TetZooCon 2024

I am back from the UK and what was the „final“ TetZooCon ever. As every year before it was two great days of talking with fellow natural history enthusiasts, bleeding my wallet at stalls of awesome art and literature and of course some fascinating presentations.

The actual convention was then followed by a three day trip, the tetzootour, stopping at the Horniman Museum for Luis Rey‘s „Dinosaur rEvolution“, Lyme Regis for fossil hunting and Howletts Wild Animal Park.

If the math stands, that picture is from a time when The World Trade Center was still standing. You could still smoke indoors at restaurants. The US national average price for a gallon of gasoline was $1.46. A gallon of milk was $2.88. The film it was shot on, about $5. This is not adjusted for inflation.

A sea serpent puppet prototype that’s custom made for a furry puppetry workshop at Anthrocon! They’re going to blow it up until the head is about 4-5 feet long with 5 body segments. Look for it in the Fursuit parade!

This was me at colossalcon 25' !! This was my first ever time going and it was super fun>.<

I loved everyone that i met there, and i hope yall had a good time, too! I'm excited to go again!!

Went to an anime convention over the weekend in my tech priest cosplay, and I wasn’t expecting how many Warhammer cosplayers there were!

I met this guy in iron warrior cosplay who noticed me running after him for a bit (he was very tall and I have very short legs) and he let me take a picture

The Cracker Ass Bubble Butt Story

Transcript: You know before I went to Texas and did a play I weighed about 160 pounds and I hadn’t been on the stage in many years. And I went down there to do this play and I was in every scene in the play. And, this is true, I lost 30 pounds, 25 pounds, 30, around 30 I guess it was. Had to take all my clothes to a local tailor, have ‘em taken in. Never gained the weight back. But when I was doing the series, I was quite a bit huskier at that time. And Shatner was always with the barbells, he’d come in doing this, you know. And every day when I would get off I would go and take the make up off and you strip to the waist and wash to get all this stuff off. I’d come back through, he’d be sitting up in his little chair you know, and I’d flex and I’d walk by him every day. He got real sick- one day he says look cracker ass why don’t you knock that off? That’s alright I call him bubble butt.
