Secret love in the citadel (one shot)

It was a beautiful evening in the citadel. The leaves were falling from the trees. The sakura tree is now losing its beauty with the cherry blossom petals falling down to the ground. The sun ready to set and be replaced with the mysteriously gorgeous moon, which is like a light to the dark, making the stars it’s followers out of the darkness. ‘I have fallen too, for this spectacularly beautiful moon.’ ((Mikazuki means crescent moon and that name was given to him because he had  Unique crescent moon-shaped “Uchinoke” pattern (= is a blade pattern created from its material’s differences in hardness) )) But my moon is also living in the morning too. Not into the night, not anymore!’ Lost in my thoughts… I shook my head to make those thoughts scatter around, be gone, for now. As I was standing in one of the doors in the citadel looking to the scenery, I’ve decided to walk around. From the corner of my eyes I had spotted some of my precious swords- no! My new family. They were doing some chores in the yard, laundry etc. or just fooling around, teasing the others. -Hahaha… I let out a laughter. ‘They are lively today too, ha?!’ I left them alone and continue walking. And finally find the person I was looking for. -Are you neglecting yours chores today too? Don’t tell you made the others do your work?? I put my arms in my waist. I was angry, but I said it with a teasing tone, putting a smirk. -Ha ha ha. The man in front of me started to laugh. ‘His usual laugh’ -No, Aruji(master), I have done all of my chores this time, and now I’m enjoying my herbal tea with peace and quiet. Would you like some? He said with a wide smile offering me a cup. -Where are you seeing the peace and quiet? The Nobunaga swords are arguing again. I can hear them from here. ((The swords that belonged to Oda Nobunaga, Japanese historical figure, a warlord. This swords are Heshikiri Hasabe, Shokudaikiri Mitsusada, Fudou Yukimitsu, Yagen Toushirou, Souza Samonji, Tsurumaru Kuninaga …)   -Ha ha ha. Let the youngsters enjoy themselves. He said with his usual noble tone but that personality gave him the nickname Jiji(old man) or Mikaji combined with his name. After that he put a warm smile. This smile made me calm down. ‘Ok, I’ll let it pass.’ -Ok then, I desisted to keep you company. I said with a formal tone to much his, and took a sit next to him. He then gave me the cup of warm tea. -It’s still early for a hot tea, what do you thi- Mikazuki didn’t even let me finish my sentence when… -There is always a time for tea, and also warm tea. Warm tea relaxes your muscles and calms you down… If you like tea you can enjoy it in every season. After his speech he finished with a smile watching the tea and not at my direction. ‘He really likes it that much?!’ -Then tea is like people. -What? Mikazuki now looking at my direction with confused eyes leaning his head in one side of his solders. -If you are spending the time with the people you like you can relax and enjoy your time with their company, right? I started to explain and let out a giggle. -Ha ha ha, you are right – you are right. He agreed with me, I feel happy. ‘…wait a seconds. Did I just say that I enjoy his company… did he think…? No, I’m just imagining things. Of course he didn’t think it in that way.’ I let out an awkward laugh, to cover the also awkward silence between us. ‘…The thing is that I and Mikazuki had some awkward moments in the past too. We had grown closer; I didn’t want to make choices between my swords, but… Mikazuki is different. I don’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings; I will hate myself if that happens. I stopped every time that we tried to take it to another level with Mikazuki, I think he feels the same way. -Mikazuki. I said breaking the silence. -Hm, what is it? Have you finished your tea? Do you want more? He is trying to cover the situation with question for me to not think he is ignoring me. But I sense that he is feeling the same as me. -No, I’m fine. Don’t worry about it. After some more seconds of silence again I spoke. -Do you really enjoy this silence? ‘I said to make him talk to me more. I know is wrong and I’m pushing him, but I want it too…’ He let out a sign. We left our tea aside. He put his attention to me completely, turning to my way. With one of his legs placed in the rōka (= wooden floored passages in the adges of the citadel, that are similar to hallways) that we are sitting in and the other still hanging, he then let out his hand to touch mine. -Look. I know is difficult for you and is more difficult for me. Please I don’t want to do something I will regret later. He said with a serious look on his face. -I,I understand. I lowered my gaze, with my feelings being crashed. He’s darkness is growing and along with his the night’s darkness around us too. -Mikazuki… I said his name with half breath. Now looking into his eyes fearfully. -I tried to let it pass too. But I can’t! Tell me, what do I do, please, tell me! I almost yelled at him and cornered him. ‘I don’t want to cry’ -Gah, I don’t know either. This is something unfamiliar to me too. He lowered his gaze. -I don’t want to hurt my light too. He said. I was in shock. ‘Did he really feel me like his light to the darkness?’ He continued talking… -I have experience a lot of sadness, pain and more painful being part of my dead master himself! ((This is a real event, Mikazuki was in his dead masters body (Ashikaga yoshiteru) when he was claimed from the Miyoshi family)) Changing masters one after another, and being one of the Tenga goken(5 famous swords) I don’t want it, I don’t want this life. He let it all out! I have never seen him before showing this kind of emotions. -Mika- -No! After being able to decide on my own for my life, being to this citadel, being freed by you. I can finally be able to seek peace and let my emotion aside and became a happy person. Thank you! You gave this new moon his light back. I smiled to his compliment. -But I will not let myself hurt my Aruji(master) that I appreciate too much. And I think everyone here thinks that! I finally responded. -Mikazuki. I really appreciate your respects to me, and from everyone else… but I will be more happy if not only me but also you are happy. I let out a warm smile like his, like the ones that makes everyone and me happy and calm. -Ok then. I’m sorry for my sadden outburst. Ha ha ha. I think he is back to normal now. I giggled. -If you let yourself out you act more like a child than the others. -What’s that supposed to mean?! Mikazuki said playfully. -I like this side of yours, makes me more close to you… than the normal ‘am always happy and calm’ personality. I giggled again. -Stop teasing me, please. I’m getting embarrassed. He covered his mouth with his sleeve of this other hand, because the other is still touching mine. -Don’t be. I let out a big smile in front of his face, with my eyes closed. Then with a sadden move Mikazuki hold me in his arms around me. -Ah?! Still being confused with his action I felt his face getting closer and closer.  I panicked, but I felt that I want it too, at least just once... He then placed his lips into mine. I thought it was gonna be it, but Mikazuki wants more. He bitted my under lip for me to give him permission for entrance. I let him in and with smooth and fast movements he explores me. We were ready to break the kiss for air but Mikazuki didn’t want to yet. Still wanting air he took small bits of air and pecked me twice before separating completely. We heard a noise from behind us. ‘No, the worst case scenario.’ I panicked and try to break free of Mikazuki’s hug but looked at Mikazuki turning his gaze to the person, I turned too. It was Gokotai. (The cute child with the tigers) Mikazuki placed his finger to his mouth… -Shh. Gokotai did the same. -Shh. He laughed and turn around and left. After Gokotai leaving I watched Mikazuki’s face still smirking. He realized that I was staring at him and focused his attention to me. -We are going to be alright, for now. He laughed. I smiled and laughed with him. ‘This is going to be our secret! Let’s see how it goes then.’ The moon as bright as ever brightens the darkness of the night.
