Yesterday I participated in early voting, my process was painless and very efficient. I did not experience voter suppression as it is moving throughout the country.

Not voting is not an option, it is your voice and your right, you cannot change anything from the outside. While you may be one of 190 million voices, nevertheless your voice matters. When you don’t vote, that is a vote that could have gone to the more qualified candidate. While both parties have challenges, the way to implement change in either party is not waiting until the DNC and RNC, it is the day after the election so you have time to propose change for the next election and have an active say during the aforementioned cycle. If other Parties want to form or strengthen themselves, that is the time to address and strengthen platform goals. So please do your homework, research, and get involved in the process.

1) Register to vote 2) Check your status - voting location change, many have been purged from the polls for various reasons. 3) Educate yourself on current affairs and learn the process. The president cannot move their agenda forward without a functional Congress and Senate. Learn the role and responsibilities of each elected officer. You have to hire and fire “VOTE” as per the job description. Do your research, do just listen to one side, be objective, learn the issues and the process, watch the news on more than one channel, and search the internet. 4) VOTE! 5) Get involved, join committees, run for office, and volunteer. 6) Fact check and verify the information before taking it as law, just because they are considered “experts” or “scholars” is not enough, they are human. 7) Never vote slate without researching everything, checking previous political stances, checking voting records, and by all means GET KNOWLEDGE, UNDERSTANDING, and Wisdom. #avotelesspeopleisahopelesspeople #vote2024 #understandtheassignment
