During the journey home, Kiba had made odd faces at you every time he caught sight of them.  It was mortifying, and you hoped the paint would fade soon.  But it really hadn’t wanted to come off. Hana cackled when you followed Kiba into the kitchen.

For the first one, you're getting the song that's stuck in my head, and boy this one's a doozy.

So uh. Hm. Epistilatory, clearly. I'm thinking Spy AU because why not make this incredibly painful to write. I think I can't think of a mcyt setting I take seriously enough for this. Okay, Julian/Bashir, in an alternate bad history timeline. They're insisting it's Gen the whole time but everybody knowsssss there is no ampersand in this relationship. Bad things happen and are lied about and downplayed. Does it end happily? I leave this up to your imagination.

Origins! the pube used to be a temple to an ancient god and they all moved in and made a house in a church, very irreferently, and eventually the god wakes up and is all quoi? Ca va? the fuck are you doing in my house, you little shits? And then everyone goes NEW FRIEND and torments the god who was doing just FINE than, you. The god is skvander bunnyblade. He lives here now. Wilbur is harvesting his feet. Tommy keeps trying to get him to eat moss.

Explanations and headcanons under the thing, because it’s long.

At first I was just going to pick 7 pokemon that like to sleep, but I quickly noticed they were all normal or psychic. I wanted a little more diversity in Lynt’s team, so made a rule for myself that the types couldn’t overlap. I also wanted Lynt to have a starter, a pokemon that I thought looked like him, and mostly pokemon that might be found in Akedia. Here was my rationale for each:

Team

Decidueye

Lynt’s starter. I also think Decidueye looks like Lynt, so that was a twofor. Owls also live in wooded areas, so I figured they’d be native to Akedia.

Pachirisu

Lynt’s familiar, Phee, is a squirrel, so he’d definitely have a squirrel pokemon. Also, squirrels live the in woods.

Komala

These guys like to sleep, and Lynt is all about that. Koalas also live in the woods.

Togekiss

The whole evolution line is known for being kind. I don’t think they’re native to Akedia, but Togekiss can fly.

Slowpoke

Akedia’s an island, so it’s bound to have beaches. And with beaches come water type pokemon. I 100% think Lynt would pick Slowpoke. Roy’s familiar is a pegasus. Guy’s familiar is a dragon. Lynt’s familiar is a squirrel. You can’t convince me he wouldn’t go down to the beach and pick the derpiest, laziest pokemon he could find. And that pokemon would be Slowpoke.

Sudowoodo

Sudowoodo‘s pokedex entry mentions that they avoid attacks by mimicking a tree. That avoidance of battle sounds super Akedian to me, and they definitely live in forests.

Burmy

Burmys like to just hang out in their leaf cloaks. Lynt can relate. Akedia also probably has a bunch of bug types.

Headcanons

Lynt’s pokemon are mostly in their first stage of evolution because he doesn’t like making them fight. Tegekiss flew to Akedia and his Rowlet evolved from being entered into the mandatory Familiar Pokemon Royal at the academy. 

Speaking of the Pokemon Royal, Lynt can sweep entire teams with Decidueye. His starter is the only pokemon he battles with. He only had to memories one move set so he is very good with it.

Akedia doesn’t have a gym. They instead have a trial (much like in the Orange Islands or Pokemon Sun/Moon). I haven’t hammered out any of the details, but it would require the trainer to work with their pokemon to complete tasks (and they are encouraged to incorporate as many members of their party as possible). 

Lynt’s pokedex isn’t complete, but it’s the most complete of the princes. That’s largely because Pokemon are drawn to Lynt and want him to be their master.

All of Lynt’s pokemon either caught themselves or followed him home. I thought up stories for Komala and Slowpoke, but I think this post is long enough.

Angel is an interesting choice to have for the day of Passover. I thought you would have selected a Jewish hero.

It is Passover and chag sameach to one and all. But it’s also Good Friday. I figured angels figure prominently in both The Torah and The New Testament so ol’ Warren acts as a handy twofor.
