Anime : Given
I cannot imagine the pain mafuyu went through
I mean, loving someone who was with you since you were a kid, that person was your bestfriend and boyfriend and the comfort, the warmth.
And to know that that person died because of partly you.
It fucking pains me.
When I heard him sing, I was fucking moved.
This anime.
Oh my fucking god.
This is so beautiful, the journey it shows.
The suppression of feelings, the support, the help, the realisation and the healing, the moving on yet still holding on.
I am in awe.
I have that music liked on my Spotify and I still cannot listen to it without my heart being all clenched up and just, the feelings all get stirred.
Also, Uenoyama🙌
The representation of Boundaries🤌😭❤️
The healthy ways of dealing with things. The intimacy of without being intimate.
I am in awe.
Also sidenote, but have you guys noticed how Uenoyama looks like Kageyama from Haikyuu and Haruki looks like a blonde Asahi
Iknow Mafuyu doesn't really resemble Hinata but my mind was like ehhhh, kinda.
Okay I'm done, gooodnight guys.
Also, Uenoyama is such a cute name.
There's one thing I'm kinda unclear about, how does mafuyu's ex (Yuki) die?
Over drinking? But how can one die by over drinking(I mean Iknow but at the same time there were 6-7 cans in the screen) I don't understand, and I don't understand why would mafuyu say something like can you die for me to him, and how can he die?
In my mind it might be something like he drank too much and slept on his back and maybe choked on his own puke.
I'm not sure

Recommendation # 10
Given
Category: Series, Animated
18+: No
Tightly clutching his Gibson guitar, Mafuyu Satou steps out of his dark apartment to begin another day of his high school life. While taking a nap in a quiet spot on the gymnasium staircase, he has a chance encounter with fellow student Ritsuka Uenoyama, who berates him for letting his guitar's strings rust and break. Noticing Uenoyama's knowledge of the instrument, Satou pleads for him to fix it and to teach him how to play. Uenoyama eventually agrees and invites him to sit in on a jam session with his two band mates: bassist Haruki Nakayama and drummer Akihiko Kaji.
Satou's voice is strikingly beautiful, filling Uenoyama with the determination to make Satou the lead singer of the band. Though reticent at first, Satou takes the offer after an emotional meeting with an old friend. With the support of his new friends, Satou must not only learn how to play guitar, but also come to terms with the mysterious circumstances that led him to be its owner.
Absolute masterpiece of an anime not only is the romance swoon worthy, but the music is so good, I would give anything to see that iconic singing scene again, never sobbed so hard.
Note: There is a live action version of this too!
Personal Rating: 9.8/10
