The Monochrome TV is probably the remesh I'm most proud of. It's pretty accurate to the original sprite and I was able to pack in plenty of detail.

Being an object from basegame TS1, it utilizes a flipped sprite, meaning that instead of rendering out four sprites for each direction, Maxis rendered only two, and flipped them to fill in the remaining directions. This ingenious method of saving space also causes the object to have a troublesome asymmetry when trying to translate it into 3D. I ended up putting the controls on the right-hand side since that is what I saw most when searching for references, which meant the antenna and protrusion ended up on the left-hand side.

It's also one that I spent the most time on out of any remesh, I was working on it off and on for about two years before I finally finished it!

This image was discovered by @s1ndle and @simnostalgia. It's a list of icons for "Interests" that EA was originally going to put into The Sims Online, but was unfortunately scrapped. The interests are as follows:

Il problema però è che i servizi pubblici di salute mentale stanno attraversando una profonda crisi, con lunghe liste di attesa e carenza di strutture e personale, per cui in molti contesti garantire assistenza continuativa non è facile né concretamente possibile.

forgot to say that i read whistles and oh my god i love the art in that comic. it looks so nice. idk how to fully explain it since im not the best at putting this stuff into words & idrk the terms despite being an artist but i love how it's "colored" and the composition so much. idk the grayscale coloring is just so cool and does so much for the comic. there's so many cool panels and it's just. so fun to look at (also a really fun read)

though it did just generally get me thinking about the art direction in all the different mspas which just spiraled into me talking to a server about homestuck and hs^2's art styles but i'm 100% not saying that all here but basically it just made me realize why i don't care for homestuck's art style shift and the og team's art for hs^2

like i mean i do enjoy the art style of both the later acts and hs^2 but they just nearly aren't as fun as early homestuck or anything else i've seen that came before it. i know there's probably a million posts fully talking about that sentiment (albeit possibly more negatively) but like. idk how to put it other than i liked how sharp??? it looked even in the lineless panels (like most of the troll stuff) towards the start

also if i start talking about whistles more ill tag it with #tso (team special olympics) since its under that catergory in the collection because i usually try to tag anything mspa with #mspa

The Bottle Lamp was the first thing I ever remeshed for FreeSO all the way back in 2017. It's what set me on the path to become a member of the team.

I revisited it a couple of times to update it with new knowledge and techniques that I had developed.
