There is lots of qsmp lore current unknowns/loose ends, but tonight I ended up thinking about the things that aren’t
So! this is a list of qsmp resolved lore plot points, answers & things we have learned :D
More than one island exists
Quesadilla island is in point nemo
There are multiple factions present on quesadilla island - federation, rebellion, capybaras
The duck is the federation manager
There are multiple different cucuruchos - cucurucho, osito, ourson, oscurucho(?)
Elquackity and q!Quackity are different people
The nether is capable of exploring, and the federation goes there. but the portal technology is not stabilized (pluto’s gate, also what walter bob & the rebellion said)
Federation workers have a hierarchy of ranks and different specializations
The federation ran tests/experiments on the eggs and also people
The federation did lots of hybrid experiments
There is more unnamed eggs out there (egg A1, hope egg)
There is more named eggs out there (sunny, empanada, pepito)
The resistance/rebellion faction has been doing hidden operations on quesadilla island, the codes and masked guy who gave sofia’s blueprints are a part of it
Many workers of the federation are secretly a part of the rebellion too (like walter bob)
The rebellion was who helped q!Bagi and q!Cellbit recover their memories of being twins who lived on quesadilla island before
Codes can shapeshift into eggs
Codes are able to go rogue and develop individuality (codeflippa)
Code infection is a thing
There is at least two abnormal unaffiliated entities that exist- oscurucho and the eye guy
The eye guy took over “egg island” and renamed it to purgatory, using it to make the islanders suffer. you can take a train there and also sail on a boat
The wheel spins & dice rolls were all related to purgatory and the eggs
Little eye cyclops creature species exists on egg island
Shadow virus infection is a thing
The effects of the happy pills/risus potion and how to create the antidote
q!Dan, q!Spreen & q!Max are canonically dead
Spirits can return on día de los muertos
q!Bad is a demon and grim reaper
Ron did not get eaten, he lives on beautiful real estate with a cat
Soul infection is a thing
q!Baghera is a hybrid created by the federation
q!Fit was sent to quesadilla island from 2b2t on a mission
q!Wilbur when he’s gone performs with q!Lovejoy off the island to collect funds for the federation
Mr. Mustard was alive just invisible
q!Cellbit was the worker murderer
q!Cellbit and f!Cell are still the same person
q!Jaiden worked with the cucuruchos before
q!Slime can canonically shapeshift bc he’s slime
q!Pol worked with the federation to produce videos in the past
Cucurucho has a house
those are just all the ones off the top of my head, feel free to add what you remember too ^^

The water felt suffocating against your skin, it felt heavy with the remnants of your old isle, the home you'd grown up in nothing but ash at this point, stuck onto your garb long forgotten on the stainless vanity.
The claustrophobic feeling continued to claw up on your sides as you scrubbed your skin under the watchful eye of your captor, the sponge dug into you, leaving scratch marks in its wake, and the rough exterior failed to bring you the feeling of cleansing you desperately needed, the raw burn marks on the skin made you even more anxious in the face of a monster, who used the same instruments to ruthlessly mutilate the innocent lives, whether or not you knew them didn't matter, their soulless eyes that begged for help still followed you, who saw them every time you close your eyes.
He was the same, whether or not he was under the same roof, the walls had his eyes, his ears, and the haunting aura, even as he sat just a couple of feet away from you, outside the bathtub, his eyes pierced your defenseless self until you could feel every shift they'd make, over your hips, hair and back they'd travel, sizing you up while your hands shook under the warm and dirty water, how could he... How could he humiliate you to such an extent?
(you wish you had a power of some kind, to deny him and get out of his iron grip, let alone the entire ship. His eyes looked down on you as he pulled your stubborn body into the bathroom, with one command.
``Wash up.``
What words could get through a man, a creature that merciless?)
You flinched at every move from him, your every scrub and burn did not relieve the shame and guilt that came from your spare time thoughts, even as you bled from the scrubbing, your people had it worse, so why, why did he drag you into it? what did he drag you into. What could you have possibly done to get the attention of this beast? You already have an answer, Nothing.
The dense atmosphere clogged your thought processes as you sat in the water that lost its heat. Looking down at your reflection, he continued to monitor you. You hated him, you hated how he started at you like a creature whose existence he couldn't comprehend, eyeing you like an animal with an unknown glint swimming in his blood-colored eyes, almost like he was trying to dissect a metaphor set in stone.
You could only bite your moist lips and leave a crescent-shaped mark on your thighs while hearing his footsteps close the distance between your frames. The bubble of simple emotions sways beneath your skin, shaking your resolve under his shadow.
Fright, alarm, loathing, it all made you quiver.
His hand, free of his leather glove, bothers with slow and sensual touches across the canvas that you are, his silhouette is visible in the discolored water, despite not coming into it himself, and that's the last sight you see before shutting your eyes.
You can't stop his arm, long and muscular from years of experience trailing over your ribs and down your belly, into the water, Despite your knees and hands trying to push against it in vain, the limb proceeds to slither without any obstacles until it meets its destination.
Your grip loses its strength, clinging onto his muscle as you drop your head, letting your hair hide you from his unwavering gaze, Your blood boils, yet you take your anger out on your bottom lip.
His thumb hovers over your nether region, pregnant pause from him falls upon you. Has he finally decided to stop his intolerable actions against you?
The thought gets relinquished as soon as he eagerly entangles his fingers with your sex, an unexpected action leaving you breathless as he digs and digs and digs.
Your back arches off of him, trembling knees trying to find leverage as your hands once again tighten around him, though you don't open your eyes, you can almost feel the glare, an unknown emotion rolling off of him in thick waves. Your teeth aren't enough to muffle the groans and panting that escape your bloodied lips.
He rubs and rubs, fast and slow in no particular rhythm, thumb pressing against your clit, he places a pressure you were never able to on that bundle of nerves, before kneading, hard. Whimpers bounce off of the walls as your body shakes. It hates.
His fingers spread your rose apart and you've never felt more caged. More helpless and disgusted with yourself.
The tears slide down your cheeks, combining with the blood gushing out of the bitten lip and it trickles down towards the reflection of the water.
Your body contracts with the pleasure, closed eyes rolling back into your skull as your mouth hangs open, a wave of pleasure leaves you helpless, taking away the shame before it dwindles and handles the pain like a weapon, slamming into you full force as soon as his heat leaves your back, hand now out of water.
You close your knees, the tears flow like a waterfall across your face, wails that don't leave you shake your body in quiet prayer. You're scared to open your eyes. Scared to see the revolted faces of the deceased staring back at you, spewing words of shame you surely deserve.
His footsteps fade, yet his absence goes unnoticed.

Bring me a dream...
You stand brushing your teeth in an outdated bathroom.
The light over the vanity appears to be from the sixties and considering the way the bulb flashes and surges every few seconds with a zz-ut-zhut sound, it may be that old as well.
The light it gives off is yellow and dull; however, you aren’t very sure you’d like a bright view of that bathroom anyway.  The tub, sink, and toilet have more rings than the Olympics logo and the faucets are pockmarked with rust.
The tiny mosaic flooring tiles are missing in random spots and the bold floral designed wallpaper, which you are sure at one time contained bright yellows, oranges and greens, is now a faded façade that is barely clinging to the walls.
You roll your eyes and spit the last of the toothpaste foam from your mouth, “Not exactly the Hilton, but a bed is a bed.”
With a sigh you exit the small washroom, opting to leave on the flickering yellow light and close the door just enough to for it to act as a nightlight.  You are single, traveling alone, and unfamiliar dark rooms are intimidating. The sliver of light from the bathroom brings you some small amount of comfort, no matter the poor quality.
You walk stiffly through the small motel room.  After two straight days of driving, with little rest, your body feels like stone.  In your overly caffeinated, yet insanely exhausted, state you are trying to remember exactly why you thought driving from Georgia to your job interview in Oregon would be a good idea.
Ah, yes, Skinwalker Ranch.
You started watching the spooky series on the History channel months ago and have become obsessed with the thought of other-worldly portals that connect our world to places unknown.  In a misguided a-ha moment you decided to drive, instead of fly, so that you could pass through Gusher, Utah just to be close to the supposed interdimensional portals.
You know getting on the actual ranch will be a no-go, but you want to be in the town, as close as possible to the actual ranch, just to see if anyone has tales of their own to share of extraordinary happenings in the area.
So, that is how you ended up in this rundown motel pretty much in the middle of nowhere.
With a sigh, you pull back the old comforter on the bed, noting the dingy sheets with a shutter.  You hesitate for just a moment, contemplating if you should put leggings under your oversized tee shirt, but your tired body encourages you to tough it out.  Reluctantly, you crawl into the bed.
Since your last coffee was only an hour ago, a desperate attempt to make it to Gusher before your heavy eyelids forced you to stop, you are a little too wired to just drift off to sleep.  So, you pull out the latest creature-feature romance novel that you’ve been reading and turn to your ear-marked page.  You will read until the caffeine-kick wears off.
The small room is quiet except for the faint zz-ut-zhut from the blinking bathroom light.
In fact, the whole motel is as quiet as a graveyard.  You doubt any of the other rooms have occupants in them.  The parking lot was empty, and the front desk clerk seemed genuinely surprised to be checking someone into the establishment.
You twist to your left side, trying to get the aged lamp beside your bed to illuminate your book’s page.  You need to see the details clearly; the story is just getting spicy.
The story’s heroine has been fighting a growing attraction to her Centaur field-guide, whom she hired to lead her through a dangerous forest.  A recent Trogg attack has the suppressed protagonist clinging to the Centaur’s broad equine back as he races her to safety.  The author is detailing the baritone sound of his huffs of exertion, the heated moisture coating his muscles, and how the heroine is enjoying the bouncing rhythmic friction of the chaotic ride just a little too much.
You subconsciously swallow and rub your stacked legs together out of need.  You feel a slight ache in your nether region followed by the tell-tale sign of slick starting to gather at your entrance.  You shift your position, and the bedsprings protest with a squeak and a hiss.
You flip the page in your book, and you are halfway through the first sentence at the top of the page when the thought finally registers in your tired mind, did the bed just hiss?
You lower your paperback book to scan the bed and the dimly lit room.  The fossil-age lamp beside your bed and the sliver of yellow bathroom light illuminates the area around the bed decently enough but they do little to chase away the deep shadows in the far corners of the room.
Oh, how you hate the dark.  Ever since you were a child, you always felt like the darkness itself was watching.  Watching and waiting.
The longer you look at the shadows of the room, the more your skin wants to crawl with goosebumps.  You know it’s silly and that it is probably just your anxiety of being alone in an unknown space, but that same feeling of being watched surfaces in the back of your mind.
However, after a moment of observation, nothing seems amiss.  With a shiver and a shake, you turn your attention back to your book.
By the middle of the page, the heroine is reaching her peak bouncing up and down on the Centaur’s back.  You are fully invested in her ride, fantasizing about riding astride the strong creature yourself.  As your mind wanders, your body reacts to the imagery.  Your nipples harden under your nightshirt and your internal temperature peaks causing you to sweat.  You throw off your covers and start to fan yourself with your book, when you hear a muted in-take of breath, like a soft gasp.
In shock and fear, you bolt into a sitting position, “Who’s there?”, you call out in panic.
Your eyes and ears strain for clues.  The only movement and sound coming from the flickering bathroom light.
Seconds tick by, counted off by the zz-ut-zhut of the old light bulb.
The stillness growing into an uneasy stalemate.
You shift nervously on the bed.  Preparing, waiting.  Yet, nothing happens.
Slowly, your racing heart begins to ease.  The muscles around your eyes begin to relax as your body adjusts to burning through the last of your caffeine-high just now.
As your eyelids grow a bit heavy, a yawn surfaces.  Your face contorts in the yawn, your eyelids shielding most of your vision.  That’s when you see it, a flash of light deep in one of the room’s shadows.
No, that isn’t right.  It wasn’t a light, there were two.  You saw two flashes of light, almost like the blink of dual fireflies, in the corner across from you.
You quickly stifle the yawn, blinking back the reflexive tears from your eyes, and stare hard at the space.  Only, the lights don’t reappear.
Was it your imagination?  Is your fatigued brain experiencing hallucinations?
You focus hard on the corner, and you see something…at least, you think you do.
Is that…a shadow?
For a moment it’s there and then, with the next blink of your eyes, it’s gone again.  Was something there?
You strain to see.  Your eyes sting with dryness and feel gritty, even as tears from your yawn leak from the corners.  You squeeze your eyes shut repeatedly, trying to lubricate them.  Surely, you’ll be able to blink away the fog that seems to be forming on your pupils, obscuring your vision.  However, no matter how many times you try, your eyes refuse to focus.  You use the heel of your free hand to rub one orbital, in a pitiful attempt to literally wipe away the opaque quality of your vision.
Deep in the corner, the shadow flickers into existence and two glowing orbs reappear.  The orbs aren’t the luminous bottoms of bugs, they are two glowing eyes staring straight at you.
For just a moment, shorter than a gasp, your heart stops.  Pausing in stillness, preparing for the surge.
Then, with the quickness of a lightning strike, the adrenaline jolts through your system.  Your heartrate spiking, sending blood to your muscles, preparing you for fight and flight.
You instinctually shriek and fling the book in your hand at the tall form in the darkness while simultaneously rolling off the far side of the bed with a resounding thud.
“Tsk, tsk, is that any way to treat a coveted possession?”
The voice that you hear from your hiding spot beside the bed is masculine.  It has an elegant cadence with an accent you can’t place.  It sounds otherworldly, almost ethereal, and yet hollow, like it’s muffled.  The sound of a male voice inside the room with you triggers the third fear response, freeze.
You are utterly frozen in place on the grimy carpet, your mind racing.  Who is it?  How did he get in?  What does he want?  The sound of soft footsteps interrupts the chaos storming through your mind.  The footfalls are coming closer.
Over the lip of the mattress, you see a dark hooded figure leisurely making his way around the bed.  You just stare with wide eyes as he comes to a stop at the foot of the bed, stares down at you, and tilts his head to the side inquisitively.
Is it panic or shock that has your back glued to the floor, your body unable to move, or is it awe?
The man, no – that isn’t right, it can’t be right.
The being standing over you has swirling, glowing eyes.  You watch as the color of those luminous orbs shift and twirl in tones of blue, white, violet, and gold.  They are oddly mesmerizing and unnerving at the same time.  Just as your mind starts to get those in their depths, he breaks eye contact, and you watch those shimmering rings of light trace a line down your body, lingering with interest on the peaks of your nightshirt and the exposed swatch of your lacy underwear.
After a long pause at your lacy covered apex, those shining eyes blaze white and lift to make eye contact with you, “My lady, I do believe you are in need of my assistance”.  His eloquent, ethereal voice placing emphasis on the word ‘need’.
The bedside lamp casts enough light to reveal his face beneath the hood. His eyes aren’t just floating orbs, they are pupils set in a pair of elongated eyes, framed high and tight by steep cheek bones.  His skin, a deep velvety blue with sparkling specks that catch and reflect the light, resembling a starry night sky.  You can only see a small portion of skin around his eyes, and you understand why his voice sounds muffled, he’s wearing a mask over the lower half of his face.
You hear screaming.  It takes you a moment to realize the sound is coming from yourself.  Your voice sounds so far away, like you are having an out-of-body type of experience.
The creature…being…man, whatever he is, raises his finger to his masked mouth and issues a command, “Shhhhhhhh”.
A glimmering tendril of some type of floating substance, ribbons out from his hand, wafting over you, and stealing your panic.  Like a drug, your body starts to feel heavy and your voice stalls in your throat.
“Allow me to help you”, his foreign accent drawls out from behind his mask.  The shapes of his swirling eyes pinching thin, in what could be a cheeky grin, as he reaches down and takes your delicate hand in his indigo colored one, pulling you to your feet, your body just obeying.
Standing toe to toe it is apparent that this being is tall, at least 6’4” because your petite frame is only reaching the top of his chest.
You are staring up into those hypnotic eyes when you feel him grip your chin.  His fingers are tipped with dark claws, and he is careful not to stab them into the tender flesh of your face.
“Are you hurt?”, he questions behind his barrier, “Maybe I should check, eh?”
His long eyes turning cheshire-shaped from another impish grin.  You are feeling too dazed to protest when his free hand glides over your shoulders, down one of your sides, and pauses on your hip, gripping into the amp flesh.
“Who-what are you”, your words come out slow and groggy.
“Hmmmm, I am called many things by your kind, faerie, demon, Sonnaya Tuchka, Ole Lukøje, Pesochnyy chelovek, we call ourselves Zeez; however, my favorite is your tongue, what you called me when you were youngling.”
The creature pauses staring at you; your transfixed dreamy stare telling him that you were not processing his words as quickly as he is speaking.  He watches patiently as the information clicks into place in your mind, your eyes widening ever so slightly with the realization that you two have met before.
“You, my desert flower, called me The Sandman.  But, if you wish, you may call me by given name Der.”
Der’s face loses its brash flirtatiousness and takes on a more somber look, his eyes phasing more blue, as he releases your chin to run his outside of forefinger down the side of your cheek.  The action doesn’t feel intrusive or offensive, it feels more familiar…sad.
Your gaze swipes lazily across his face as your mind tries to fight through the haze clouding it.  You take in the colors and reflecting light of his skin, those enthralling eyes, and then your sight slides down to his covering.
“Why do you wear a mask?”
You watch the tall being’s shoulders shake with a huffing laugh, “Always the curious one.  You asked me the same thing when you were much smaller.”
He lifted a claw tapping the hard mask, the sound telling you it is made of some type of hardened leather or shell of some kind, “This is the burden of my kind, if we wish to remain culturally acceptable and welcomed in our world.”
Your forehead draws together in confusion.
Der’s eyes twinkle with mischief as he continues, “My kind’s verbalizations can be very persuasive without a filter to cushion its affects.  The other species of my world grew tired of losing partners to my kind’s talented tongues.”, he finishes with a wink.
Ah, his words are as beguiling and seductive as his eyes and the mask acts as his muzzle.  Interesting.
Maybe it’s the fact that you were nose deep in a creature-feature smut book just prior to his arrival, or the fact that you haven’t been laid in longer than you’d like to admit, but your mind betrays you.  An intrusive thought pops up out of nowhere, and your inner voice wonders just how tantalizing a sexual experience with this Zeez would be.
You feel Der’s glowing eyes on your face and, almost as if he reads your mind, the swirling vortexes of his pupils surge from a golden hue to bright white.  You watch the glowing whirlpools circle into ever deeper depths, pulling you under with their currents.
One moment you are standing in a dingey motel room with this otherworldly creature, the next you are sinking in a sea of sand.  The particles rush up your body as you sink further into the abyss.  Your nightshirt is lifted from your body and pulled away by the grit’s undertow.
Down you slide through the bottleneck of the sandy spiral, landing carefully on a bed of dark mist.  The hooded Zeez astride above you, smiling like a cat who ate the canary, behind his thick face mask, at the sight of your topless form on display for him.
“I have waited a long time for you to ask this of me”, Der purrs in his ethereal accent.  His indigo hand reaches up and detaches the muzzle from his lower face, revealing the remainder of his deep velvet skin and a wide fanged smile framed by a delectable set of dark blue lips.
Feeling self-conscience and exposed under his blazing glare, and his smile that is barely hiding some vicious looking teeth, your arms crisscross over your breasts in a protective manner.
“I-I thought you couldn’t remove the muzzle.”
Der opens his mouth, and a tongue of sand licks the tip of one fang, "Ah, but we are not in my world, my little desert flower, we are in your inner world.  Welcome to your dreamland.”
Without his face mask filtering his essence, the full force of the Zeez’s influence slides over you making you feel heady and drunk with euphoria.  The effect steals the air right out of your lungs, causing beads of sweat to pebble across your skin, your muscles to twitch for release, and your back to arch from the cool dark mist.  With just two short sentences, his words alone have you teetering on the precipice of an orgasm.
An unguarded moan slips past your lips causing him to chuckle.  The sound of his chuckle, much like that of sand flowing through a wooden cylinder ‘rain-stick’, is its own form of a soothing aphrodisiac.
He leans close and whispers into your ear, as your eyes flutter in ecstasy, “Hold on, my flower, I’ve waited too long for this opportunity to pluck you.”
The inner walls of your pussy twitch in rhythm to his vocal cadence.  To keep from crying out you bite hard into your bottom lip, breaking and bruising the delicate skin.
“Tsk, tsk, is that any way to treat a coveted possession?”, he growls at you in his thick accent.
You squirm as the slick between your legs becomes so abundant that it is pushing forward, up around your clit, “You-you, sa-said that about my-my book”, you stutter as your mind’s focus splits between talking and the throbbing of the delicate nub in your apex.
Der literally purrs.  His body vibrating above yours, tickling your exposed skin, he’s so close to your ear you can feel his lips brushing the shell with each word, “I was never talking about the book, Love.”
His purring, his lips caressing your ear, along with his declaration pushes you over the edge.  Your inner walls clinch in release.  Your hands forget their mission to guard your modesty and reach out fisting his hood cowl as your body shivers in release.
Der sighs in slight disappointment.  “Next time I will need to keep the mask on until we are further along, you are delightfully sensitive.”, he chides with a salacious grin.
Your release subsides and he slides your hands from his cowl.  As you lay cool in the swirl black mist of your own dreamland, the Zeez releases the clips of his hood cloak, shedding the heavy covering and exposing a torso that you were not expecting.
Instead of a swath of blue, speckled skin, you are shocked to see short sleek indigo fur coating his neck, the backs of his muscled arms, across his stout shoulders, and down his strong back.  The inner portions of his torso, his chiseled chest, and washboard stomach, sport that starry skin that matches his face.  A face that, now you can see, has a pair of long pointed ears on each side of its head.
Farther behind him a new astonishment swishes through the air, catching you off guard and causing you to jerk in surprise.  A long thin tail with a furry tuft at the end whips back and forth in anticipation.
You are in a state of shock and awe, staring mesmerized at the unique being above you.
“What are you?”, is what slips out of your mouth without going through your internal filter.
That same raspy chuckle of his, slides over your skin like a caress, “I am a Zeez.”
Seeing the lack of recognition, or satisfaction, on your face from his answer, he pauses a moment to rethink his approach.
“I guess your kind would most closely associate my species with your mythical Sphinxes or Manicores. We are timeless creatures with no natural end.  We originate from a cold dark desert in my world”, you watch his eyes dim a deeper hue of blue than you have noticed previously, “but that area is no longer ours.  We now live among tribes and clans of many.”
His long tail gives a sharp whip, creating a snapping sound and breaking his reverie.  Der’s eyes shift back into their golden, white tones as he stares down at you.  His fanged grin grows wide, and his purr returns tenfold.
Suddenly, you feel like a cornered mouse.  Plump and ripe for the devouring.
“You smell delicious”, he rasps out above his vibrations.
TO BE CONTINUED if you want(because it is time for me to catch some Zeez 😘)….

Author Note: There are three points to know about this story.
1. You may be surprised to learn that Der (and his species) are a MINOR character in my main book series that I'm trying to finish. I wanted a way to expand and explain more about Zeez and this story was born.
2. The book that Der's human is reading in this story will be a vehicle that I will use to introduce other MINOR characters/species from my books as well. So, yes, you will get the read the Centaur's story too, which will feature many of my own creature creations.
3. There is SOOOO much more to Der and his human's story. I am happy to tell it if anyone is interested. The amount of detail and I have created for all the characters still amazing me. (I have no life LOL).
Eh, let's throw a 4th point in here. Der's species was born from an a scene in an actual dream I had. It may not come across as well here in this story, but in further expansions of the story, it explains that humans can only see Zeez when they are tired or sleepy.
Hence the phrase...."catching Z's".

Baby c!Dream has made a friend! This is great!
He has unlocked: less loneliness! New social skill tree! Ally for dangerous missions! Interesting new snacks!
All of these are very exciting new things, and Dream and Sapnap quickly form a routine, they'll often meet up in the mornings, then they'll run off to find some place to go exploring.
The biggest problem is that unlikely Dream, Sapnap has a much more restrictive guardian. Said guardian was already quite upset that Sapnap ran off to a cave without telling him and wasn't too happy with him running off with an unnamed strange.
This meant that Sapnap had to go home every single night, unlike Dream who could stay out as long as he wanted. He did try to get back to the treehouse to meet XD once a week, but it wasn't really an issue if he couldn't. XD would always find him.
XD never got mad at him for wandering either, he was actually quite proud of little Dream for branching out and working on exploring.
Now, he wasn't happy the first time he found out Dream got hurt (it'd only been a handful of scraps from a recent fall, but the god had found himself unused to how humans bleed. He'd forgotten how fragile they are), but XD calmed himself down and just provided a number of handy potions and medical supplies so Dream could keep himself patched up.
So Dream and Sapnap would have to make sure that Sapnap was home on time, and particularly down in the caves, neither of them was great at keeping track of time.
This lead to Sapnap getting in trouble and not being allowed out for several days. And more importantly, the more it happened, the more Sapnap reported that his guardian wasn't happy to let him wander off with some stranger.
Sapnap had offered several times to bring Dream to meet his guardian, but Dream found himself wary. Sapnap was one thing, he was another child. Dream was even taller than him! So if anything went wrong, clearly Dream could handle it.
From what Sapnap said, Dream was not taller than Sapnap's guardian. He wasn't sure if he could take the man in a fight. So if something went wrong...
XD has also told him to be very careful about talking to other humans. He hadn't said that Dream COULDN'T, but he had said to be careful. What if Bad knew about magic? What if he asked a lot of questions? What if he was loud and got angry?
There were too many unknowns. Far too many for comfort.
So Dream made up excuses and put off meeting Sapnap's guardian for as long as he could.
In the end, he didn't really have a say in it.
See, one of the many things that Dream had learned was that Sapnap was a blaze hybrid. Apparently, it was a creature from the nether, which wasn't where they were now.
Blaze hybrids like Sapnap didn't like water very much. Sapnap could take baths and get wet, but he really didn't like it unless the water was warm. Cold water was bad. It could kill him.
Dream had learned that well over a month ago, but he hadn't paid it much mind until now. Until the ground had given out from underneath the two of them
For a moment, Dream was terrified of the fall. It was only for a moment though, because it turned out it wasn't that far, he just barely had time to grab a breath before his body hit the water.
It was Cold. Bone piercingly cold. Colder than any underground river Dream had been in before.
It was also a river, the current wasn't too strong, but Dream still had to fight to surface once he managed to get his brain back online. The cold sucked, but he managed to shove it to the back of his mind. Dream was good with cold. He could handle this.
Swimming was a bit harder, XD had taught him the basics, but he wasn't as good as Sap-
Oh no.
Dream frantically searched the surface he could see, trying to find his friend.
It was hard in the dark. Ever since the mask he couldn't see as well in the low light. Despite this, he managed to make out what looked like a shape drifting down river.
It wasn't moving.
Shoot.
Without thinking, Dream angled himself and paddled until he managed to reach the shape, kicking his feet to stay afloat as he desperately tried to maneuver the body of his friend upright.
The cold was numbing his hands, but he managed to get Sapnap flipped over so the other's head was up. Dream couldn't tell if he was breathing. He didn't know how to.
What he did know was he needed to get Sapnap out of this river now.
The two of them were drifting down stream, Dream wasn't sure where exactly it lead, but he could see a faint light a ways down and it was the closet thing he had to a direction.
Holding onto Sapnap, he kicked his feet and swam with the current until he was able to see where the light was coming from.
It was an opening above the river, there was a bit of a bank. Not much of one, but enough that Dream was pretty sure he could scrabble up it.
Getting up it with Sapnap would be harder, but Dream needed to. There wasn't another option.
As they came up on the bank, Dream gathered his strength and used one hand to pull himself out of the river and onto the shore.
He was almost pulled right back in as he tried to hold onto Sapnap, but with a tremendous amount of effort he managed to hold on and pull Sapnap up out of the water.
There wasn't enough space to lay Sapnap out or check on him here. So Dream was forced to suppress his shivering, pull Sapnap onto his back and slowly start up the steep bank towards the opening. He used one hand to keep his friend stable and the other to half crawl, half climb up.
As he climbed, he was acutely aware of the fact he couldn't feel any breathing from the figure on his back.
Although in fairness he also couldn't feel his hands anymore and those were bleeding.
It took ages, but he managed to crest the edge of the cave and pull them both out into the crisp autumn air. As soon as he was out, he fell to the ground. Taking deep breaths in as shakes wracked his body.
He needed to get up. Sapnap needed him.
Summoning what will he had left, Dream opened his inventory and pulled out a few of the potions that XD had given him.
Regen was best for anything that wasn't a gash. XD had even given him strength just in case.
Dream got two of the regen potions, one regular and one topical. Sapnap very clearly couldn't drink the potion so it'd need to do.
Breaking the topical potion's bottle, Dream spread it over his friend's face and neck like he'd been taught. The magic pulsed and fizzled, and for a moment Dream was scared it wouldn't take-
But it did. It glowed a bright pink and then absorbed into his skin.
That meant he was still alive. Okay.
Once that was done, Dream quickly chugged the second regen potion and followed it up with the strength.
The regen stopped the blood and while it didn't erase the cold, it did ease the numbness. The strength tore into the exhaustion eating at him and gave him enough strength to push himself to his feet and pick Sapnap back up.
The regen might've saved Sapnap for now, but he wasn't waking up. He needed to get warm again.
They were close to the entrance of the cave, which wasn't too far from Sapnap's nest. Dream could get him there. He had to.
The journey was a slog, even with the potions boosting him, Sapnap was heavy and Dream was tired and cold.
But he did it!!
Dream managed to get to the edge of the clearing where he and Sapnap usually parted, and after a moment. he pushed towards where Sapnap usually went. Down a little trail, he saw a house.
Relief hit him instantly, and then he saw a figure in the window.
The figure- a man? A demon? (He looked like one from Dream's books, but Dream couldn't be sure), saw him and-
Oh. They were coming outside. They looked upset.
XD had given Dream an invisibility potion, and if his fingers weren't numb and tired, Dream would've probably tried to use it in order to escape. But he couldn't.
The demon was out the door and rushing over and talking and it was way too much. All Dream could do was brace himself and hope that he would at least make sure that Sapnap was okay before he got angry.

having thoughts about the ancient city on this day
because like troy, this thing has layers
i got done with my observations in the flatworld and went to look at how it actually generates and ive learned this:
1 there is no wool from the original inhabitants (gray) outside of the heavily fortified walls and the hidden redstone room, that means no wool in the sauna, ice box, barracks, tall ruins etc
2 the creature in the statues is different from the warden, it looks like warden concept art but for our purposes thats not the warden, thats something else, if it was the warden then it wouldve been changed
3 the warden doesnt live here. let me rephrase that; in the deep dark dev diary video there was talk about how the sculk was like an organism and i think that tracks what with the catalyst eating the souls of the dead but that also means the following: sculk shriekers, not the ancient city, is what calls the warden, the warden defends the sculk not the city
oh lime, you say, why then be the ancient city covered in this fleshy moss
lemmi lay out the timeline
1 the ancient city people live in unwalled cities, or at least the walls dont look like they do now, the city centers as we see them today have three paths up to the.. dias? but only one is accessible due to the walls, they have some way to access the nether to get soul sand and they are very peculiar about refrigerating their items and keeping themselves clean.
there may have been a guardian mob like the iron golem for these people, one that had rounded ears
2 the sculk comes. how it arrives is unknown but it feeds on the dead and dying, it envelops blocks it likes and covers the rest in veins outside the flesh. the ancient people build walls that are insulated in wool, the walls are imposing and threatening in nature and divides the city into quarters, it cannot contain the spread, people still die. they start tinkering with redstone hoping to find something that stops the advance.
there may have been a construct like the iron golem that had its blocks enveloped by the sculk, its ears changed to antena
3
Death.
sculk by its nature is a sign that an area is no such place of honour. sculk by its very nature denotes the ancient city not as a historical landmark but as a graveyard covered with the corpses of its people.
eventually the people who lived there either die or relocate the cities are abandoned we mourn
there may have been a guardian of a city that is now a guardian of the flesh, a warden to a self made jail full of people that will die at the will of a hungry being so large and unknowable yet also so quietly peaceful
4 much later, the people who made the mineshafts (probably not following the age old proverb of never digging too deep) discover the ancient city and start exploring it with none of the caution that the late ancient people had. many die. they set up many camps and fortifications, it takes them a while to even learn that wool will save them. many die. soon they abandon whatever ideas they had about the city and either die or leave this cursed place full of death.

About withertale my finest dude...
What are their thoughts on us the y/n, player, anomaly building grand things, just anywhere.
I mean i make nether highways and we put packed ice highways for speed. (My friends) Its like we touch and can control what can hurt them water, and they control lava which even a drop hurts us.
But even in said nether hubs are decorated nicely and are protected from ghasts.
Like one day one part of the nether is barren then suddenly it's carved out with stones and woods never seen before
Vines and greenery placed precariously with magic that doesn't let them die. (I call it players magical green thumb)
And even on the chase outside
Buildings, castles, creatures. Art.
I've terraformed areas of lands massive to be farms and growing green.
All because we settled somewhere. For unknown Purpouses.
How do they feel about it?
I know they're territorial over their land... but do they build?
What do they think of this funny player, human, anomaly. Who unchecked can create beauty from destruction and also destroy it again just to rebuild something else?
As long as you don't touch their territories? It's perfectly fine. Witherborn themselves do build- just nowhere where you can see it. It's beyond a certain layer of bedrock that opens up to a massive SOUL valley filled with mountains and buildings- blues, purples, reds, oranges and yellows fluttering and flicking around the place.
They'd probably find the Player more relatable. Maybe a be a little less hostile- providing they're not messing up other ecosystems or pushing out the piglin and wither skeleton populations
( They don't want them thinking they can cross into their territories )
I definitely feel like they'd be curious, too!

History of the Minecraft Overworld
Initial Disclaimer: Obviously, this is only my own take on it. I love hearing everyones ideas, and this is merely my own take on it - I plan to do one on the nether and the end aswell
Tumblr media
Full timeline under cut, to avoid making a wall of text on peoples dashboard
Of course, whatever they were originally called has been lost to time. It is safe to assume they went by many names. But they are the oldest known civilization in minecrafita.
The surface was not safe during this time, enderman roamed the surface killing most of the ancients, and so they were driven underground. Not forever- they thought- one day they would return and take back their world. It is said some didn't flee to the earth, but rather to other planes. How they did so and if the story is true, is unknown.
In the earth, they made sprawling mineshaft's and learned the secrets of making strong cities underneath the earth, and created the first Golems. Tall, powerful creatures able to blast intruders. It kept them safe from enderman who wandered down, and other creatures that haunted the tunnels.
What ended up sealing their fates in this place was their own deaths. Corpses turning blue, making spores. People buried them in the stone, wanting to give proper burials but wanting to ensure whatever was infesting these corpses would stay gone. But they only provided a breeding ground.
The sculk grew under their homes, their streets, under the mineshafts. People unknowingly treading on it for years. Until all at once, it began to rise. The more people fought- the more people bled and died, the more it grew. When enemies came and died near the sculk- they too, caused its spread. The people tried, but it wasn't until their golems were infested with spores and turned from metal golems to organic beasts that trapped them inside their own homes like a horrible Warden- that they realized this was futile.
In fleeing, two groups formed. Those who fled to the surface- a place many had not been to in generations- and those who created the portal. Every citizen who stayed underground helped build the structure, a portal that would take them somewhere. They had no idea where- anywhere safe was what they wanted. The portal could only work once, and so it did.
Those who went through the portal were never seen by those who left to the surface again.
The surfacers expected a fight- the enderman ruled world they had known. But there was none, they had vanished- atleast for now. A boone they would not fail to take advantage of. And soon, a new era began.
Tumblr media
At the beginning of this era, when houses were still tents and homes were still just warm hugs, there was unity between all of the ancients who had found life on the surface. But, peace does not last forever.
The ancients had a wedge driven between them, some of them sought to prepare for the next wave of whatever may come for them. To prepare for war and battle. Others wished to live as they always have- peacefully.
The wedge settled in and created a divide, forming the two groups. The peaceful Ancients settled in villages across the biomes. The aggressive ancients wandered, creating towers for now as they learned new ways of combat. In their pursuits, many of them gained a grayer skin tone from times in the mines or spinding more time in the cover of night.
Eventually, what became known as Pillagers, began to raid. Setting up stronger towers to mount attacks from. They targetted larger villages, and any other structures they could find to loot from. When they had enough, they found a dark wooded biome that suitted them and created mansions. They avoided smaller places, and as such smaller villages became more common. But anyone who dared fight back and return home would have their village marked.
In the depths of ancient cities and mines, something remembered. Something found the carvings and pictures of long-gone families and remembered them. Something yearned for a sun they never knew. Something yearned for a life of their own.
And so evolution found its way, sculk formed itself in the way of the pictures. Made in the image of the ancients, but no longer having their true form to base off of.
The sculk formed hands to craft and pet, torso to be wrapped in and feel warmth. Legs to run and jump, eyes to see the sun it yearned for. But its kept the strength of its roots, able to gain strength from the death of other things. To absorb their essence, and use it for long-gone magics. To heal its wounds with tasty sustenance. The strong mind to do what the Ancients could not.
This beast of love, this creature made in the image of the Ancients, this thing of pictures and ideas, of infinity and the finite, started the new era.
Tumblr media
<Source>
This creature, now known as Steve, awoke on the surface. Perhaps in a forest, perhaps on a mountain. But the massive impact they had on the world is well known.
They found many days living in the sun, making temporary shelters, and exploring. Finding joy in it all. Building homes, mining in the darkest depths, creating new things. Enjoying the world.
But in the shadows of the night, they saw the scars of the suffering. Zombified corpses of people they did not know, and other such horrible creatures that they-despite their best efforts- could not bring to peace.
The villagers were almost defenseless against this new thing, only having iron golems, which were only a shadow of the great golems they once created when they were still ancients. But they found no such need. Perhaps the new person could not understand boundaries, or their speech very well beyond trade, but they understood kindness.
They helped defend against pillagers, but in the fights throughout the nights, they saw a creature in much more need of help. A tall creature, whose speech was just as incohereable as their own to the villagers. Whose power was different, and not of this world. But Steve saw pain in the eyes of this monster.
Steve traveled to the nether first, constructing things that- if they thought too hard about it- they were unsure how they came up with the ideas to make such things. But it felt like they knew it, as if they had felt the recipe in what was the infancy of hands so long ago.
But soon, they chased the Enderman where no Ancient had ever willingly gone too before. The End.
There, Steve faced their greatest challenger. There, Steve saw the faces of a kind they resonated with. Those who could not understand, but longed for a sun they were denied. Who longed to run and play by their own volition. To live as they wished.
And so, in a battle that tore them apart, they slew the beast. And they freed the end. And they returned home.
And for a moment, as they fell through time and space, as they descended and ascended back to their own home, they came to hear voices of love.
Tumblr media
Alex awoke on the surface, on a mountain. Or was it a forest?
Alex found they weren't alone, they found Steve. And soon Noor, Sunny, Zuri, and many others. Their world was filled with them now, wanting to live. Explore, fight, build, survive.
And so this era we live in, this era of exploration. Of finding new biomes to frolic and build in. This era of love. Of finding new animals to share with others. This era of kindness, of everything, of simplicity of...
> Well, I could go on forever now, couldn't I?
The only thing this cannot be is an era of peace. These creatures, now known as the 'players' still feel the beat of what they once were under the ground. The festering growth that refuses to know love. That does not yearn for a sun it does not know. That does not care for running and hugging. Only consuming and destroying.
But that fight is not an impossible one, not for them. They will find new ways to live, new ways to protect, and new ways to free their world.
And so the Era of love is written, and it is still being written. Written by hands that bathe in sunlight, that run and feel the grass. They show and are shown kindness. Perhaps you will write your own note in this era.
But even if you don't, it does not matter. Because you are love. And I love you.

Are the chronodae a concept that you came up with yourself for this story, or is there real life myths behind it? It’s a really interesting concept, so my mind is hyper focusing on them 😂
you can definitely trace its influences from doctor who, and the idea of a 'time demon' is based on barbatos' existence in-game - but i didn't (knowingly) base it on anything directly! as a race they're just something i made up haha
but!!! since you're interested, i'll share another bit of lore! the chronodae are a primordial race, from which the modern demon (those born in the devildom, like diavolo) is descended
when chronodae die, they decompose into 'dark matter', which makes up the nursery layer where new demons are born. at some point, new chronodae stopped being born; the ability to manipulate time was lost, and so the modern demon came to be
demons and angels share a common ancestor, which is why fallen angels ('disgraced' angels) become demons, while reapers come from the same evolution line as chronodae
here's a little diagram (that might just make things more confusing):
Tumblr media
now what the heck are the 'strange creatures'?? this is a sort of transition species that comes from the decay of the 'overseer' species. the overseers' corpses formed the physical celestial realm and nether realm (where the devildom is located) while the 'strange creatures' shaped these realms into what they are today
the ability to mess with time is an instrument of chaos, thus only the chronodae could do it; the proto-angels, under their father (who may not actually be an 'overseer', and might just be a 'strange creature' playing god, but who knows), are agents of order, and instead gain the whole light-exuding, holiness and blessings thing
note the 'weird link to humanity' - what the link actually IS is unknown, but it's why all these species ended up having human-looking appearances - the 'strange creatures' were shapeshifters, and early chronodae and proto-angels were also more monstrous-looking
this link is also why reapers can observe human lives with their candles, why demons can form pacts with them, and why angels can bless them
reapers are born from vivus wax, which is essentially a mutated version of the dark matter that demons are born from. since reapers arose from a 'mutation', they don't share the same connection that angels and demons do
there are no proto-angels still alive - reasons unknown - and the surviving chronodae are the last of their kind. all except one overseer is gone, and strange creatures died out as well, since the current state of the three realms is no longer conducive to their survival
(don't ask me what the ? in the reaper line is i haven't figured that out yet ; - ;)

Minecraft Magic & Magic Items
All living things have Souls, and those Souls can be harnessed with certain tools. Soul Soil/Sand and Sculk holds Souls, as the Soul seemingly gets sucked in when an individual dies on it.
An interesting phenomena that can occur with Souls can be seen in the case of the Wither. Composed of Soul Sand and Wither Skulls, the many Souls that comprise this vengeful creature are compressed into an object known as a Nether Star. The Souls within this Star are volatile, and can be calmed by being put into a Beacon, as the offering is placating to them.
Souls can also be used to power Magic, as seen with Enchanting. Lapis Lazuli acts as a conduit, helping the magic of the Souls be transferred into the subsection of magic we call 'Enchanting'. Enchanting magic is the act of transferring runic text onto items to give them magical properties or power. Enchantment magic can be applied to anything, with its most common application being tools. Examples of the Unbreaking enchantment being used on priceless heirlooms is common, as families do not wish for them to break. There are many Enchanting applications that may seem unorthodox or uncommon, but are very useful. There is also a subsection of Enchanting magic known as 'Curses', such as Binding and Vanishing.
Enchanting is not the only type of magic, as there is Summoning, Necromancy, and Casting. Summoning magic is commonly seen with Villagers and Illagers, as Villagers have been recorded as summoning protectors for their village, and Illagers known as Evokers have the ability to summon Vexes. It is unknown if Witches familiars are summoned or if they are simply tamed. Necromancy is a branch of magic regarding the undead. This branch uses summoning techniques, but has its own classification due to its broader applications, such as turning the living into undead and other methods. Necromancy magic is commonly seen with what some call 'spawners' as it imbues nearby corpses with necromantic energy.
Casting magic can also be seen with Evokers, as they can create fangs to attack their foes. Other Illagers called Illusioners can blind their victims and duplicate themselves via illusion magic. Curses can also be Castes, as seen with the Illager Curse 'Bad Omen' and a curse called 'Bad Luck'. Magic is normally cast due to the user having an affinity for it, or learning it through study and trial and error. Casting can be done in numerous ways and an increasingly common way is the use of magic items. Wands, tomes and artifacts are common ways of storing magic for later use, with Illagers spearheading the technology. A common example of a magic item that most, if not all Illagers use is the Soul Healer. This is in part because Illager magic calls upon the users life force, so their Soul needs to be constantly healed.
Magic is a powerful thing and must be dealt with carefully, as it's affects and influence can be seen all across the world.

Did Elizabeth Woodwell leave anything for her children when she died?
Tumblr media
Hi! Yes, fortunately we do have Elizabeth's will in full preserved so we can talk about it. Elizabeth retired from court life around 1487 (she did occasionally appeared at court, most notable she was present when her daughter Elizabeth of York was giving birth to her granddaughter Margaret in 1489) and lived the rest of her life in Bermondsey Abbey. The cause of Elizabeth's death is unknown, she made her will in on the 10th of April 1492 and died on the 8th of June 1492 which can be indicative of the fact that her health was declining for some time. The current abbot, John de Marlow, who had officiated as a Deacon at the funeral of Edward IV witnessed Elizabeth’s will. The will is very simple but in my opinion very touching.
The will begins, ‘I Elsabeth by the grace of god Quene of England late wif to the most victoriouse prince of blessed memorie Edward the fourth’. It shows that Elizabeth still very much considered herself a queen, and wife to the most victorious prince ""the blessed memory" Edward IV - seems that she still had deep feelings for her late husband (Edward was dead for 9 years by then).
Elizabeth requested that she was to be buried alongside Edward at the chapel in Windsor Castle "according to the will of my saide Lorde and myne". She specified that she did not want the funeral performed with any pomp or under any great expense. As she had no worldly goods to bequeath to any of her remaining children ("I have no wordely goodes to do the Quene’s Grace, my derest doughter, a pleaser with, nether to reward any of my children, according to my hart and mynde"), she asked God to bless them, and with ‘as good hart and mynde as is to me posible’, she gave her children her own blessing. She then asked that ‘such smale stufe and goodes that I have’ be given away as seen fit, giving preference to any of her blood who wished to have them. I find it exceptionally touching that she send her blessing specifically to Elizabeth of York with all her children definitely knowing Elizabeth of York was excepting at the moment and was in confinement when her mother died so couldn't attend her funeral ("I besech Almyghty Gode to blisse here Grace, with all her noble issue").
Here is the will in full:
“ IN Dei nomine, Amen. The xth daie of Aprill, the yere of our Lord Gode Mcccclxxxxii. I Elisabeth by the grace of God Quene of England, late wif to the most victoroiuse Prince of blessed memorie Edward the Fourth, being of hole mynde, seying the worlde so traunsitorie, and no creature certayne whanne they shall departe frome hence, havyng Almyghty Gode fressh in mynde, in whome is all mercy and grace, bequeath my sowle into his handes, beseechyng him, of the same mercy, to accept it graciously, and oure blessed Lady Quene of comforte, and all the holy company of hevyn, to be good meanes for me. It’m, I bequeith my body to be buried with the bodie of my Lord at Windessore, according to the will of my saide Lorde and myne, without pompes entreing or costlie expensis donne thereabought. It’m, where I have no wordely goodes to do the Quene’s Grace, my derest doughter, a pleaser with, nether to reward any of my children, according to my hart and mynde, I besech Almyghty Gode to blisse here Grace, with all her noble issue, and with as good hart and mynde as is to me possible, I geve her Grace my blessing, and all the forsaide my children. It’m, I will that suche smale stufe and goodes that I have be disposed truly in the contentac’on of my dettes and for the helth of my sowle, as farre as they will extende. It’m, yf any of my bloode wille any of my saide stufe or goodes to me perteyning, I will that they have the prefermente before any other. And of this my present testament I make and ordeyne myne Executores, that is to sey, John Ingilby, Priour of the Chartour-house of Shene, William Sutton and Thomas Brente, Doctors. And I besech my said derest doughter, the Queue’s grace, and my sone Thomas, Marques Dorsett, to putte there good willes and help for the performans of this my testamente. In witnesse wherof, to this my present testament I have sett my seale, these witnesses, John Abbot of the monastry of Sainte Saviour of Bermondefley, and Benedictus Cun, Doctor of Fyfyk. Yeven the day and yere above said.”

Going Home
Dream and George are finally together again, and their first plan of action is to get to the End and kill the enderdragon. Easy enough right? Nothing will go wrong right?
Disclaimer: This is a non-tickle fic
Finally here and done! Part one of three to the next part of the God Sibling AU. This fic has no tickling in it and is mostly lore stuff. But do not worry, part two is coming right after this one and it has ticking. Feel free to skip this one if you like but you might be missing some stuff.
Apologies for the sudden perspective shift in the fic as well, originally it was planned differently and I really didn't want to undo all the work put in so they were merged to one.
Enjoy!
---
It was nearing to a months worth of travel for Dream and George. The first couple of days had been spent sneaking and avoiding being caught while they traversed through the SMP and the Nether. George was lucky as he could still be seen without anyone catching on, but Dream had to jump to a bush or up a tree at the sign of anyone passing by.
Even with the server on high alert, the two had made it to the edge of the SMP’s usual zone and ventured out further. Their steps were easy now that they didn’t have to look over their shoulders every few seconds.
Even though they were far away from the usual area, they decided travelling by night would be better to avoid being caught. When the moon was high they’d walk, fighting their way through the mobs and when sunrise came they’d build a small underground home and sleep the day away. They’d usually wake around sunset and repeat the process.
The first week was spent with Dream explaining as much as he could to George. The stronghold, with the portal still in tact, would take the two to the End realm. After dropping the bombshell that Dream was from the End, he went on to casually explain that when they arrived, they’d meet a dragon and the plan was to kill it.
George’s mind raced wildly to all the information he was suddenly given and just told to accept. Setting aside his questions for now, his focus was entirely on the dragon. George had never seen a dragon before. Of course he’d seen pictures of dragons and heard stories of them, but that was all make believe. Now Dream was telling him that not only were they real, but they were also going to kill it.
“I’ve seen it once before, but I don’t remember it much.” Dream admitted as the two were carefully climbing over the vines on the tops of the jungle trees. “She was big - I think it was a she - and she’s vicious. She took over the End.”
“How are we supposed to kill it then?” George asked, trying not to let the mental image of his creature grow any larger.
“Because she’s been trapped there, alone, for years. Apparently she showed up in the End before I was even born. Way before. And she’s been trapped on this little island.” Dream explain, talking fast in the way he’d do when his mind was running high with excitement. “And she’s had no-one to fight. She’s had no-one to fight all this time so she’s probably grown weak, and even if she hasn’t she’ll be old by now. We can take her.”
Dream’s confidence was infectious, but also scarily daunting. Because when Dream was confident nothing could talk him out of it or change his mind and George made himself accept that.
After explaining his plan to kill the dragon, Dream said how the End was full of scattered cities that held powers unknown. Potions, knowledge, even the power to fly. If Dream and George controlled that, then they’d have control of the server. When George brought up XD being an issue, the blonde scoffed.
“He won’t even bother.” He shrugged. “He won’t even know it’s happened until we’ve got everything we need. Then he has to listen to us and we’ll make him see things our way.”
“What exactly is ‘our way’?” George asked.
Dream shrugged that answer off too, claiming the usual things about power over the server, having control over it all. George wasn’t so sure, but it’s not like he had much of a plan either. Control over the server was a tempting thought, even though it’d be a hell of a lot to explain to the others.
Speaking of the others, George had very tentatively tried to bring up the subject of Sapnap, and trying to talk with him and maybe get him involved but Dream shut that down. He claimed now wasn’t the right time for that, and they’d get Sapnap back but it had to be later, after everything was in place. At least George tried.
The second week, the two laid out rough battle plans. Assuming the dragon could fly - which Dream was sure she could - they’d need arrows. Dream had the plan that if George could distract her, he could build up and jump on the dragon to take out her wings. Once she was grounded it would be easier to fight her.
The third week, tension started setting in between the two. They were disorientated from the sleep schedule and everything was starting to annoy them. They’d bicker over nothing which turned into stupid fights and ended with them both stomping off to sleep separately. But it always ended when Dream would seek George out, shuffle into his bed behind him, hugging the smaller man and whispering apologies.
“I didn’t mean it.” Dream mumbled into the back of George’s neck. “I’m sorry. I need you, George. I can’t do it without you.”
And they would carry on, though George wondered if they would have been so forgiving to one another if they weren’t already so close to the coordinates. It came into the fourth week and the two arrived.
George had expected the thick forest to start breaking up into a clearing, or they’d eventually catch sight of a temple hidden in the overgrown forest but there was nothing like that. The two stood in the middle of the forest and only when George looked at the coordinates again did he realised what he missed. The stronghold was underground.
Digging down into the stronghold didn’t take as long as they had thought, but when George looked back up, the surface was a barely visible tiny dot. Dream broke through to the stronghold and George followed in after. George didn’t really know what to expect with a place called a ‘stronghold’ but somehow the place made sense. The two landed in a dark stone brick corridor. There were iron doors to the right and left and ahead there was a short staircase, leading down to a crumbled in wall.
Dream’s excitement overtook George’s curiosity to look around so the two had found the portal room in  couple of minutes.
The room was wider than any of the other rooms. To the immediate left and right there were small pools of lava, making the room shine out in the dark corridors. The walls were lined with thin metal bar windows which didn’t make much sense since the stronghold was underground. The windows were looking out to complete blackness.
The main show of the room was in the centre. There was a three wide staircase leading up to what must have been the portal. It was a three by three wide structure, made up of strange blocks George had never seen before. They looked like stone, but slightly yellow and rough, and the tops of them were decorated with green trims. The middle of the block was hollowed out, making a perfect indent for the ender eyes to fit into. Under the portal frames was a huge pool of lava, which George quickly got rid off with water before any accidents could happen.
“Yes! This is it! This is IT!” Dream’s voice rose with his excitement and immediately set down his bag. He admired the portal frames, looking over every detail of them, while George took another look around the room.
In his shock to actually finding the room and looking over the portal he hadn’t noticed the strange growth along the back of the floor.
None of the stone bricks were cracked, but along the floor and climbing up the walls was a strange moss. Or maybe not even a moss. It looked like it had the same texture but it wasn’t spread out in large clumps, more like tiny little sprinklings here and there. There were small speckles of lights in the moss, pulsing with a faint glow every few seconds.
George thought the moss looked familiar. He was sure he’d seen it before, exploring somewhere with Dream and XD but when he looked at the moss on the wall his eyes caught onto the barred windows again. What he assumed was just the darkness of stone against the walls was actually more of the moss. Outside of every window it was covered in the moss.
“Uh… Dream?” George turned back to see Dream setting up a base of some sort. He had set up the beds and was sorting through his inventory. “What’s this… I don’t know, this moss?”
Dream gave just a quick glance over, hardly looking and turned back to his task. “I dunno.” He shrugged. “Moss must have grown from the damp.”
That seemed near impossible. The lava pools kept the room warm and dry, but it wasn’t exactly a normal looking moss so maybe it didn’t grow how normal moss did. George was more annoyed to the fact that Dream wasn’t taking it seriously.
“It’s not normal…”
“It’s not our concern. Just…come over here! Let’s go over the plan.”
George dropped it, because that would be the end of it. Dream had moved on to the next thing, and George would follow.
He had half expected Dream to want to jump right in to minimise the risk of being caught by DreamXD, but Dream had a lot of faith in their ability to remain hidden. He set up a small base for them in the portal room with the beds and made a last minute list of things they needed. The two then split up collecting them. Dream went to take on skeletons for the bows and arrows, and George’s collected as many blocks as he could.
Both exhausted from the day, they agreed to sleep, gathering their strength for the battle coming tomorrow. George could see Dream’s excitement before they laid down to sleep. He was practically shaking with glee, mumbling to himself and very few times he’d address George with, “We can do this. I know we can.” But George couldn’t tell if he was saying it as a confidence boost, or trying to convince himself.
George fell asleep staring at the moss glowing through the metal bars. The glow was eerily hypnotic, making George feel unsettled and fear if he looked away the moss would somehow move. He fell into an uneasy sleep, with the glow always watching.
The two woke, anxiety and excitement thick in the air between them. George was trying to eat for strength and settle his nerves as he watched Dream zip around from chest to chest, sorting out their inventories.
Dream must have woken sometime before George, because his once long and scraggly hair was cut short. It came to his shoulders now, unevenly cut, but it was looking more ruffled and fluffy than unkempt. He looked more like himself as he threw it back into a messy ponytail.
After an uneasy breakfast, they went over their materials. Each of them had a diamond sword, a diamond pickaxe, a water bucket just in case and iron armour (which George wanted to be diamond but they didn’t have time to find any). George was then given a bow with most of the arrows and Dream was given majority of the blocks mined with his own bow and a few arrows.
They both stood at the top of the stairway leading to the portal. All the eyes had been filled in except for one, which Dream held tightly in his hand. It pulsed more than ever, like it knew what was happening and just anticipating this moment.
“Once I put in the last eye, we need to jump in right away.” Dream explained. George looked over the edge nervously, obviously not liking the idea of just falling into a portal but he was glad he took care of the lava underneath.
“You remember the plan?” Dream asked and George only gave a slow nod, eyes not leaving the portal frame. “We can do this. Our plan will work. We have this.”
If the words inspired George as they seemed to Dream, it wasn’t shown. He just held his sword tightly and looked down to the portal. After a moments silence he gave a slow nod.
It was like the world fell into slow motion. George watched, with held breath, as Dream reached down and positioned the eye over the portal frame. His fingers slowly let go and the eye fell from his palm, falling perfectly into the frame. As soon as the eye touched onto the frame, a large thunderous boom erupted from the portal and echoed over what felt like the entire server. George’s ears felt like they were about to explode, but the feeling past in less than a second as the sound faded out.
The boom seemed to the right the world back into regular time. The frame suddenly lit up, and the spot in the centre  was filled with a strange portal.
It looked like a night sky, but instead of a blue tinge, it was green. There were speckles of blue and teal stars shimmering and shooting through. It looked like DreamXD’s mask.
“We need to go now!”
Dream’s voice broke George from this thoughts and he looked over. His own expression must have been in doubt, because Dream quickly reassured him. “We’ve got this, okay? It’s me and you! We can do this!”
“Dream I…” How long had they stood here now? How soon would XD realise something was wrong and fly straight to them? How much trouble would they be in?
“Please George…”
Dream’s voice was soft and it flicked some kind of switch in George. Suddenly he wasn’t worried for the trouble he’d be in. His thoughts were on Dream. He imagined XD finding them, grabbing them both. He saw XD dragging Dream back to the prison, who was screaming bloody murder and he was locked away again. Locked further away with no visitors and no chance for freedom.
That thought scared George more than whatever lay on the other side of the portal. This was the only option now.
Dream’s hand outstretched and George grabbed it with no hesitation. Dream pulled, and the two fell into the portal together.
The nauseating feeling of teleportation was never something Dream got used to. In his defence, he had only ever felt this type of teleporting once before. Like plunging into cold water but without getting wet. It felt unnatural.
It could have been seconds or hours passed before Dream felt right again. He could slowly feel the world shape around him. The stone against his back was rough and uneven. He slowly opened his eyes, blinking up to a yellow sky.
No. Not a sky. It was stone. Rough, uneven yellowish stone.
Dream’s thoughts quickly went to George, and he looked around to see the brunette was not that far away. The two had teleported into what looked like a boxed off room, and George was only a few feet away, pushing himself to stand up.
Dream followed after, turning over and pushing himself up. The yellow stone felt rough under his hands. The air wasn’t cold, but it didn’t feel warm either. It was like an absent of temperature, something that couldn’t really be described. But as weird as the air felt, and as rough as the stone was it felt familiar to Dream. A thousand memories swarmed back into his head, making him nauseated with nostalgia, but he shook them away and tried to focus on the now.
Now he was here. He was in the End. He was with George. He and George were going to kill the dragon.
“Are you alright?”
George’s voice full of worry snapped Dream out of his thoughts and he looked over. The mismatched were worrying over him as well, confusing Dream until he realised he was leaning over the wall.
Quickly shaking off his fatigue Dream pushed himself up. He had to swallow back the bile in his throat before speaking, but he kept himself controlled and stood up straight. “I’m fine.” He forced his hand of the wall and made his legs balance. “The portal just confused me.”
It was eerily quiet, but the two knew there would be more outside this box. Dream chose a random wall and George helped him dig it out. George dug straight ahead and Dream started digging up, making a staircase up until he finally broke through to the outside. He called George up after.
Over the travels Dream had tried his best to explain the End, but there was really no words to describe it. When the two broke out into the surface it was a completely different world. They were on an island floating in the middle of a void. The sky was an endless sea of dark purple with what looked like tiny stars in the distance; never in focus.
The island must have been huge, as Dream couldn’t see the other end of it, but directly behind them was a fall into the void. All over the island enderman aimlessly wandered or stood in small groups speaking to one another. Few noticed the two and even less looked their way; though Dream and George were doing their best to avoid looking at them.
While the island seemed massive it wasn’t empty. Just a few feet ahead there were large obsidian towers that varied in different sizes. Some were tall, but others reached so high that the tops of them couldn’t be seen. They seemed to form an uneven circle around and Dream guessed there would be more towers on the other side of the island as well.
But why are they here? Did XD put them here? Do these towers keep in the dragon?
Dream tried sorting through the new memories. He thought he could remember seeing the black towers before, but he honestly couldn’t be sure.
“Where is it?” George asked, not leaving Dream’s side. He clutched his bow close to himself as he looked around. “The dragon? Where is she?”
Suddenly remembering the mission, Dream pushed aside his memories for now and his eyes scanned the area. A dragon would surely be easy to spot, yet Dream saw and heard nothing.
Going as quietly as they could, Dream and George ventured further to the middle of the island. Or what they could assume was the middle. The more tentative steps they took, the more obsidian towers kept coming in to view over the horizon.
“There’s something on top of the towers.” George pointed out. Dream looked over him, then followed George’s line of sight up to the tops of the tower. There was something on top of them. It was giving off a faint glow and bobbed up and down like it was keeping afloat. “What are they?”
“I don’t know.” Dream’s voice came out in a part growl through his gritted teeth. He was annoyed there was so much he didn’t know, so much he didn’t plan for, but it probably came out as being annoyed about George because his friend suddenly went quiet.
The words to apologise were on the tip of Dream’s tongue, but as he opened his mouth to speak, a sudden low rumbling sound filled the air and he shut his mouth quickly.
It sounded like it came from all around them. A deep growling within the stone that just grew louder and louder.
Dream switched to survival mode and grabbed George’s arm to pull him to one of the tall towers. They pressed their back against the obsidian while looking around for any sign of the dragon. Few of the enderman were moving to the edges of the island but they weren’t moving quickly or in a panic. The rumbling turned into growls and just before Dream left to check on the other side of the tower, he saw it.
It was a claw. A long, black claw attached to a huge black scaled hand that stretched up high before slamming into the ground, digging into the yellow stones. There was a low rumble and the hand pulled more of itself up. There was the huge body of the dragon. Dark opalescent scales shimmered and stretched along the flank. A large leathery wing outstretched up. The back leg caught onto the end of the platform and pulled itself up further. And just before the head of the dragon appeared, George grabbed Dream’s arm and pulled him to the other side of the tower and out of sight.
Dream heard the words “that’s her” again and again, but when he looked to George he realised the words were coming from himself. George hissed him to be quiet.
Dream strained his ears to hear where the Dragon was moving. The growls seemed to sway back and forth on the side of the pillar before the creature made her way forward.
The Dragon was larger than Dream ever remembered. She had a wide forehead that tapered to her muzzle. Her grey horns stretched along her neck, blending in with the spikes that ran down her neck and spine and ended on her tail.
Before she took another step forward, Dream and George slipped around the tower again, keeping out of sight. The Dragon growled again, and gave a half hiss as she walked towards the middle of the island.
“Dream look!” George hissed in a whisper. He pointed to the Dragon’s side, where there were long slashes leaking a neon purple blood. “She’s hurt.”
“Maybe we can get the jump on her while she’s weak.” Dream said, feeling hopeful for the first time since seeing the beast. “We can… Wait…”
Dragon hissed and winced as she made another step forward. She veered off from the centre of the island, going to one of the obsidian towers and slowly climbing up it. Her claws barely made a dent into the cooled lava stone, but she got enough of a grip onto it where her head perched at the top, and something began to glow and then shoot a ray of white and purple light towards her.
The ray wasn’t harmful, that was clear. Dragon almost seemed like she was consuming the light, opening her mouth and making a low growling sound but the light was shooting off, like it was electricity, into her chest and body. The thick gashes on her sides slowly began to close and then they vanished.
“Those towers heal her.” Dream mumbled out loud.
“What now?” George asked, his voice just on the verge of panic.
As Dragon climbed back down from her perch and sauntered over to the centre of the island, Dream and George pushed further back around the tower, completely out of sight, and began to revise a plan.
“Okay.” Dream started. “She gets healed by whatever is on top of those towers. I think I can see one of them.” He pointed out to one of the further towers. There was  shape at the top of it, but he couldn’t make it out. “So I’ll go up and destroy them.”
“She’ll see you then!”
“Yes!” Dream quickly calmed his friend. “She will, so I need you to try and distract her with arrows. If you watch me build up and see just as I destroy whatever is up there, then shoot at her and get her attention. From a distance!” Dream quickly added when he saw George open his mouth to argue. “Then when I’ll destroy another one of those things and she’ll try get back to me. Then you distract her again.”
“That’s not going to work. She’s going to either charge and kill me, or she’ll go straight for you!”
“Then if she goes for me, you take over taking out things at the top of the tower! If she’s going for you, you can outrun her.”
“Outrun her?! She’s a dragon! She’s going to fly over and kill me!”
“Then do you want to take out the things on top of the tower?!”
He knew he was unfairly snapping. Being so frustratingly close to his goal and being argued with at every step was a pain; but he knew the questions and the concerns George were bringing up were important and valid to talk about.
“I just… I know you can do it.” Dream calmed himself down to talk again. He saw George’s shoulders slack a little. “But we’re so close, we can do this.”
“Can’t we just…leave the island?” George asked hopefully, pointing out to the edge. “We have ender pearls, blocks, and we can mine out a few more blocks from the edges of the island. We can look for the cities and ships without fighting her.”
“No! She has to die.”
“Why?”
Because Dream couldn’t think of the dragon without remembering a long ago promise. When he was small and lived here, and XD was constantly checking on the beast with a worried look on his face and Dream promised he’d kill the dragon. He’d free the End for everyone and XD had shot him down. He told little Dream he’d go nowhere near the dragon but Dream kept that promise in his heart. He’d kill the dragon and the siblings could go home again, and they could open the End for everyone else.
And XD would be proud of him again.
“She needs to die.”
He could see the fight still in George. He opened his mouth to say more, but instead he just closed his mouth. He resettled the bow on his back and sighed. “Alright…”
They made a check of where Dragon was, then set off. She was slowly circling the island, so Dream started climbing up the tower she used to heal herself. George said he’d get closer to Dragon but not too close and Dream only hoped he was in position as he got to the top of the tower.
The structure at the top of the tower was something Dream had never seen. It was hard to stare at without his eyes hurting. It was like two cubed crystallised glass that constantly bobbed up and down over the ground. The crystals were constantly in motion. One of the glass squares was on the outside and there was one on the inside, constantly spinning and flipping around but they never tangling or getting in the way of one another. In the centre of both of them was a dark pink cube. It was spinning in time with the crystals and glowing with symbols or text Dream couldn’t recognise.
Dream thought it best to be cautious dealing with whatever this was. He broke two blocks below him, making a sort of cover area for him and looked around for George. He couldn’t see the brunette at all. Dragon was still calm, so she hadn’t found him but he was completely out of sight. Dream had to assume he was somewhere behind one of the pillars and readied his bow.
The arrow hit the crystal, and the explosion was as loud as Dream suspected. He had ducked down behind the tower just as the fiery explosion rushed past his head. When the heat died down, Dream heard Dragon growl. He managed to sneak a look around the corner to see her whip her head around to the tower he was on and his heart thumped.
She took one step closer, slowly opening her maw but an arrow then flew to the side of her face. It hit to the side of her mouth and was enough to turn her attention. She made a half roar, and turned herself to the direction of the shot.
Dream just managed to catch George running behind a tower, next to a hole in the yellow stone. He jumped down, covered it up and by the time Dragon got behind the tower he was fully gone.
Relief flooded through Dream’s veins, relaxing the grip on his bow and began climbing back down.
Dragon was still frustratingly looking for George as Dream blocked up to the next tower. He looked around for any sign of George and he saw him just digging up from the ground, popping his head up and looking for Dream. When he saw Dream in position he readied his bow.
The two worked well, getting rid of two more crystals with this pattern. Dragon’s growls were growing more frustrating with every explosion and distraction. On the last crystal it took George two arrow shots before she gave up going for the tower. Dream suspected the next tower she wouldn’t give up and they’d have to deal with it.
It was a risk Dream was willing to take. That’s what he told himself as he climbed up the tower, stopping just a few blocks down. He raised his bow, aimed to the crystal…
And there was nothing there.
The bedrock platform was empty. Dream was stunned, aiming still where he was sure the crystal would be before lowering his bow and muttering a small: “what…?”
Had someone already tried this attack? Did DreamXD? Dream remembered they told him how they tried to fight Dragon when she first arrived. Did XD try and destroy these crystals too? Was that still not enough?
The rabbit hole of thoughts and regrets was suddenly interrupted as Dragon made a loud, almost shrieking roar and George screamed Dream’s name.
Dream looked around to where he saw George position, and then he looked at Dragon, who’s violet eyes were staring at George as she charged over. George quickly buried himself back into the hole he’d dug out, but Dragon halted where she’d last seen him. She dug into the stone with her thick claws and she snapped at the breaking stone.
“No!” Dream yelped, and kept screaming the word again and again as he aimed his bow again. He expected to see Dragon’s teeth turn red or hear George’s last scream, but nothing of the sort happened, giving him enough focus to aim for Dragon’s eye and fire.
The arrow landed just a little off the eye, but it was close. Close enough to pierce into a soft spot and she pulled her head back with painful scream. Her front claws dug the arrow out her eye, then she looked over to Dream with hatred. Pure, white hot hatred so great Dream thought he could feel it.
Dragon opened her mouth and Dream watched her throat light up with a deep purple, then a ball of fire was headed his way.
Survival took over and Dream jumped from the tower. It wasn’t one of the highest towers, but it was enough of a fall Dream probably wouldn’t get up if he hit the ground. But the ground was very vastly approaching and Dream knew even as he reached in his inventory for his water bucket he wasn’t going to make it in time.
Still he tried, and kept his eyes on the ground, but before he could bring the bucket forward, it was suddenly flooded with water and Dream’s landing only just hurt and not killed him. He splashed in panic, half got on his knees when George’s hand grabbed his arm.
The brunette was frazzled, with his hair a mess and his goggles half hanging off his head. He panted out “I…ender pearled…” to the question Dream thought of but didn’t have the breath to ask.
The water cleared away as George collected it again then he pulled Dream up and they both ran. Because the sound of Dragon was getting closer and closer.
Dream tried to think of a way George and him could build a cover fast enough and dig under until he heard the sound of wings beating. Knowing she was in the air, Dream pulled George in against one of the towers, keeping out of her sight for a second and started rambling.
“We need to hide! Or take her out now! Did you make tunnels underneath?” Dream looked to George.
“Not at this side!” George was looking through his pack quickly. “My picks almost broken. If you…”
There was another roar and Dragon flew around the tower, over the edge of the island. She turned, saw the two and shot off another fireball.
George had tried to run as soon as she turned, but Dream grabbed and pulled him back mere seconds before fireball flew by his face. It exploded on the ground beside the two in a fiery glory. Purple flames spread all over the stone, but then they kept spreading and seeping ever close to them, moving like liquid instead of fire.
It was a curious sight Dream would have loved to investigate further, but there was no time. He pulled George to run around the other side of the tower but somehow in the span of mere seconds, Dragon had fired another fireball to the other side of the tower and the fire flowed towards them in it’s eerie manner.
“Dream!” George screeched and pulled Dream back from the fire’s edge, but there was very little safe space the two could go. Trapped with the violet fire on either side of them, and Dragon was opening her maw again getting another one ready.
Dream pulled out his pick axe, ready to dig as fast as he could below the ground when suddenly everything went dark.
Dream and George were shadowed and crowded against the black towers. Their visions blocked by a flash of green, and suddenly the heat from the fires beside them died down. Dream’s heart simultaneously screamed in relief and leapt up to his throat as he looked up, and saw DreamXD above the two, shielding them with his body. Behind XD there was a huge wall of the yellow stone, making a wall between themselves and Dragon. She made another loud roar but XD’s face was turned to the two beneath him. Even with the mask, Dream could feel the eyes of anger on him.
Dream went to open his mouth, but XD snapped before he could talk. “Move!”
The wall curled around the boy’s left side, creating a small safe pathway around the side of the obsidian tower. XD shoved Dream towards it. “Get to the centre of the island! Run!”
The two followed the God’s orders and quickly slipped through the small gap. Dream worried Dragon would go for them as soon as they escaped, but he looked back over his shoulder and she was now focused onto XD. The wall lowered when Dream and George were safely out of range and she leapt straight for XD, diving into him from the sky.
Dream’s heart lurched into his throat and he stopped himself from running.
“What are you doing?!” George shouted, stopping a bit further ahead. “XD said to run!”
“I can’t leave him!” Dream shouted back. “He’s gonna…”
His words silenced when Dragon appeared again, but this time she was slammed forcefully on her side. She made a loud screech of pain and tried to get up but XD followed her, slamming into her throat and making a long gash from under her jaw to half way down her neck. He would have probably gone more, but one of her front paws smacked XD away before he could and Dragon was left wheezing, trying to pull herself up as purple blood pulsed from her wounds and made her legs weak.
He could kill her. Dream, thought with some semblance of hope. We could kill her.
XD managed to catch himself after he was thrown and landed on his feet. He gave one look to Dragon and when he guessed she wasn’t a threat then he suddenly zipped towards Dream and George. He seemed surprised to stop so suddenly and see they had stopped running.
“I told you to run!” He hissed and grabbed Dream’s arm.
His hand was bigger, his claws longer and his skin was shaking as if trying to hold together. Not just his hand, but his whole body. XD was taller and broader and his body seemed to be fighting with itself, his skin shaking and trembling every once in a while.
XD was shifting, Dream realised. He was shifting into his true form, and he was trying to stop himself. It was a form Dream had only ever seen a handful of times before, and each time was horrifying.
“I… I wanted to help!” Dream forced himself to look back up to XD’s mask. “You hurt her! We can help kill her!”
“No!” XD snapped. “You’re both going home. The centre of the island is a structure. I’m going to open the portal back home there, then you--”
The words ended in the loudest roar of pain Dream had ever heard from his sibling, as Dragon swooped in from XD’s right side and she twisted her head to get her teeth around XD’s body.
She bit down hard enough to draw out blood and make a sickening crunch. The golden liquid leaked through her wide teeth and onto the stone below before she whipped her head and threw XD off. He hit one of the obsidian towers enough to crack in the stone. The blood and purple ooze from within the obsidian mixed as XD’s body fell limp to the ground.
A rush of rage washed over Dream’s body, like he was being hit from a waterfall. Yet despite how suddenly the anger took him, he was surprised at how calmly his body responded. Instead of an outburst of rage like he expected from himself, he moved silently and quickly. One moment on the ground and the next he was leaping onto Dragon’s face, this time his sword stabbing right into her open and unsuspecting eye.
She roared with pain that Dream hoped hurt more than words could convey. He twisted the sword in to draw out another scream, then he was thrown off as she shook her head to dislodge him. She thankfully didn’t throw him far or as hard as she had with XD so Dream skidded to a stop with George already by his side.
He looked up to see George with his bow aimed and when Dragon turned her head to look at them with her good eye, he sent of a fire of three arrows right into them. Two hit and one bounced off a scale on her cheek, but now she was blinded and panickingly thrashing herself about to dislodge the weapons in her eyes.
George pulled Dream up then. Dream’s hands were shaking and he tried to hide it, but George could probably already feel it. He couldn’t bring himself to look at the tower, to see the unmoving form of XD lying there. Instead he focused on Dragon and her thrashing and when her flailing wings and tail were getting a little too close, he pulled George and they ran to the centre of the island.
There was a structure of bedrock in the centre of the island as XD said. It lay in a small dug out spot, only being spotted by the tall bedrock beam in the centre. The base was like the shape of a small fountain but it held no water. The bottom was completely bedrock. The only thing not was the torches around the top of the pillar.
“What now?” George panted.
Dream didn’t know. Dream didn’t want to say he didn’t know. He didn’t want to admit the one plan out of here lay with XD, who was still at the bottom of that obsidian tower. If he did he would have wailed and cried and he couldn’t afford to do that.
Dragon made a half roar half wheezing noise and Dream looked over to see her climbing up one of the obsidian towers with the crystal still there. It’s healing beam shot to her and their time to plan was becoming limited.
But Dream was lost. He didn’t know what to do. All he wanted to do was run to XD’s side and cry how sorry he was. How he should have listened. How he should never have pushed XD away. How he would never do it again. A thousand words he wanted to say and thought about saying so many times but the timing or his pride would never let him.
Dragon’s roars lost their pain and became angrier. She was healing and would be coming for them again. Dream saw George out the corner of his eye ready another arrow and Dream turned his head to him. He opened his mouth, ready to spill out everything he’d ever wanted to say to George when his shoulder was suddenly pulled.
He waited for the pain of Dragon’s fangs but there was no pain. It wasn’t teeth around him, but a hand. A large hand and Dream looked up to see XD stood above him. His right side was completely torn. His cloak was shredded and bloody. His mask had fallen off and XD hadn’t made the wraps on his face for his black voidless half face with many eyes were looking between Dream and George.
Dream wanted to weep but Dragon’s roar stopped him. She had perched on the tower before jumping off and swooping right for them.
“Get…through…” XD’s voice was warbled. His double voice was worst than ever, almost unintelligible but the words to understand were quite easy.
The centre of the bedrock structure was suddenly filled with a greenish void and many stars. It was the exact same pattern on XD’s mask. The same pattern as the portal that took them here.
George wasted no time and climbed down the dip to the portal. He grabbed Dream’s arm to pull him, but Dream didn’t move. “Come on!”
“Go…” XD’s voice hissed. Their jaw wasn’t right. It was partly broken, or shattered and it was trying to reset into a new shape.
Dream let himself be pulled down to the portal, but his eyes were on XD and he was screaming “Come with us!” But XD turned away.
The End God faced the End Dragon swooping down towards him, and as Dream screamed for his brother the world suddenly when black.
It was a whiplash motion of going through adrenaline and fear, mixed with the nauseating feeling of teleportation, for it all to suddenly end in a comfortable soft bed.
Dream panicked as soon as he felt the mattress under him and fell out of the bed. He hit the cold stone of the stronghold and looked around the room. He had been teleported back to the portal room. Back into the bed he slept in the night before, and George was struggling himself out of his own.
“G… George….”
“Dream!”
George was quickly beside him, pulling him up off the ground. His legs were wobbly and he almost fell, but George caught him and sat him on the bed.
“Stay calm. You need to control your breathing…”
“I…” Dream went to say he was breathing just fine, but then he realised that no, he really wasn’t. His chest was tight. His breaths were coming out in short hyperventilations and he couldn’t get in enough air.
“Slow your breathing Dream! You’ll pass out. Please…”
“I…” It felt impossible to breathe, then George’s hand touched onto his chest and it was like tasting air for the first time. His heart slowed and his lungs drew in the longest breath it could. “I-I left him!”
“You didn’t leave him, Dream.” George quickly reassured him. “There was nothing we could do. He saved us.”
“But where is he?!” Dream’s voice almost cried. He could feel his eyes well up with tears. “He’s not here!” George didn’t say anything to that, only putting more worry into Dream and he pushed himself to stand. “We have to go back in!”
“No! Absolutely not!” George stood up with him. “We’ll die!”
“XD will die if he’s in there!” Dream shouted, like it was the most obvious thing. To him it was. “We need to help him! We need to go back in! And we…”
A pop sound filled the air and DreamXD appeared. He was slumped over on the floor, bracing himself on his hands and knees, but he was there, with them.
“XD!” Dream and George both shouted, with a mixture of surprise and elation. Dream had never felt so happy than in that moment and then all of a sudden his happiness turned to dread.
XD pushed himself to stand on shaking legs. One of the arms on his right side wasn’t moving at all and lay limp by his side. He was coated in a mix of his own blood and the dragon’s, but all his attention was on Dream and George. His eyes were glowing with anger, flicking between the two of them before he raised a hand up to his face, waving and materialising his mask to cover him again.
“You!” He growled. “You fucking idiots!”
The two friends had just enough time to look at one another before they were grabbed. XD had both of their arms in his hands, gripped tight enough it was probably leaving a mark.
They were suddenly whisked off. The stronghold and the portal faded out from view and suddenly the three were back on the surface and outside. The air was sweetly familiar of flowers and mushrooms and without seeing Dream knew they were outside George’s cottage.
The hand around George’s arm let go, practically shoving George towards his home, but the hand around Dream’s didn’t.
“Wait…” Dream’s voice was small and George turned to look, realising it too.
His eyes went wide with worry and he looked up  to the End God. “Wait XD! What…”
And that’s all they heard as XD whisked off him and his brother again. Dream dreaded he was going to suddenly see the lava wall again. He expected to feel heat and the three walls of obsidian would be encasing him again, but he wasn’t taken to the prison.
He was taken to somewhere completely opposite.
Instead of darkness, it was almost blindly bright. It seemed like a wide, never ending void of white nothingness, stretching on for miles. Dream looked around confused before the details suddenly came into view.
It wasn’t nothingness, it was a like a long, tall grand hallway. The whiteness of the pillars blended into the white void and stretched up too tall the tops of them couldn’t be seen. There were shadows of what looked like figures off in the distance, but Dream’s focus was physically pulled away as XD yanked him forward and the two began walking.
“Wha…Wait! XD!” Dream pulled at his arm, and tried to pull the hand off but XD’s grip was too tight and strong. His brother didn’t even look down at him, just facing forward to the white void ahead and almost dragging Dream along. “Wait! Wh-Where are we?! Where are you taking me?!”
“I’m taking you to someone who will watch you.” XD’s voice came out eerily calm, but Dream could hear the seething tone. “And then, I’m going to fix your mistake.”

A Minecraft movie coulda been so beautiful, if they had ditched the Jumanji ripoff angle and actually paid attention to the universal beauty that is the Minecraft experience- the way it comforts you at the end once you've beaten the dragon... The endless possibilities of creation and destruction.... or like lore?? Imagine exploring the unknowns of where do the ender creatures come from? What about the nethers occupants? The zombies that are present everywhere?? Just like. It could have been more than a gimmick. You know??? You could have done SO much with all these unanswered questions.
It could have also been a great way to experiment with animation that isn't uncanny valley + live action like cmoooooon get creative!!!

Minecraft Deities Because I Can
There are High Deities, that rule over larger domains. Every High Diety has Minor Deities attached to them, that encompass smaller pieces under their domain. Minor deity does not mean weak or unknown, simply that they have a smaller domain within anothers.
if u see anything based off of mcyt no u dont <3
Prie'ama
Prie'ama is considered to be "The Creator", known for creating and protecting the overworld. Overworlders believe Prie'ama created all realms, and most overworld cultures believe Prie'ama [or whatever name they use for Prie'ama] is the Deity Emperor, or above all other deities.
Prie'ama was not the original creator, though there are little to no records or religions/cultures that remember this.
N'xtun
N'xtun is the deity of life and death. She is believed to be the one to create souls, and then return to bring souls from their living hosts to the lands of death. She is also the guardian of the "limbo" space, a place between dimensions, most often used to house partial souls [souls of those with unfinished business, half of themselves left behind, clinging to their old life. These souls are volatile and considered dangerous, even if they don't intend to be] and be the creation space for new souls.
N'xtun is the second eldest deity. She is older than Prie'ama, though many modern cultures believe her to have come after their supposed creator.
Exdea and De'ex
Exdea and De'ex are twin deities who both reign over the domains of sleep and dreams. They are considered to be guardians and guides through the lives of living creatures between N'xtun's embraces. De'ex has closer relation to "good" or "strange" dreams, and they are often associated with pleasant premonitions and silly mishaps within dreams. Exdea is the opposite, typically related to nightmares and ominous or foreboding premonitions.
Exdea and De'ex were given the role of guardians over the End and the Overworld, respectively. They help the elder deities in their roles and are able to interact and interfere more than their elders.
Kinïstra
Kinïstra is the deity of the nether, having created both the hellish landscape and all of its residents. While the other dimensions have little to no records of her, the netherborn cherish her as their "mother," despite her lack of interaction with the netherfolk. Kinïstra, unlike the other deities, can't traverse dimensions, having been exiled to the dimension of her own creation eons prior.
It is unknown how old Kinïstra is due to the lack of record within overworld scripts and carvings. She is as old as the nether, perhaps even more ancient. She was once called Parima.
Cruor
One of N'xtuns minor deities, created to aid both N'xtun and Parima Prie'ama with the creation and destruction of their living creations. Cruor is often titled "The Blood God." Most cultures associate them with violence, bloodshed, and war. Cruor, like Exdea and De'ex, has more freedom than the elder deities to interact and interfere with mortals. Unlike the twins, however, Cruor instead picks a host, a "vassal," to bless. Their vassal carries out the more dramatic work for them, laying waste to villages and cities who dare defy them or turning the tides of battle in either sides favor single-handedly.
Cruor is a more tabboo deity in many cultures due to their association with war and bloodshed. Some cultures, such as the Piglins of the nether and the Illagers of the overworld, remember that Cruor is also the giver of life, as they control the lifeblood that flows through people and animals alike.
Heka
The deity of magic, they go by many names across cultures, but their most notable name is Heka, the deity most witches worship. In most stories, Heka is regarded as a Prometheus-type role, granting the use of magic and enchantments to mortals despite the orders of the other deities, and in turn facing a terrible punishment. Many overworld cultures portray Heka as blind, with poison, or acid, being dripped onto her forehead and rolling down her face as her eternal punishment.
Shaeol
A minor deity of Prie'ama, associated with all forms of water, from riverbeds to vast oceans. The ocean monuments are a testament of her once great influence in the overworld and the attempt at life she once created against the wishes and guidance of the elder deities. Shaeol did not have the power to sustain life for extended periods, and eventually, her people devolved beyond her control, ultimately becoming known as The Drowned.
Shaeol is known to be shapeshifter, as fluid and changing as the sea. Many stories involve Shaeol coming ashore and falling in love with mortals, their villages and people, and ways of life, only to return one day and find the place she held dear gone, either by herself or by time.
Aeshed
A minor deity of Prie'ama, associated with the earth itself, and the biomes within it. Aeshed was once known to walk the earth, going from forest to forest, biome to biome, with a gentle smile and a trail of blossoms behind him. Aeshed has not been seen wandering the earth for many generations now.
It is widely believed that Aeshed has fallen asleep in the heart of the earth or some variation. Some stories say Aeshed is merely resting from their many years of wandering, and will one day return, while others say Aeshed was cursed by a jealous Shaeol or De'ex to sleep for a thousand lifetimes, and yet others believe Aeshed has simply abandoned the overworld altogether.
Wiethesh
A minor deity of Prie'ama, associated with the wind and storms. Many stories associate Wiethesh with the Wither, either as the creator of the Wither or as the Wither itself. Most mythos believe Wiethesh has been sealed away by the other deities because they caused too much destruction upon the earth, only able to be called forth through the souls of those long past and the skulls of their infected hosts.
It is often told that stormy nights and windy gales are Wiethesh' attempt at breaking free from their imprisonment to wreak havoc once more.
Deshae
A minor deity of Prie'ama, often associated with fire and the hearth. Deshae has many appearances across cultures, some with disaster, some with the warmth of a hearth or the fire of a furnace, but many keep Deshae fairly neutral, balanced both in blazing, destructive fury, and gentle comforting warmth.
Ca'alohn
The deity of chaos. Often portrayed with horns or antlers and associated with the wild. Ca'alohn is typically considered to be wild and free spirited, oft portrayed with a voice like thunder, so that no mere mortal can hear them.
It's rumored that Ca'alohn has abandoned the peoples of the overworld in favor of roaming across the known dimensions as he sees fit. While most disasters and chaos are blamed on Ca'alohn's interference in some way, shape, or form, Ca'alohn himself has not been seen in hundreds of years.
Myx
Deity of change. They are known to have at least 4 distinct appearances, another constant shifter similar to Shaeol. Myx is often associated with horns, creepers, and divides between biomes.

It had been a long, long time since they had woken. Fixing things here and there could be done in a half-aware state, so she could count on one wing, how many times they had moved since planting the seeds of the nether beneath her flesh.
But, this was a pressing matter. One she should have seen a long while ago. Her own creations should have never fought against each other, let alone chase newcomers away from her. Her warriors -- those souls she’d saved from consumption to bring in those unwilling to come quietly -- were never meant to have such dreams like that of greed and territory. So why was it, that that little piece of herself out in the overworld was reporting that a little cat had been a prisoner of war on their flesh, captured and tortured by their warriors?
It had taken a moment to find which nether it was that was having such a commotion - filtering her mind through each and every infinitely growing, fluttering, and melting wing was once an easy task, but that was before she had taken this job. Before the Aether left them, before her innocence - her conscience - ran away from her. When she found which wing housed Mantis’ nether, it was only a matter of reaching within to speak with her traitorous little warriors.
Within her wing, it was hot, and blazingly bright from the light of her burning ichor. She could feel every inch of herself within the ground that the inhabitants trod on, every footstep revealing the position of each living being in her care. And, with her focus on this nether, she felt the pounding of war drums, the screams of her own being brought down by others of her flesh. The balance of life was wrong here, and her stupid warriors were at the center of the problem.
With a strength they had not used in millions of years, she reached out to her bones and muscles to pull herself out of the pool of ichor she had formed within. As she did so, her skin pulled tight, and a great rumbling ruptured from every corner of the nether, but she didn’t stop her movement. She had to raise her eye above her blood so that she could properly see what war had wrought.
Across the Nether, all beings big and small paused in fighting, cowering, in running, and in chasing. A great and horrible tearing sounded from every inch of the hot, red land, and with it, the ground shook like some sort of beast was rattling the bars of a cage it had long been held within.
All across the land, netherrack cracked and crumbled as nylium stretched and tore. From the depths of the Nether, where none had ever thought to look, emerged spears of blackstone that bent oddly, almost like the legs of a spider. Those who found themselves close enough to inspect them, found they were covered in a fleshy, fungal growth that trembled and flinched like muscles and skin. And, for a moment, all was silent in the Nether as every being took in these new unsettling obelisks of brick and meat.
All was silent, that is, until these obelisks, chunks apart from each other, all began to move, as if working together to walk a larger body just as unknown as these legs.
Within a fortress, hanging high above a vast ocean of lava, two resistance fighters knew nothing of this phenomenon, as they were far too busy planning for the next wave of a war neither ever wanted to fight. They knew there was a piglin encampment not far from their current hideout, so time was of the essence to have, in the least, an escape plan.
These two only noticed the rumbling of the Nether when the blackstone legs had all walked themselves to each of the shorelines of the lava ocean, and heaved.
With a thunderous flooding, the lava parted unwillingly to the force of a great and terrible being raising itself from its depths. Indeed, attached to those leg-like obelisks, was the form of some sort of larger creature. It gazed down at those far beneath itself, as that was all it could do. The legs attached directly to a massive eyeball and nothing else - besides the fungal growth draped and melting across the entirety of its body.
The disruption of the lava ocean shook the fighter’s fortress enough for them to take notice, and when they looked for the source of the disruption, they both found that their hide away was high enough to put them at the perfect level to look out and lock gazes with that of a single, burning Iris.
“Greetings.” spoke the eye, in a way that an eye never should have been able to. The voice was low and velvety, unnervingly gentle, and rang out in the minds of each and every being within the Nether without a sound ever once coming from this awful creature.
“Janice…” the shorter of the fighters whispered with a trembling voice.
“I see it too, Bridgette… I… I don't know.”
The eye took notice of them and swept itself in close to them, where they stood on their fortress wall. Just being near it felt like a force of gravity was pushing the two both into and away from the massive pupil that dilated as it watched them. Lava ran through the veins within the eye, and there was something slick across the whole of it, but it looked more like grease than saline.
“Mantis sends her regards, I’m sure. I didn’t ask her for them in any case,” the great eye’s voice rattled through their heads, but left no room for response as it turned to the shoreline and speared two blackstone legs down onto either side of the piglin encampment that had been tormenting the two for the last week.
The haunting pressure from the eye left the two as it was now directed towards the piglin general who had tried to meet the thing with its axe drawn. Even from their spot so far away, Bridgette and Janice could tell that his fighting spirit drained as soon as that horrid eye swooped down within inches of his face. A glob of grease dripped from the surface of the eye, directly onto his arm, and though it began to burn his skin, his body was too locked up in fear to wipe it away.
“Did you think I would not notice? That I would allow you to tarnish me in such a way?” the voice rang in all of their heads, but it must have hit the piglins especially hard, as they dropped their weapons in a rush and fell to their knees with nothing more than a few pitiful oinks.
“I created you to bring me new souls, not chase them away! Did you really think that wracking my flesh with war would accomplish such a thing? You own nothing in this land, for you are mine. If you cannot do your one and only job, I will have to find another soul who can.”
The piglin general tried to raise his axe to the eye again, in a pitiful attempt to threaten it, but before any malicious intent could be sworn by him, the eye’s pupil narrowed, warped roots shot down from somewhere within it, and wrapped around the general. His army watched on in horror as those roots sucked him up into the pupil of the eye, only to have it spit out his armor, weapons, and a body sucked dry of all blood, muscle and bone. The gray, empty skin of the piglin general fluttered to the ground slower than his golden armor did, yet hit the ground with stronger finality.
The eye pulled back, and addressed the army like a proper leader would.
“You will no longer wrack war across my flesh. You bring me nothing when you do so, and you will only exist if I deem you useful to me. Leave this place, go back to where you are meant to be, and remember that I will be watching you carefully from now on. Should I find any wars on my body, I will treat each and every one of you like the ticks you are.”
The army scattered when permission was granted, and the fighters on the fortress wall stared in awe and horror at what had just transpired in front of them. They watched, silently, careful not to catch the eye’s attention, as it moved back to the center of the lava ocean. However, it did not sink back into the abyss - rather, it submerged halfway down into the lava, kept a leg on each shoreline, and watched as the piglins escaped.
It didn't seem possible. It felt like some sort of prank the universe was playing on them, but if this horror, this entity, was staying… then somehow, wherever they were, Mantis had gotten it to stop the war.

Growing Pains
Grunting, the weary piglin hybrid trudged through the crimson forests of the Nether, his tattered golden armor clinging to his worn frame. Evidence of the countless battles he had faced and the perilous trade negotiations he had undertaken adorned his attire. The weight of acquired treasures jangled in his satchel, serving as a constant reminder of his successful dealings with the formidable piglins.
However his path was not driven by a desire for riches. Instead, it was a duty that brought him to the piglin community located a little ways from his isolated crimson hill. Amidst the desolate landscape, he found companionship and a sense of belonging among his fellow piglins.
The community nestled within the claustrophobic confines of the Nether, contrasted starkly with the idyllic landscapes of the Overworld. Its labyrinthine maze of red stone walls twisted and turned sharply, seemingly designed to disorient even the most experienced traveller. The suffocating atmosphere combined with the omnipresent shade of red created an oppressive ambiance, challenging every moment there spent within.
The air resonated with a cacophony of grunts, snorts, and echoes of the crowd, bouncing off the unforgiving walls. It was a constant assault on the senses, amplifying the inherent stress of navigating the congested space.
The piglins, rough and rugged in demeanor, displayed little inclination for camaraderie, their expressions bearing the weight of their hardships. A growl warned any who ventured too close to keep their distance.
Despite weariness and the overwhelming environment, the piglin hybrid pressed forward. He knew his visits to the community were necessary for survival, and he had earned a reputation through fair trades and honest negotiations. Respect and camaraderie, as much as their culture can show, had been bestowed upon him by his fellow piglins.
Yet, deep within him, memories of a past lingered.
As a child, he had witnessed the horrors unleashed upon his village by creatures from the Overworld as they destroyed everything and left nothing but destruction in their wake. His mother, in an act of self-preservation, had whisked him away through a glimpse of the Nether portal, sparing him from the same fate that befell their kin.
That portal, a doorway to a world unknown to him, had become a haunting symbol of loss and the pain inflicted upon his people. It stood as a stark contrast between the chaos of the Overworld and the harsh reality of the Nether, reinforcing his decision never to return, resonating with the memories that resurfaced whenever he encountered the remnants of the ruined gateway.
As the weary piglin hybrid navigated the convoluted paths of the piglin community, gratitude and bitterness mingled within him. Gratitude for the sense of community, support, and the opportunity to forge a new life amidst the chaos. Bitterness for the memories that surged forth whenever he caught sight of the ruined Nether portal— a constant reminder of the world he had lost.
Aware that his place was in the Nether, among the crimson forests and the unforgiving beauty of his surroundings, he found stability and purpose within the flawed piglin community. With each step, he continued his journey, the warrior spirit burning within him, fueled by battles fought and scars earned.
His footsteps carried the weight of battles fought and taken lives in the Nether. The piglin hybrid was not just a trader; he was a warrior, a survivor. His golden armor, battered and worn, bore the marks of countless clashes with hostile creatures. The crimson forests echoed with the whispers of his triumphs, and his battle-worn weapons were a testament to his prowess.
Each encounter in the Nether had been a dance of life and death, a delicate balance between striking down foes and evading their lethal blows.
He had faced the fiery wrath of ghasts, their explosive projectiles threatening to consume him in flames. He had clashed with fearsome magma cubes, their searing touch capable of melting even the strongest armour. And in the depths of fortresses, he had confronted the relentless onslaught of blazes, their fireballs igniting the air around him.
But it wasn't just physical battles he had endured. The Nether itself was a treacherous realm, where the very environment posed a constant threat. The oppressive heat, suffocating ash, and volatile terrain demanded a resilience beyond mere combat skills. Survival in the Nether required cunning, adaptability, and the ability to navigate its hostile landscapes with unwavering determination.
The piglin hybrid had honed his instincts and reflexes through these trials, emerging stronger and more capable with each encounter. His fellow piglins admired his combat prowess, their grunts of respect a testament to his status among them. They saw him not just as a trader but as a guardian, a protector who ensured their safety in the face of the Nether's dangers.
Yet, even amidst his battles and triumphs, the allure of the Nether portal beckoned to him. The flames that danced within its depths whispered of uncharted realms, of untold wonders and mysteries waiting to be unraveled. The warrior within him longed to venture through, to explore the Overworld and experience a world beyond the crimson forests.
The uneasy feeling of curiosity tugged at his heartstrings, gnawing at him relentlessly. The desire to know, to witness the landscapes that existed outside the confines of the Nether, grew stronger with each passing day. It whispered promises of new adversaries to conquer, new battles to fight, and the chance to uncover truths that could reshape his understanding of the world.
But for now, he suppressed the call of the portal, knowing that his duty lay in protecting and strengthening his piglin community. The memories of his past fueled his determination to ensure that no other piglins would suffer the same fate as his village. And so, with each step he took, he carried both the weight of his battles and the yearning for the unknown, a warrior torn between his responsibilities and the unquenchable thirst for adventure.
