s control and be an independent villain of her own control, which wouldn’t seem that bad but with her unlimited use of her abilities is not good. Especially because her miraculous ability is using her feathers to normally just brings out the best of person (like a trait or ability/talent), but an akumatized version of that brings out the worst in people and can bring out an animalistic/monstrous version of the person (practically turning them into a monstrous creature). Since she doesn’t have any goal other than proving that “yeah I’ll never be like Ladybug and Cat Noir”, which makes it even more difficult for Ladybug and Cat Noir to stop her. (She’s basically an eviler version of Hawkmoth)

Next we have is an AU idea I had for my DC oc Grace Kyle/Wayne (aka Catgirl).

This AU idea started out as “What if Catgirl died trying to become a vigilante like Batman to get closer to him in hopes of being able to tell him that they’re related?”, then turned into Grace swapping places with Jason and being the one to die instead. I plan of drawing what she looks like after being brought back to life as Crimson Cat (a name she gave herself) that has been trained under Talia al Ghul since Grace didn’t have any proper training to be a vigilante in the first place. Now alive she works on tracking down who killed her and getting revenge. It’s still a wip of an idea, but I think it’d be fun because of messing around with the personalities of characters. Plus angst for both Bruce and Selina.

Next we have the designs for my TMNT universe turtles. It’s a mix of 2012!turtles and rise!turtles, but with different turtles. Idk what else to say about them since I’m still working on that whole universe.

I’m adding this purely because I really love this design. This is Ozul Nightingale, otherwise known as the Boogeyman or Shadow Man, in his shadow/monster form. He’s the villain of my universe called Different Paths. He has the abilities to cause people to experience nightmares, slowly corrupting people into beings called shadow monsters, and brining out the true darkness in people. He was sealed away by The Council to save others from his powers. When he was sealed away he was put into an eternal sleep that could be broken by the blood of a pure-blooded shadow witch (a witch who is descended from Ozul that can perform shadow magic). To keep watch over him and prevent anyone from waking him a powerful witch, his wife, was placed as his guard, but over time she slowly became corrupted and became known as the Shadow Witch (who is the baddie for the most part of Different Paths). I haven’t drawn his human form yet, but I plan on doing it eventually. (Along with redesigning the main characters)

Next we have Barry and Aria. They’re just fun characters I made that are children of tumblr sexymen/women (Dr. Drakken and Shego). No, they are not related, but they do act like cousins to each other and we’re raised together by Drakken and Shego.

Lastly is my love Digger. He is being reworked because I’m basing him off of memory, but making him more my own. He is a ghoul demon creature that works in a graveyard. He’s a pretty chill guy and dating my oc Lucy (who is the long lost vampire princess). His family is a royal demon family that has constantly been at war with the royal vampire family because of things that happened in the past. However, Digger honestly doesn’t care about all of that and enjoys spending time working in the graveyard. He especially doesn’t react negatively like other demons (that aren’t in his immediate family) would expect him to react when finding out that his girlfriend is the long lost vampire princess (especially since it’s a big change for Lucy, who group up believing she was a weird witch girl that just was better with certain dark magic compared than other witches). He loves his girlfriend so much that her being from the “rival” family (it’s more the vampires that hate the demons) just means that they’ll be together forever. (Also he lets her paint his nails because it’s the only reminder of her that he’s willing to get dirty while he’s working). I do eventually plan of the two getting married, but that’s a future me thing to deal with.

Hello it is I connection terminated the random Tumblr user!

Ideas had:

Directly after waking upafter being controlled by a bunch of psychotic clowns for like a year Michael went to Henry for help. Henry built him the end of skeleton shell so he could do stuff again But also made Michael internalized the idea that his life is basically useless unless he does vigilante stuff. Also the idea that it basically didn't matter at all what happened to Michael himself as long as he could still walk and punch...

"Nightguar" Michael Is introduced at a charity event hosted by William. (I think he definitely has a "oh you have dead parents I have dead children isn't that so sad" talk with Bruce at some point) Also Tim is there. Then suddenly as Williams giving this speech about "Look at these new robots I made they have a criminal detection system will protect Any children who walk into my establishments!". When Michael bursts in through the glass ceiling and tries to kidnap/maybe kill his dad. But because The crowd and Batman don't know the context it just looks like scary villain came down from the ceiling and is now trying to kill nice children's entertainer William Afton. Basically Michael runs after that and has a little rooftop fight with Tim. Throws down a flash Bang and then runs away.

All of the fun times can easily disguise as humans everyone except baby is just really bad at acting normal. It's also not something they need to do much-

Michael has a lot of hang-ups about being the only non-human member of the bat family for so long. Like everyone else can kind of take off the mask and do normal people stuff (mostly). But Mike physically can't do that.... He also happens to live in a city where most of the metahumans are villains and most of the heroes are normal human people. He kind of sticks out and sometimes gets mistaken for a villain (Kind of a loose adaptation of the whole looking like William hence people wanting to attack him thing for cannon)

Whatever kind of ghost or something like that Michael Charlie and most of the other cast from fnaf are Makes anyone who is in the presence of them feel really Uneasy.. This kind of fades the more time you spend around the person. (This is a head cannon I have for normal fnaf too I just think it'll be fun here)

Cassidy's powers are based on how much pain herself and the people around her are in. Either emotional or physical. she shares a vessel with Evan (because it's easier To say then crying child) His constant sadness is A Perfect power booster! Five Nights at Freddy's: My longest love affair

Dear Aliya,

I know we have spoken at length about this, but what can I say? I always come back.

I cannot remember a time I have not be utterly obsessed with FNAF and I know there's probably not a time you could remember either. From day one I was enthralled, perhaps it was Markiplier's doing, but that is an entirely different train of thought.

Through the convoluted timelines, the constant piecing together of snippets and tidbits and everything refusing to make even a hint of sense, I've only wavered once in my love of the franchise. A dark time indeed, but I quickly realised the emptiness in my heart and fully immersed myself in my own weirdness continuing on to today.

How lucky am I that the movie has finally come out! After years of waiting, mostly thinking it was a rumour, I am fed so well by Blumhouse, Scott Cawthon and everyone else that made the movie possible. My rose-coloured glasses may be blocking deeper criticism, but we are all allowed one faultless glance back at our childhood and this has been my choice.

Shall we dot point? And stop me if I might spoil this for you!

Characters All of the favourites were here, as well as some I don't think I expected.

The gang, all beautifully done as costumes and a single animatronic by way of Foxy, stole my heart in an instant. Visual effects can be a tricky thing to handle so having the main characters be practical with only a few helping hands along the way was a choice I couldn't grin wider at. Jim Henson's Creature Shop, I salute you.

Seeing Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson) as Mike Schmidt was a crossover I hadn't anticipated and what a time for him. He must be seeing a surge in attention now, considering there's that new Hunger Games movie coming out that I absolutely haven't mentioned. A renaissance for him indeed.

Matthew Lillard?? In my Springtrap?? They wrote this movie for me xx What a gem of a performance, even if the twist was ruined because of casting sheets. I think this was the character they needed to nail because William Afton is the reason anything exists and it's safe to say they nailed him.

My brain sure did itch when I saw Elizabeth Lail, though I didn’t remember her immediately. Lo and behold I do know her and enjoy her previous works, just as much as I enjoyed seeing her play Vanessa! Welcome to the party, you’re earlier than we thought you’d be but no less welcome! I’m excited to see how any sequels plays out, her being here now means a whole new continuity.

Plot For the critics who called it paint-by-numbers, predictable and decidedly unscary I have just one question.

What movie did you think you were coming to see?

FNAF is a franchise that thrives on jumpscares and the anticipation surrounding that, which wears off the longer you're exposed to it. More importantly, it's an adaptation of a game that's been around for a good long while and whose target audience is kids and of course long-standing fans. It's a gateway for anyone new and slightly interested to check out the games, where there is a lot more to interact with given that games are an interactive experience.

That being said, and with a heavy heart I admit, I get where some of the complaints stem from.

Bits and pieces of the story were admittedly disconnected. A few plot points seemed to pop their head in the door, wave and then leave again. My personal sticking point was the aunt who I’m pretty sure died. I'll have to noncommital shrug about it because she doesn't get mentioned again, despite her prominence in the rest of the movie.

Lore Deeply engrossed as I am, I know that nothing is static in the FNAF continuity. A few things remained the same, which is great! William still gets springlocked, Golden Freddy is the most vengeful of the bunch, so on and so forth.

Some things changed.

William is now the father of just Vanessa it seems, no longer Michael, Elizabeth and a third child named ????? which I don't know how to pronounce. If more movies do happen, we're following a new-ish continuity which may further the headaches of the theorists (MatPat you've suffered greatly) but it gives me more content to consume so at least I'll be fed, fat and happy a-la-garfield style.

The books don't follow the games don't follow the movie don't follow the other games and nothing ever sticks or makes sense. It's a very standard affair.

EASTER EGGS

Oh boy was this movie full of fun little treats for the longtime fans! I felt like a zoo animal laden with enrichment activities, there was not a single moment I didn’t spot something in the background and wiggle with glee. I was a very respectful movie guest, no noise from me but I did swat my poor companion several times.

how would the animatronics (bonnie and foxy too) act when their sick with a cold (maybe a robot version of a cold)?

Hmm

Freddy would probably be the most cooperative but also not at the same time. Like "I know you said to rest but they just wanted a quick photo... I couldn't say no to just a quick photo!" kinda thing. Like sure, he's mostly complying but he's most likely to cut corners on it too because someone asked him nicely. Sunny and Moon's doctor and nurse act make him smile and he gets so happy when anyone pops in to see how he's doing. He's prone to using up hundreds of boxes of tissues because his nose always runs like a damn tap.

Bonnie would be about as cooperative as Roxy except a thousand times more dramatic. No he doesn't have a cold! He's dying! Obviously! This is the end for him! There's no saving him! He's doomed! His final wish is for someone to Rick Roll everyone at his funeral! When he's not complaining, he's sleeping or whining about how unfair life is. He's insufferable. Boy is he not suffering in silence. As such, he doesn't get visited as often as he'd like which gives him another thing to complain about.

Chica is just sad. She wants to be out there playing with the kids not stuck in here sleeping all day! It's not fair! :( She's so happy when she's visited and loves when they all give her comforting hugs and stay with her until she falls back asleep. She's not as upset if she's given a few fairytale books to read. She loves those things but can never find the time to read them so this is a great chance to get back on top of those. And if she acts sad enough, she can convince basically everyone else to give her a dramatic reading of at least one of them for her. She's pretty cooperative unless the doctoring goes on too long.

Foxy suffers in silence until someone stops him and makes him take care of himself. He's uncooperative in that he insists he's fine before sneezing the biggest fucking glob of snot and mucus everywhere and then coughing up his lungs. No one ever believes him. They put on a bunch of ocean ambient music and stuff and he ends up sleeping through most of it but because of his stubborness he's also sick for the longest amount of time. When this is pointed out to him, he conveniently falls asleep or changes the subject.

Monty is surprisingly the most cooperative. He just wants to be left alone so he can rest up and get back out there so he does whatever he needs to. It's joked this is the only time he actually does listen to what anyone tells him. He's extra quiet and just kinda lays there and listens to his visitors tell him about what's going on outside. His sneezes can shake the walls of the whole Plex though. He's so quiet and then he sneezes and jumpscares every single person in the entire building he's that loud.

Sunny can't sit still for shit. He's uncooperative as hell because he wants to keep moving even when he's sick. As such, he can be found napping in the most bizarre of places because he wiped himself out and decided the tube in their room was really comfy. They're a stickler for the rules until they're given more to follow it would seem. Can and will cry about not being able to play with all the kids until he's better and can only be cheered up with puppet shows, glitter glue and hugs.

Moon is like Foxy in that they won't admit to being sick until it's obvious. However, once Moon does accept that they're sick? He goes the fuck to sleep. He follows the intructions they need to in order to get better and doesn't strain themself. As such, he's often sick for the least amount of time. He doesn't complain outright, but his comments will have the undertone of complaints and sarcasm. Honestly, Moon being sick gives me the vibe of him sat on the floor, staring out of a window of the city as rain pours outside and sad guitar and piano music plays. Imagine that but the FNaF version and that's how Moon is doing.

DJ Music Man rarely gets sick but when he does he curls up in a giant ball in one of his tunnels and refuses to move until it's cleared up. His music sounds calm and relaxing but also unsteady and a little irregular in its rhythm. When he's visited, he's happy about it and really appreciative because he knows how hard it is for them to get up there just to spend a little time with him. He thinks it's sweet that they all did it at least once and some even brought him lil gifts! He's basically doing the DJ equivalant of a cat loaf in one of the tunnels, sniffling like a sad kitten. :(

The Mini Music Men are only cooperative for Roxy, Moon and DJ Music Man. Anyone else? Can get lost. They snuggle with those three as often as they can and when they can't, they're all huddled up together somewhere in the vents. Because they're so small and light, if they have a particularly strong sneeze, they can literally yeet themselves backwards a few inches which is amusing to watch. When they feel a bit better but still have the sniffles, they have a little game going to see who can sneeze themselves the furthest.

Friday Night Funkin': Indie Cross- Info for Upcoming Updates + Speculations

So, this is a compilation of Upcoming Information and some speculations that I have. Some of these I know off the top of my head, so feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but most of this info was grabbed from the Wiki and the interview Brightfyre (new director) did.

Brightfyre and DAGames are the director and co-director, respectively, so most info will come from them.

Most of this is regarding the weeks and bonus songs. Please note that information for unused/cut content and animations are not in here. This page will be updated as we get new info.

Confirmed Info

So, if you've been keeping up, you probably know that the next upcoming update will feature the series Hollow Knight- particularly, the character Hornet. Personally, I haven't seen Hollow Knight (although I will eventually) so I can't say much, but you can read about them here.

There are also songs for Baldi, the Binding of Isaac and Celeste (against Baldi, Isaac and Madeline respectively) found in the files of the Streamer build. Brightfyre has stated that they would be full weeks, and would just have them as bonus songs, similarly to what we have with characters like The Devil or Sammy.

The main weeks aren't complete, though, as Brightfyre stated for each update they aim to have one week, and a bunch of bonus songs.

Speaking of bonus songs, on the wiki page for Indie Cross it's been confirmed that King Dice will be one of the next bonus opponents!

Also, Cuphead and the Ink Demon are getting new and improved vocals! Chromatics aren't released yet, but they've been featured in the Mike Geno song "Crossed Out."

Confirmed Lore

So, as Moro was taken off the Indie Cross team, and most of the lore was his personal headcanons, they're basically rewriting the background story for Indie Cross.

What we do know, however, is that the weird figure seen in the intro cutscene is Nightmare Girlfriend, confirmed by Brightfyre, but there's not much to say as to why in the current story.

And while it's not really lore, and more of a backstory for the creation of Indie Cross itself, the whole mod is inspired by Brothers in Arms by DAGames.

Personal Speculations

Okay, everyone leave now, it's time for me to just make my own stupid personal inputs as to what I think is gonna happen.

As everyone knows, Shovel Knight and FNAF are both seen in the intro cutscene, and it seems as if they might be getting their own weeks, too? So there's a high chance of at least them being a bonus song, at most being their own week.

I think that games such as DDLC are absolutely NOT going to be in Indie Cross, likely because it already has its own major mod- Doki Doki Takeover- and it wouldn't fit the overall feeling that Indie Cross has.

I feel like it's possible for every current week to get a new bonus song in the next update- there's just so many options.

I personally believe that with every week, there will be a Nightmare song for that character. I doubt this will happen with bonus characters such as the Untitled Goose Game goose, because that is way too much power for anyone to deal with.

I think in terms of bonus songs, my best candidate for other Cuphead opponents would be Mrs. Chalice. We fought Cuphead, so why not her? Mugman couldn't find her in Knockout, according to what some dialogue I remember hearing said, so maybe not?

I would love for there to be a song with Chef Saltbaker, but since the DLC came out only a couple weeks ago it's probably not happening for another couple of updates.

For Undertale, I'm not entirely certain? Mettaton was GOING to have a Bonus song, but that was scrapped, yet there's still a chance he'll have a different song. It makes the most sense, too, considering in canon he would definitely challenge you to a rap battle.

The chance of Chara is low, but never zero. They've been done in FNF mods a lot, and according to the wiki they are barely visible over the locked symbol of the Bonus Week. There could be a Chara VS BF song that takes place during Burning in Hell, maybe.

And Deltarune also has a chance, but considering it's a different game they might not do a Deltarune bonus song. We already have a Deltarune mod in the form of Seek's Cool Deltarune Mod, though, so maybe not.

Finally, for BATIM, I'd say that Susie Campbell / "Alice Angel" is a pretty obvious choice. Most of the characters can't speak or communicate anymore, some of the ones which DO don't have a canon design and they wouldn't want to start a fandom argument or discourse, meaning that the only candidates left are essentially Allison, Tom, and Susie.

I doubt the first two would sing against us, and also, Susie is literally a voice actor/singer. There is no way that Boyfriend wouldn't challenge her to a rap battle.

So, for now, that's everything I have to say. Go ahead and correct me and/or tell me what your theories are for Indie Cross, because I love this mod too much to shut up about it.

UPDATE

Well, while Moro isn't working on any official Indie Cross content, if you skip past the first three (which are, of course, amazing and I can't WAIT for them, this looks so cool!) and look to the fourth one...

Well, this character looks familiar.

So, yes, it looks like Shovel Knight is confirmed to be getting at least an appearance, at most his own week! I can't quite make out what the text at the top says, it's very difficult to make out especially in the Indie Cross Nightmare font, so maybe I'll try to figure it out another day.
