How did your Lady and D10 meet from your au?

They met a long long time ago they were very young. they were toddlers when they met, this was also way before Jackie moved to Sodor.

When D10 first met her she was in her true form which was a jellyfish and Dumbo Octopus creature, she was found by a very very swallow and rocky creek and since she was very young she needed water to live she was dying due to a lack of water, then D10 found her and saved her. They became very close friends after that. :]

and I will admit when I made the story of how they first met it was based on Ponyo :]

The many colors of Lady

I remember seeing someone's homemade model of Lady where they painted her blue and that gave me the idea to try different colors. Blue looks really good on her though i also like the red. Tbh I think blue fits her the best since it could be a visual connection to Lily's bluebird & the Conductor family.

Been a while? So here, have this I recently done!

Cara is Lady in my AU, she was built by Burnett Stone for his small colliery in 1918 and both he, his wife and the engine grew close to one another. So much so when the colliery closes after the war Burnett refused to scrap her and kept her in his shed. Waiting for something to happen.

It did, in 1978, a new coal mine was made near Toryreck on Sodor and Sir Charles Hatt, had heard of Cara and offered her to be brought for the coal mining company. An old Burnett was weary but knew Charles would keep her safe if she was deemed replaceable. She came to Sodor and worked in the mines for many years.

But the mines soon closed in 2008 and at last, she was purchased by the NWR to work on Ffarquhar branch line as a goods engine with Percy.

Also bonus one, Thomas nicknamed her Lady for her odd, less than feminine behaviour when they first met. (Hint, hint)

Traintober story.

One foggy night, Edward had to take a late night goods train to barrow and furnes, he had been helping Rosie and Phillip at tidmouth harbour all day and he was positively winded. It had been a quiet journey, but that was going to end all too soon. He had stopped at a signal for not more than ten minuets when he heard a ghostly voice call out to him. "Whoooooooo aarrrrrrrre youuuuuuuu"? The voice said. "Who's that!" Said Edward in a startled tone. The voice repeated again, "whooooooooo arrrrrrrrre youuuuuuuuuuu"? The voice said in a more angered tone. "I'm Edward", the blue engine said, "and I'm waiting for my path to be cleared". The voice boomed out, "NO! YOU ARE A COWARD! "W-what?" Said Edward in a scared and confused voice. "COWARD!" and out of almost thin air a purple 0-4-0 with a gold smokebox appeared on the express line next to him. It was Lady, but not like how Edward had last seen her. Her cheerful, happy self looked like only a thing of the past, now she looked enraged and furious. "What do you want!?" Said Edward in a tone that could only be seen as pure terror. "Revenge". the magical engine said. Edward shook. He shook so much that his crew could bearly stay on his footplate. "W-why?", Edward asked in a feeble tone. "You ran when you heard that he was coming back. You ran and you hid." She said. "You told not a single soul about me. It was only a coincidence that tank engine found me. But the engine to find me should of been you. And for that you will pay." Without a second more of thought Edward surged forward, his wheels digging into the rails as he did. He rushed through the Sudrian countryside as fast as he could. He screamed through Crovan's Gate waking all of the Skarlowey engines up. He flew through Vicarstown station and over the bridge to the mainland with Lady growing ever so closer. "COWARD! THATS WHAT YOU ARE! A COWARD!" Boomed the small engine. With every thing that was happening to him Edward felt like he was about to cry. But he couldn't because he new what Lady was doing. She was trying to make the water from his boiler turn into the tears that would come out of his face. She was trying to make him run dry. Edward had reached Barrow 15 minuets early, and he screamed through the station into a goods shed that was shrouded in thick fog with his breaks digging into the rails and his tires giving off sparks everywhere untill he slammed hard into the shed buffers causing his goods vans to have their contents clatter around with the sudden jolt. After a solid minuet of situation processing, Edward broke down into tears and cried. He cried so much that his fire had to be dropped as to not have risk of a boiler explosion. Edward cried and cried until he heard, "what's the matter, youngster?" Edward opened his eyes and looked to his side, and there, sitting on a flatbead next to him, was Duke.

Traintober Day 18: Blueprints

Ivo Hugh & Lady’s blueprints,Lady’s I basically just copied off from that one reference and the workers would be re-checking Ivo’s once they discovered he’s mute. Lady cause TATMR just has a special place in my heart.

Sometimes, I think about Magic Railroad and just imagine that Lady actually came from some kind of dystopian heaven for magic steam engines and diesels. Her old driver was dying so he just took her to Sodor, found Burnett when he was still a kid and just went "Here, this big magical steam locomotive is yours" and just fucking dies in front of him.

Also, Burnett's an American Briton.
