Sony Playstation 5 Functional for The Sims 2

This is a functional PS5 for your sims, works like a game console. You have to manually choose the color for the joypads with the tool in buy mode (I think it's good because you can choose also different colors at the same time). Found in Electronics section for 1200 simoleon.

Ohh boy this one I discovered it on PlayStation 2 I used to watch my foster mom play it and I thought wow I wanna play that it looks fun at the time she wouldn't let me use the PlayStation 2 I was a little tacker as I got older I starting playing sims 2 on my very old desktop pc and eventually I was allowed to play the PlayStation 2 as she got herself the PlayStation 3 so I was allowed to play on PlayStation 2 and the first game I played on the PS2 was Sims Bustin Out and then it was Urbz In the City I was so excited when I saw that the band black eyed peas was sims in that game and that quickly became my favorite I especially loved and now miss it so much as I loved goin to each new district my most favorite was Neon East! even though Cozmo Street I got to be around the black eyed peas I also later brought Sims 2 Sims 2 pets on PlayStation 2 then I eventually discovered Sims 3 on PC and played that and Had most packs except a few Bridgeport became quickly my new favorite world and so did Moonlight Falls with supernatural and Roaring Heights as it gave me the whole Great Gatsby and 1920's aesthetic and vibes which ive always loved then came out Sims 4 I wasn't able to get it straight away but I did in its year before the packs we have now I felt it didn't hold my attention for long but then more and more packs came out which to me added more gameplay then it originally had but Sims 4 gave me that chance to meet the mutuals I have now I used to be so nervous to post but not anymore and ive continued to enjoy it :)

How long have you been playing the Sims? Since 2003, which was when the PlayStation 2 version of The Sims was released and I got my hands on it. Previously I had briefly tried playing TS at a classmate's house and I immediately fell in love with it (I remember that her parents were very strict, especially about screen time, haha).

From that point on, I started collecting all sorts of PS2 sims games because our family PC could not run any games at all. Out of all those PS2 games, Bustin' Out was definitely my favorite! So many good memories.

In 2010 I finally got a laptop of my own, and my sister's friend donated her TS2 + EPs to me - I was ecstatic! Custom content was available to me at last!! -  Among other features that were not present in any of the PS2 versions.

The laptop was not designed for gaming, and it often ran the game at FPS that made it look more like a slideshow, but I was still just so happy to be able to play it.

How long have you been a Simblr, and why did you become one? I started sim blogging at livejournal sometime in 2010, pretty much right after I got TS2 and learned how to post screenshots online..? In Late 2011 I noticed that other simmers started to migrate to Tumblr instead, and since I didn't want to be left behind, I also made an account here.

At some point I got locked out of my original Simblr, and in 2016/2017 I created this new blog.

What type of Simblr are you? 99% of my blog content is just screenshots from my own game. I'm currently playing two challenges on top of several, uh, "standard" sim families :D My legacies don't have a story around them, it's just the sort of chaos that ensues when you play with free will on. And then there’s my unfunny captions. Gotta have those.

The remaining 1% of my content constitutes from tiny bits of simple CC made by yours truly, and reblogs.

Which generation of Sims do you primarily play? TS2 now and forever.. TS3 was not my cup of tea at all, TS4 has some things that I enjoy, but I can't even remember the last time I played it ...

the sims 2 has been a lifelong obsession ove mine starting with the sims 2 for the playstation 2 which was a hand me down from one of my dads work friends in da city and i never owned a FUCKING memory card EVER so EVERY time it was time to turn the game off i lost the household i made so i had to start over EVERY time. and then i got ts2 deluxe for the pc and it changed my WHOLE WORLD and i made so many lesbian vampire families. there were two girls i based off of yin and yang. one had platinum blonde hair and the other had black hair and dressed accordingly. and they lived in that bigass three or four story townhouse and had piles of rotting meat sitting in the garage that i got from modthesims2 <3 and i STILL didnt know i was actuallygay until i was like 13.

So The Sims 4 is barely playable on my computer now, I’m thinking I might switch over to legacy edition, which means I won’t get to play with University or Tiny Living Stuff, or anything that’s released in the future. But at least I might be able to actually play the game. I tried to play The Sims 2 today, because I wanted to fucking play something that didn’t require me to shoot and kill things and I just keep getting a pop up that says: The Sims 2 is not installed on this system or some required files have been deleted. This expansion requires The Sims 2 in order to run, please install The Sims 2 to run this application.

Bitch! It is installed on my computer, I’ve never uninstalled it or deleted anything but looks like I’m going to have too since it no longer works! I’m so annoyed, like beyond annoyed, like curl up and cry because I’m so frustrated, kind of annoyed. My computer is running itself into the ground, I’m getting a popup every two hours letting me know that my antivirus program is going to expire and I have no way of reupping it, so I can’t even pirate TS2 because my computer will be completely weak to those malware riddled websites in a couple days and I cannot risk that shit.

I just really want to cry, I know it sounds stupid, but video games were my only source of stress relief and now I don’t have that anymore. My niece broke my playstation nearly 2 years ago, with my Dragon Age game stuck inside it! I can’t get it fixed because I don’t have money, I can’t get a new computer because I don’t have money, I can’t even pay for my medication because I don’t have money! I’m just going to take a fistful of pills and sleep for thee rest of the week, because at this point, I just have absolutely no control over my emotions and I know it’ll just cause problems because the emotion I’m mostly feeling is rage. I seriously wanna break something right now.

what is the first sims game you ever played? the first time i played sims was the sims 2 on my cousin’s PlayStation 2 :-))

what is the first sims game you bought? the first sims game i got was ‘the sims: bustin’ out’ for the PlayStation 2 when i turned 7. the first game i ever bought with my own money was the normal sims 2 for my PlayStation 2. still play both games but on my pc now 😂

what is the last sims game you bought? the sims 4 strangerville

what sims game are you currently playing? i play with a legacy in ts3 and ts4 and i’m also trying to complete the storymode on sims 2 for console.

what is your favorite world? in sims 2 it is pleasantview, in sims 3apploosa plains and in sims 4 it’s a tie between oasis springs and brindleton bay.

who is your favorite premade family? definitely the pleasants from ts2, i have a lot if awesome memories attached to them.

what packs do you wish you had in the game? well it’s a bit of a cheesy answer by now but i really would like to have university and a pack that is like ts3 island paradise.

who is your favorite sim you made? definitely penelope curious.

how many years have you been playing the sims? when i was 6 i played a few times when my aunt was watching me, but i got my own game when i turned 7 and now i’m 19,5. so for 12,5 years already!!!

when did you start your simblr? probably somewhere in 2015 or 2016 but i didn’t start posting until june 26th, 2017

1. what is the first sims game you ever played?

     The Sims (1)! I don’t remember how I got the game, but I wanna say around the time we got the PlayStation 2, a friend from my dad’s job was giving/loaning us (my little brother and me) some games since we didn’t have any, and either the game was his and he gave it to us, or something, but yeah o:

2. what is the first sims game you bought?

     The Sims 2 (for ps2) c: I became a fanatic with the first game, played so much of the story mode and free play, and I...used to watch dumb Sims videos on youtube (probably before SimTubers were a thing) and I saw that in TS2 you could have multiple stories in houses, so I had my dad take my little self to Best Buy to get the game. And was disappointed because in console versions of the game, there weren’t multiple stories :] Oh well, I then collected the rest of TS2 console versions because I didn’t have a pc of my own (I was just a bab). I then proceeded to buy the other games via console, on various consoles lol. TS4 is the first pc sims I’ve played.

3. what is the last sims game you bought?

     Sims 4: Get Famous !

4. what sims game are you currently playing?

     Sims 4, though I’ve actually been booting up the og ps2 and been playing The Sims lately haha.

5. what is your favorite world?

     I don’t remember much of the worlds in the other games because in The Sims story mode you kinda just bounced around in various houses and in free play you could name the town as a save file; Sims 2 you picked neighborhoods/lots but I don’t remember their names...? Sims 3 was the same but I did like this one neighborhood in Sims 3 Pets that had a little park nearby. But in Sims 4, I love almost all of the lots!! They’re all unique ♥

6. who is your favorite pre-made family?

     I’ve been playing the Goths since the beginning lol, but I also played the Newbies in TS1 as well! 

7. what packs do you wish you had in your game?

     I own them all...lol. Though, I do kinda wish I was brought up into the Sims community via pc versions because they probably would’ve given me more experience, so I wish I had those versions and packs etc? But alas I didn’t, but I was happy with my versions tho ♥

8. who is your favorite sim you made?

     Either all of my sims (Wynter, Kat, Rey, Kailynn, Xandra) but I have a few that aren’t public that are my fave as well c:

9. how many years have you been playing the sims?

     Since 2002 lol

10. when did you start your simblr?

     Roughly mid/late 2017? I had the original little-sims, but then I remade it into @little-sims and deleted the old blog, and now I moved to here as plasmavamp ^-^

idk if anyone else really played the sims 2 on playstation 2 but it was a wild fucking ride. 

i remember that you were able to customize meals by choosing the ingredients and mutton was the best thing ever because it did like +20 hunger. so i would have my sims blend the mutton into a slurry and throw it back like a shot. when i played ts2 on pc i was pissed that i couldn’t do that.
