Oki now I'm curious about your Alfred (on totally normal and not simp wise levels) like does he always need to do deals and how does his lamp work and does he usually carry it with him?? Etc etc I need to know everything abt him pls 👀👀💚💚

All righty!! Imma be rambling a lot so first off I totally love him as well like he’s so messed up in a positive way OK well yeah I was mainly inspired by this Thomas fan film called MYSAERY-The Engine Prideful by Tines Sensahthe(where Alfred gets them glowing eyes) on the downfall and prices of greed, pride jealousy and envy of him being able to grant wish, anything you can imagine and desire. and then he wishes he wants, with it getting lost in translation or too straightforward it’ll happened instantly but at the price of him having your soul in five years or if you die earlier or within those five years/before they end he’ll come and drag you to hell.

The wishing tunnel is that he was literally the spirit of it and I like that idea so much so it’s basically the same concept except he’s one of “Proteus” ‘successors’ cause Proteus (he’s kinda like Gabriel) is an entity who came around the time Lady appeared and he’s kind of messed up entity who’s thinks humanity should be erased and recreate the universe again where he and Lady avoid each other, but he screws both Alfred and Kyle up really badly though they handled it differently albeit terribly more so on Alfred’s side.

Proteus comes in around the time Alfred gets booted out of Sodor for his behavior and nearly killing Cecil among other things(he’d doesn’t try and kill Gordon and Henry here cause he’s friends with Gordon cause family issues and lner solidarity go brrr until everything falls apart) and offers him magic and abilities to get payback for a price of course but then lady steps in and she’s like nope and as punishment, she puts Alfred in the tunnel so he doesn’t cause any harm but Proteus’s magic is still inside him so he acts like a jinn which is a big inspiration for his version cause he’s the opposite of Kyle so he’s a foil to him in their views on life and letting folks live or die and unlike Kyle who’s invisible to the naked eye and only seen by other spirits and that Kyle can’t really grant wishes while Alfred can be seen but he can only do deals and grant wishes to actually get out of the tunnel for a certain amount of time till he is forced to return cause he’s bound to it and later the teakettle he’s in.

Alfred’s for his part agrees with a majority of proteus’s views that they are selfish and this isn’t helped by people/humanoids whi when they find him got many greedy self-fulling demands that he will grant despite the consequences of their actions (he gets a thrill to see them fail and burn to the ground) plus a majority of the time they perished before the 5 years end and he gladly swoops in for his end of the bargain cause they’ll never escape if they even try and back out. On terms on how he gets along with the others he’s got rather mixed loyalties with Proteus cause he senses that he’s hiding some secrets well so is he he’s good at reading folks like that, he gets along well with Godred over bonding being trapped in one place for so long even when they fight and argue, torn between nervous and frustrated around Timothy he gets unnerved by him and got the worse relationship with Lucy,Kyle and Lady as they’re constantly telling him off over his treatment of the souls he keeps locked and trapped in jewelry(like the beads broach and earrings he wears)where Lady offend visits him and judges the souls he has so that they could peacefully pass on if they wish much to his annoyance though he’s too intimidated to do much he’s tried before it didn’t end well for him so sly remarks then.

Lucy is the Grimm Reaper, shed’s like Death from Puss and Boots Alfred’s messing with fate he’s taking advantage of others cause it makes him feel powerful and he’s doesn’t care about how harmful his actions are,she’s constantly trying to cut him off a few legs and both make arguments over how the other is literally burnt up and rotting (the glowing green and shadow hands Alfred has is from Lady, a punishment and warning while the scars are from fights he’s gotten overtime). Kyle, wowie they don’t get along Kyle will jump him whenever he has the chance cause Alfred and Godred kidnapped Stanley(narrow gauge/msr his boyfriend) and Alfred has tried to convince Kyle that’s all humans are terrible, cause they both fought in wars and that’s how Kyle perished right by the hands of humans (and how humanoids were more likely to be sacrificed and mistreated in humanoid au) and Kyle focuses on the positive aspects of life and he’s treated with much more respect and loved but Alfred constantly reminds how he’s bound to the lucky lamp and unable to be heard or seen by anyone they throws jabs at each other and poke holes in their views and he and godred constantly calls him proteus much to his annoyance and anger.

For for the lamp or teakettle part, he does need to carry it around but he mainly has others do it for him cause he’s kindave petty and mainly cause of the deal he and Thomas did cause Thomas was in a near-death experience but he can’t teleport around like Kyle does with the Lucky Lamp much to his chagrin but hey babysteps with unlearning unhealthy mannerisms.

Daisy & Mavis?

Ooooh, Sir Handel and Peter Sam have a fascinating dynamic. However, I don't really have much to say that others haven't already said, and probably said better. To the degree that I'm tempted to talk about their Trauma Responses, I have another ask about Sir Handel & Skarloey, so I think I'll fold these thoughts into that post.

So, Daisy and Mavis — love 'em — only wish they got more screen time!

("Screen" time. Do they ever have a significant interaction in the television series? I really want to be told if they do.)

Actually they only have one page in RWS where they exchange a word. But it's such a good page. Posting it here for the uninitiated:

Look at this mess. Look at this absolutely perfect bitchfest. There are a total of zero brain cells in this conversation. Venting to your work bestie and and letting loose your inner mean girl. A classic RWS dynamic! It's just the diesel (& the female) version of the Thomas and Percy relationship: They make each other worse.

But, they need each other.

But, they make each other worse...!

Despite their lack of screentime following this, you cannot convince me that these two don't remain peas in a pod, just like 1 and 6 after 6 is transferred to the branch line.

I do think it's rather sad that Mavis is holed up in the quarry. :( There's a real bummer of a line when she appears in a later Christopher story...

"Besides, she sometimes finds it dull up at the Quarry with no one to talk to but trucks." I know it's realistic, but I want better for her. LET 👏 HER 👏 OUT 👏

Once smartphones became a thing, I like to imagine that they videocalled from the quarry to the carriage shed every night. (Annie, Clarabel, and Henrietta are very understanding about this when the call lasts half an hour. If ever the workers try to indulge Daisy and Mavis with a longer call, however, the coaches start murmuring...)

One great thing about this convo is that it's the first time I feel like I'm really, genuinely looking at lasting steam/diesel coexistence on Sodor's 'big railway.' Coz this is a target Awdry has been trying to hit for at least a dozen books now, yeah? Due mostly to his publishers' pressures, he's been trying to have beloved diesel characters while keeping his 1920-cosplay steam railway too, and this is where I think he finally hits the target. Daisy's first appearance was hamstrung because the turning point where she changes her haughty new-engine attitude and where the others accept her despite all the shit she's already pulled is off-screen, we're just told "they're friends now" and have to be all "right. sure." Probably because he got negative feedback on his Daisy hash, Awdry played it suuuuper safe with BoCo and Bear — less so Bear, but that's another post; for now I will just say that in contrast to Daisy they are presented as very clean-as-a-whistle, and their acceptance by the railway is made so much of that it doesn't feel natural, they both feel like one-offs. But then, ahhh. Now we've got Mavis, and Awdry has the bright idea to let her talk to Daisy, and BANG. Now we're here. This doesn't feel Informed, or starch-and-stiff, or tokenistic. You read this and you're like oh, yeah. Even the sleepiest branch line on this railway is now part dieselised. They're acting like characters! Everybody is acting like squabbling coworkers! It's like sinking at last into a warm relaxing soak. Ahhhhh. Here's the good stuff.

Because they don't need to be Representatives of dieselkind? They can just kinda suck for a moment, without being villains? When TVS subs out Daisy for Diesel, it automatically gives this conversation a sinister air. He's the devil on Mavis's shoulder. But in the original, there's nothing sinister here; it's homey. They're just venting to each other. Their behavior is kinda crappy, but also very normal and recognisable. New work besties fr. They are both three drinks in.

Daisy: He said what to you? Omg babe. I cannot believe that old garden shed said that to youuu.

Mavis: Right?????

Daisy: raising a glass Anything steam engines do, we diesels can do BETTER!

Mavis: hauling herself a bit unsteadily to her feet so that her gesticulation can be its most dramatic and sweeping You are RIGHT and you should SAY IT!

(Narrator: mildly ... Daisy was not right and, being probably the most specialised and least versatile engine then on her railway, she definitely should not have been saying it.)

Now, I've always had a question here...

Did Toby really say that only steam engines can shunt trucks?

The text indicates only that he was annoyed that she kept re-arranging things, they had a tiff, she rejected his input and left.

Then again, the text doesn't reveal that Percy calls Mavis's shunting "a ---- ------ ------ mess!", so, y'know. We get the minimum detail necessary in these stories. ;)

We never see Toby express any such sentiment about diesel engines. I'm inclined to think he never said this — and I suspect we're not supposed to believe he said this, only that Mavis is in stroppy teen mode and exaggerating and embellishing her grievances to the point where she's straight-up making shit up.

Still, I'm not sure. Usually in the RWS if a character is lying they are slyly or explicitly called out for it in the nearby text and this time the claim is just... sitting here.

Ultimately, I don't think he ever said that to her, but (considering how salty everyone on the Ffarquhar line can get: some have quicker fuses than others but they're all so provoke-able) I don't think Mavis just made this up completely. If she were making up stories from whole cloth, that would be... well, that would be 'Devious' Diesel behavior! I suspect, however, that Toby and Percy (comparing notes on her shunting) are at least thinking it, or have said it to each other, and Mavis has picked up on these vibes. All of which would be incredibly realistic.

Anyway, I bring this up because the answer does color my read of this conversation a little. If Mavis is completely making up attitudes that Toby never dreamed of having, and Daisy just eats it up and eggs her on, that makes this conversation somehow even 10x messier (and somehow I'm still rooting for their friendship). If this is a sentiment that is real or implied when Mavis or Daisy annoy the other Ffarquhar engines (and they can both be annoying, no question) then the bond between these two characters, with their very different personalities, just becomes even more 'understandable.'

Anyway, about those differences. Mainly, Daisy is ultimately very conventional. (This reminds me I have a nearly-finished essay about Daisy lying around somewhere. For now...) Mavis is the original, creative one, the mover-and-shaker. All Daisy's initial behaviors, as Hazel observed recently, are things we've seen from proud new engines before! She wants lots of attention, she boasts, she tries her damnedest to get out of work that she thinks is beneath her. What Mavis wants is to improve things, to have more responsibility, to get to stretch her wheels. Furthermore, Daisy by nature is keen to avoid work that's too heavy (she's a railcar with limited pulling power, so, you know, understandable); Mavis doesn't mind work — she just doesn't like being told how to do it, and she doesn't like being bored!

A point where they can be contrasted is in how they accept Toby's help and friendship at the end of their initial... "arcs." (All right, Daisy's "arc" is ended so clumsily that you can barely call it that, but you get me.) I'm not saying Mavis is devious or calculating, but for her Toby's offer of friendship is just as important as a pathway to her getting out of the quarry sometimes as it is for his forgiveness. It is her ticket out. For Daisy, Toby's offer of friendship was important because she wants friends, now she's making a friend yay!! — and I think that was pretty much it. Daisy just wants positive attention; that's what all her 'modern and right-up-to-date' stuff was about, but that failed to get her the positive attention she wanted and it turned out that being a team player did, so she had little trouble re-orienting herself. She resisted the pressure of everyone on the platform for her first train because she clung to the memory of her friend the fitter, but I don't think she's one to resist peer pressure in general, and as time passed and the Ffarquhar line residents became her peers, it was completely inevitable that she start to conform to their ways.

So (although, again, annoyingly — we aren't shown) I reckon that Daisy panicked after Percy's accident when she realized that she would be in trouble too (all right, someone probably had to point it out to her). And so for the first time she pitches in and does some hard work. Toby can't help but own "you did well to get all your half cleared, Daisy" and Daisy's entire system lights up because compliment, baby!!! That's all she ever wanted. She's Toby's man now (so to speak).

I can also easily imagine that, in trying to get adjusted to Mavis, Toby remembered how thing went last time. He must have tried from the first to tell himself, through slightly gritted teeth, "Just find something to compliment the new engine on, just anything. Helps build trust." But he was stymied twice over. 1) She keeps re-arranging the trucks in some crazy-ass unapproved way and he can't find ANYTHING nice to say! 2) It wouldn't have worked, anyway. Mavis wouldn't have been satisfied with just some friendly attention. Mavis wants to do. shit.

Mavis is bright — possibly has little common sense, but she's bright. I do wonder sometimes if her shunting arrangements are actually bad, or if they're just different and Toby and Percy can't adjust. (The text does own that due to the siding arrangements it's inefficient to put the trucks where Toby expects them. She probably does optimize things — from her point of view, anyhow.) Either way, though, here is an active and creative mind at work. Plus, her ploy to slo-o-owly expand her pathway down the line in "Toby's Tightrope" shows long-term planning, which is hardly something we've ever seen any vehicle do! So yeah, she's well above-average bright for an engine.

Hilariously, in Their Own Scene she is easily impressed by Daisy's lofty confidence (another classic RWS dynamic — it's giving Duncan staring amazed at James's boasting), but she's also super young, hasn't been Toby-fied yet, and in short I expect that as the years go by Mavis is likely to see Daisy as less of a role model and more of a crony/partner-in-crime. Daisy might instigate things sometimes — but she needs Mavis and Mavis's bright ideas before she really makes much headway! And I expect Mavis is often the instigator anyway. In her literary-device role of Second Coming of Thomas (Dieselised Flavour), she probably continues to want all sorts of things that engines aren't supposed to pine for (silly stick-in-the-muds!) Daisy is quite content to grumble but put up. Mavis will find a way to make stuff happen.

(Which is the only explanation we're going to get for how Mavis is at large on every quarry and some not-remotely-a-quarry sets on the island, come TVS!)

That was a light rap on the TVS there, but not a very hard knock; at least TVS insisted (in spite of all logic) on using her character for stuff. Christopher lets me down, personally, by finding so little for Mavis to do — and never having her and Daisy interact! I want more of this shit so badly.

However, in the Author's Note of Thomas Comes Home, Daisy apparently has a bee in her bonnet about fans who think the series has no female engines and is like 'me and Mavis tho!!!!!!' Which... I like seeing Daisy mention Mavis. That's all. It assures me that they’re still a duo (although I prefer Wilbert's interpretation that they bond over being The Two Diesels On This Line vs. Christopher's implication that their bond is being The Two Girls On This Line).

      Lucy was an engine who once worked the vast mining network in the mountains that connected to one of the Old Railways. Though she was abandoned many years ago, she’s been restored to working order by Burnett Stone, and now runs special tours connecting from Thomas’ Branch Line to the Old Mines in the hills. Though the life she lives is not the same she once lived many years ago, she is still the same Lucy through and through.

[[HISTORY]]

      Lucy arrived on the Island in the 1880s, purchased by the Muffle Mountain Mining Co. to take heavy wagons from their mines to their marshalling yard at Maithwaite. She worked this yard for many years, and was quite content with the arrangement. Not long after the end of the Great War, the North Western Railway would turn their attention to the mineral deposits along Anopha Fell, and extend the nearby branch line north to Ffarquhar.

      It was at this time that Lucy first met Thomas and the Coffee Pot engines. Though Lucy got along fine with them all, her owners weren’t too keen on the Fat Controller’s relationship with the Ffarquhar Quarry Company, and feared they were in cahoots to try and run them out of business. By the Great Depression, however, neither had to worry about the Mining Company, for they were near bankruptcy, bar the one mine they still operated.

      Lucy worked hard during this time, but it wasn’t enough to make ends meet, and before long, the minerals ran dry. Her owners, not wanting to part with her, sheeted her away in a far-off corner of one of the old quarries, where she lay for many years. Over time, nature would reclaim the mineshaft she was kept in, and she was buried within for more time than she can recount.

      However, many years later, she was discovered by Percy and Donald, and she was taken to Crovan’s Gate to be restored. It was a long, arduous process, but eventually, she came to, and now works happily along her old line.

[[THE HISTORICAL SOCIETY]]

      The Muffle Mountain Historical Society is a group of enthusiasts & local townsfolk from Maithwaite who have restored the mines near the town as a historical site. Their founder, Mr. Burnett Stone, was the grandson of the Mining Company’s Foreman, and is a tirelessly dedicated man.

      The Society is one of the biggest factors in the Ffarquhar Branch’s continued service, second only to the various quarries up in Anopha Fell owned by the Ffarquhar Quarry Company. They’re quite close partners with the North Western Railway, and often organise special galas and rail tours for the branch to bring in visitors.

[[THOMAS & LUCY]]

      Thomas and Lucy were firm friends back in the early days of the Branch Line, though they did start off on rocky footing. Bar the Coffee Pots, Lucy was the only engine Thomas felt comfortable confiding in about his personal troubles, and Lucy the same with hers.

      That relationship has shifted, unfortunately, since her restoration. For while Thomas remembers his time with Lucy, the same can’t be said the other way around…

[[FLARE, FLICKER, FADE]]

      Simply put, the Lucy we know today isn’t the same Lucy who originally worked for the Muffle Mountain Mining Co.

      At some point during the Great Depression (believed to be around the time of the Great Sodor Strike of ‘33), the original Lucy passed away*. Her body was kept working by the Mining Company for a few years afterwards, though it certainly did limit how much traffic they got with the Fat Controller. When the Historical Society found what remained of her in the old mines, they still sought to restore her to order, if only cosmetically so they could at least give her the respect she was due.

      However, the strangest thing occurred one fateful evening when Thomas was visiting the Works for a brief check-in. When the sun went down, Lucy’s body had no face, but when it rose the next morning, there was Lucy! Young, bright-eyed Lucy with not a memory in her head about working for Muffle Mountain or ever coming to Sodor before.

      It was a bittersweet occasion, but Lucy was given the space needed to come back to work. However, every so often, Lucy does seem to remember murmurs of her past – never quite clearly, but just vivid enough to recollect some details. Sometimes they’re nice to think back to. Others… She doesn’t like to talk about them.

      *Some of you may recall, Mean-Scarlet-Deceiver made a post a while back about how engines pass away, as well as a follow-up regarding ‘reincarnation’.

[[THE RENEGADE DIESEL]]

      Shortly after being restored into working order, Lucy had the utmost fortune of coming across one of the most dangerous engines to ever roam the rails on Sodor & the Mainland - Cockade. Their first encounter was… unsettling, to say the least. Lucy had accidentally stumbled upon one of Cockade’s hiding spots, and gotten damaged in the process, but no one would believe her when she claimed it was another engine that had done it to her.

      It wasn’t until Jamie’s near-death experience at the Smelters’ Yard that things turned for the worse, and the engines of the Ffarquhar Branch took it in turns to stay with Lucy to make sure Cockade wouldn’t try anything funny. This, of course, culminated with her and Thomas being chased down by the mad diesel on the warpath. The two made a run for it from the Big Station and made a mad sprint down the Main Line until Cockade derailed near the Viaduct, nearly falling into the river below.

      Though the Works Diesel insists that Cockade has been dealt with and won’t be a problem again, Lucy still fears otherwise. Cockade cheated death once before… who’s to say he may do it again?

After she was Build Lucy worked the first 3 years of her career as a nameless Locomotive on the GNR until she was loaned in late 1916 to the fledgeling NWR. There she arrived on the 5th of September with a consist of 4 and 6 wheeled carriages which the GNR had sold off. At Vicarstown she was greeted by a surprising familiar shape of a J23 (later J50/1) and the current Director of the railway. From here she was put to work on the mainline between VIcarstown and Tidmouth on mixed traffic jobs. During this time, she gained her Name lucy as shortened and gentrified version of Lucifer as she was to put it in the words of the workers “a right Devil” do to her sarcastic, slightly sadistic and very Schadenfroh character some may ask why was she not send away. For one it was war and for second while she had her fair share of problems, she is also a hard worker and still cares a whole lot about those she has bonded with and considers friends. The most prominent of these bonds was the before mentioned J23 or more simply Thomas, whom she saw as a little brother and mentored the best she could while also giving him some support when he needed it. She had to be returned to the GNR in the middle of ’22 in preparation of the grouping. When she was sent back to the GNR the fat Director made an inquiry about purchasing her someday as she had left in good Graces this resulted in a note in her paperwork that if the LNER or any following reorgenist railway in which the LNER was part of that should Lucy be withdrawn for no accident related reasons there should be asked the NWR if they are still interested in her. Of her time on the LNER is not much know but we know that her last MPD in LNER days and therefore her first BR MPD was Colwick this was incedently also her last MPD before transfer to the NWR which happened in late 1959 with Lucy being send to Doncaster for a light overhaul after this was completed she was send with a Sodor bound freight to her new home where she arrived on the 5th of January 1960 to much cussing of Henry.

Sorry I've been busy recently! But I did manage to design this OC girlie:

Lucy (the Metropolitan Engine)

She's the result of a team effot by Gresley and H. G. Ivatt to create an improved version of the LNER K3, who would eventually lead Gresley to develop the LNER K4. After completion, she was kept by Ivatt to work on the LMS railway with her crimson coat before eventually ending up on Sodor to stay.

She can come off as a bit snooty from the outside, but is a kind and hardworking engine who tries to befriend others. She doesn't care much for competing against others or trying to bargain off unpleasant jobs, but gets overly emotional if another engine is mean to her.

I have this app called Monster Girl Maker were you can make girl ocs on it,I made some cause I was bored and I love it :)

This one is named Lucy and I kinda just messed with her some and created this cutie, I'm kinda just making up her story as I type so bare with me XD.

Lucy is a plant and night dragon hybrid,She has mostly plant abilitys than night ones and can grow flowers and ferns from her body,She can grow any type of plant and she likes using it to express her emotions more like for example...

🌹Roses mean she's passionate and romantic🌹

🌵Cactus's mean she is protective and is useing them as defenses,You can touch them of she trust you enough in which they become soft and not painful🌵

🍁Fall leafs means she is relaxed and calm🍁

🌱🌺The flowers you see on her know means she is extremely excited and happy and is ready to play or have fun🌱🌺

🥀Tilted flowers,Plants or dead plants means she is sad or depressed 🥀

Lucy's night dragon powers are that she can blend into the night sky and make her skin look like stars in the night,She also can fly without the use of wings and can teleport also.

She can be used as a ttte oc so I'll put her info on here.

Luna was found by the Thin controller and was brought to the Fat controller,They agreed to keep her cause she would be very useful and the fact that most of sodor's residents are freaking non human and are way different.

Luna meet the mainland engines and almost immediately got excited when seeing Henry and got really close to him,She does however work at the steam works along side Kevin and he others helping getting high items and helping with things that are related to plants.

⚱️🪦⚰️ The Grim Reaper Herself in the Flesh:

Lucy but make her a nomadic cryptic urban legend myth shadowy lady with her antlers being her hair and covered in red spider Lillie’s for death representation 

I was originally gotta make her a biblical accurate angelic creature like Kyle and Lady but I leaned more towards this cause I feel like she doesn’t want to draw attention to her self and blends into the background, wanting to be seen as more welcoming cause let’s face it no one wants to see an creature with multiple eyes watching your deathbed. (Though she  has a form like that cause her life was cutted off and brutally dies-)

Plus imagine doing a night train and spotting this cloaked rotting corpse with gold dust eyes staring right at you from the forest- there’s a slight 50% percent change you might be next if your time is up-but it’s a good things she is actually very polite and sweet once you get to know her underneath her cold exterior even if a majority dislike her (especially towards children and animals) if you’re not Alfred or Godred….

Nothing to see here folks!! Just a completely normal moody, rebellious, deadpan, snarky and sarcastic teenager with a totally not mysterious and very shady past he escaped from and not made a deal with a phantom he lives with.

Anywho here’s a quick doodle of Fred Casey Jones!  Lore Tidbits Down Below: 

Best way too describe him is a combo of Louie Duck, Fred and Casey Jones (heh pun) mixed with L and Donatello. (where did ya think I got his hairstyle from? And the bag eyes poor teen needs some proper sleep 💤)

Rumors say he’s was a delinquent who has worked underneath a certain mobster gang overlord as a delivery/errand boy after being taken in from the streets, he wore a mask (which I’ll draw later) and prefer to use his spiked baseball bat or hockey sticks packed with exploding smokebombs pucks that he made and decorated himself. 

A hacker and video game expert 🎮 and lover, has once accidentally hacked into the government. In his defense how was he suppose to know that the coding looked like a video game (his boss 100% approves and supports his interests growing up after staying for a while)later the spirits and the narrow gauge support him as well

 Ended up going in Sodor in order to help prepare for a plan and finds out about the supernatural after a encounter with a certain zero spirit made him realize that even though he’s super grateful for being rescued, he didn’t wish to live a life of crime especially after discovering what exactly his boss does(he was never told, they were hidden away, the details were lightened up to him, etc) his boss isn’t searching for him 

Ends up being sorta raised by the spirits after this (cough Tino and Lucy cough) while also being quite independent and wants to help them in return as a favor, feels a great deal of depth towards them and attempts to try and find  gold dust or anything on tino’s demise

Is secretly very torn about trying to help them move on since he fears about being left alone again, feels guilt over helping a crime boss but pushes on after witnessing how much pain they were in

Lies about his age and other parts(excellent at pretending and lying, years of experience) in order to work on the SKR later on, manages to keep up the act and get away with it cause he was taught many things, is a night owl so tends to work at night (which is good for him cause now he can get more of his plans done) and thus getting more sleeping in 

Rusty slightly suspicious of him for multiple reasons while Fred is suspicious of Kyle (after he’s separated from the lamp) since Zero mentions a bloke called Proteus many times and say he preferred to call Kyle, plus Kyle’s appearance, Fred puts two together very quickly  and is currently trying to get Kyle to wish his spiritual family or get gold dust 

Has a notebook containing multiple information on the supernatural occurrence thanks to Tino including things about the other ghosts and gods Tino and Lucy know, is extermely protective of it 

Speaking of Alfred hates him for extermely petty reasons but can’t do much cause one Fred doesn’t care and can snark back and two, Tino and Lucy will have his head while destroying his body apart (Alfred still uses it to riled up Tino though and this leads to squabbling something that distresses Fred)

Personality and outfits slightly remain the same, dresses punk-fessional, is nice underneath his cool prickly exterior yet is a tiny bit reckless determined (something that makes Tino feel a twinge on..memories on someone he once knew?) tends to speak out his mind, is very secretive and occasional moments of grumbling laziness, jerk with a heart of gold

☠️1/29💀 Rip Alfred, having his ankles and knees broken by the Grimm Reaper Herself 🪦

(Alfred and Lucy’s relationship in a nutshell.) Alfred, maybe it ain’t a good idea to insult her loved ones and taunt her constantly. Girl is literally one of the personification of death, it’s a curve-stomp battle for Alfred who is absolutely slightly terrified of her but he can’t help himself.) Lucy constantly drop kicks him into the sun and decks him, with either weapons or a shovel and her trusty broom 🧹.

Lucy lore anyone?

thanks to her role at the Killdane Scrapyards, she wasn’t very well liked by some of her peers especially workers, passengers and railway enthusiasts/protestors. who has her working the job of collecting and delivering scrap, being with her fellow locomotives both steam and diesel when their time ends as a betrayal. They held resentment towards her for something out of her control.

Those were those waiting the final firing would weep to her, asking her what they did to deserve this horrid fate before spitting acid at her face, their expressions constructing into rage as they held her responsible for their end, stating she could’ve done more, that she took pleasure, what a horrid engine she was, of course Lucy have hear this multiple times and knows everyone has a different reaction to death 

those words get to her even though she masks it well and acts like it doesn’t bother her, doing her best to give them the best treatment and comfort she can provide, a majority reject, it doesn’t make her job easier than being blamed for everything, that’s it’s her fault, that she’s covered in victims blood and if she’s proud now

Eventually the rumors and whispers escalated into more verbal attacks to the point of Lucy being secretly threatened, very few knew except for her boyfriend and some close companions that didn’t see her as a murderer who kept a close watch on her and constantly offered her a spot in any sheds. She politely declined, not wanting to risk having her loved ones lives get involved….this unfortunately wasn’t enough to save her from her demise 

Her death involved thieves stealing her whistle and being burned via smelters pits while unconscious the entire time, as a now personification of the Grimm reaper, she retains her personality yet appearance has heavily changed yet very few know about her as a once living human/humanoid…instead they know her better as death

Yeah lucy and Timothy (ghost engine I call him Tino as a nickname) we’re kinda ve a thing in both human and the afterlife (definitely afterlife where they properly reunite with one another after their deaths years later and confess) like I love the different class between them and both bonded over being disliked by other for reasons they couldn’t control so they found comfort for one another and of course happy things come to a tragic end eventually….

死神: More Lucy!! She’s is slightly like the Grimm Reaper, taking folks when their time is near or their deaths are abrupt like hers. I based her spirit form off of shi fine maidens and her younger form is more mortician like. Bright eyed and younger before she went through hell…

Even as a ghost, she cleans to swept 🧹 and clean her scrapyards in her spare time.She tends to carry her scythe, shovel, and her coal truck her of gold dust. I’m leaning towards this designs after she’s attacked a second time.
