Does Anyone Know this Person?
I ran across this pic online the other day and I know this guy as chase in Jacksonville for 4 years. He's homeless, according to him, but hardly ever around. This pic was taken at Residence Inn where I have stayed many times. I can tell by the coverlet. Its obviously posed AND PROBABLY POSTED ONLINE WITH THE ABUSERS HACKERS WHO I AM SURE, MADE SURE THAT I WOULD SEE IT. Could this be my long lost cousin Greg Katz backside? He is the son of the venerable Dr. Richard Katz of Ballenisles country club in illustrious palm beach gardens Florida. Or.... Could it be someone who is around Dennis Felcher. or Miss Todd Olivieri in South Florida or NY? How about anyone around David kaufman in NY who at one time resided in Brooklyn on Quentin road. Davids glamorous mother is Sarah Kaufman who always wore a big round diamond on her hand and probably the most beautiful diamond wedding band, all long rectangle diamonds all the way around set in platinum, of course, that I have ever seen in my life. Has anyone seen this person around David or his well tar do sister Allison Kaufman? Maybe this is her, uh, Assistant?? Delicious Allison Kaufman is like the girl next door who collects rent from tenants with a baseball bat in her Louis Vuitton handbag. She is so adorable you want to squeeze her cheeks. Not her fanny of course she's a traditional young lady. Yes indeed. She's Daddy's little Gurl!! I heard she is the real estate queen of Tudor City in NYC. She is most definitely a proper young woman but how proper? Her brother David is a formidable guy once he finally finishes brushing his hair. I heard He is well hung. Brooklyn's 11 inch pride and joy! He's a real stunner David. Just ask any doorman in Tudor city! I think he went to Yeshiva. Has anyone seen the guy pictured below around any of the people mentioned in this post or around Nathan James Smith my ex? As far as I know Sarah and Seymour Kaufman have one son and one daughter. David and Allison. Maybe they dropped David on his head. Who doesn't call back or check on their younger cousin?? Dunce... what .. do I have to rim this guy to get a call back? Isn't it all very convenient? I guess if I don't speak with them they can say that and maybe escape blame for not telling me something??

Tudor City is an apartment complex located on the southern edge of Turtle Bay, on the East Side of Manhattan in New York City, near Turtle Bay's border with Murray Hill. Designed and developed by the Fred F. French Company, it lies on a low cliff, which is east of Second Avenue between 40th and 43rd Streets and overlooks First Avenue. Construction commenced in 1926, making it the first residential skyscraper complex in the world. Tudor City was one of the first, largest, and most important examples of a planned middle-class residential community in New York City. It is named for its Tudor Revival architecture. The complex is a New York City designated landmark district and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
The 13-building complex consists of 11 housing cooperatives, one rental apartment building, and one short-term hotel; these buildings collectively house 5,000 people. Most of Tudor City's buildings are arranged around 41st and 43rd Streets, which slope upward east of Second Avenue; the eastern ends of the two streets are connected by Tudor City Place, which crosses over 42nd Street. Two parks flank 42nd Street, and there was once an 18-hole miniature golf course in the southern park. The buildings generally contain stone, brick, and terracotta facades, as well as ornate Tudor-style details. The Fred F. French Company advertised Tudor City heavily, erecting large signs on the roofs of two buildings on 42nd Street, which could be seen from blocks away.
Before Tudor City was constructed, tenements and slums dominated the area. Following the development of the nearby Grand Central Terminal and office buildings during the early 20th century, Fred F. French began planning a residential enclave in Midtown Manhattan. French announced plans for Tudor City in December 1925, and the first 12 structures were completed in phases between October 1927 and late 1930. The section of 42nd Street through Tudor City was widened in the 1950s with the construction of the nearby United Nations headquarters. The final building in the complex, 2 Tudor City Place, was finished in 1956, and the French Company sold the Hotel Tudor in 1963. Harry Helmsley bought most of the remaining buildings in 1970 and resold them in 1984 to Philip Pilevsky and Francis J. Greenburger, who converted most of these structures to co-op apartments.
The complex contains 12 apartment buildings, named Prospect Tower, Tudor Tower, Windsor Tower, Woodstock Tower, Hatfield House, the Manor, the Hermitage, the Cloister, Essex House, Haddon Hall, and Hardwicke Hall; it also includes a hotel, the Hotel Tudor. Woodstock Tower, in the center of the complex, is the tallest tower of the group, and was originally topped by a flèche, a gothic spire. Tudor City's original shops included three restaurants (providing room service for a fee), grocery, liquor, and drug stores, a barber shop, and beauty parlor. Services included a post office, indoor playground, private nursery, maids, laundry and valet service, private guards, garage, a furniture repair and rug cleaning service, and a radio engineer who would repair and connect aerials. Residents published their own magazine, and there were also organizations such as a camera club. The enclave also contained such amenities as an ice-skating rink and tennis courts, in addition to a library, babysitting service, and bowling alley. Prospect Tower and Tudor Tower both contained two rooftop decks, while the Manor contained another roof deck; there was also a water playground for children.
Due to their distinctive architectural style, Tudor City has been heavily featured in television in film. Appearances include The Godfather Part III, Scarface, Taxi Driver, and Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man trilogy.

Unidentified Performance | Chambers Street Loft Series Featured: "ADD COLOUR PAINTING" by Yoko Ono / 小野 洋子 (1961) Minoru Niizuma // NYC, 1961
In 1960, Yoko Ono rented a loft on Chambers Street in Lower Manhattan and began organizing events in the space with composer La Monte Young.
Well, by then, I knew a few people. And I realized that all these people usually create music in New York City. But there's no place for them to present their work. And I said, you know, I think it's a great idea if we created a place where all of us can present our music. It doesn't have to be big or anything. These days, some artists are taking lofts as their workplace. And it's not very expensive. It was amazing how I wanted that place. And, when I think about it now, whatever I wanted, I was going to do it – I was daring to do it.  But it's a coldwater flat, and it was in the winter. It was so cold, you know? We didn't even have electricity. And the downstairs guy was very kind and gave me a kind of huge heater that just goes, brrrrrrr, like that, and it was great. So with that and the electricity, I was made. And so the first concert I gave – the only people who came was John Cage, David Tudor, who's a pianist for John Cage, MC Richards. I think it was the second or third, Peggy Guggenheim brought Max Ernst and Marcel Duchamp. The performance was very avant-garde, and what I did was I did with my voice, and I got the hint from a Japanese kabuki. You have the long hair, and you just turn around like a dance, you know? And each person who did something there was very, very original and incredibly interesting. So it was very exciting.

Places in New York City that don't look like they're in NYC (and aren't in Central Park*)
Forest Hills Gardens, Queens
Tumblr media
This lovely NYC neighborhood was modeled after an English village back when it was first built in 1910, offering a little piece of the UK in Queens, with quaint Tudor-style houses and a town center with a train station. Read more about it here.
Where: 71st Ave, Forest Hills, NY
The Met Cloisters, Washington Heights
Tumblr media
If you didn’t know about The Cloisters before, you might not ever believe that a medieval castle was in the middle of New York City. But it is! The Cloisters is a branch of The Metropolitan Museum of Art that is devoted to European art history. It was designed and constructed taking elements from many different medieval cloisters, which are covered pathways in a church or monastery that connect to form an open square in the center. Find out more here.
Where: 99 Margaret Corbin Drive
Hours: Thursday-Tuesday 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., Closed Wednesdays
Purchase tickets on their website here.
Villa Charlotte Bronte, The Bronx
Tumblr media
Italy or the Bronx? The beautiful “Villa Charlotte Bronte” apartments look straight out of Europe. They were built in 1926 and sit along the Palisades, overlooking the Hudson River, in the Spuyten Duyvil neighborhood of The Bronx. The design was actually based on an Italian villa, which definitely makes sense, and includes balconies as well as lush gardens!
Where: 2501 Palisade Ave, The Bronx
Fort Tryon Park, Inwood
Tumblr media
These massive stone arches looks straight out of another era…and that’s because they are! Built between 1901 and 1905, the “Billings Arcade” is some of the last remains of the Tryon Hall mansion, built by wealthy Chicago industrialist Cornelius K. G. Billings. John D. Rockefeller, Jr. purchased the $2 million estate in 1917, only for it to burn down a few years later. Read more about the history from the Fort Tryon Park Trust.
Makes sense that #2 on our list is right next door!
Where: Riverside Dr. To Broadway (arches are near down toward the Billings Lawn, this website has good detailed directions)
Hours: Open daily, 6 a.m. – 1 a.m.
Greenacre Park, Midtown
Tumblr media
This hidden little park in Midtown East is only 1/7 of an acre, but it definitely packs a punch. It holds a 25-foot waterfall that is not only a sight for sore eyes in the middle of Manhattan, and will also distract from the noise of the busy streets. It was built in 1971 by the Greenacre Foundation from a design by Hideo Sasaki.
Where: 217 E 51st St.
Hours: Open daily, 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. *Reopens for the season Monday, April 3*
Bonus: Here’s our list of other stunning secret gardens hidden in NYC
Andrew Carnegie Mansion, Upper East Side
Tumblr media
The Andrew Carnegie Mansion is a historical spot now home to the Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum. The mansion was originally completed in 1902 and reached landmark status in 1974, though it has undergone much change over the years. The grounds of the mansion, and now museum, feature an expansive garden and cafe for visitors to enjoy as well as a little opulent oasis in the middle of Manhattan.
Where: 2 E. 91st Street
Hours: Thursday–Monday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Morgan Library, Murray Hill
Tumblr media
The Morgan Library feels like a trip to a library from Harry Potter or old world Europe. The historical venue was built as a private library between 1902 and 1906 for financier Pierpont Morgan. He began collecting manuscripts and other historical materials as early as 1890, and now they line the walls of the museum. You can find some of the country’s rarest music manuscripts, early children’s books, Americana, early printed books and more there. Purchase tickets here.
Where: 225 Madison Ave
Hours: Varies, see website for more info
“Little Paris,” Nolita/SoHo
Tumblr media
NYC’s own “Little Paris” is the work of one group of French business owners determined to showcase NYC’s own enclave of French culture on Centre Street in Nolita/SoHo (between Broome & Grand St.). Along Centre St. you can find French café and bakery Maman, wine bar La Compagnie des Vins Surnaturels, and art and home decor shop Clic. To complete the Parisian vibe is the old police headquarters located across the street from Coucou French Classes, whose architecture was inspired by Paris’s famous Hotel de Ville (City Hall) with its Beaux Arts style. Read more about it here.
Where: Centre Street between Broome & Grand St.https://www.tiktok.com/embed/v2/7107213381651795246
Van Cortlandt House, The Bronx
Tumblr media
The Van Cortlandt House is the oldest surviving building in The Bronx, and was built by Frederick Van Cortlandt (1699 – 1749) in 1748. The Van Cortlandts were a prominent merchant family who owned a plantation on the property. Generations of the family lived there for 140 years, and in 1887 it was sold to the City of New York and made into public park land (Van Cortlandt Park itself it also the third largest park in NYC and has lots of unique hiking trails and vantage points!). Before it was a museum it had many random, unique uses like a temporary police precinct and a living space for ranch hands that cared for a herd of buffalo on the property.
Where: 6036 Broadway, Van Cortlandt Park
Hours: Varies, see website for more info
Stone Street, Financial District
Tumblr media
Stone Street is one of the rare cobblestone streets in NYC, that gives more of an old school European feel to the starkly modern city buildings around it. According to Untapped Cities, the street was one of the first to be paved with cobblestones (in 1658) in the Nieuw Amsterdam colony, which is where it got its name. Today, no cars are allowed through and in the warm weather because of outdoor seating, it’s one of the few NYC locations where drinking is actually allowed in the streets.
Where: From Whitehall St. to Broad St., between Marketfield St. and Bridge St.
Hours: Open 24 hours
Ford Foundation Garden, Midtown
Tumblr media
Tucked all the way at the end of 42nd Street (between 2nd Ave. and the United Nations Plaza), the Ford Foundation Center for Social Justice is a true hidden treasure of New York City. With sunlight streaming in on multiple sides, the 160-foot tall atrium holds 39 species of plants. There is also a reflecting pool, and a sensory garden with plant life you are encouraged to touch and smell. Read more here.
Where: 320 E. 43rd St.
Hours: Monday-Friday 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.https://www.instagram.com/reel/ChcXIbcAbpA/embed/?cr=1&v=14&wp=540&rd=https%3A%2F%2Fsecretnyc.co&rp=%2Fextraordinary-places-you-wont-believe-are-in-new-york-city%2F#%7B%22ci%22%3A0%2C%22os%22%3A4699.899999999907%2C%22ls%22%3A3474.899999999907%2C%22le%22%3A3748.600000000093%7D
Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge, Queens

If you’re looking to be surrounded by nature instead of the concrete jungle, the Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge is the place for you. On over 9,155 serene acres you can hike, go bird-watching, explore turtle nesting and admire the wide variety of wildflowers, moths and butterflies.
Where: Cross Bay Blvd near Broad Channel, Queens
Hours: Open daily, 6a.m. – 9p.m.
Brooklyn Botanic Garden, Prospect Heights
Tumblr media
This lush oasis in the heart of Brooklyn will make you feel like you’ve been completely transported to another city. During the cherry blossom bloom in the spring, it will surely feel like a trip to Japan, but year-round it provides a natural haven for New Yorkers with varying blooms all over its very walkable grounds. Purchase tickets on their website here.
Where: 455 Flatbush Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11225
Hours: Varies, see website for more info

Behold, NYC's Tudor City
Top levels, including roof terrace, of Windsor Tower, one of 13 in Tudor City. (Wikipedia) I had lunch today (by now, yesterday) at Maven’s, a newly opened Jewish delicatessen in that plaza just off Hope Street as it becomes East Avenue, in Pawtucket. I’ve eaten there once before with my wife, Victoria – delicious, though not without some small kinks to be worked out – and this time I was by…

Barely 5 minutes into ep 30 and I’m already dying
Not for the plot or the characters but because last week I was on the trains from Boston to New York and back again. I listened to John convince Arthur to go to New York instead of Arkham just as I was settling back in to my own Massachusetts home. And now they’re in Tudor City, which is right where I was in NYC last week.
I just love when fiction happens in places I’ve been is all

Wealthy millennials are spending millions to knock down beautiful homes in NYC's suburbs to build mansions as the housing wars continue
Across the Hudson River from New York City are suburban communities such as Ridgewood, New Jersey, which are dotted with beautiful century-old Victorian and Tudor-style homes. Only many of these historic adobes won’t be around for too long: wealthy millennials are tearing them down in favor of bigger, modern homes. Priscilla Reynolds, a New Jersey sales associate, represented a salesperson who…

I HAVE NOT SPOKEN WITH MY FATHER DENNIS FELCHER IN PERSON IN 4 YEARS AND 11 MONTHS AND HAVEN’T SPENT A HOLIDAY WITH HIM IN MORE THAN 30 YEARS.
WHILE THIS IS JUST FINE WITH ME AND I AM IN PART RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS AS WELL I THINK IT ILLUSTRATES SOMETHING.  POSSIBLY A PERSON WHO DOESN’T WANT TO BE ANYWHERE NEAR THIS OR THINKS THAT HE CAN HIDE ANY INVOLVEMENT HE MAY HAVE AND IF SO WHY WOULD SOMEONE WANT TO DO THAT?  IRONICALLY I RECEIVED A CALL ABOUT 3 MONTHS AGO AND HIS CELL PHONE NUMBER SHOWED UP ON MY PHONE.  I ANSWERED THE CALL AND IT WAS SOMEONE WHO SOUNDED LIKE AND REPRESENTED THEMSELVES AS ELLA FELCHER.  ELLA AND I NEVER SPEAK WITH EACH OTHER ALTHOUGH I WONDERED ATLEAST ONE TIME IF SHE WAS INSIDE OF MY HOME WHILE SOME PEOPLE WERE OVER AS A GUEST OF ANOTHER GUEST.  I HAVEN’T HAD ANY INVOLVEMENT WITH HER NOR HAVE I SPOKEN WITH HER IN OVER 30 YEARS NOW.  I CAN’T THINK OF ANY REASON WHY ANYONE WOULD CALL ME AND ASSERT THEY WERE HER AND THAT HAS NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE.  I ONLY SPOKE WITH HER FOR MAYBE 45-60 SECONDS AND THAT WAS IT.  THE CALLER DID NOT SAY THAT ANYTHING WAS WRONG OR HAD HAPPENED.  IT WAS ACTUALLY A  VERY STRANGE CALL AND THE CALL CAME IN JUST AS I WAS WALKING INTO BRANDSMART IN DANIA POINT IN DANIA BEACH/HOLLYWOOD FLORIDA 3-4 MONTHS AGO OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT.  TODAYS DATE 02-21-2023.

#NYC #viajar #travel #Kaws #UN #NacioensUnidas #TudorCity #WaldorfAstoria #rockefellercenter #blackandwhite #ZahaHadid #TheVessel (en New York, city) https://www.instagram.com/p/CkoGrSStzir/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
