Party Time!
Phew! I haven't done a juice keg since my uni days, but I've still got it!
I met Stella Striker in my first week working at the salon, and I had the pleasure of helping her pick out new swimwear. Tonight she invited me over for a house party! It was a nice break from the clubs. Intimate atmosphere, chance to meet new friends, good times.
One of the most exciting parts? Stella introduced me to Emmy Starr! I told her how obsessed I was with her style in I'm Dying, Lets Dance!, and she was impressed by my portfolio so far. I guess you could say I'm... Starr-struck!
Sorry for the lack of photos, friends. I was too busy living in the moment! So here's my tip for the week: Put that damn phone down and talk to some people! You have no clue who you might meet!
~ Love, Tami

Traits Project: Collection File Change Log
Tumblr media
Published: 3-2-2024 | Updated: N/A SUMMARY I try to reuse the original collection file for all trait-related items. Here is a running list of everything that it includes. Traits are organized into groups based on their game of origin and style. In each group, they are arranged in alphabetical order by their original name – keep that in mind if you use renamed or replacement items. Example: If you replaced kleptomaniac with swiper (Veronavillequiltingbee), it will show up with other traits that start with the letter K, not S. RECENT ADDITIONS: Aromantic, asexual, avatar/bending traits, elf, fairy, ghost, ghost rider, new and bonus traits from atomtanned, omegaverse, sunlight immunity, and more! ITEMS Items in PURPLE are queued for later release.
TS3-to-TS2 Traits (Hexagonal-Bipyramid, 2018), 3t2 Hidden & Unused (Dill, 2023), 3t2 Flippity-Flop Traits (Anachronisims/Sufficeittosim & Simmons, 2024), 3t2 style traits from Atomtanned (2025), MidgeTheTree (2019-2021), Veronavillequiltingbee (2021).
TSM-to-TS2 Traits (Simmons, 2025), Historical-Fantasy traits from Cedanyblee (2020), Laura & Mortia (2020A, 2020B, 2020C), Sun & Moon Star Factory (2021-2022; 2023), Fire Flower (2021).
Color Traits (Episims, 2022)
Music Traits (Fwaysims, 2023)
TS2 Sub-Hobby Traits (Simmons, 2025)
TS4-to-TS2 Traits (Simmons, 2025)
TS4-to-TS2 Youth Traits (Simmons, 2025)
SCLUV Virtues & Vices Traits (Simmons, 2025), SCLUV Townie Traits (Simmons, 2025)
SCLUV Supernatural Bloodline Traits (Simmons, 2025)
SCLUV Supernatural Elemental Gift Traits (Simmons, 2025)
SCLUV Supernatural ‘Other’ Traits (Simmons, 2025)

Supernatural traits from Atomtanned (2025), Jelly-Meduza (2019, 2019-2021, 2023, 2022-2024), MidgeTheTree (2019), Abiamalapizza (2024), Frac (2020)
A.I. Chip Traits (Simmons, 2025)
Midnight at…Division Traits (Ocelotekat & Simmons, 2025)
SimHealth Traits (Simmons, 2025)
COMPATIBILITY & TROUBLESHOOTING -If a trait item is grayed out or has a blank icon, you are missing the “trait_MAIN” file in your game, OR you have two items which share a GUID, OR the file may be missing a function/room sorting tag. -There is a GUID conflict between HB’s crybaby trait and their ‘Wannabe Moodlets’ mod (2020). You will need to change the GUID on the moodlet mod controller. DOWNLOAD (choose one) COLLECTION FILE from SFS | from MEGA Let it overwrite the other “traits_collection” file. All links go to the most updated version of the file. CREDITS Thanks: @chocolatecitysim for this idea. Sims2/Simming communities. I was talking to my coworkers about TS3, and how that game makes TS4 pale in comparison in some aspects, but the way it crashed and in game mechanics drove me batshit lol. The crashing OMG. TS4 in my case has been much easier to troubleshoot and doesn't crash for me as long as I keep my mods in check lol.

Finally in the mood to play some ts3, got comfy on the couch with the laptop I use to stream games from my desktop, and as soon as I was almost done troubleshooting Reshade which for some reason had completely lost all depth mapping since I last played....a hail storm rolled in and I had to turn off my computers 🙃

Hi! I recently found your high school diploma replacement for TS3 and really liked the modern look, so I installed it. But I ran into a problem. Whenever I hang the diploma on the wall and try to save my game, it gets stuck on an endless saving screen and just won't save, no matter how long I wait. I’m pretty sure your mod is causing it because my save file saved fine once I removed it.
Sorry to hear that! I'll ask around and see if anyone else has had this issue and figure out how to fix it. This is my first default replacement. I'll troubleshoot and get back to you. Thank you!

Hi! I was wondering if you had any issues opening ts3 after you updated?? I updated and can't open my game so I was just wondering...I know lazy dutchess launcher mod broke so i updated that but it still wont launch :/
Hiya @mollandia, no I didn't have any issues with the new update. I backed up my BIN folder before updating and replaced it afterwards (when I knew it would be safe to do so) so didn't even need to redo Lazy Duchess or Reshade or anything
What the update will have done is reversed any changes you may have made to your BIN folder and the files in it over the years. That includes things like getting it to recognize your graphics card. I would repeat that process, either the manual way for which there are guides, or via the GPU add on here: https://www.nexusmods.com/thesims3/mods/106
Give that a go along with normal troubleshooting things IE clearing caches and then let me know if you're still having issues :)

Default CC Won’t Load/Show in game?
Hello, I am having trouble getting “Default Replacements” to load in game.
My install of TS3 is less than a week old. I have all of the packs, patch 1.67, Windows 11.
I have added other CC and Mods of different file types (sims3pack, .package) successfully, but anytime I attempt to add a “Default Replacement” it does not show/load in the game.
The all of the CC and Mods that I am using is newly downloaded and patch appropriate. Everything else loads without any problems, All I am trying to do is add a Default Skin and Default Eyes, one file of each.
Both are .package files. I added them to my Sims 3/Packages/Mods folder and I also tried placing them in my overrides folder and I received the same result. Could it be something in the config or resource file that needs to be changed to accept Default Replacements? I’m not sure what else it could be.
I have also read through the FAQ, troubleshooting and how to install cc and other similar articles on the Sims Wiki. I’m not currently the most tech savvy but I can learn and follow instructions, if anyone would like to help me. Any advice is appreciated, thanks in advance.
Hello, thank you for messaging us, and thank you for all the game info.
As far as Custom Content goes, there can be several things causing the inability to load.
Sometimes it's as simple as Clearing cache from The Sims 3 folder. It is recommended to clear it every time the player adds new or removes any Mods or Custom Content.
All CC in .package form goes only into The Sims 3/Mods/Packages folder, or another folder within the Packages one if you're organising your files. Remove it from the Overrides folder.
Is your Resource.cfg file within your Mods folder?
Should none of the tips above work, move out your Mods folder to another safe place (say, Desktop, another Drive or external disk). Clear the cache again. Generate a new Mods folder by downloading one from Mod The Sims, or from SimFileShare created by SimsPlayer. MTS has detailed instructions on what their folder contains, SimsPlayer's quote on their folder: It has a resource.cfg file, an Overrides folder with Ccmerged.package file from NonaMena and ContentPatch.package from ZeeGee Sims. As well as some sub-folders you can add custom content and mods to. All that is included is nointro.package and NoBuildSparkles.package. –It works with All Sims 3 versions.
Place the new Mods folder into The Sims 3 folder. Next up, start adding .package files one by one to test them out. Use just one file to test if the game will recognize it. Of course, clear cache files before starting the game up.
5. In doing so, please make sure to check your files aren't compressed, zipped or actually CC for The Sims 2 or The Sims 4.
If nothing works, please get back to us with the new information from these things, so we could figure something else out. Below I'll leave you some website, forums questions and tips to check out just in case:

Love all your creatioins! I have a question, you said the olive tree was a paid model you converted for ts4, could you please elaborate what exactly you did since I would like to do something similar (but for ts3) with other items. For example, did you get the .obj model and uploaded it on blender, and then sims4studio? Not sure of the entire process, I am interested in making some quick build items so would love any guidance on how you did yours! Thank you in advance!
Hello, yes converting existing 3D models uses the same process as you would for any object of CC. It has to be manipulated in blender, optimized as much as possible for the game, then imported via S4S. Trees are very complex models to work with, the UV unwrapping portion is often a nightmare to deal with and they’re grossly high poly. 99% of models unless they’re specifically marked for gaming are high poly, and have overlapping UVs (not useful for a 2D texture map). The olive took 16 hours per LOD to import into S4S, for example, and it’s really not suitable for anything more than screenshots.
I have found you need to read and watch tutorials outside of the sims community, within blenders community to learn UV unwrapping, and I’m still terrible at it because I find it boring, tbh. Then you need to learn how to texture your objects well in 2D, and how to create your textures from scratch (also knowledge best found outside the sims community, and in blender communities).
There’s no one tutorial I followed, I have spent hours watching various videos as I come across things that leave me stuck, and I’m lucky that I have some sims creator friends who are far more talented than me who are available to bounce troubleshooting issues off.

Troubleshooting TeamSpeak 3 VPN connectivity
TeamSpeak 3 is a popular communication platform used by gamers, businesses, and individuals to connect with others via voice chat. However, sometimes users may encounter connectivity issues when trying to connect to TeamSpeak 3 while using a VPN.
One common cause of VPN connectivity issues with TeamSpeak 3 is the VPN blocking the necessary ports. TeamSpeak 3 typically requires specific ports to be open in order to establish a connection. If the VPN is blocking these ports, users may experience difficulties connecting to the TeamSpeak 3 server. To troubleshoot this issue, users can try switching to a different VPN server or configuring their VPN settings to allow traffic on the required ports.
Another potential cause of connectivity issues can be related to firewall settings. Firewalls may block the incoming or outgoing connections required by TeamSpeak 3 while using a VPN. Users can check their firewall settings and create exceptions for TeamSpeak 3 to ensure that the connection is not being blocked.
Additionally, users should ensure that their VPN client is up to date. Outdated VPN clients may have compatibility issues with TeamSpeak 3, leading to connectivity problems. By updating the VPN client to the latest version, users can potentially resolve any issues related to VPN connectivity.
In conclusion, troubleshooting TeamSpeak 3 VPN connectivity issues may involve checking VPN settings, firewall configurations, and updating the VPN client. By addressing these potential issues, users can enhance their experience with using TeamSpeak 3 while connected to a VPN.
VPN connection issues with TeamSpeak 3
Experiencing VPN connection issues while using TeamSpeak 3 can be frustrating, especially when trying to communicate effectively with teammates or friends. VPNs, or Virtual Private Networks, are commonly used to enhance privacy and security online by encrypting internet connections and masking IP addresses. However, they can sometimes interfere with the functionality of certain applications like TeamSpeak 3.
One of the primary reasons for VPN-related problems with TeamSpeak 3 is network configuration conflicts. VPNs reroute internet traffic through their servers, which can lead to changes in IP addresses and network settings. TeamSpeak 3 relies on specific ports and protocols to establish connections, and when these settings are disrupted by the VPN, users may encounter difficulties in connecting to servers or experiencing laggy voice quality.
To troubleshoot VPN connection issues with TeamSpeak 3, several steps can be taken. Firstly, ensuring that the VPN software is configured correctly is crucial. Users should check for any settings that might be causing conflicts with TeamSpeak 3 and adjust them accordingly. Additionally, selecting VPN servers closer to the TeamSpeak 3 server location can reduce latency and improve connection stability.
Another solution is to whitelist TeamSpeak 3 in the VPN settings or temporarily disable the VPN while using the application. This allows TeamSpeak 3 to bypass the VPN and establish a direct connection, potentially resolving any connectivity issues.
Furthermore, updating both the TeamSpeak 3 client and VPN software to the latest versions can address compatibility issues and provide bug fixes that may improve overall performance.
In conclusion, VPN connection issues with TeamSpeak 3 are not uncommon but can be resolved through proper configuration, selecting appropriate VPN settings, and ensuring software updates are applied. By taking these steps, users can enjoy seamless communication on TeamSpeak 3 while benefiting from the security and privacy features of their VPN.
Resolving TeamSpeak 3 VPN connection problems
Resolving TeamSpeak 3 VPN Connection Problems
TeamSpeak 3 is a popular communication platform used by gamers, businesses, and communities alike. However, users may encounter issues when trying to connect to TeamSpeak 3 while using a VPN (Virtual Private Network). VPNs are commonly used for privacy, security, and bypassing geo-restrictions, but they can sometimes interfere with TeamSpeak 3 connections. Here are some steps to resolve VPN connection problems with TeamSpeak 3:
Check VPN Settings: Ensure that your VPN settings are configured correctly. Sometimes, VPNs may block certain ports or protocols used by TeamSpeak 3. Try switching to a different VPN server or adjusting your VPN settings to allow TeamSpeak 3 traffic.
Disable Firewall or Antivirus: Your firewall or antivirus software might be blocking TeamSpeak 3 connections when using a VPN. Temporarily disable these programs and see if you can connect to TeamSpeak 3 while the VPN is active. If this resolves the issue, consider adding TeamSpeak 3 to the exceptions list in your firewall or antivirus settings.
Restart TeamSpeak 3 and VPN: Sometimes, connection issues can be resolved simply by restarting TeamSpeak 3 and your VPN software. Close both applications, wait a few moments, and then reopen them. This can help refresh the connection and resolve any temporary glitches.
Update Software: Ensure that both TeamSpeak 3 and your VPN software are up to date. Outdated software can sometimes lead to compatibility issues or security vulnerabilities that may affect connectivity.
Contact Support: If you've tried the above steps and are still experiencing connection problems, reach out to the support teams for both TeamSpeak 3 and your VPN provider. They may be able to offer further assistance or troubleshooting steps tailored to your specific situation.
By following these steps, you should be able to resolve VPN connection problems with TeamSpeak 3 and enjoy uninterrupted communication with your friends, colleagues, or fellow gamers. Remember to always prioritize security and privacy when using VPNs and communication platforms like TeamSpeak 3.
Fixing inability to connect to TeamSpeak 3 via VPN
If you are experiencing difficulties connecting to TeamSpeak 3 through a VPN, there are several troubleshooting steps you can take to resolve the issue. Here are some common solutions to fix the inability to connect to TeamSpeak 3 via VPN:
Check Your VPN Configuration: Ensure that your VPN is properly configured to allow TeamSpeak 3 traffic. Some VPNs may have restrictions or block certain types of connections, so verifying the settings can help resolve the issue.
Firewall Settings: Your firewall settings could be blocking the connection to TeamSpeak 3 while using a VPN. Check your firewall settings to ensure that TeamSpeak 3 is allowed to communicate through the VPN connection.
Server Ports: TeamSpeak 3 uses specific ports to establish connections. Make sure that these ports are open and forwarded in your network settings to allow TeamSpeak 3 traffic to pass through the VPN.
VPN Compatibility: Ensure that the VPN service you are using is compatible with TeamSpeak 3. Some VPN providers may have restrictions or limitations on certain types of connections, which could affect your ability to connect to TeamSpeak 3.
Update Software: Make sure that both your TeamSpeak 3 client and VPN software are up to date. Outdated software could have compatibility issues that prevent a successful connection.
By following these troubleshooting steps, you can potentially fix the inability to connect to TeamSpeak 3 via VPN and enjoy uninterrupted communication with your peers. If the issue persists, consider reaching out to technical support for further assistance and guidance.

Imagine sweating yourself, troubleshooting and web searching why Ts3 reads only one mod...

I've been playing Sims since 2000 and had my simblr since 2012. I mainly create and share truly recolorable patterns for the Sims 3 and work on new clothing meshes. I also help fellow TS3 creators troubleshoot and have tutorials and tips from the Old Days (and I am currently working on making new tutorials). I treasure my followers and enjoy answering comments and interacting with them. You will find lots of WIPs and posts about my personal mental health journey on my blog these days!
Weird question but could someone do a list of the old ts3 simmers that have played for 10years that are still active like touchmypixels etc it’s very hard to track them behind old cc reblogs on my end
Idk, a lotta the ones I talked to and knew well “back in my day”, are gone, sadly 😭, but we can try and use this ask as a blog train/role call?
Reblog ( and link if your simblr isn’t your main ) if you’ve been a TS3 Simblr for 10+ years. 💕

Back to world creation. I’ve come across a problem, however. I attempted to create a family with a band in it and then use porter to pack and unpack them into my world, but now that I’ve unpacked them and made them active, when members of the band are selected I no longer see a “Band” option in the pie chart interactions, which leads me to believe that the band aspect did not get packed. Is there potentially a mod setting or a cheat that I can use to automatically place sims in a band without using social interactions since in CAW the game is paused or is it a lost cause?
EDIT: It turns out you can in fact form bands using Nraas Master Controller when you go under basic options, select band, and add members. My last problem then is figuring out how to rename this band. Does anyone know how to automatically rename a band instead of using the social interaction?

So far so gooood!!
Tumblr media
Also, look at these goofballs.
Got rid of what I think the problematic CC was, replaced it, and so far through 2 different worlds I haven't had any crashing or issues with error 12. Though now that I say it is when its likely to happen right?
BUT I've saved multiple times. Opened "Edit World" a few times. Edited lots, edited sims, build & buy... also have multiple tabs open, opening folders, etc. etc.
So I have my fingers crossed my luck hangs on.
Oh TS3, you bitch of a lover.
