Impromptu post Each book of the series is getting better and better. Haven't I shared certain humorous stuff taking between Ron and Harry in the dire need event? While reading intensely, I am having a Lil Lil moment to laugh harder. Such a refresh that I needed. Provoked some memories when I watched it long back. Also, personally thank you so much for supporting and liking my posts.🌸💙 #unitedbookstagramindia #unitedbookstagramamreading #x_emi #readwithak #readbythewindow #mybookfeatures #harrypotterandthegobletoffire https://www.instagram.com/p/CivNQopPrP_/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Alex and Christine and Zachary and Lydia are two close knit middle-aged couples who have been friends for decades. Lydia and Christine were friends and flatmates at college when Lydia developed an all-obsessive crush on Alex, their French instructor and pursued him relentlessly. But in the course of events, they met Alex’s friend Zachary and Lydia ended up married to Zachary while Alex married Christine, whom he had always had a soft corner for!
Now decades later, the couples are more than friends! They are almost like family! Our story begins one evening with the news of Zach’s unexpected and untimely demise. The shock and grief initially brings the remaining three friends closer and Lydia moves in with Alex and Christine - at least until the practical aspects of this grief (like the funeral) can be dealt with. But once the sharp shock and pain abates, and each person is left dealing with their individual memories and sorrow, they discover that some fundamental balance of their friendship has altered. The absence of one of them from the relationship has somehow turned a safe, solid and comfortable friendship into something strange and new and uncertain! They slowly realise that Zachary’s death might not bring them closer like they all expected - in fact, their friendship might not survive his loss!!
What I liked:- This beautifully written tale about complicated and chaotic relationships! This book isn’t about violent emotions or outbursts of passion - it is more the subtle, confused ,many-layered and all too real emotions of ordinary people in perfectly ordinary lives.

I have lost the count of times, I have read this book last year and I am so very ready to read this now again. I love #thekissquotient very very much. I love everything about it, the plot, the characters, the family aspect of it, every single thing. And what can I say about #micheal he is the book boyfriend of the romance world because he knows what consent means! and how to treat a lady! Even though I know a lot of people are going to disagree with him handling certain things certain way, but we are human even in the great world of FICTIONS!!!! . . . . . #bookstagramindia #unitedbookstagramindia #unitedbookstagram #bookstoread #bookboyfriend #BookishPost #helenhoang #geek #bookishlove #otp #fictionalcrush #love #BookBabe #bookfeature #bookgram #bookcover #iloveromance #ilovebooks #AmReading #newpost #romancereadersofinstagram #lovebooks #booksforlife #readersgonnaread #readersofig #readinglist (at My Home) https://www.instagram.com/p/B_8OFSbhcYP/?igshid=7ottrh2e5inb

Q : Which is your favorite short story book? The world's most frustrated man is a 69 page short story book written by author Abhaidev @authorabhaidev . It is a story of 43yr old guy Mr. M who is tossing up and down to make his way through mental disorder. Everything under limit looks good but the protagonist of the story thinks a lot. As we grow up, our chances of failure, responsibilities and emotional disturbance increases like the increasing temperature of earth. The protagonist feels dejected, helpless and lonely due to havoc in his life that made him frustrated. Across many books I have came across, this book has best narrative . It is a fast paced story where author discusses mental disorders in its raw form. The book discusses about struggles of man and the triggers which makes this story different from other. As every coin has two sides, the story also has some red flags. I was highly disappointed where he wrote that women who read Siliva Plath are called condescending bitches . The view that no one should look for equality in relationship and many more made me upset. I think this book is opinionated book and I think open minded readers should go for it. #OnebookOnequote “When our emotions are engaged, we often have trouble seeing things as they are.” ― Robert Greene Blurb : The Art of Seduction is a masterful synthesis of the work of thinkers such as Freud, Ovid, Kierkegaard, and Einstein, as well as the achievements of the greatest seducers throughout history. From Cleopatra to John F. Kennedy, from Andy Warhol to Josephine Bonaparte, The Art of Seduction gets to the heart of the character of the seducer and his or her tactics, triumphs and failures. The seducer's many faces include: the Siren, the Rake, the Ideal Lover, the Dandy, the Natural, the Coquette, the Charmer, and the Charismatic. Twenty-four maneuvers will guide readers through the seduction process, providing cunning, amoral instructions for and analysis of this fascinating, all-pervasive form of power. Just as beautifully packaged and every bit as essential as The 48 Laws of Power, The Art of Seduction is an indispensable primer of persuasion and offers the best lessons on how to take what you want from whomever you want or how to prevent yourself from being taken. 'Into Thin Air' by Jon Krakauer I don't know how to write about this book- every adjective that I think of is saddled with the weight of death. A retelling of the events that unfolded in the deaths of his fellow mountaineers, the book is a personal account by @krakauernotwriting of what happened and make sense of the whys. What worked for me: • Sherpas, local Nepalis who ace mountain climbing, have not been shuffled as footnotes to the mountain climbing experience. They literally set the stage for the non-Nepali folks to climb- from carrying supplies to setting ropes and yet in the 90s a tour guide charged $65000, while the Sherpa who works the hardest made about $2500. Go do the Math. As someone from the subcontinent and from a country whose heritage includes examples of this kind of exploitation, it's safe to say- it made my blood boil. • I knew there are risks in mountaineering- high altitude sickness is something we are advised about while doing our acclimatization when travelling to higher altitudes- but the book delves into that and others in more depth and covers a larger risk base. It was scary- how the body turns against itself when so out of its comfort zone. • Krakauer's writing is fascinating. He has written about a horrific episode with remarkable clarity and coherence. I wanted to devour everything that he has ever written. Sharing one of the pic that I have from the Himalayan range. And another of a quaint railway station in the foothills of Himalayas. Sunday mornings armed with a flask of tea and sandwiches, we would head to this platform and chill. Only two trains frequented this station- one arrived in the morning. Another left at night. This station is neither so laid-back nor as quaint anymore. #intothinair #jonkrakauer #nonfictionreads #nonfictionbookclub #nonfictionbooks #mustreadbooks #bookrecommendations #mountaineeringbooks #womenwhoread #indianbookblogger #indianbookstagrammer #delhibookstafam #delhibookstagram #delhibookstagrammer #delhibookstafam #newtobookstagram #newbookstagram #newbookstagrammer #nevernotreading #bookishthoughts #bookishlove #booksbooksbooks #unitedbookstagram #unitedbookstagramindia (at Delhi, India) https://www.instagram.com/p/CaeJanYLlac/?utm_medium=tumblr

I was completely taken by this book cover. I simply couldn't keep myself away from it. It is aesthetically astonishing. I am still intrigued. The fascination lured me in and the magnificent world building moved me from sentence to sentences. It left a trail of charms behind in the form of witty dialogues, wicked intentions and twisty actions. This is one of those books, where you either fall into the magic trap and stay bewitched or you find the loopholes and escape to end up judging harshly. And after scrutinizing this in the dark allure of last few autumn nights, I can see both perspectives clearly in the moonlight. This is my first fae-ry tale read. And I thoroughly enjoyed my introductory course to these immortal creatures, the self declared superior beings, their laws orders, their weird quirkiness and their nonchalant ways. Isobel is the realistically strong character, who's also an exceptionally talented portaitist. With each stroke of brush, with skillfully chosen color, she captures the faerie fellows in a way, no one has actually before at the edge of seventeen. Rook is the Autumn Prince, who is proud enough to make forbidden choices casually yet courageous enough to keep each promises he ever made. No one has seen him in decades, he is almost an folklore, the land of Whimsy tells to their decendents. But the adventure takes a captivating turn when the mysterious immortal visits the mortal's parlor to experience a common human craft. Self-portrait. Enough about me, let's talk about you. What's your 'the-book-cover-made-me-do-it' surprise read? What is your favorite fae-ry tale? I am sensing a pattern here. This is the second series I am reading from her. And in this series too, I am very much fond of the second book ( almost, a little bit more more than the first one ). I will confirm when I move on to the third series afterwards. This is the historical tale of Clio, the strong woman who had enough of the society and rules, now that she has inherited the castle, she is ready to leave the naive girl behind and determined to taste independence on her own. Then there is Rafe is planning the grandest wedding ever for her with his brother with Clio! He will follow her to anywhere to show why marriage is the better future prospect for her. But the question is will he succeed? Or will she? And the answer lies in between the pages filled with humorous incidents, swoony moments and the sweetest romantic feelings - that left be giddy with a huge grin on my face; more than this girl can handle. What did I expect? Nothing less. The experience was enhanced cause I had to buddy read with me! . . . Enough about me, let's talk about you. What is you latest favorite Historical Romance book? Look what this book made me do! Look how this book left me! I am walking around with a goofy grin on my face, one complete mushy heart, and unshakable faith in the universe - that someday I'll find my way inside the fairytale and it would be epic. Reading this book was equal proportion of amazement and amusement. Lizzy Goodnight, after her father's death, found herself starving yet in possession of a castle. And property in question happens to be a ancestral home of one scared grumpy Duke with limited vision, who has no notion about the transaction. And he is not giving up his fortress of solitude to her. A This book is filled with adorable moments and the delightful crafting by the talented author. I had my historical romance buddy to read this one with me! . . . Enough about me, let's talk about you. Have you read the Castle Ever After series? Do you read Fairytale Retelling books? How do you like eat dessert? I prefer small bites. Keeping it inside my mouth for enough time, so that I can feel it melt inside, let it invade my taste buds. Then, just before swallowing it down, I run my tongue along the lines of my lips, so that I can taste it, all over again in the aftertaste. I think eating dessert is an art. Letting the sweet course torture first before soothing is the way to go. One small bit at a time and continue the process till the end of time slowly; by closing my eyes and let it take hold of my sensitive senses. That is all I could think about when, I was reading this book for a whole week. I couldn't let myself finish it on one setting, I had to let it take hold of me, give up the control, and see how it goes. So, that is exactly what I did. Personally, I don't usually tend to read book/s that reflects me. I know me, and reading about it on paper, makes me feel anxious. The idea of letting the world see right through me, scares me to death. But, not this time. Not with this book. I enjoyed the fact more that there is someone out there living the exact same life, fighting the same fight, and dreaming the same dreams; and if she can do it, keeping faith, then maybe, just maybe, I can do it too. Maybe someday all of my hopes and goals would come true. This is the life of Deja, an Centreville university professor, trying to live balanced life between her work, career and anxiety. Other times, trying hard not to appear obvious, about her undeniable affection towards Alejandro. Enough about me. Let's talk about you. Have you read this book? Do you enjoy workplace romance? Can you relate with me? Does it ever happen to you? Like.... When you start reading a book and then a certain character or certain characteristics just stays with you... And everytime you come across such traits, you just dive into it.... No question asked! That is exactly happening with me. Turns out, currently I have a thing for hardheaded Italian men, and their mushy hearts. This book was released in 2012, almost 9 years ago. Honestly, if I had actually read the book when I intended to read, like 2/3 years ago, I can see myself actually loving the setting, the tropes, the characters and even some dialogues too. The old me in me would have spent days thinking, hoping and daydreaming about the book. But that is in the past. Now that I have actually read this book recently, all I can think about is how this 249 paged book would be a 100 paged novella, how all they had to do is talk. Just talk. Say your piece. Stop for a second and think. Maybe the monsters you see in the moonlight are actually ugly shadows of beautiful souls. For the love of romancelandia, talk sweetheart. Make a move and if you are doing it now, no matter how much time has passed, do it right. At least this time. Because we care. Because we, the readers, we stayed. We will stay, here, this side of the road, waiting. Choose. . . . Enough about me. Let's talk about you. Have you read this book? What is the oldest book in your TBR? What is your current favourite trope? . . . . #indianbookstagrammer #indianbookstagram #unitedbookstagramindia #romancelandia #romancereadersofinstagram #romancereadersofinstagram #romancestagram #italianmen #secondchanceromance #marriedcouples #bookflatlay #ebookstagram #kindlereader #ebookreader #ebookworm #ebooklover #ireadbooks #iheartbooks #booklovers #myreview #indianbookreviewer #bookrecommendations #unpopularopinions #bookreviewer #indianbookblogger #bookreview #mythoughts #myopinion #mywords #readersgonnaread #bookphotography (at India : South Asia) https://www.instagram.com/p/COUM8giLIPP/?igshid=7cm7r482rlzu

Top 5 memoirs to read!📕📒📗 1. Man's search for meaning: A memoir that tries to process the events of World War II, Psychiatrist Viktor Frankl's memoir examines his time treating patients who survived the Holocaust. He comes up with a theory, known now as logotherapy, that "our primary drive in life is not pleasure, as Freud maintained, but the discovery and pursuit of what we personally find meaningful." 2. Educated: Goodreads' choice for Best Memoir & Autobiography of 2018, Educated follows Tara Westover as she leaves her survivalist family in Idaho and sets off on a journey that leads her to earn a Ph.D. from Cambridge University. The reception to the book, and what it says about the gulf between educated and uneducated people in the United States, earned Westover a spot on Times list of the Most Influential People of 2019. 3. The diary of a young girl: Like Night, even though it was first published more than seven decades ago, Anne Frank's in-the-moment account of living in hiding in Nazi-occupied Amsterdam still resonates, bringing the events of World War II down to a personal level. 4. Tuesdays with moorie: Writer Mitch Albom's remembrances of his weekly visits to an old college professor in the last months of his life show the importance of absorbing as much wisdom as you can from the older people in your life — those lessons stick with you forever. 5. I know why the caged bird sings: There's a reason Maya Angelou's autobiography is a classic that's still widely read today: Angelou is able to so beautifully capture both struggles, and the joys, of growing up against the backdrop of racism in the United States.
