Pinchy: We need to go see the Portal keeper

Rose: OH going to meet the gods I'm guessing ? well go right head!

a ramble on my personal canon that turned into a ramble about the production and universe implications of the TVS and RWS

*cracks knuckles despite not being able to* today i shall talk about my personal canon for ttte/rws because i'm in the mood for an infodump :sunglasses:

you may be wondering, jade, what the hell is this supposed to mean? basically it's me trying to stitch a patchwork of the classic series canon, hit era, cgi, rws, and my own oc stuff to my liking.

...and i'll also admit i wrote this really tired, but I wanted to infodump so bad. putting the rest below the cut!

so far, my most simple summary of it so far is that it's mostly the RWS with the timeline of the model series. things from the RWS happen in the order they happened in the TVS (albeit not with the exact same execution as the RWS or the TVS all the time). Series 5's events happen, as do series 6's and maybe some of series 7's? But also, events that didn't get adapted to the model series happen, as to characters, such as Bear and two entire railways. I also wanted to take some characters from hit era and beyond, albeit I'm not sure I have a complete list yet.

I'm also including the UHR, aka the Ulfstead Heritage Railway, my original smaller railway that kinda... happened. Basically, a variation on Toby's Discovery happens, and the controllers of the railways, not quite sure what to do with it, end up with an offer from my oc, Tiffany Lancaster. She offers to run the track and perhaps then some as a heritage railway. Restoration ensues! It connects to the Skarloey, as seemingly shown in the show, and the NWR. I also decided it runs around inside Ulfstead itself and a bit further south to the Ulfstead Castle and The Mansion, which I'm using the RWS canon for and saying they're a preserved castle and mansion-turned-expensive-fancypants-hotel respectively. Sorry, no Estate Railway here... maybe, I haven't watched relevant CGI episodes yet, but something about a castle on top of a mine sounds horribly structurally unstable. But it's not like anyone lives at that castle anyways.

Other things I'm consolidating include: Toby's Branch Line and the Arlesdale Railway run near each other, like in the 2014 map of Sodor. I've elected to put Toby's Old Line on Sodor like in the TVS. James's red coat of paint comes after his accident, like in the RWS and CGI canons. Thomas just kinda Showed Up, like in the RWS. And Henry doesn't need the special coal post-rebuild like in the RWS, albeit he still might have some occasional problems.

honestly, i just wanted to write this because I was sorting out my OC event timeline for my fanbooks, realized I've been using the TVS timeline the entire time, remembered I had a personal canon, and then went wild assigning series to events and year estimates.

And, to be fair, in-universe, these stories were NOT written at the time they happened or anywhere near 'em until much later into my fanbooks, if at all. My stories are written in modern day both in-universe and out because of whatever the heck the Secondman got up to, so this is a bit loose! And setting them in more vague years, like the TVS did, might help me in the long run somehow. Toward the Christopher Awdry part of the RWS's run, more stories were written just so the TVS could have stories to base things off of, so I'm genuinely unsure if they're supposed to be records of a past year in the RWS canon or set closer to the year they were written or what. I may have worded that weird because I'm tired, but basically, if those stories were written to be scrambled in with the others in the early TVS, does that mean that they took place during different times rather than when one would think the books are set?

Despite being the guy who posted the links to RWS resources, I still don't know as much as I'd like to, LOL. And consolidating multiple canons, while fun, is tiring. What do you think patchwork and his siblings eat? Like what's there favorite food, since there not allowed to eat people. Not like they would want to in the first place.

Well just to let everyone know corrupted got a very strong immune system, they are basically cannibals so they can eat some things they would obviously make humans or humanoids sick, so even though the little ones don't eat people they still can eat things that can make us feel sick.

Patchwork- cereal, almost any human snacks, and spaghetti

Willow- A lot of marshmallows no matter what you do or where you hide them she always finds them.

Kai: Tater tots don't matter if they are frozen or not he'll just eat them

Moe: Bugs especially crickets, but she also likes Spaghetti with bugs, though everyone kinda tells her to not to eat bugs, she secretly puts them in her food so no one can tell her no.

Levi: very very mashed up potatoes, it's the only thing that he can eat without throwing up or can eat safely but even then it can be difficult for him to eat.

Proteus: *keeping a eye on his counter part. Seeing him slowly control his hunger for human and angel meat.* I'm glad you're working on your health and hunger my dear friend. *he said before feeling his kid pull on his robe.*

Other Proteus: Yeah I got a bit better....

*Patchwork he looked up at his papa.*

Patchwork: ..... Hi papa...

Proteus: alright I'll go too him, just stop hurting yourself please..*he said, like a worried brother.* come with me patchwork it's cold for you..*he said softly as he picked him up softly, talking him back inside and too talk to pinchy.*

Other Proteus: ...... A-Alright...

Patchwork: see ya later (other) Proteus....

(Other) Proteus: see you later kid....

*They get inside the house*

*After a few days or so D10 and the others were finally able to get back to their home. Though the atmosphere felt very different. D10 went upstairs to his room still trying to remember what happened.... What caused that accident to happen?*

D10: ....... *He tried his best to think, but all he could hear was Diesel and Atharva talking from out of D10'S room.* "Why was I so angry? Why can't I remember? Why....?"

*Out of D10'S room*

Diesel: For the last time we are not going to take his powers! If those powers are the only thing keeping him alive and well then NO! You will NOT take his powers!!

Atharva: YOU don't understand! Those powers are too dangerous for a simple diesel humanoid to handle! Your father is lucky that he even woke up!

Diesel: And you are just going to take his life away if you take his powers!! Besides I don't think you're that powerful anyway! If you really are that powerful then you should easily help us stop the corrupted!

Atharva: It's a lot more complicated than you think little Diesel.... Unfortunately though you are correct.... *He mumbles* If only that book hadn't been stolen then I would have safely taken those powers away from your father!

Diesel: Well guess what? WE DON'T HAVE THE BOOK! SO NO ONE IS GOING TO TRY TO TAKE HIS POWERS THE WRONG WAY!

*Patchwork listens to the fight and then he goes to D10'S room to see if he was ok. He opens the door a bit.*

Patchwork: ...... Uncle D10?..... Uncle D10.... You... You ok?

D10: ???- ..... Oh..... Patchwork...... I'm fine..... I'm just tired... It just has been a long few days for me....... I'm trying to remember why and what happened..... But no one is telling me.....

Patchwork: .....oh..... That's not good..... *He was worried. Especially when he saw the figure sitting by D10.* ...... ???- *he was the figure looking at him it kinda looked sad.... It only made things more depressing...* Uncle.... Who's that? *He points at the figure.*

D10: ????- *he looked behind himself but no one was there for him* I think you are just imagining things...... I don't see anything kid...

Patchwork: !?

*The figure looked at patchwork.*

Patchwork: ...... *He was very quiet and he didn't like how sad the figure was.* ..... *He didn't understand why D10 couldn't see the figure sitting right behind him* .....

D10: Why don't you go check on your siblings.... I'll be out in a bit.... I'm just thinking for a bit.... *The figure only seemed to make D10 sad and depressed in a way.*

Patchwork: *He wanted to tell D10 about the figure again but he didn't want to upset D10*...... Ok..... Uncle D10..... *He slowly walks away while looking at D10 and the figure with D10.* ....... *Then Patchwork looked at Diesel and Atharva and thought for a bit.* "That book.... That father took.... Maybe I can give it back to the angel ...... But then my father would be upset then..... I need to find a way to get it ..." *He thought to himself*

*Somewhere in the abandoned area of Sodor.*

Scotsman: *He is trying to figure a way out to escape this hell. Since he was only in his core form he didn't have that much movability.*

Corrupted Leader: *he sets the book down on a old desk and looked at Scotsman* "Trying to find a escape I see?"

Scotsman: *he grumbles to himself* LET ME OUT OF HERE! TAKE ME BACK TO MY BROTHER!

Corrupted Leader: ah.... Hehe.... Well I don't think I can do that... Besides your brother is busy dropping off passengers to the mainland.....

Scotsman: .... How..... How do you know that? ......

Corrupted Leader: Well I snuck some of my scouts in the few coaches he is taking to the mainland....

Scotsman: !!!!!- WHAT!!?! NO!! YOU CAN'T DO THAT!!

Corrupted Leader: Ha! I think it's a bit too late to say that to me.... Oh!! I almost forgot! I have a little surprise for you!

*He picks up Scotsman and puts him on a different table but this one had something on it and it was covered by a huge sheet.*

Scotsman: ???- W-what.... What is that.....? Oh God what is that horrible smell!

Corrupted Leader: *he grabs the sheet* Why it's your surprise silly! *He takes off the sheets to reveal a ripped up and horribly disfigured Scotsman humanoid body.....*

Scotsman: OH DEAR GOD!! WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU!!! *He screamed loudly*

Corrupted Leader: what do you mean... I fixed it up for you..... Do you like it....? I'm still working on it but it's very close to being done....

Scotsman: *he was hyperventilating a bit* I..... I .... I just want to go home.... I want to go home *he quietly cried out* ....

Corrupted Leader: Oh don't cry..... My child.... You'll be able to do what you need to do when this body is fully completed.... I got to make sure it's perfect.... *He smiled underneath his mask* Now I have to go to something real quick.... I have to get that Topham Hatt to this world so .... *He grabs the book* See you in a bit I hope you love your surprise!!

Scotsman: ..... *He begins to cry quietly he just wanted to go home. That's all he wanted just to go back home. He wanted his brother and family with him he was afraid of what he is going to turn into.* Gordon.... Spencer.... Everyone..... Please be ok.... I'm sorry for what is going to happen to me.... I don't want to hurt anyone.... I just want to go home........
