I may have forgotten to be posting my art as I went like I was supposed to be doing. And now I have like 17 unposted drawings so I’m gonna put them in two different posts. It’s mostly Leosagi/Leo. I’ve gotten real good at drawing those two.

kicking my legs and giggling over the fact that the turtles so obviously symbolize benitez. ofc we all know the fable of the tortoise and the hare (i know tortoises aren't turtles, but they're closely related enough for it to still work), with its motto of "slow and steady wins the race"- which is exactly how benitez won the papacy, in a way. but also, lawrence mentions that sometimes the turtles stray too far from the pond and get struck by cars in the busy street. near the end of the film, we have a scene of lawrence picking up a turtle and bringing it safely back to the pond; before this was the scene of benitez's confession to lawrence that he's intersex. in turn, the turtle rescue scene so obviously symbolizes lawrence keeping benitez's secret safe and protecting him.

I know this fandom loves cat ocs, see a lot of inspiration from that one rise artist that was popular back in 2022 I think so I had them in mind when drawing

Hello, Darlings! 🌻

We have officially made it to the end of 1935! And as much as I would like to run straight into the inevitable drama of 1936, alas, my queue has run out! So I’m going to take a few weeks to work on posts in the background, spend some time with the hubs, and enjoy my birthday month.

Thank you all so much for your patience this decade, I know it’s taking quite a while (and yet I continue to torment myself by writing longer and more complex scenes). I’ll still be lurking and liking in the meantime so feel free to send asks or whatnot if you’d like to!
